LabCorp employee 4350 e ray rd ste 125. phoenix, az 85044

The man "Tam" at the front desk was very rude. He snatched a map and address out of my hand. Tam accused me of wasting his time because i asked politely how long had the system been down. I had to go over to the other side of town to do a UA and Tam was very insensitive about the situation. I only suggested that he reboot his computer and he snapped at me. I am a professional and I feel it is necessary to treat clients like people. I was treated very unfair and should not have had to wait 20 minutes for a lab technician to get me a supervisors number or some type of contact info to complain about the service I received at the front desk. I would have thought that I would have least been greeted when I walked in, instead I was made to wait while "Tam" answered his smartphone and handled personal matter. tam also stated that I was a being a problem.

LabCorp restroom facilities and general lack of respect towards clients

On Oct 22, 2018 my Mother was at LabCorp - 929 N Spring Garden DeLand. it was necessary to provide a urine sample. She is disabled and very weak, she was not able to stand from the toilet, due to the height and no grab bars! This restroom does not have the proper height handicapped toilet, nor do they have the proper grab bars. The employees claim they are not permitted to assist! Well something needs to be addressed! Either equip the restrooms properly or employees must assist the client! I am also reporting to the State of Florida and Volusia County Health Department! The employees that work at this Lab are the most obnoxious techs I've ever encountered! If you are in a healthcare position, you need to be more compassionate and show some empathy and respect for these clients!

LabCorp service with improper medical code

I have sent Labcorp numerous times asking them to correct their code. My primary doctor (Country Doctor Clinic) initially used the incorrect code and later changed it after I wrote a letter to them. Later I sent a copy of the new invoice from my primary clinic to Labcorp and asked Labcorp to contact my clinic so that I can get my insurance to pay for the services. labcorp did not care, because I never got any feedback. They were supposed to use preventive Care medical Code. This was 06/2017 and now I went to Labcorp this year and getting the same miscoding done (09/2018). I need for this to stop. It is very frustrating and the patient should not have to pay for services due to miscoding, regardless if the initial code was given to them incorrectly. If the referred clinic changes their code then labcorp should be communicating with the clinic because the patient thinks otherwise; At least have their doctor to explain the coding and why.

LabCorp not providing the results of my tests to my doctor

Birmingham Lab Corp refuses to send the results of my blood tests to my specialist. They will send to my primary when my primary orders a test, but when my specialist orders the test, they make me come to the office where I had the tests done and pick up the results to take to my doctor. This is not only an inconvenience for me, but does not appear to be an appropriate response on their part. When the nurse at my specialist's office tries to contact them for the results, they refuse to give them to her after making her sit on hold for up to 3 hours, as well. She does not have that kind of time to wait for an answer, therefore Birmingham will fax the results to my local LabCorp office in Ocean Springs, MS and I have to physically pick them up and take them to my doctor. This is difficult for me because I am elderly.

LabCorp service @ 1541 florida ave. suite102, modesto, ca

My wife and I went to the above site for blood work. 10/5/18 @ 10:30. No (0) patient was there. Christy(Lab Tech?)sat in front desk, murmured something to us. I asked her to repeat . She raised her voice almost to yelling"I just told you". I tried to register with machine, did not work. She became very [protected]@ me, walked up to machine, tried to make machine work, trouble too. She became even angrier.
As a physician practicing 39 years in Modesto, and lecturing @ community centers and schools on how to choose good doctors and other healthcare workers. I realize it was important to avoid angry healthcare workers. We decided to walk out and went across hallway to have tests done @ Q diagnostics. 18 patients waiting. They treated me with respect and professional manners, had blood drawn in 5 minutes. What a difference.
Two questions for you
1. Is this a routine practice in LabCorp?
2. What should I tell people which lab to go to when asked?
I always tell my audience avoiding angry healthcare workers, because they could do crazy things to hurt you, such as using dirty needle to draw your blood or switch your specimen to frame you etc. Patients have choice, walk out and go somewhere else for care . Your thought please!
I have to address this issue to the headquarter, because the local rep always tried to be nice persons.

