Larry Hourd Executor of Awards review: They fool people and tell that they win prizes 19

I was fooled by the company Larry Hourd Executor of Awards. I got the email from this company and they informed me that I won large sum. I believed them and I didn’t think that it was scam, but they asked to provide payment in amount of $15. I sent money and never thought that it would be real scam. But after they got my money, they stopped to communicate with me. I just wanted to warn other people. Don’t believe them and send money.

My mom got this same stupid letter. Oct 2017 and this"Larry" hasn't been prosecuted? Btw: If you were foolish enough to send money, you at least have a product of some sort coming to you, like a coupon book or in my mother's case, a crystal (glass) pendant. So you should at least ask for that. Incidentally, he may be able to get away with this simply because he's*asking" for money only for a "premium prize" which is not required to enter the sweepstakes. So, we don't actually know if there is a real payout of money because everyone who's had an opinion on this never got that far.

Got the letter in the mail today. This time it's from Award Notification Commission located in Kansas City, KS. I guess Larry Hourd's on the move! Obvious scam. The only problem I have is that no one is doing anything about it. This is 2017 and this guy has been scamming for several years on this very letterhead. Get off your butts and do something about this!

The signature on it was signed by John Winstead. What I want to know is what are you going to do about it. I forgot to include the P.O.Box 219134 in my first complaint.
But seriously with all these complaints what is being done to keep it from happening anymore. Quite obviously nothing otherwise people would'nt still be receiving them
correct? I am very upset with the fact that nothing is being done and I almost sent some money to the creeps. They must be well off by now with all the people they have gotten money from so far. Pathetic you need to get off your [censor] and put a stop to this and soon!

I recently got one from
North American Award Center
Prize Headquarters-Capital Reserve Vlll
1401 Armour Road
North Kansas City, Mo. 64116. For the sum 21, 000.00
They wanted $9.00. And solve a number puzzle.
But the address on the return envelope was different from
the address on the letter. That's what got my attention

I received my letter today. I actually looked up the company after I read the notification. Still thought I would send my 12.99 in just in case you all just weren't the winners. But I kept reading comments until I ran across PrincessKat's complaint; her letter has the exact # that mine has on it...which now I am sure this is a scam. We both can't be winners of the same prize if our numbers are the exact same...Scam alert! Ugh

I got one of those letters today, my husband was on his way out to get a money order when I looked up the address and the post office said not a address of business.. Too check address before sendING any mail. $11.89 with $3.00 RUSHED process fee. 2 million dollars over 30 year time or a Lil over a million.. scam, address is not a place for business. . I know it's just $11.89, but why bother.
Hey you want to give money away ... go fund me. Lol

I just want people to know that this scam is still going on! It is Sept. 6th, 2016 and my husband just received the same scam letter! Thankfully, I am on the internet every day and keep fairly well up to date on what is going on, thanks to social media. His letter had the same number on it as the picture posted by "Murret" back in January! #13570. They wanted $12.99 + $3.00 to rush delivery! Like who wouldn't want their money as soon as possible? It is crazy that a scam could go on for so long without some agency...State Investigators, or FBI...Somebody...putting a stop to them. Mr. Larry Hourd, if he even exists, should be locked away by now! Google maps can pin point the location where the checks are supposed to be delivered. So, how hard would it be to find whoever is collecting this money? And, once they have a check, do they do anything more nefarious? Do they take more money from the checking accounts once they have the routing and account numbers? Do they steal peoples identities? Or are they satisfied with the $11-16.00 that they get per person they scam? If they aren't branching out yet, I feel certain they will at some point tire of the nickels and dimes and go for the bigger payoffs they could probably get away with, since they seem to be getting away with this one since at least 2014!

Hello all,
I just got the same letter as others have reported here, from "Award notification commission PO Box 2905 KC, KS 66110" Authorized by "Larry Hourd Executor Of Awards" for a lump sum 1.3m lumpsum/ 2M 30yr annuity.
They want $12.99 processing fee (+ 3) for rush processing, within 7days. I already lost few days as I was late to open the letter.
Is this authentic? has anyone indeed got anything?

Thanks!

I also received the same letter asking for $12.99 .plus if I elected to a special rush processing just add $3.00 TOTAL OF $15.99 (perfect). WHY is this scam still getting into honest peoples pocket, his scam has been reported as far back as 2013. Don't steal a bag of cookies cause you could get life but if you scam people that's okay_ Why the law doesn't stop this ?

I haven't sent my 15.00 in yet and I am wondering if I should. The check says if my # matches the winning # I will receive a check for over 1 million, but is there a real winning # for my # to match or is this a scam? If it is a scam and there is NO winning # to match to, then wouldn't this be embezzelment ?

God bless anyone who does not check this first. I do wish that the person responsible for this would have his/her day. Again God bless all who fall.
