Do not apply for a position with this company. Their job postings (on career builder.com or monster.com for example) are false. Anyone looking for a solid career with opportunity to advance should stay away from this company. I drove over an hour to their main office for an interview that had nothing to do with the type of job that was posted online. My interview was no more than 5 minutes and the person who interviewed me was very unprofessional. This is a pyramid scam and will lead you no where. Do not waste your time! Unless you went to college to learn how to distrubute coupons, this is not what you are looking for.

Agree in part and disagree in part. Yes, their hiring techniques and way they do business are slightly deceptive. No, Ken is not the terrible person he is made out to be. If you feel swindled by Ken and his business model after working for him more than a week either 1. you're an idiot who feels swindled by lotto scratch-offs or 2. you're the type to pass the blame onto others. I worked for the company for a short period of time and did not do well. It simply was not the proper environment for me. I was very glad when I was no longer working for them, but that was on me. In these tough economic times, it's easy to go for the easy money and then blame others when you don't like the outcome.

You all are sadly mistaken. If you dont have to self motivation you will never make it anywhere in life! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals that are wanting to maybe one day own you own company. I work for them so I know first hand! Ken is a well rounded business man and gives you an opportunity of a lifetime! If you aren't willing to work hours to become successfull by setting goals and achieving them...Then McDonalds or wal-mart would gladly take those of you that are being negative on here.. Have fun in your studio Apartment! JDH

Ken Weinraub owned KSW Marketing then changed the companies name to Heat Marketing after a lot of bad publicity. All of these marketing companies do it in order to avoid prosecution for the fraud the commit. Trust me, I used to own one myself.

Heat Inc does not distribute coupons or work in retail locations. They have a great opportunity available! Heat also has nothing to do with sports or sports advertising. They deal only with home improvement clients.

The HEAT promotions/marketing firm sounds exactly like the same line KSW fed me. I wouldn't trust it - especially if you can't find anything about it online.

any comments on HEAT promotions/marketing firm? they claim during training u have the choice of commision of salary of 35-40k. the commision amounts to more than the salary. don't see any thing of them online, however they could have just changed there name from another scam. any comments?

KLM Marketing may also be a front for KSW in Wilmington, DE. When I realized that it was door-to-door sales on commission, I promptly turned down the job, despite pressure from the staff to work there. They use the same interview process as KSW, even using the "sports marketing" pitch, except they said they scalped for the Yankees instead of the Phillies. Its a good thing I don't follow sports too closely.

I also want to add the same goes for EFG Marketing in Philadelphia. You are basically a girl scout who goes door-to-door selling, while these dudes just sit back and collect on your work. It's a chop shop and you'll be interviewing with 10 other people for about 5 minutes.

Absolutely right. Had the same experience. DO NOT waste your time on this scam of a company. People to watch out for: Ken Weinraub, Alyssa Boyle
