Landau Jewelry rose gold ring

Do not purchase this jewelry. I had a severe allergic reaction to a ring I purchased from them in less than 24 hours of wearing it. My ring finger is still peeling and literally has a red rash on it still after 2 weeks. I asked them for a refund and they said all sales are final even though its clear that whatever they are using is garbage metal. They do not stand behind their jewelry whatsoever. Im disgusted and out over 100 dollars.

Landau Jewelry bracelets

I have been a regular customer at this place but after dealing with the manager I will no longer be shopping here! I wanted to exchange my bracelets (XMas gifts) and she was working alone, I believe. I asked for some assistance 2 hours prior and said I'd be back. She turned her sign on and walked away locking everything up in my face! Poor customer service! I used to love shopping here but I will take my business else where.

Landau Jewelry return item-palmer hilton chicago

Hello...I returned a bracelet that broke in approx one month to the Palmer House in Chicago. Upon returning to my office I realized the clerk failed to put the item tag back in the box. I called repeatedly and got either disconnected number messages or busy signals. Not good customer service!

Don't EVER EVER EVER do business with this "organization". Never.

It's not the amount of money. It's integrity, principals. You have zero. To bad you special order a product and months later it is discontinued! But the policy states the consumer walks away with a product. Bull Sh_t!

Please be proud of yourself corporate scum. YOU NEVER NEVER give a refund. Never. I'm so happy you have a successful business being a bully to your customer. Reminds me of a loan shark or the mafia. You probably are associated with the mafia.

YOU pray off of people who think you do business like other trustworthy, reputable, and honest businesses.

Landau Jewelry scammers-not upfront about pricing or refund policy

Got scammed into buying a necklace. Told one price charged a higher price. Very high price necklace more than $400 for cheap silver plated fake diamond necklace. Price was not visible on necklace. Sales person was wearing the necklace and I liked it. She quoted a lower price then when I said I liked it she took it off and quickly rang it up. Asked me to fill out my email info. still no price was showing. When transaction was complete she told me about the warranty, but said NOTHING about the refund policy! Later the same day upon see the price on my bank acct went to ask for a refund and was told I could only do an exchange or get store credit. Talked to Lorraine in corporate who told me I could not get my money back as well. Had I know this from the beginning there would have been no way I would have purchased anything! I am retired and on a fixed income. There is no way I would buy something
this costly especially fake jewelry! I could have to Tiffany and get real jewelry for these prices. Should be against the law to sell fake jewelry for these prices! These people are real swindlers! They use high pressure sales tactics to reel you in. NEVER SHOP THERE...NEVER...DON'T DO IT! BE WARNED!

Lies, still- there was NO where to sign. This was a quick switch scheme! This was a debit transaction. No receipt to sign! The price I heard was $125. There was NO price tag on the this piece of jewelry so I could have been told anything. The sales ladies was wearing it! Who even know if it was brand new! When the sales person was confronted to ask about this transaction from my friend and I she admitted to saying one price and charging another. I was NOT told upfront about a return policy. The price of the transaction was NOT shown until the transaction was completed. At this time is was already too late to change anything because guess what...THERE IS NO REFUND. You people are running a shady operation. And that is the bottom line! Why would I what to exchange for more jewelry from this place when I didn't want the piece I had! Completely ludicrous! You people are shady! I stand by my complaint and have witnesses to prove it! Don't deal with this company! If could give you 0 stars or negative stars I would! Shady!

The information this consumer provided is not entirely correct. When she purchased the necklace she would have signed the receipt. The necklace was 50% off. I was confused as to how she did not know what the cost of the item was? When you pay by credit card you have to sign, and when you sign the total amount is printed above where you sign. The sales person charged the correct price, she could not charge any other amount than what she charged. If she had checked the receipt she would have clearly seen the cost and would have that opportunity to change her mind.

Landau does not return monies to a consumer if purchased at store level. This is company policy and it will never change. We can replace an item or give a store credit. Bottom line. The return exchange policy is right at the register. Also it is clearly written on all the receipts. If the consumer neglects to read either the receipt or notices that are posted then it is their error and not the stores.

Landau is not a fine jewelers, on the other hand Tiffany's is a fine jewelers. Landau sells costume jewelry and does not profess to sell other than costume jewelry.

