LabCorp blood drawing

Good Day;

On Monday, 5/22/2017, my spouse was directed by her primary physician to proceed to lab corp for blood and urinalysis which is just about a yearly affair. The gentleman who drew the blood for testing seemed to be in a hurried state with a seemingly uncaring attitude. This person should not be dealing with the public let alone drawing blood. He made a mess of my spouses left arm which left her with pain and a considerable amount of bleeding which took forever to control, photo attached.

The lab is located on south service road of Sunrise Highway in Sayville, New York. My spouse has had blood work done at this lab in the past and never before experienced what she did on this visit. This gentleman should be either retrained or dismissed from his current duties before legal issues arise.

Thank you,
Peter N. J. Deere

LabCorp walk in service for employment screenings.

I have been sitting in a waiting room for twenty minutes in a room with 13 other patients. They were all here before I signed in. In the twenty minutes, no one paid any attention to the people waiting and no one was called. One employee left and the other was not working. Then she returned 10 minutes later and still did not take any one as I waited another twenty minutes. Unacceptable, rate is one patient per 30 minutes or more. This cannot happen if services are advertised and done on an appointment or walk in basis. Both technicians must work. And move faster than 30-40 minutes for appointments that take 5 minutes or less. Absolutely ridiculous. Now 40 minutes later. One patient was tended to.

LabCorp drug screen

I called the location in Prince Fredrick, MD to see when the drug screens were done on Friday. The recording stated from 7am to 3pm. When I arrived at 6:45am there was a sign printed off a printer taped to the door. This homemade sign stated drug screens were from 8am - 3pm. When I let the employee know she rudely told me it was at 8am. I explained that I called and asked who I could speak to as everyone is getting the wrong information. She then told me there was no one I could speak to at this time. So, I rearranged my husband's schedule to get our son on the bus; drank lots of water to prepare for the test; and now I sit here waiting for an hour hoping I don't urinate on myself! Thank you labcorp for horrible customer service today.

LabCorp abilene, texas office is understaffed

My May 4, 2017, 9:30 appointment turned into a two hour wait. Why? This office is grossly understaffed. There is only ONE person in the entire building to do everything. LabCorp should be ashamed this office is not adequately staffed.
The technician is in no way responsible. She is wonderful and very professional despite having no one else in the building attending to patients. I have never had more than a few minutes wait with LabCorp and this day it was over two hours?
The technician said it is like this everyday. My husband had the same experience less than a month ago with the same office.
People have jobs. No one should have to wait so long for a less than five minute blood test.
No one can make me believe LabCorp has a decent excuse for understaffing an office. Shame on you LabCorp. I will be sharing my experience and the other seven, or maybe eight, people waiting that day will be, too. Awful. Awful. Awful.

LabCorp unsanitary practices

I received services at 1760 Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, Arizona. There was one staff member on duty. The wait was quite long, as she needed to manage checking in, paperwork and drawing blood. If that wasn't enough for the patients to put up with, she DID NOT wash her hands or put on gloves before drawing blood. She had been touching her computer, peoples drivers licenses, credit cards, money, etc. I had to ask her to alcohol swab the spot on my arm she was aiming for. I can only hope that I don't get an infection. If so, you can be sure your company will be hearing from my lawyer.

LabCorp employee

To whom this may concern. My name is Ashley Wilson and I can be reached at [protected]. I was treated so badly by one of your employees over a parking spot. So badly that if I did ever need services from you all I would question weather or not to accept. I was called obscene names and threatened in front of my 9 year old daughter. Chicago is a big city and there are no assigned parking to anyone. If some makes it to a parking spot first then they just do. A parking spot is no reason to be come irate. However I'm sure in the future you wouldn't want your employees embrassing your company in this manner so I took down a liscene plate number which the first 3 numbers are 5v1 not sure if that is the exact order but the last four are 5212. This happened in the 500 block of West Taylor Street Chicago, Illinois. I can give brief description of driver as well.

LabCorp staffing

I have been to two different locations this past year. I switched locations in hope the service would have more staff! At both locations the had only one staff member checking people in and then providing the service! No excuse to why only one person is on staff. My gosh, you only have people who have been fasting and want to have their blood drawn and EAT. I suppose since it saves the company money, the discomfort of the customer does make a difference! Unbelievable! I am very disappoint with this company. I feel sorry for the staff members. I'm sure the are over worked and under paid. The staff was very professional and knowledgable at both locations.

LabCorp customer service

I dropped off a lab test slip for pre-op blood test at 1505 St. Alphonsus Way Alamo, CA office. My doctor for some reason forgot to write done my name on the slip but marked the tests correctly. Alter spending over 25 mins, she was not able to get a hold of my doctor. I offered to returned at a different time and asked the lab slip back. She refused without giving a reason and closed the window abruptly before I could finish my question. She even asked me to "get away from my window" when I demanded the lab slip back.

LabCorp staffing

I made an appointment the day before for 11am. I arrived at 9:50 am in the hope they would see me earlier. They only have one person at the desk and one drawing blood. It's now 1:04 pm and I am still waiting. Four different patients had 11am appointments. They appear to just be calling in people at random. The two ladies here are polite and doing their best, but they shouldn't be put in a position to service such a large group of patients by themselves.

LabCorp labcorp millersville rd bowie maryland.

The worse customer service ever. In addition for the 3rd year in a row they the person who registered us put in the wrong insurance info not once but every year for 3 years. This causes us to receive bills. This year i spent 40 minutes on the phone to make the correction. It makes no sense. They have your insurance card in hand and make a copy for there records so why can't the person registering put the info in correctly. This is a hug inconvenience abd because of this I really hate using Labcorp. We are not the only ones with this complaint. Next year I will use Quest lab.