Along with understaffed office and what appears to be lab techs with no customer service skills the labs they provide are many time false positive or false negative so who in the heck is working in the labs. I have had to have numerous tests redone because of inaccurate results. I am still waiting for a blood culture for almost 2 weeks. So again who is evening working at LabCorp. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever.

LabCorp 12th ave, pensacola lap draw

It's ridiculous to have 2 wait for the front desk person to take over 25 minutes after receiving my paperwork to put it in for my blood work to be drawn. Another type of system needs 2 happen so that when she needs 2 enter whatever she needs to enter can be done in a timely matter without be interrupted so many times. It's easier to tell u by phone.

LabCorp drug test/staff services

I was provided with misinformation regarding a drug test that I personally paid For. I drove 15 miles to get to the office, Wasted an hour and a 1/2 of my Saturday and lost $50 because Of the employee, Quentin Clemmons, at the N. Elm street Greensboro, NC location. My test had to be completed by today and was not informed that I had to fill a cup w urine for him to send sample out. Need I mention I have NEVER had to send that much urine for any drug test in my life and have had a lot of them. The center closed at 12:00 and I called before I went, not once was I told to make sure I drink enough water as I will need a large sample and it was not possible for me to stay longer to try for more. I spent MY money and believe it's MY Choice if I wanted to take the chance the lab wouldn't accept a smaller half cup amount because I would be out of the money and was aware of that before I were to take test. BUT HE REFUSED to send it in at all meaning I wasted $50, time and gas all for nothing. Then I asked for his and Managers na
E along with a phone number to complain. He REFUSED to give me that information and after I asked 3 times he FINALLY gave it to me. I would need a return call about this issue, if I don't I will contact corporate if needed and make sure I leave a very negative review.

My appt date was 9/22/18 at 10:15am. Upon my arrival at 10:05am I noticed a moble checking in station. Since I've never been to that particular LabCorp 47 Kent rd in Howell Nj or any labcorp in years. I wasn't aware of how to use their new checking system. So I was confused and asked if I can manually check in. The front desk person responded that I...

LabCorp labcorp on 1724 amherst street winchester va

Friday, September 14 was my second visit to this Lab Corp location. My first visit was not a pleasant one, however, this visit on Friday, Sept 14 was terrible! I am on my lunch hour and walked in to the Lab Corp. There was no one at the reception desk. There was a lady struggling to register with no one at the desk to assist her. WE were the only 2 patients there at that time. (not that the gals working at the desk were helpful or friendly, when they finally did show up). Eventually, one lady appeared at the desk. The second lady appeared, her name (Janice). Janice calls me to the desk and ask for my paperwork. I asked her how long it would be as I am on my lunch hour. She said she had to enter my labs in the computer. (granted, I had already been there for at least 15 minutes before I got called to the desk). I sat down and waited and this man goes to the desk and proceeds to chit chat with Janice. Then the other lady working for Lab Corp opens up the door, (as she had taken the other lady back to get her labs) yelling JJ come here. Now both employees are in the one room with the other patient who arrived before me, however, I was completely checked in and ready but this lady got taken care of first. Janice calls me to the desk again to ask me my phone number. I again ask how much longer it would be. Janice told me she still had to enter my labs in to the computer. The other lady who works for Lab Corp was sitting there and she said to Janice, Wow, we have filled up 3 pages already of patients. We are so busy. This lady was not friendly at all. Neither of the employees smiled. I had to leave and I will have to return there to get my lab work done as this lab participates with my insurance. As I stated, this was my second visit to this location and neither visit was pleasant. Your employees need to be reminded that if it was not for patients, they would not have jobs. I have worked in healthcare for over 23 years. I take pride in job and treat my patients like they are family. The two gals working at Lab Corp on Sept 14 need to brush up on their customer service skills. As far as I am concerned, they have absolutely no customer service skills. IF this issue is not handled appropriately by Lab Corp, I will go to a higher level to file another complaint. Please teach your employees to behave in a professional manner and treat their patients like a human being deserves to be treated.

