Leisure Time Savings Club I cancel my membership and they continue to charge my bank account!

The same as above... I call to cancel my membership and they say the will take care of it and credit my account but I do not receive a credit and the next month the charge shows up on my bank statement again. It is very frustrating. I have put in a fraud complaint with my bank and they haven't had any luck either. I am now going to write a letter to the company and a copy of the letter to my bank. I hope this will take care of it.

They will contuinue to charge your credit card... your information was sold to a third party biller... check your statement for: Check Bill WA US or Bill WAUS or WAUS Kirkland... there are variations on the alias used. The charge will be for $1 and some odd cents. It's fraud and there are a lot of entries on this site. Good Luck!

Leisure Time Savings Club Debit charges that were unauthorized!

We received a phone call stating that the Credit Card Company was offering free gifts because of our good rating. We would receive some free stuff in the mail and then some brochures about their products. If we were interested we could sign up, if not then do nothing. They received no information from us about any debit or credit card number. A few days later debits starting appearing in our bank account Unlimited Blue Rate $3.50 and $49.90; Identity Protection $3.95 and $49.91; Financial Magazine $1.05. We called all these companies immediately and said we did not want anything from them and we wanted our money back. They at first said they would credit our account. When it didn't happen in a couple of days, we called again. They then said they would send us a check. Nothing happened. We called again and got the run around for 2 days and then they said they would credit our account. That was a week ago and still nothing. Then other charges started coming out of our account: Direct Discount Club $1.00 and $29.95; Leisure Time Savings $1.00 and $2933. and Check Bill WAUS $1.05.

We got another call a week ago saying about the same thing. The person on the other end of the phone gave out the last four digits of one of our cards. He was asked where he got the card number. He said it was purchased from a company and then he hung up.

Is there not any way to stop this stealing? We can change our numbers but others will still be caught in the snare. The people calling do not take no for an answer.

The above listed website www.Leisure TimeSavings.com and www.DiscountShopperSavingsClub.com are CRAP. They have stolen over $300.00 from me as of the date of this Complaint. I am a Paralegal with a Law Firm, Thank God and I am in the process of filing an Action in Small Claims Court. I have canceled my credit card now. I have been charged over 16 times by them for my monthly membership and/or other bogus/unexisting "business" incurring charges in the amount of approximately $397.97. Is there any one else that has gotten GOT? Nicole McDuffie, Paralegal Services, [protected] or [protected] (cellular). I have written the above companies demanding my monies back with no response. I am mad.

Ron Allen of Ron Allen Enterprises, 350 E St, Santa Rosa, CA 95402 is behind this scam. Ron Allen Enterprises owns Synergy Credit Services (maybe how they get the CC numbers?) Synergy Teleservices (maybe the people who are calling?), Discount Savings Club (www.discountshopperssavingsclub.com), Direct Discount Club (www.directdiscountclub.com), and Leisure Time Savings (leisure-time-savings.com). I would suggest you call his personal business number to complain. [protected] It is automated, just wait for the prompt then enter the first three letters of his last name and you will be connected to his personal line. Hope this helps.

I also got a phone call from a company called Leisure Time Savinga Club. They said that I had made a purchase from Target or Walmarts and they had told them that I was a valued customer. Then they said that I was to recieve 150.00 worth of gas vouchers and I would only have to pay 2.95 for the shipping and handling. Then they went on to say that if I decided to join the club that there would be an additional charge of 29.95. I immediately knew this was a scam so when I hung up the phone I called my bank and talked to the fraud deptment. I told them about the phone call and asked them to check my account to make sure there was no charges on my card. They did and thank God there wasn't. So I asked them to cancel my debit card and issue me a new one. The bank made notation of this and promised me that they would handle this problem. I'm just glad I handled this as quickly as I did.

I wanted to comment as I am a recent victim to Telemarketing fraud.

I received a phone call from someone stating they were calling from Visa Rewards and said that my Rewards were set to expire on my account ending in xxxx and that I need to use them or lose them. They proceeded to tell me that they would send me a package to review my rewards gift options but there would be a minimal charge of $1.00 for handling - I agreed (first mistake). A day or so after this phone call, I started seeing charges on my Visa from Discount Savings Club for $1.00, then Leisure Time Savings Club for $1.00, and Med Health Plus for $5.95. There were a few other charges from these companies for a few cents which I didn't understand. Upon further investigation, the small cent charges were a surcharge from my account because they were International charges - now I was extremely concerned. I called my Bank immediately and reported the fraudulent activity and ordered a new card with a new number.

Bottom line, you cannot trust anyone. If a telemarketer calls, the best thing to do is not to answer. They are extremely pushy and will wind up signing you up for something you didn't agree to. We all need to utilize the advantages of Caller ID - if you don't know the number - don't answer. If it is important - whomever is calling will leave a message.

I hope my posting prevents someone from being another victim.
