Kroger pharmacist

Wow, I don't know where to start. I Have been a customer for a long time. A fairly new pharmacist there has given me nothing but problems and embarrassment. I am on suboxone, but I am on it for psoriatic arthritis and Lupus. For pain. It is now being widely used for many things, not just drug addiction which I DON'T have. I started out on a high amount and have went down consistently each spring. Well, I decided to ask my Dr. ( I ASK THE DR. THE DR. DID NOT ASK ME) to cut down my dosage again In October not realizing or thinking about the winter months coming and how it affects my pain and my activity. The first month went fine and then the following month it got much colder out, I did not have my seasonal work I do so I was not getting enough exercise which plays havoc on your joints. My pain was much worse and I was running out a few days early because I was having to go back to my old dose to subside the pain. I told my Dr, about this, My Dr, is a very attentive one, not one where your just in and out to get your refills, she talks to you, does tests, is very thorough. So the first month I ran short she wrote a prescription to make up for the days I was short and said if I continue to be short because of the pain then we will go back to old dose. So I take this 3 days prescription to Kroger and am told they will not fill it because it is 2 days early. I told the pharmacist I know and my Dr. knows its early, she wrote it because I ran short. Then I was treated like a common drug addict. She says rather loudly in front of the whole pharmacy, you should have 4 left, why don't you have 4 left. I didn't and still don't feel I needed to go through and explain the whole thing to her in a drive thru window. I said I will have my Dr, call, she proceeds to keep saying you should have 4 left, why don't you have 4 left, are you not taking it as prescribed? At this point I am PISSED, Because my Dr, knows what's going on and I have said I will have her call the pharmacy. I said again, my Dr, will be calling you and she says sarcastically, well no Dr, has called yet. This got me in tears, I went home and within a little bit my Dr. called them and they agreed to give it to me. Then came this month, I run short a few days again, cold weather has set in, I'm getting no exercise and my pain is worse. I talk to my Dr, and tell her everything and she agrees that we lowered my dose at the wrong time, we should have waited till spring as we did before. So, she writes my script for the old amount I was on and I told her, I think that pharmacist is gonna give me a problem again. She says when you get there, tell them if they have an issue to call the office before we leave. I go to pharmacy, and tell the tech lady behind the counter my Dr, said if there is going to be a problem please call the office before they leave, she waits 20 minutes, I'm sitting in lobby and here comes that nasty pharmacist that I had before saying we can't fill this for two more days. I tell her that my Dr, said to call and that it is a new dosage. She proceeds to say LOUDLY, you should have 4 left, why don't you have 4 left? I said mam, you can talk to my Dr. about that. She says that don't matter, you should have 4 left, everyone is looking at me like I am a drug fiend, people in line, people sitting waiting and all the pharmacy staff, so I'm sitting down in lobby looking up my dr's number and AGAIN she says you should have 4 left, we are not gonna fill this. I said MAM, I am calling my Dr, and you can discuss it with her, would you PLEASE stop announcing my dosage to the public? She says well then come up here to the counter, I said I am calling my Dr. ( Now I'm sorry but this is ridiculous and I should NOT have to be badgered by this woman like this. I did not want to speak with her, I knew how she was and just wanted to call my Dr.) This ended up in the conference room where I explained the whole thing about the meds which I STILL FEEL I shouldn't have to to her. I am crying at this point because she has embarrassed me if front of customers and staff. The manager comes in and smooth's things over I apologize for getting so upset and saying one cuss word which I said when this pharmacist would not let me get one sentence out of my mouth, she kept interrupting me, So I did apologize for getting that upset and saying a cuss word but the only apology I got from that pharmacist is a" sorry I made you cry", nothing about the assumption, nothing about the public embarrassment. she still acted like she was in the right to behave that way but I had no more fight in me, The only thing I could do was leave and wait for my Dr. to call them back. I was humiliated to even leave and walk past the people that heard what she had said OVER AND OVER. ( I am not exaggerating, she said that at least 5 times) and the manager takes my Dr/s number. Half hour later I have my meds. Why did I have to go through this? There is NO EXCUSE. I know there are rules as to how long in between controlled substance but I TOLD her to talk to my Dr. And she just kept announcing things loudly after I sat down and was looking up my DR, 's phone number. And this was a new prescription with a NEW dosage. NOBODY should be treated like this. I ask her in that conference room, if this med had been an antibiotic that I ran short on, would you have announced over and over I should have 4 left? She said yes ...what EVER yeah right, I do NOT believe she would have. I feel I was stigmatized and treated poorly and this was NOT right. SO my question is, should I go higher? and get this woman reported? Even the manager said she should not have did that to me. Do you feel I was being stigmatized as being a drug seeker? I truly FEEL I WAS, SHE knew NOTHING that was going on but made assumptions and embarrassed me publically and I feel that was VERY wrong. I feel I am owed AN APOLOGY, a gift card, something, anything that says they are sorry this happened to me not once but TWICE and nothing can undo the embarrassment I felt publically. incident January 4, 2016 about 5:30 pm

Kroger rewards customer service on the phone

I called the customer service, and was put on hold for 27 mins. Finally a woman identifying herself as "Vi...ki" or "Vi...ci" answered. She told me that the survey I took online would take 2-5 days to have my account credited with 50 points. I took the survey 2 days earlier, and the points have not shown up on the account, but it is the last day of the month, and I wanted the points in. She said she couldn't do anything about it. She said I should have done the survey on the phone to have the points credited right away. I told her I would do a new survey on the phone right then. She told me to "hold on", and before I could agree or disagree, she hanged up on me. I called the customer service line again, and was on hold for 57 mins. After the 57 mins, the same woman with the name, "Vi..." answered the phone. I told her I wanted to do the survey on the phone, and she hanged up on me again. This is what Kroger/Fred Meyer's customer service is all about. And their rewards point: if you do the survey online, it is up to them when they want to credit you the 50 points, which is usable only if you can make it to 100 points for the month. So, you might do the survey a few days before the end of the month, hoping that you would earn the points to make up the 100 points for the month that would be usable. But they will hold it up and give you the points the following month, making you waste the effort, energy, time, and the 50 points. It is a scam! And to be put on hold twice, for nearly an hour, and have the customer service person hang up on you, not once, but twice! This is their customer service!

