security, accusing me of being a thief when I hadn't taken anything and never have
The security guy's at Kroger on eakin and Harrisburg Pike appriched me in the back of the Kroger and asked me if I was going to pay for the item I had in my hand. I said yes, then one of them said to me, no you wasn't, I said who are you talking to and what are you insinuating?, He got in my personal space and told me to leave my things and get out. I have never been so embarrassed and insulted and I am thinking of talking to my attorney

meat/ sales associates
I just want to tell you how bad the Mount Sterling Kroger's treated me yesterday. I bought over $200 in meats. There was chicken breast in a cooler like 30 or 40 chicken breast and it said above it buy one get one free. Well I get over $200 and get up to check out and it rung up full price. Well the sales associate comes over and she says no this there's chicken breast is not the one on sale. So I take her to the back were the cooler was that still had 10 to 15 chicken breast still there. And he still said buy one get one free. Well we find a Stockman and he comes over and he says oh no this is not on sale the other Stockman must've placed it here an it wasn't supposed to go here. Then right in front of me he starts grabbing the chicken an put it into a box and moving it. So I told the sales associate The sign said buy one get one free so they had to let me have it for that. And she said no that's not what the paper says thats on sale. So I told her the paper might not of said it but their sign on the cooler did say buy one get one. So more or less over $200 of meat I put it all back because I had been lied to. If that wasn't the price then they shouldn't have put the meat in front of it. And I also had tenderloins that said buy one get one when I get up to the register they say no that's not the ones on sale. So I put them back. Then I had of the Kool-Aid juice drinks that did have a sign, and I took a picture of it that said 10 for 10. But when I get up to check out she called back and asked them to look and see if the sign said 10 for 10. Well me and her go back so that I can show her what the sign said and as we come up on the juice there was a workers hanging a sign for the Juice that said $1.99. But the sign was not there when I got the juice but after she called he knew he hadn't had a sign up except the 10 for 10 an they said it was for pudding, so he put another sign for $1.99 and put juice on it. But I have never in the 42 years of my life ever went to a store and being treated the way Kroger's treated me yesterday in Mount sterling Kentucky. And the sales associates and the Stockman treated me like I was some kind of a thief or liar an trying to cheat Them out of money or something. And I wasn't the only person that seen the meat and took it up to buy . There was others and they told them no they couldn't let them have it for that because they mistakenly put the wrong chicken breast with the buy one get one.
$200 of meat? Wellll! Someone's got an EBT card, eh?
store in terre haute. j981 east wabash ave.
We went in this evening and immediately noticed trash laying all over the floor. When we got to the bread isle there were several bread packages ripped open with dried out bread. Slices of bread laying out on the shelves. And some other type of smashed food laying on the floor nearby. A lot of other stuff in the individual isles was thrown about. It seemed like the night shift didn't have a care as to how it looked.
pharmacy - incorrect route on medication
Pharmacy filled an injectable medication for me, with incorrect route on label. I am a pharmacist, so I know it is incorrect. When I called the pharmacy and asked for a call back, no one called. When my husband returned to the pharmacy and asked about it, the pharmacist agreed it was incorrect, but didn't seem concerned that it was dispensed that way.