LabCorp results

I was originally tested last December and I was found to have Factor V Leiden Mutation (which can cause excessive clotting); however, a few weeks ago I checked the same test results and the Factor V information is missing. I have contacted them four times now and never get an answer. They say things like " It showed you viewed your results" or "a paper copy will be mailed to you" neither of which answers my question as to why part of my results are missing. I know this is true because I printed a copy of the initial results. It seems no one really reads the questions which are submitted.

LabCorp blood drawn.

I came in for my blood to be drawn today. I was first seen by a woman in green scrubs with orange hair who looked older maybe in her 50s-60s. She began the process of drawing my blood with one glove on. I didn't want to ask her why she wasn't wearing gloves on both hands since she was going to put a needle in my arm which isn't a particularly comfortable situation. She attempted to find my vein once in each arm and was unable to. Both attempts she was only wearing one glove. After her two attempts a younger woman in dark blue scrubs came in and completed the process. She was wearing gloves on both hands and was an excellent phlebotomist. When we asked her why the woman previously was only wearing one glove she commented that she was someone from off site that she didn't even know. This situation is significantly unsettling and has caused me a decent amount of anxiety. People drawing blood should follow proper PPE protocol and should always be wearing gloves when performing any type of interaction with broken skin.

LabCorp treatment of patients

I was seen as a patient at the location 506 Graham Dr, Suite 260, Tomball, TX 77375
I was treated with extreme disrespect and rudeness by the staff. I observed a fellow patient getting the same treatment. I am also a nurse practitioner that works in the same building and get frequent complaints from patients about this location.
The staff is a problem and needs to be addressed or retrained on treating patients with respect.

LabCorp phlebotomist

I had blood work completed at the Ogletown-Stanton Rd. Newark DE site on August 20 2018. I have come to this location for many years...no issues. First the tech was late to work and appeared to be mad with the world... no hello good morning nothing. She preceded and drew blood from my cephalic vein on my left arm! I have great veins she did not touch my median. I am still bruised and have taken photos of this horrible journey (my arm). I do not know where she was trained but with no people skills she needs to be removed from that position. Being a health provider and having direct contact with people requires a special skill set none of which she had.

LabCorp pre employment drug screening

8/14/2018
specimen # [protected]
I arrived at the labcorp in question on this day a little after 12:30pm. I went to the window. The lady there instructed me to go back to door to look at times that drug screens were done. I went back up to window and apologized. There was only 1 other couple in lobby at this point. I explained to her that I was staying in Wilmington NC. She told me I could go to that Labcorp or come back later. I said well I would come back at 1:30pm. She said well come back a little early so that you can check in at kiosk and turn in your paperwork and be registered. I went to lunch to returned back a little after 1pm. I signed in at kiosk. The same lady took my order from the hospital for drug screening and my drivers license. I sat and she called me back up to sign paperwork. She instructed me to have a seat again that someone would be with me in a moment. A lady came through door and called me back. I was the only patient there at this point. The lady that called me back and the lady at front desk appeared to be the only employees there. They were focused on talking about their lunch plans. She brought me to exam room. She instructed me to sign 2 sheets of paperwork that she had already signed. One was for me and one was for them. I did this. She instructed me to leave pocketbook there and asked if I had anything in my pockets. I did not. She then handed me a open specimen container. She walked me to the bathroom that was next to exam room. She looked in the toilet but did not put anything into it. When I looked it appeared to be just clear toilet water. There was nothing else in the bathroom other then the sink, toilet, mirror, trash can and paper towel dispenser. She instructed me not to flush the toilet or wash my hands. I grabbed some paper towels to sit on the back lid of commode to sit my sample on once complete. I filled the urine container closed the lid and sat it on the paper towels. I wiped my hands on some additional paper towels and stepped out and asked the lady what she would like me to do with the container. She told me to set it on the counter in exam room. By this point the lady at the front desk had left to get there lunch. It appeared to be only me and this person. She instructed me to wash my hands. My drug test was still on counter on the paper towels that I had set it on. She left the room and went up to front desk and had a seat. I gathered my pocket book and stepped into hallway bc she said I was done. I realized I had left my copy of the document that I had signed so I went back into the exam room and gathered that. My sample was still sitting on the counter. Nothing had been put on it to say that it was mine and it had not been sealed. I asked the tech who was still sitting at the front window a few questions and she told me I would be contacted by the lab if there was any questions. 2 days later I was contacted by a physician assistant line [protected] #3. I spoke with the PA who asked me for a list of all my medications and about my health history. I asked if there was a problem. She stated that lab said my sample had abnormal physical characteristics and smelled of bleach. She asked me if I had tampered with it. I told her no. I had no reason to. I have been back and forth between the hospital, the supervisor Sandy over labcorp and now another facility where this sample was sent to possibly be tested. I have asked for copies of all documentation from what Sandy and I have discussed. She told me that it sounded as if procedures had not been followed and hospital should allow me to retest. She also told me she would call and tell them this. She called and spoke to Melissa Longo but only told her that she was investigating. I know I did what the labcorp person told me. I know I left a normal drug screening sample on that counter that was not properly sealed or secured. I do not know what happened to it after i was instructed that I was done. Now no one will return my calls. I need this issue resolved. I should have immediately been called to retest if there was a problem. I need to speak with someone who will take this matter seriously. I would just also like to add that I went to another drug testing facility within 1 week and had them run another 10 panel standard during drug screen on me which came back negative as I knew it would.

