My name is LaToya and I am writing to you with a concern of mine. On Easter I went to the House of Pancakes located on Arroyo Pkwy in Pasadena, CA. I was with a party of 30. We were seated in a timely fashion. However, the problem arose after we were seated. To start off there was only one server for my whole party. Secondly, the server primary language was not English and there was great difficulty placing an order. Once the order was placed it took approximately one hour before server returned with our orders. Only the server did not bring everyone’s order. At least half of our party did not get served. By the time the server realized that he made a mistake, he rushed to the back to get our order. When he brought some of the orders they were cold. In addition to this, three of the people, including myself, only received part of my meal (until I got ready to pay for my meal, then the remainder of my meal came). I talked to the manager and told him about the problem he insured me he would take care of the situation. However, he did not. He compensated me for a cup of coffee and stated he would have removed the other items because they (the orders) came out when they did.
Going to the house of Pancake on Easter has been a nine year tradition. Each year I go to I.H.O.P. I have a problem with service. I will not longer be able to continue this tradition if this issue is not resolved. I would greatly appreciate it if you can resolve this issue and contact me with a resolution.
