LEDLight.com beware of super high shipping charges

I placed an online order for some small parts, which easily fit into a standard flat rate USPS box, postage of $4.90. In the final step of checkout, the shipping charges popped up at more than $25. I figured it was an error, so went ahead and paid and then contacted the company. They answered that the shipping charges were dictated by USPS, not them. That's completely untrue. USPS only cares about what it charges for postage, not what private companies charge their customers for shipping. The company has been completely uncooperative. So beware, ledlight.com's shipping charges, which are only revealed late in the ordering process, are very very high, far more than their actual costs.‎

Agree, LEDLight.com is dishonest and cheating customers. I have seventeen dead LED bulbs that they will not replace. Some of the failed bulbs lasted only two weeks. When they started failing, LEDLight.com promised to take care of it. They said they knew these bulbs had a high failure rate and would replace them. They lied. 100% of some of the bulb types failed. They are still selling these known defective products. I have $700.00 worth of dead bulbs (seventeen bulbs) that they refuse to replace or refund. Avoid doing business with LEDlight.com.

LEDLight.com Failure to Deliver product

I was never notified, when the order confirmation was received, that any of the items would be on backorder. I was informed of this when a partial order was received. If I had know this fact before hand, I would have cancelled the entire order.

I have, on several occasions, been “reassured” by Bryan in sales that the missing tail light bulb should arrive any day now and that it would be shipped out immediately.

I’m tired of waiting. My last correspondence to them dated Wednesday, January 20, 2010 has not been acknowledged.

Therefore, since it’s apparent that LEDLIGHT.COM will not or cannot fulfill the order that has been paid for since last December, I want the following:

1. To keep the festoon bulb (I have no problem paying for that);
2. To cancel the remaining order. receive a full and prompt refund for not only the two bulbs that were only partially delivered, but for the shipping and handling charges already incurred (paying only for the festoon bulb) – a total refund request of $56.21;
3. I’ll be glad to ship the partial pack back at LEDLIGHT.COM’s expense and liability.

I am enclosing the last email that was sent to LEDLIGHTS.COM and their last correspondence. It’s sad, the first time I ordered from them, their customer service was excellent.

Sorry to hear your bad experience with LEDLight.com. Check the web and you will find they are very dishonest and cheating customers. They ripped me off for $700.00. The LED bulbs I purchased from LEDLight.com failed. I have seventeen dead LED bulbs, $700.00 worth, that they won't replace. When the failures started, they promised to take care of it. They lied. LEDLight.com is selling known defective products, lying to customers and stealing from consumers. Shame on LEDLight.com.

LEDLight.com Product Reliability

This on-line store sells bulbs that are very unreliable, and then their store policy prevents the customer from getting replacements or repairs. I would not buy from this outfit - major trouble and bad business practices.

Unfortunately, I was burned by LEDlight.com also. Several bulbs I bought from them failed within weeks or a few months. They would not replace them even though it was well after these reports started showing up about the reliability problems, and they are still selling those bulbs. They also do not post my negative reviews on their site, so their customer review are effectively useless. Avoid doing business with them if you can.

LEDLight.com did the same thing to me. I have seventeen dead LED bulbs that cost me $700.00. When the failures started they promised to take care of it. They lied. They refuse to replace known defective products. They even changed the warranty information on their website and refuse to warranty already purchased and failed products. They told me on the phone they knew that some of their products had reliability problems and that they would replace or refund the failed bulbs. They lied. They are still selling these defective products knowing full well they will fail. LEDLight.com is dishonest and cheating consumers.

LEDLight.com Beware

Beware of LEDLight.com. This company is selling products that they know are defective. No support for failed LED bulbs. These bulbs are very expensive ($20 - $105) and in some cases last only two or three weeks. They refuse to replace defective bulbs. LEDLight.com is selling known defective products and has bad customer service.
