Leon's Furniture lamp

Leon's is terrible. I use to think that they have better stuff but after today not anymore. I bought 3 lamps. They offer me their "floor models". I said why not. I took it home notice it was scratched. Next day I went back to Leons to return the lamps said I cannot return it because its in their company policy and lamps are one of the items that cannot be returned/refunded. Horrible customer service. Wouldn't want to spend a dime in any Leons store ever again.

Leon's Furniture whirlpool microwave installation.

Spent $4200 on new appliances and had them delivered. Thought I could install the microwave but it's a bigger job than I can handle. Called the salesperson to make arrangements to have an installer come do the install. I live in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. I was told that I would have to drive to Edmonton (a 40 minute drive one way) where I made the purchase to pay for the installation and they would give me the name of an installer. Won't let me pay over the phone. That is ridiculous! I will find an installer somewhere else!

BUYER BEWARE!
2018-10-04: Received a call from Leons explaining that after i had paid in full 2 months prior, the furniture i had purchased was no longer available and i would not be receiving it.
The furniture was a discontinued Model. Salesman looked in the system to find where the nightstands and dresser were available. The nightstands were on a shipment to Ontario and i was told that there were 11 available, therefore i bought them as i was told they were available.
a month and a half later i receive a call explaining that they are NO LONGER available! When i asked for an explanation as to how, after i have paid for an item in full, i will not receive it. I was simply given an "i'm sorry ma'am but unfortunately this happens sometimes and there is nothing we can do but reimburse you". This answer is simply unacceptable.
Why can you take my money, therefore me purchasing an item, IN FULL and then tell me almost 2 months later that i will not receive it.
I was offered NOTHING as compensation for loss of time and simply being LIED TO by Leon's! I have NEVER IN MY LIFE experienced such a horrible customer service!
NOTE TO FUTURE BUYERS: KEEP IN MIND THAT EVEN IF YOU BUY SOMETHING FROM LEONS THERE IS A 99% CHANCE THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE WHAT YOU HAVE PAID FOR!
Worst service ever, I, along with friends and family, will NEVER shop at leons again!

This is exactly what I am starting to experience, bought and fully paid for a fridge over a month ago, was supposed to be in 3 weeks, now they are saying 3 more weeks. I am starting to think their is something fishy going on, how do you not a fridge shipped quickly when your a furniture store?

Leon's Furniture waiting for two dressers since july

Order # 07158RHTZBE date: 07/19/18
I purchased a mattress, healthguard, & 2 dressers. The dressers we were told would be in in 4 - 6 weeks. These I bought for my grandchildren. Both my daughter & I have been calling Stephanie in your Richmond Hill office. First we were told "not in yet". After more calls, told "end of Sept." Meanwhile I had approximately $1, 000.00 tied up from the purchase and nothing to show for it. So I asked for a refund. Stephanie told me to at least keep the tax on the bill so I could still claim my order. I called her back yesterday, Oct. 3rd, and she told me that the items were in Mississauga and they could order it into the warehouse but I had to come in again to pay for the 2 dressers. My daughter is a full time teacher with 2 small children and cannot come back. We did this order when she was on summer vacation. I also do not live close. So all of a sudden, after my last call, I was told that the items are in (we were never notified). That seems very strange. Stephanie contradicted what she told me before, that now I lost my place in line for the units because she refunded the money less the tax. We have purchased many items over the years with Leon's and would like to remain a satisfied customer. And now been given the "run around".
We are very displeased about what's going on and would like some satisfaction.

Leon's Furniture two coaches that were deliver

Got 2 coaches deliver that paid 800 dollars for HD no choice to sign for them we're me an the family been sitting on the floor cause it took months to get an on the bottom of the coaches all the staples are all stuck out an very sloppy job done an here some pics an if something anit reslov I be going to the bbb this is what hard earn money sohould not get u

Leon's Furniture serra matress plush

I purchased a matress from scarbrough location after laying on it in the store and trying it out. The matress I received is not the same as the one I purchased. It was way too hard and extremely uncomfortable. I am positive I was scammed the old bait and swich technique. They showed me a comfortable matress and send me the exact opposite...after a full day with customer service I was told that there cannot help me...wut a scam... my name is fadi nassar and my # is [protected] if anyone here cares call me

Leon's Furniture customer service

My online order submitted on June 6th has not been delivered till this date Sep29th and I sent multiple emails to the customer service without any proper reply except only a phone call. Most of those calls were not picked up since they overlap with my work meeting time. When I called them back, I have to wait long time on phone to speak to one of the agents! The customer service regulations at Leon's need to be revised since it does not suit busy people like me. I paid the full amount of the furniture and was expecting the delivery to be fast and smooth without having to email/call back to get my stuff. They gave me very hard time and I had very bad customer experience so far. Now, I want to refund my money back and will never ever buy anything from their store!