LabCorp technician

Today, I visited the LabCorp in Woodstock, GA. I had a terrible experience. To start off with the wait was extremely slow and then once I was finally sent back to have my blood drawn the technician was extremely rude and unprofessional! I was there with my baby and this employee had the nerve to call my baby spoiled and extremely fat! Not once but twice! Yes you read that right! Who does that?! I was so infuriated and will NEVER go back!

I visited Labcorp in Liverpool, NY. My physician submitted an electronic requisition and the phlebotomist pulled up and read the incorrect requisition. LabCorp routine blood work-up at oviedo, florida labcorp clinic on 7-6-18

I had blood drawn for my family doctor's review at the Oviedo, Florida Clinic at approx. 8AM on Aug 6th. The technician was hostile to me from the beginning. I requested the blood be drawn from my right arm, and was told that it didn't make any difference as it was only a needle. I insisted, saying that I'm left-handed and there has never been a problem drawing from my right arm. The tech replied: "well I might have to use the left arm." So, I showed my right arm vein which stood up nicely, and she said: "it's not what you can see, but what I can feel." And it was said in a surly manner. She drew the blood quickly and roughly and said: "you can go now." After I got home the bruising she caused appeared at the site and got worse over the next couple of days. I'm providing a photo of the bruising. I couldn't see the tech's name because she put a paper lab coat on before the procedure started. I was very disappointed in this service and can't believe that LabCorp would find this acceptable. I've used this particular clinic for over 10 years. My husband John overheard the entire exchange and was very upset with the tech's attitude. He told me that he will refuse service from her if she's there when he goes in for his work-up.

LabCorp office visit

The place is small, attention is mediocre at best, servicing is extremely and frustratingly slow.
A new digital "check in" system was intalled using a tablet device, which are slow and often do mot work altogether. Because of the size of the waiting area and the amount of people awaiting to be serviced, people have to wait outside by the hallway. Third world country.

LabCorp lab visit to fanwood new jersey site.

I have been having my lab work done at LabCorp, Fanwood, N.J. office for many years. On Saturday, 4 August, I brought my script to the office and was told to sign in at one of 3 kiosk's. There was no information or assistance for my first time use of this procedure over past practices. The kiosk is not customer friendly. The touch screen does not always record when touched. My secondary insurance is Tri-Care Plus for Life and it was not a choice and had to be written in from a key board touch screen which did not always record the touch. Since I am a long time, regular patient, I think your kiosk should just verify the insurance card and then pick up all the information from your data base. This kiosk system takes more time then having receptionist access information and is particularly not friendly to older patients not familiar with using a computer and backs up registering in a busy office. Some computers, like WOW have a voice responsive feature instead of typing in or touching a screen.
