This so called attorney listens to your case builds you up and convinces you that he can win money for you and stop unfair collection procedures. He barely follows up with you and even switched firms in the middle of my lawsuit. I only noticed and inquired about the change of firms after being contacted by a new paralegal working for him who left the name of a totally different firm. When I asked him who this person was he proceeded to inform me that his firm was taken over by a larger firm and that was his new assistant. After 4 months of phone calls, emails, and faxing proof of the unfair collection practices Dennis the D*ckhead wasn't even man enough to speak to me on the phone. He sent an email and a letter stating that his new firm told him to back off and that the collection agency was only willing to pay $1000.00. OK why didn't I get that money for all of my aggravation and harassment? Because he and his new firm kept it to prove just how slimy a ### he is and how after all his years of law school he still takes orders and doesn't know ###! My advice if you come across this dude...RUN AWAY!
PS...after he tells you via email that he collected money he no longer answers or returns your phone calls. He is located in Manhattan!

I can FULLY relate to this persons complaint. Mr. Kurz handled a Breach of Warranty case for me and without any notice whatsoever, he terminated his employment with the firm with zero notice to me ~ EVER. I only found out that he left the firm AFTER my case was ruled on and it came to light in the courtroom that Mr. Kurz had leaked confidential and patently false information to a person friendly with the defense counsel, who in turn, sent it to...yep, you guessed it, the defense counsel. That blatantly false e-mail was entered into evidence and swayed the judge so greatly that he ended up giving my previous settlement awards of $16, 500 (which were being held in the court registry) to the opposing counsels. After leaving the courtroom in complete shock, I asked his previous firm to assist me in reaching out to Mr. Kurz regarding his sabotaging of my case. They agreed and two certified letters were sent out requesting his response as to WHY he did such a thing and for him to self report his actions to the Bar Associations. To date, since October of last year, he has yet to respond in ANY way. If you are care about loyalty or client confidentiality or understand fiduciary duties, then I would advise you to look elsewhere for your representation.
I can't explain how great Dennis Kurz was to us and our son, in which we have just won custody of on 7/23/2013. And still have contempt chargers following in which I have no doubt Dennis Kurz will win this too! Dennis is such a great attorney, In fact he made us feel like we was one of his family members and not just a client that he was going through the motions and collecting attorney fees. My husband and I became very comfortable in spite of us knowing that everybody says they are the best in their field. We was comfortable and at ease with Dennis Kurz. This is not our first rodeo either. Dennis Kurz displayed positive energy to us at all times and would let us know what our option were also. Dennis Kurz kept us updated on everything as we did the same. You become a team. He did not make promise he could not keep thus far. Dennis Kurz would let you know exactly what his goals are going forth with your case and primarily what could possibley happen. He always had a soultion to what ever could or could'nt happen. But more importantly he will listen to what you want and this was the key for me. This was the most impressive thing that I admire about about Dennis Kurz. He shows that he works for you and not do what's easy for him as some attorney may do. We have expreince that. I would like to say if you are looking for a go getter, positive, aggressive, punctual, imformative and at the same time so professional! Dennis Kurz is the attorney you want in your corner, hands down! I gurantee it!

i have been a client of W&M for over 8 years. They have settled every case except one. Dennis was my designated atty and handle my cases efficiently, effectively and ALWAYS answered my emails and phone calls promptly as did anyone in their office. When Kurz switched firms he respectfully brought your case with him to the well known firm W&M, he was under no obligation to do so. Holding Kurz responsible for another persons action is ridiculous and unreasonable. Apparently once he was settled in his new office and conferred with his associates, they felt it was best Kurz not bring this case to their firm which he notified you via mail and email. If he didn't handle your case there was no way he could have kept the money you can verify that on Pacer. Sickofthebull you are an angry ###tard, pissed off at the world whining about 1, 000 bucks which is nothing. Dust off your skid mark skivvies and be a big boy about this.
I have used them several times and, as a matter of fact, just received $1, 000 for a suit that they handled for me. I have nothing but good things to say about them. It took a while to get the money, but hey, you didn't have that money anyway. So why are you crying? If they can't win a case, there is nothing that can be done. But my experience has been very positive.
IF this is true then why are they in the BBB with an A grade.. Why haven't you filed your complaint with the BBB? I didn't see your complain there...