Leon's Furniture fridge

Ordered a fridge and when son went to pick it up was told no record of order number. Person in store would not do anything to help. Tried live chat, which isn't live during normal business hours. Since there s no free number to call you have to play the email game. When emailed the not live line they found the order and said it wasn't paid for even though showed paid. No emails sent to ask us about payment and no one to talk to. Not a customer friendly company, maybe CEO needs to put email address on website so they can see what goes on in stores.

Leon's Furniture refrigerator

I ordered a fridge 1st week in aug, was told it could take up to 4 weeks, called many times to ck .The answer was I will get the manager to ck and call you back . Today the sales rep called to inform me it was back ordered and would take another 2 weeks but she could not provide me with a tracking number or give me an exact date. There was no explanation why I was not informed re back order and given a different option.Now it will be 2nd week in Oct before I can expect my refrigerator . It has been a long hot summer without a fridge. Frustrated Wanda

Leon's Furniture product purchase

I purchased an online dishwasher. It arrived at the Simcoe store. They called me to pick it up and that it was IN. I arrived the very next day and they said its not there. The manager said We used it as the floor model so I have to order another one. This is unacceptable. I had a house to close and needed that dishwasher. She didnt even appologize and was very abrupt and said things happen and so we used it as a floor model...
I am going back this morning to cancel my order and I will NOT purchase from Leons again.

Leon's Furniture wrong mattress delivered.

On september 13 th / 2018.. went to our local leon's in welland, ontario. purchased a mattress at a vip door crasher special for $599 plus tax (invoice # [protected])... garrett #[protected]/vend # 0298/description-queen mattress pt. pc. gel diamond.. salesman Jeff was writing up order for customer #1 and saleslady Nicole was writing up my order #2 - Jerry C.. we waited around 1/2 hour for store to open / Jeff said there were 6 mattresses available in store / had a truck on hand to take home with me / paid for in full, after was told only at the niagara store/ waited for leon's to deliver on wed. sept. 19 th (4 hours) and the mattress they delivered was wrong. / was told at the welland store it was more money than the one we ordered and they would exchange it for the right one. over a week has passed and no call yet on our mattress. we took picture of the 2 mattresses on the sales floor the one we are waiting for is $[protected] pocket coils) and the one they delivered is $999 (847 pocket coils). the fact that they where telling me the mattress wrongly delivered was a more expensive one makes me wonder if this was done on purpose. also had 2 free pillows delivered with order with large slice in it. Leon's Furniture maytag washer

I purchased a Maytag washer from Leons with the extended 2 yr. warranty on July 13/18 and picked it up on July 21/18. I only washed approximately 8 loads of laundry when I noticed a metallic clicking sound from the washer. I called the service dept. at Leons and the lady told me I had to deal with the warranty for the first yr. through May Tag first. That is what I did. Maytag informed me through mail that there was no service technician in my area so I had to arrange to get my washer somewhere to get fixed as long as it was under $500.00. I had to reload this machine back up myself and drive it to another town 105 km away at my cost. Maytag did not give me much help in the whole ordeal and the same goes for Leons. After making my complaint to Leons twice, the service adviser said she was going to phone me back and she never did. This is a new machine! Both Leons and Maytag did a poor job in handling my issue. I was the one to search out and find a local service repair shop. I know one thing for sure, I plan on buying more appliances in the near future. I can guarantee I will not be buying from both Leons or another Maytag appliance. They both can stick their business where the sun don't shine! I am going to Best Buy.

Leon's Furniture beds and service

I bought a bed that I received over 6 weeks later that was defective and couldn't be put together. Whoever made the bed didn't know how to drill holes evenly so the bed wouldn't tilt. When I called the Leon's I bought it from and told them they said their are no refunds and I couldn't get another bed and headboard because they don't have anymore. So they would fix The bed. So instead of getting a new bed I'm getting a bed that has to be fixed. Not to mention the staff is rude and incompetent. Now I get a phone call that after waiting for so long they won't even deliver my bed because we are mean. Ridiculous place to deal with. We have our own business and I never thought a business could be so deceptive and unhelpful. I should have been told that even if the product is not made right and they couldn't get me the product anymore that I wouldn't get my money back. I am extremely disappoint and I will never step foot in this store again.

Leon's Furniture salesperson

I wanted to let you know because of the poor service we were given on Sun Sept 23rd, we purchased a new dishwasher at another retail store. We felt like the gentleman couldn't be bothered with us. He went on about how white dishwashers were going out of style more less but this is what we wanted as our fridge and stove are white. We were ready to buy and he told us they weren't in stock because they didn't sell many. We said we were going to check elsewhere and he said we wouldn't have any luck. I don't know his name but he was a tall man with balding hair. Anyway we found one at best buy and got it for 100.00 cheaper and there were over 49 to choose from and yes we have to wait a bit but that's okay. The sales person couldn't have been more helpful. The sad part is we have purchased lots from leons over the years and are preasantly paying furniture off, wether or not we come back in the future remains to be seen.

Leon's Furniture daughters bed/mattress/box spring

I have never purchased an item from Leon's and probably never will after my experience with both the sales associate and customer service at Leon's.

I purchased a $1263 bed, box spring and mattress for my daughter on August 1, 2018. I was told delivery date would be August 28, 2018.

