Film producer actor Nasir Khan arrested in Balasore chit fund case

The Orissa Crime Branch police, probing into the multi-crore rupee Balasore Chit fund case, arrested film producer and actor Nasir Khan for his alleged involvement in the scam but Orissa High Court released him on a personal bond.

Inspector General (Crime Branch) Arun Kumar Ray said N Khan was arrested for interrogation in the chit fund case as crores of rupees collected from the business had been diverted for production of film 'Shadow' by the Great Entrainment from Eve industry and Fine inidisale companies in which Khan was one of the Directors.

Khan was not only the co-producer of the film but also acted as well in the said film.

Khan, sources said, had come to the Orissa High Court which was hearing the seizure of bank accounts of his companies in connection with the chit fund scam.

His counsel soon after the arrest of Khan intimated the Division bench comprising acting Chief Justice I M Quddusi and Justice Sanju Panda about the arrest of his client from the court premises by the Crime Branch.

The Crime Branch Police then at the direction of the Division bench produced Khan before the court, and after listening from the producer that he was picked up by the crime branch sleuths from the court premises, the bench ordered his release on a personal bond.

The bench further directed the Crime Branch that as long as the case was pending before the court, any person connected with the cases would not be arrested.

Police said about Rs 191 crore deposited and operated through SBI, ICICI, HDFC, Axis and some other banks in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata through the chit fund scam had been put under freeze.

Balasore Superintendent of Police Rekha Luhani said a major share to the tune of Rs 101 crore was with Fine indisale. The account Lui Brial Education Society, Dream Achiever, Trident Advertising and Trade, Eve industry, Money Mantra and Lakhsya India had also been put out of operation.

She further said the RBI had asked the banks to scrutinise the operations of other companies under observations since their transactions were suspicious. The companies under observation were Sea Shore, Super life, Gain Max, Drusti on line, Discovery and Trading Service Private Limited.

All these companies with intention of fraud had been carrying out their advertisement using the names of noted personalities in sports and film industry with the promise that they would give better returns to the investors.

Initially the case was registered with the Balasore police but later it was handed over to the Crime Branch considering the involvement of several organisations across the country.

Earlier, the Crime Branch police had arrested one Saroj Samanta, proprietor of Dream achiever, one among the companies involved in the scam.

The investigating agency also seized an account in a bank in Bhubaneswar operated by Samant.

So in that case all the companies are liable to answer the queries from Government especially Central Excise & Income Tax Dept... If the problems has been cleared in the sense then we can afford it...

Regarding Mahamantra the plan is as same as Magic Angel, but still we are not receiving any payouts from Magic Angel from Pune... And also one more example Iswaryam from T.N.(same 6 Months Concept)...
It is also a risk to take such companies which is having 6 Months concepts...

;since its customer reached more than 9 lakhs... So i think this is the freezing point for lakshya India

Im Krishna from Andhra Pradesh and I have invested 1, 60, 000 on August 2008 and I have Benfited 6, 40, 000 till now. Who ever says that this is a scam is a true fraud. They are using Internet as a medium to pass negative commens about LakshyaIndia.

I think this person who complent about lakshya india is his personal problems. Because I was invested 20, 000 Rs & get pay out regularly till date i recevied about 2 Lac Rs. I am complety disagree with this person. And Second thing is some people are julas with this compay because of the they are not geting costumers for there compay, May be this person also same.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE.: In bollywood they are producing films and TV serials also which yields high returns as you know very much...

I am sure that the Lakshya is trading the Investors money and make the profit upto 20 Crores and they provide only 5% of the their profits... I am thinking that it is a Small Profit from them, they should provide atleat 20% of their profits it means 3 to 4 crores they should give to investors...

This is sundeep frm Indore. i have invested Rs. 5000(feb)+40000(in mar) in this comp..and am getin proper money frm them till now, including this month. They r doing business so possible, there could be some problem.well. comp. has to pay me 8586+7344 by this month. am just waiting..lets see if i'll get surly will update my comment here...GOOD LUCK. i'll be happy if i'll get 10-15% more then i have invested in a year..i don want huge profit!

Yes. This company is cheating. For this one and a half years they got enough money invested. From this June month they started their cheating. Many of the customers do not get their payment yet including me and when asked in the company there is no proper response. They are saying that there is some problem going on in the company and the payouts will be payed soon, but they do not mention when. Anyway, some problem is started in the company now and it is not good to invest in the company. My investment is only 5000 so that it is ok, but I want to caution the new investors not to invest for their safety. Please be aware...