store in general/ manager
For the past year and a half, ever since moving to this area, I have been shopping at both Kroger and Publix. The Kroger I have been shopping at is the one located at 4715 S. Atlanta Road in Smyrna, GA. In the past year and a half, I have gone from 75% Kroger/25% Publix to what will now, after my experience today, be 100% Publix. This Kroger has continuously gone downhill in the past year and a half. It started out just being dirty. Then, as time has gone on, it has gotten to the point where you have to check every item to make sure it isn't expired. I go into the store now (as I said very infrequently) and it seems dingy and unfriendly and is never a pleasant experience.
The final straw happened today 8/18/2017. I was in the store between 6 and 7pm EST and as usual it was dark and dingy and not one single person even bothered to say hello. Then, when I went to the checkout, the cashier and bagger (it was lane 9 and they opened right around 6:30-6:40ish) where so engrossed in their own ridiculous conversation about feeling disrespected or something, they barely acknowledged my existence. I had given the cashier a stack of coupons which she completely forgot about until I reminded her and they just threw all my items into the bags I brought. When I got home, I had canned goods on top of bread and frozen items next to cardboard items that go in the cabinet, so the boxes were wet. It was just careless. So, I decided I would call and let the manager know because I believe he/she should have the opportunity to correct issues in the store first. When the manager got on the phone, he didn't say hello, he didn't identify himself, he just said "Yeah, what?". I said hello, thinking he might have been talking to someone else and just had the phone next to his ear but he again said "Yeah, what?". I told him never mind, I would just be contacting corporate because this is not a way you greet a customer and hung up.
Grocery shopping is neither fun nor enjoyable, one usually ends up spending a couple hundred dollars if it is a big shopping trip and at the very least, you should feel like they care enough to make sure the experience is as enjoyable as possible. I go into Publix and I get asked at least half a dozen times if I am finding everything ok and everyone smiles and if I need something, they either go get it or at least walk me to the item. The aisles are bright and clean and the baggers always offer to take your groceries to your car, which is a nice service. Yes, Publix is a bit more costly then Kroger but you know what...it's worth it!
kroger store in the tyler center is understocked
I have been a Kroger customer for many years but I am increasingly becoming very dissatisfied with your stores, especially the store at 12611 Taylorsville Road in Louisville, Kentucky. For the last few weeks the shelves are not stocked, sale items are not available and even the floral department has been bare of product. It is becoming all about Clicklist and store customers are suffering. I have never considered another company but I am about to find another place to shop.
If you don't care about losing loyal customers then by all means ignore this complaint. I am getting fed up!
no real registers open
at 10:20pm on 8/17/17 at the Pasadena tx store on red bluff at spencer hwy. You only had self serve registers open. How stupid is that? The old folks that don't know how to use them are in that line w baskets full and half of the self ck outs are down for one reason or another and your poor little lady employee is running herself to death trying to keep all your crap going and she is by herself. what a [censor] mess. I will not go in that P O S store ever again>...Pasadena tx SUCKS! and Kroger sucks!
unethical behavior
I have shopped at your Pekin, Illinois Kroger store for well over 20 years and have always had excellent service and respect from all of your employees there. Most of them have watched my children grow up from birth to teens. That being said, our oldest daughter was dating a current employee (Logan Worrick). He has since broke up with her and when she decided she did not want to reconcile the relationship, after we entered the store the following time, he messaged my youngest daughter and asked her why she was even in Kroger when he had informed her to never show her face there again. My youngest being scared blocked him from her social media. Since then I was informed we were reported for threatening him there at the location. I assure you I have not threatened anyone in the town of Pekin or surrounding area and do not have a record of any kind. Both of my girls are terrified to even set foot on Kroger property little lone go in to shop. This is not something that I am not happy about. As I said I have shopped there for over 20 years, I opened up a credit card with Kroger when I went back to school to obtain my masters degree, and am in there multiple times a week. I usually always fill out the surveys, however this last one I did not as I was very upset and did not want to write something without thinking it through first. I did tell him that he was better than the behavior he was portraying. When looking for a number to call, I found this complaint registration and felt this might be a good way to report it. I am not after anyone's job, I don't want anyone fired, I just want to be able to go in and complete my shopping without any ordeals or teeny bopper behavior. Your staff has always been wonderful to me and my family. However, this behavior is uncalled for and should not be carried out in a public area.
manager banned two loyal kroger customers
I witnessed an altercation two days ago at the Galveston location when a Kroger female employee/contract cleaner who did not understand my friend when he alerted her to his medical condition and needed to use the restroom in an emergency. The non-English speaking woman in the bathroom proceeded to spray my friend (who is nearly 60 yrs old) with cleaner and water, refusing to leave him alone in the MENS bathroom. A party of staff led by the manager gathered by the door to figuratively jump him when he got out. Again, we were in the process of shopping so I became (and still am) a witness of the employee attack on my friend in the MENS restroom. The perpetrator continued to speak in Spanish but the in-house police officer never asked her for her ID. My friend was then escorted upstairs at the grocery store to be further interrogated. Allthewhile about a dozen employees gathered to watch us be humiliated and embarrassed in front of many people shopping. I later approached the manager, waited until she was finished with her business and then I simply asked where my friend was being taken so I would know. She then shouted "leave or I will report you for harassment!" And she ran off. I left, got to my car in the parking lot as she had summoned me to do, she and the cop come running out to my car. The cop asked for my ID which I reluctantly gave him in fear of being slammed to the ground or worse for asking. Then after taking my information on my driver's license, both the cop and manager yell out from the Kroger front door "you are both BANNED FROM THE PROPERTY!" The manager got all of my personal private information from the policeman (considered identity theft in most cases)...I'm "banned" from the store...for no realistic cause...by a single store manager's poor judgement of an innocent customer. The Court will decide that... not a grocery store manager. Disgusting display by the manager and security officer of duress, public humiliation, embarrassment, harassment and customer abuse which seems to be rampant at this particular store. This type of public behavior is downright unacceptable and intolerable. Some changes need to be made to this store's management but I also think it has become systemic to the entire Kroger Brand, too bad because there's a handful of good managers there whom I know by their first names over the course of shopping there frequently. I've never seen this particular rude manager ever there and I have no idea what her name is. But she had the power to forbid individuals from her store. Corporate agrees...She now has my personal info.in her possession. I have never been "banned" from any place my entire 58 years of life. It's absurd. I did nothing wrong.
unethical behavior from the hiring manager
I would like to file a complaint for unethical behavior from the hiring manager Ms. Kimbro at the store location Fairview Oaks Shopping Center 101 Fairview Rd, Ellenwood, GA 30294.
My 16 year old son applied for a job and spoke to Ms. Kimbro and up front without even interviewing him she told him he needs to cut his hair in order to interview. My son was extremely disappointed but he really wanted the job so he cut his hair like she asked him to. He came back because she told him she speak to the students on Tuesdays about jobs, he came back and she told him there were some questions on his application that he needed to correct and to go online and correct them and call her back at 9:30pm. My son did what she asked and called her back and he was told to call back at 10:00pm since she was busy, he called back again and was told the same thing. I really find it disturbing that she asked him to cut his hair to interview for the job and she never called him back or hired him. I have talked to other parents in the area and they also said the same lady Ms. Kimbro gave there son the run around also and eventually never called them back or hired them. I feel like she discriminated against him by saying he need to cut his hair before she can interview him and knew she didn't have intentions on hiring him.
clicklist
Was to pick up order between 7 and 8 pm. Called told me too busy try to pick up tomorrow. That was not an option for me. Told them I needed by 815 longest could wait. Sick parent at home, nurse coming.
I get the groceries at 830. Come home. Did not give at least 150 dollars of my groceries.
Now come the calls. Asking address. Then couldn't find my home. Put them on the porch.
This service was horrendous. Do not use !
6 minutes prior to store closing I was denied access to the store by security personnel
The Kroger store located at the corner of Beltline Rd. and Northgate in Irving, Tx. is open til midnight. I needed a bag of ice and a frozen dinner. I arrived at the store at 11:54 pm. I see a group of 3 people walk in the store ahead of me. When I get to the door the security guard stops me and tells me that the store is closed. I tell him what time it is and tell him that I would be out of the store before midnight and he again denies me access. I end up having to go across the street to Tom Thumb, get my items and I'm out just after midnight. I shop at Kroger every day and spend a lot of money in your store. This practice of denying access before the store is actually closed is unacceptable to me. If you want all of your employees gone by midnight I suggest you close the store 15 minutes earlier. My kroger card number is [protected] 0. Check it out and and you'll see that I am telling you the truth. Now I can't say the same thing for Kroger. You say you're open till midnight but you deny access earlier than that. Please reply to this complaint. I want to know if this is the norm at Kroger. Sincerely, Kerry Stultz [protected]