Landau Jewelry mens 14k gold ring

I brought a mens 14k gold ring yesterday at Hollywood Casino St.Louis . The ring cost 644.00 . It was 80% off which stop me from a refund because your company don't allow a refund on item's sold at 75%. These items are considered final sales. I' didn't realize this until I got home and read at home my receipt . The sales person should have explained this to my before I purchase the ring. I was spending a lot of money and she was just concerned about making a sale. The ring was gold plated not 14 k gold. The sale person assured me that it was gold. I'm reporting you to the BBB and I will be filing a claim of fraud with my credit card company.

Landau Jewelry ring

Me and my Fiance bought a ring from the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas back in September 2016. It was 1/2 off and super beautiful. After a month one of the prongs broke. I emailed in and they replaced it. Now 4 months later (February 2017 ) i had to send it in again because it is pitted as they call in on the bottom. Hoping they will just give me my money back so i can go else where. I shouldn't have to send it in every few months to get a replacement. Although the lady i talked with both times is super nice and made things easy. Id rather just go get a ring somewhere that has better quality.

I'm going through the same thing. Bought a bracelet in Dec, 2016 in Vegas and I'm going on needing my FOURTH replacement in less than 3 months! Yes, the people are very nice and make it easy but this is ridiculous. I asked for my money back this time and they said yes but told me to send the bracelet back AGAIN. I told them that they needed to send me a prepaid label as I shouldn't have to keep spending on this bracelet when it's not my fault. The first one tarnished badly and lost a stone within the first 2 1/2 weeks and the the other 2 lost stones. Ridiculous. They sent me a prepaid label with no rebuttal.

Landau Jewelry ring

I was at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas the day after Thanksgiving/ also known as black friday visiting from Phoenix, when we walked by the Landau display. I specifically asked the sales agent if they had real gold and real diamonds, she pointed out 2 small section and stated this is the real pieces. After 30 minutes of looking at rings and getting the sale price, I decided on one. The sales rep stated the 80% off sales was going on for that black Friday only. After I decided on a ring and walked the few feet to the cash register, I asked her again, " just to be clear, this is real gold and real diamonds. She said yes". We bought the ring. We then walked across the street to Gold Coast Hotel to go the Fridays restaurant and was surprised to see another Landau counter, I stopped and asked do you have any real and real diamond pieces, at least the sales rep at this location was honest and said we don't sell real diamonds, we have the moissanite, which lab created man made jewelry. We went back and comforontef the sales girl and spoke with manager. We are still waiting to speak with the GM. TheY ARE COMMITING FRAUD. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Landau Jewelry a ring

Very, very disappointed with the service and treachery displayed by Landau Jewellery. My wife and I decided to get married in Las Vegas and saw the Landau Jewellery store at the Venetian. A ring my now wife liked very much was displayed at $3596.00USD and had been discounted to $777.46USD with tax. At first I thought this was too good to be true but we trusted Galina the sales person and were assured the ring was genuine and most importantly strong. This is what we needed because being an engagement ring my wife would rarely take it off. My wife was very specific on this as she has a lot of jewellery, mostly of a very high quality and she understands what constitutes an ‘everyday’ ring.
Over the past 6 months she has been able to wear the ring less and less due to the fragility of the band. It is showing scratch, pock and indentation marks from regular use. The band was advertised as Silveradium a metal combining Silver and Palladium and Galina told us it was ‘very strong’ taking the best parts of both metals.
When I tried to speak to customer service a woman, Vanessa, who only types in CAPS responded to my email and sent out a ‘repair’ envelope. After much back and forth and intermittent discussion with Landau and the Jewellery they were going to send the ring to. ‘Repair’ turned out to be ‘cleaning’ and if the ring was to be fixed it would be at my own expense of $400USD. When asked if they would meet me half way Vanessa responded ‘I UNFORTUNATELY AM NOT ABLE TO BE OF ANY FURTHER ASSISTANCE SINCE THIS IS A FINAL SALE ITEM, THE ONLY THING I AM ABLE TO PROVIDE IS THE ENVELOPE TO CUSTOMER’S. IT IS PART OF OUR POLICY AND PROCEDURES WHICH I MUST ABIDE BY AS WELL AS ALL OTHER LANDAU EMPLOYEES. ONCE A FINAL SALE ITEM IS PURCHASED IT IS THE CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF ANY REPAIRS THAT MIGHT BE NEEDED. I DO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.’
These people are pigs. Do not deal with them.

