24hrs of no access by phone, media, websute
Tried placing an order by phone over a 48 hour period. Unsuccessful 23/24 November.
Eventually, window opened up on website and order placed but could not access full facilities ie choose my delivery as a member.
Money has been taken but no acknowledgment received.

Have still been unable to contact anyone to clarify situation.

My complaint is not about their service, even though it can be related to it. Speaking of their wine... Well, I tasted much better, can't say it tastes like expensive wine, not at all.
The problem is that if you once give them your information, they will sell it to other wine clubs and you'll start getting their emails with their offers you're not interested in. My inbox is overwhelmed by those emails. Please, stop spamming me. Maybe, this website will open your eyes and you will hear me. Because your customer service is unable to unsubscribe me from this crap.
Bad experience with Laithwaites Wine
I've ordered a bottle of wine from www.laithwaiteswine.com and it did not arrive. When I contacted customer service they gave me nothing but empty promises! So I asked them to cancel my membership and they said ok.
Several months later I finally received the bottle.
I went to their website and found out that they never cancelled my account! Terrible service!
Yes, I did receive my order months later but I don't want to buy anything from these clowns in the future. Asked them to cancel my account and I really hope that this time they will do that.

I didn’t know what to do with the wine; therefore I asked the seller if it was possible to return these bottles. The seller told me “yes”, but after some time he refused to take the bottles back. I don’t understand the reaction of the seller and I want to get rid of this wine.
