LCRA / Erroneous water bill
I called LCRA after receiving an unusually high water bill in October. It was double the normal bill and the highest water bill I have ever had. They proceeded to quote me numbers of gallons used instead of trying to figure out what went wrong. I received an email saying that my account would be credited money. And then when I called about this credit, they said I actually owed even more money? They would not provide me with the appropriate number of their governing body. They changed the water meter previously and this suspiciously coincided with the high water bill. Of course, this month my bill is back down to what it usually runs. What a surprise.