Landau Jewelry scam - misrepresentation

We just bought a ring from the Landau Jewelry Harrahs Reno location and spoke with the sales associate about the fact that I can not wear silver as I have a reaction to it. Took ring to jeweler to have it sized and was told that it is actually silver and not white gold. After several calls, they offered to special order a white gold ring for the additional cost of over $600.00! Why would I pay additional money for an item that I had already purchased. I have filed a complaint with my CC company and am hoping to get somewhere with that. They repeated the no returns policy and informed me that their sales person would have never told us that it was gold as all the items are silver. We had already turned down 3 other pieces since I couldn't wear silver. In no way would I ever purchase anything from this company again! They are scammers. The ring we purchased was over $900 and that was after 75% off.

Landau Jewelry not so golden ring

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased a ring from them at a supposed clearance price. Paid them 1100.00 for a ring that was sold to me as GOLD. I specifically asked her what the metal was. My husband and I both kept talking with the sales lady that with the price of gold per ounce, we could hardly go wrong. She kept telling us what a great deal it was to buy gold at that price, it seemed like a good buy at a clearance price. She wrote the ticket/rcpt up that it was a 14k gold ring...got home and after wearing it a few times I noticed that it was getting severely dinged and damaged right away. I closely inspected it and found with a magnifying glass that it was marked 925 14k. which means that it is sterling silver and only coated with white gold. I can also say that the coating is very thin as it wore off immediately. NEVER did the word silver or sterling come up while I was buying it. I am going to contact the corporate office but have my doubts that I will get anywhere. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM> THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Landau Jewelry fake advertizing

My Husband was told he was purchasing jewelry that was worth $684.00 @ 80% off that price. What he purchased was costume jewelry that was not even worth the $150.00 he spent. The store Associate out and out lied about the true value and he thought he was getting a really good deal. The receipt of course states very clearly that you can only receive a store credit and not a refund. This store should be put out of business for their deceptive ways of misleading the customer. We were told there is nothing that they will do except a store credit. Please stop their deceptive selling.

Landau Jewelry sapphire ring

A sapphire/gold/CZ ring was purchased by internet from the Las Vegas store of this company on 26 November 2010. Paid for with Mastercard. Amount, $472. Plus sales tax, when it reached Uk, £67. It was collected from the post office in UK on 23 December 2010. Having worn the ring for less than 1 week, the two CZ (Cubic Zirconia) stones fell out.
I contacted the retail dispute dept of the bank and they suggested I contact Landau direct. This I did today. The response I got was this.
"You must have caught the stone on something, and furthermore the 'Lifetime Guarantee' does not include the prongs"
If you read their web pages regarding the guarantee it does not exclude anything, it merely states Guarantee on it's pieces. If the prongs or claws are not pieces of the ring...what is?
Anyway, considering that I did nothing untoward to damage the ring, I hardly think that one week's wear is reasonable!
If you let me know your e.mail address I can send photographs of the ring.

Landau Jewelry disappointed!!

So my boyfriend and I just got engaged and he thought he was buying a very high end expensive ring. The truth to that is that it was an expensive ring. He paid $5200.00 for a 3 1/2 total karet diamond ring thats made of 14 karet white gold. The ring is beautiful but the next day after I was wearing it, it was already turning my finger green! So I was looking on the internet to see if a 14 karet gold could turn anyones finger green and I wanted to go to Landau website, so when I googled them I came across other people complaining about their jewlery. I just thought I would also put in my experience too. DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

The Hyman group requires its employees to work overtime and will not pay them. Keep in mind all employees in the stores are paid hourly, so yes this is illegal. This company is also so disgraceful they will not pay the commission earned. NEVER go to work this unprofessional and nasty company!

Landau Jewelry poor customer service

My son purchased a gift for me. Due to a serious illness in the family I was unable to return to the store to exchange the item for five weeks. I did not want to return the item, but wanted to exchange it for something that fit properly. The necklace purchased did not fit well and was extremely uncomfortable. The sales clerk was extremely rude and refused to make an exchange. She told me that even though my son paid full price he knew it was not returnable. Upon questioning him, he was totally unaware that it could not be exchanged and was very upset. I found the woman in the store to be very rude. I have been receiving mail and phone calls from this company repeatedly and have found it to be a nuisance. I called to request they no longer call my home, but continued to receive calls. Finally, tired of being frustrated I contacted Customer Service to complain. Her response to me was "well what do you want from us". Having worked in Customer Service I found her attitude astonishing. I proceeded to tell her that I found it unbelievable that as I was not looking for a refund, but an exchange that they were so difficult. Finally, she said if I "insisted" on complaining they would allow me to exchange it, but only for 50% of the value even though my son paid full price. I told her I felt that was unfair. She reacted by hanging up. I will never purchase another item from the company and think their practices need to be re-evaluated.
