Law Office of Mitchell N., New York,NY / claim of 74.64 owed on Texaco Card

1 New York, NY, United States Review updated:

My Wife was contacted by Mail, harrased by phone and @ work by this firm claiming that we owed $74.64 on a Texaco Card from the 80's. I am in Afghanistan and my wife did not contact me about this and paid the amount; because it was on her credit report. We did not owe this amount and have not had a TEXACO card since the 80's. This was a outright scam and fraudulent claim. This company needs to be shut down before more individuals become victims

tell your wife these are not real lawyers. Collection agencies. I was told this by an attorney in Texas. A real attornies office will have the attornies name and seal on his letter. They claim this. Attornies from other states normaly don't file in other states. Slam the phone on them. I have had them call my home like this and call for every name in the book with last name but another first name. Calling themselves law office. Call your phone company if this continues. The phone company will fix it where they can not call without you accepting the call first.I laugh at them and give them a blast of my amplified stereo system by putting the phone reciever in the amp and cranking the amp up. So far they have quit. Maybe an ear ache or two?