LabCorp lab/blood work

At the Labcorp location: 3430 Newburg Rd Ste 110 Louisville, KY 40218. Took our 2 year old daughter for her thyroid level labs. After about 10 days I call specialist to see if they had received the results yet. The next day I get a call from the specialist telling me that labcorp had run the wrong lab. She verified with them that the order they got was right but labcorp had messed up. Instead of running lab for thyroid levels they ran it for testosterone levels. Because of labcorps negligence, we now have to put our daughter through more pain to get another blood sample. I hate that we have to do this every 4 months but twice in less than one month should never happen.

LabCorp horrible service at 1145 19th st washington dc

This place is horrible! The women you have hired here have the worst bedside manner. All they want to do is collect a paycheck. They were mean, rude! Called me in then made me wait for another 20+ minutes and there were only three other people in the waiting room and I had an appointment.

I cannot believe that labcorp could drop their standards so low! Couldn't they hire people who give a damn!

I even fell asleep in the chair waiting for someone to take me. I have had to have my blood taken before but never had so bad of an experience. While taking my blood the disposition was cold, mean, distant, heartless. When I try to speak to the lady who even drew my blood, she didn't even act like she was paying attention to what I was saying. I had to ask her if she heard what I was saying.

They need to get brand new staff. Horrible. Horrible! Do yourself a favor and go some place else!

I agree. The rude bedside manner must be a Labcorp pre-requisite for employment. On 4/14/17 I had blood drawn for my annual checkup. The location was Margot Perot Building, Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas TX. The woman I encountered at the check-in window was abrasive from the first words out of her mouth. After rudely asking a few questions, I sat down. She immediately called across the room to me " I need you to come back here!". I didn't even realize she was talking to me. From that point she instructed me to go to Rm.1 where to my dismay she was the one to draw blood. Not only did she remain rude and abrasive but the injection was more painful than I had ever experienced in previous years. Immediately a huge, hard black knot surfaced on my arm. Five days later, my arm bruising is painful and looks worse than if I were taking blood thinners and had been in a traumatic accident. When I left, went down the building elevator and started to exit building, I saw a woman who had been in the waiting room area. I asked if she had been treated so rudely. She said that luckily the second employee helped her BUT she saw how the woman I encountered talked to me. This was a horrible experience and sadly will be most likely repeated at this location.

LabCorp poor staffing levels

This is my second attempt to draw blood at the location in cypress road in plantation florida. Again there was only one person to draw blood. The wait time was hours. What the hell is going on labcorp? I was told it would remain like this. Will be bringing this to my senior executives contact at United healthcare. This is diplorable. You have ill people waiting four hours to get blood drawn. Disgraceful!

LabCorp attitude of labcorp worker

I was just at Labcorp location 4623 Ogletown Rd. Newark, De. 19713, and the woman who called my name to get my info was so rude! First of all, I was only there for a urinalysis, and waited over an hour. Then when I sat down, this woman, Jamella is her name, says nothing to me, but instead looks at me with attitude and shruggs her shoulders as if to ask what I want. I said I'm here for a Urinalysis, again another shoulder shrug...she treated me like I peed in her cereal this morning. People shouldn't have jobs in labs and clinics if they are such asaholes to others. It was the worst Labcorp experience I've ever had

LabCorp blood withdrawal

On March 29th I took my 7 month old to get some labs done they took us back and got everything ready to draw blood little did I know the hell we were going to go through. Well the first older Hispanic Lady comes I didn't even get her name because when I left I was so upset. She wraps babies arm and sticks the needle in, she keeps grinding in and out she wasn't even being gentle meanwhile baby is crying in pain. She does about 25 times until I ask her to stop and get someone else so she does. Then makes a comment "you better get use to this she's going to have blood drawn alot if she has allergies" no parent wants to hear that. Younger Lady comes in does other arm and gets a vein she can't get it to flow keeps trying and still nothing baby starts gagging and throws up. She stops and then tells me I need to go to hospital since they don't carry smaller needles for smaller babies. This is what upsets me the most they new from the beginning it wasn't going the happen but they put baby through all that pain. I grab my baby and leave waited a few days to take her to hospital lab since she's all bruised up from what lab corb did to her this is unacceptable. Also at the hospital they told me she was really tiny and could only draw 6ml of blood where at lab Corp they wanted to get 2 whole tubs. This makes me think they aren't even educated and scares me my baby would have been so week if she had blood drawn that day. Needles to say this place shouldn't specialise in baby department.

LabCorp customer service

The ladies in the front window are rude, it takes hours for them to assist you at the window, they don't even greet patient at the window, they make jokes and talk between them which makes their job slower, i personally witness a very sad situation, they all laughed at a spanish speaking patient who didnt know how to pronounce a word in english. I felt disgusted by the Labcorp workers. When you ask them any questions they don't even look at you in the eyes. Over all the service you get at the front window is pathetic.

LabCorp customer service

On Sat., 3/18/17, I visited LabCorp in Freehold, NJ. There were many people waiting, which is typical. But what was not typical, and unnecessary, was that they checked many people in at one time, them lined us all up to wait standing in a hallway for about 30 min, rather than having us wait, seated. I have a knee injury, and I questioned this new procedure. "This is the way we do it" the woman said. But I've been there many times, and that is never the way they've done it before. While I was waiting, someone came in from outside and said that a woman on oxygen, who had just left LabCorp, fell in the parking lot. Their response to checking in on her was slow and uncaring. The people working there are callous, rude, and selfish. They have no patience for their patients. I was disgusted by their lack of professionalism and respect for their patients