availability of toasted oats cereal
This is my first complaint in the forty-plus years of being Kroger patron. My elderly mother and I greatly enjoy the plain Toasted Oats Cereal with almond flavor. (We prefer it over Cheerios). It appears to no longer be avaible. I've looked in two stores and found only Honey Nut Toasted Oats in the previously mentioned cereal's former location. I finally purchased it and it is not to our liking.
I don't understand why you would pull an item which sold well. And we would like you to return it to the shelves. Thank you.

rude employees
Myself and my husband are in Kroger (in the Georgetown shopping center in Dunwoody, Ga) at least 4-5 times, if not more and the majority and I mean 90% of the employees are rude and have the worse customer service. This has been going on for so long and I have ignored it, as Kroger is close to me and has good prices, but it has gotten so bad. If the employees even speak, which most of the time while checking out the employees do not look or speak to anyone. I try to be very friendly and I get no response. If an employees speaks it is unbelievable how rude they are. I was in this Kroger yesterday 8/10/17 @ 6:15 PM (there is [protected] next to the date and time) and Mary who was the cashier did not speak after I said hello how are you. I wrote a check and ask can I get $10 back please, she rudely said you can try. I thanked her and said have a great rest of the day, 3 times and no word. All the employees act like this. I will be shopping at Publix. I hope someone can give good customer service training for this store.
pie crusts
the id #1F211548, expiration date October 1, 2017.
Both crusts in the box, when used, were extremely DRY and after
baking would not 'slice' with the end of the crust crumbling.
Also, the taste was more like cardboard, not enough shortening (since
I have made homemade dough myself)
I do not have the receipt, since I purchased this box about 3 weeks ago;
It was kept on the upper shelf of the refrig, not very cold and not
frozen. I have purchased other brands, even at less cost and have
not experienced this result.
Please send a store credit...

national tv ad for pork roast.88 per pound
For 3 days, I have seen an ad for pirk roast at .88 per pound aired on Channel 13 (ABC) in the Houston area. I went to your stores at FM 1960 & 2920, FM2920 & Kuykendahl, FM 249 & Cypresswood Dr. none of the meat market managers at these stores is aware of the ad. Where may I find pork roast for the advertised price? It had been a challenge getting local Kroger managers/employees to help
Kroger - kroger brand seltzer water - raspberry
I am contacting you to make you aware of a potentially dangerous situation with Kroger brand Seltzer Water (raspberry flavor and maybe others). My daughter and I were driving in the car when a can of Kroger sparkling water exploded. Admittedly, it was about 5 min. after we had gotten back into our hot car where we had left an unopened can of your water...