After numerous calls to the local Leon's furniture store (5 to be exact) to inquire about my daughters bed I was told to call back as the sales associate that sold me the bed was not in at the moment. I left 3 messages & my messages were never returned back until I called back my fourth time.

On September 11, I received a call from a delivery guy stating that ONLY my mattress & boxspring would be delivered on September 12. He was unsure where the bed frame was. I explained that this date was not feasible for me as I was working a 12hr shift at the hospital. He told me I would have to arrange another day with the sales associate.

After having surgery, I contacted the sales associate on September 14, 2018 & was able to talk to him and explained that my daughter has been sleeping on an air mattress as I was told August 28, 2018 her bed was suppose to be in. He informed me that the bed was still in Scarborough and they were expecting the bed frame to be in October 15! Upset I asked to be reimbursed for my purchase as I was going elsewhere.

I have since gone elsewhere and was very pleased to see my item arrived in 5 days and I also saved $500!

Leon's Furniture bed purchase

I was looking for a new bed and my uncle suggested I go to Leon's. The first time reps. Were amazing overly nice, but I could tell they weren't interested in trying to help me get a good bed, just wanted me to give them a sale (apparently they work on commission)
I decided to go with an adjustable base but was unsure as to which mattress to get as the one I like, despite sales rep. Insisted worked well on an adjustable base would just bunch up in the middle.
Worth mentioning that the mattress I had settled on because of the fell was for a $1000 and rep advised I was saving over a $)1000 on it. However the regular sign was for under $1300 (which means someone is lying).
I paid down on the adjustable base however it was not on display at the store in Hamilton so I drove to Burlington to see it and to finalize purchase.
A lady who was very helpful took over a guy she introduced as a manager to help. I explained to guy after introducing myself that I had paid down on the item at the store on Hamilton (where I was told I could cancel if I went and saw and did not like).
Immediately guys body posture facial expression changed and after mumbling to the lady without acknowledging me he turned and walked away to go stand between some furniture's (doing absolutely nothing).
The lady pleasant as she was told me she was going to come and assist me as soon as she was finished with the customers she had excused herself from to check on me.
Therefore I stood and waited over 20 mins. While this manager guy and at least 4 more employees wandered around aimlessly.
Not impressed at all with the level of service, really considering cancelling everything and going else where. Should I continue with purchase the lady would be a huge factor as to why. As she was very pleasant.
I have done sales and collections, and honestly you think about the bonus prior to greeting a customer, then once you have customer, make customer the priority and trust they will know and you will make mad sales. These reps need training

Not to mention manager st the Hamilton store was also rude to me when I went to make a payment. She advised payment wasnt taken for something and that I had to pay. Tom 30. Ins for her to acknowledge that pymnt was take. Just not applied in the system correctly.
This despite her employee and myself stating that pymnt was take .
Hmmm dont know if I should trust this place to be honest

Leon's Furniture living room set

We purchased our living room set on August 11th 2018 and were promised delivery on September 15, 2018. We waited hours for the delivery without any notice from Leon's. Finally I called and they said sorry it's not in stock but we will call you back. Never received a phone call back. Called them 3 times with no answer back. Drove to Barrie location and they had nothing to offer us as to an answer for delivery. The manager would not even come to see us. TERRIBLE customer service.

Leon's Furniture tv unit

I bought a TV unit last Friday that got delivered on Tuesday. When I received it. I put it in the place. But I see some damages on it. It looks bad. I have the pictures that I am attaching with it. Please act as soon as possible. Because I just want to get rid of this TV unit. I spent so much money and wasn't expecting that. Please help me. My contact info [protected].

Leon's Furniture coffee table

We just opened the box and took off all the wrapping. It looks likes the strapping that was around it was too tight and made an indent on one of the sides. There is also the wrapping still stuck in the wood. The indent is pretty big and the paint is chipping. I don't know what can you can you can to fix this but it's brand new and we'd like to see it fixed or replaced please. Thank you

Leon's Furniture customer service

We purchased our furniture at the Windsor location on division road August 24th 2018. We did not received 2 peice but were told they would be in the following Friday. It took us 2weeks of calls and messages to get a call back to see if your stuff was in. We went in to get it and were directed to a young lady at the desk to which did not acknowledge us. She finally said without looking up "got your bill" I said I have my drivers licence. She huffed and stopped talking to us and looked off into the distance. I had to ask if it was going to be okay. She continued to look us up but we needed a price match so she grabbed someone from the back who treated us like stupid idiots. She was rude and condescending and instead of being helpful she chose to be ignorant. When I asked for a new copy of my bill she she said I haven't processed it. She could have said let me do that for you? Nope, I then ask will it be ready when we pick up tomorrow ? She said "okay sure" with the most disgusting ignorance in her voice. They they stood there with ignorance and we had to ask them is everything set ? She like yup. I can't even explain how rude these 2 were and for no reason. I suggest you follow up with that store. They weren't wearing name tags but they were working Sunday Sept 16th at 1 pm. Feel free to contact us for details.