Kroger service as well as products

This store has been our main stop for groceries for years, for at least a year they are out of normal stock items, advertised items, meat items and personnel running registers that are incompetent of handling that task. Today's mess is what promoted me to start shopping at the new Meier's. The registers don't get the prices changed to match item. Then when finished it would not take give me the discount, the cashier did not know how to resolved the issue, so rather than call a supervisor to the register, I'm told get out of line and go to the courteous booth. That person had to be helped to fix the issue and then I had to prompt the girl twice to give me a receipt to prove that the credit was applied back to my Visa, I ended out of the store with no record to show my gas discount. This store is in dire needs of an manager and the tech support to keep its prices corrected to the registers. WE have shopped Kroger for thirty years and will have to change stores to be assured that the transaction is correct. I have talked to other customers and its seems to be an all to common occurrence.

Kroger food poisoning from sushi product sold at store

This complaint is made against a Kroger Supermarket located on 41941 Garfield Rd, in Clinton Twp., MI 48038; Ph#[protected]. What follows is a description of events that happened beginning and subsequent to April 16th, 2014 (including the early morning of April 17) and pertain to a case of food poisoning. This document was also submitted to the Department of Agriculture over the internet around August 12, 2014. I bought a Crunchy Shrimp Roll (sushi roll) from a Kroger Supermarket [located on 41941 Garfield Rd, in Charter Twp of Clinton, MI 48038; Ph#[protected]] on the night of April 16, 2014, at around 6:50pm. Immediately after returning to my apartment at around 7pm (and I live approx. 3min. away from the store at Lakeside Village Apartments), I unpacked the food I had purchased, ate about half the sushi roll (or three individual pieces), and then put the rest into my refrigerator. I also had a turkey sandwich. At around 9:30pm that night, I started to experience stomach cramps that grew progressively worse. I’m a veteran that receives medical care through the VA System, so by around 10:15pm. I called the Detroit VA Hospital and asked an ER Nurse whether I should drive down to their Emergency Dept. When I described my symptoms, I asked if it could possibly be food poisoning (because I've never had food poisoning before and have no known food allergies). She said maybe and that I should come to the ER because they could provide treatment for it. I then tried to drive myself to the Detroit VA Hospital (by around 11pm or so), but couldn't make it all the way there (the cramps were much too intense for me to keep driving). So I pulled over at a hotel on Little Mack and called for an ambulance. A Roseville Fire Dept. Ambulance picked me up and took me to St. John Macomb/Oakland Hospital. I told the treating physician that I had eaten some sushi, and that it made me sick (the only other food I consumed that night was a turkey sandwich; the turkey, bread, and mayo were all food items that I had eaten from prior to that night and also after that night with no resulting illness). The symptoms I continued with at the hospital were extreme stomach cramps and vomiting. The doctor acknowledged that the sushi could very well have been the source of my problem, but only notated 'abdominal pain' as the diagnosis. I was later told by personnel at Emergency Department Physicians, P.C. that the doctor would have had to test the food in question--the sushi--in order to give a diagnosis of food poisoning related to it. I never had the food tested, but instead the morning of April 17, 2014, I called the Kroger store where I had purchased the sushi, and told them that I had gotten food poisoning from it. They told me to bring the uneaten portion back to their store and that they would consult with me as to what further steps should be taken. I followed their instructions, brought the remainder of the sushi roll back to their store and met with a manager. He took the food from me, and filled out paperwork he said was needed for their upper management. I informed him that I hoped my medical bills for the ER visit would be reimbursed, and he assured me the owners of the sushi bar would take care of me in that regard. Around April 21, 2014 I received a letter from Sedgwick Claims Management Services (Kroger's insurance company) and in it they stated that "the product in question is not manufactured by Kroger and was not shown to expired at the time of purchase, therefore we have turned this matter over to the applicable third party." They then listed Advanced Fresh Concept c/o Eddie (no last name written) as the person I should contact for any redress. After trying to obtain some sort of payment arrangement from Eddie for my medical bills, he eventually declined to give me any money. So according to the information I was given by Sedgwick, I assumed he was the correct person to deal with regarding the matter. Well after about a month of trying to negotiate with Eddie, Kroger finally directed me to the upper management (or Food Safety Division) of Advanced Fresh Concept (AFC)--or the entity I should have been initially referred to, not Eddie. And AFC put me in touch with Liberty Mutual, or their insurance company. However ultimately, Liberty Mutual denied my claim because there was no substantiating evidence linking my illness the night of April 16, 2014 to their insured's product. Again, I never had the food tested. Kroger management made the sushi available to the sushi bar owner/manager, or Eddie, but he never retrieved it. Also, Kroger's management team didn't have the food tested either, although they did keep offering reassurances that my medical bills would be appropriately handled by the company who rented their sushi bar. And eventually, Kroger unfortunately threw out the remaining sushi. I feel the conduct of Kroger's management team, both lower and upper, was not very responsible in dealing with this matter. The VA ended up paying for approximately half my medical bill--which in total came to about $2, 450.00. I trusted Kroger management to help me obtain a proper financial resolution, and it never occurred to me that the portion of uneaten sushi product which I had in my possession should have been tested as a part of any formal insurance claim. Kroger management never brought that fact to my attention and more importantly, they also neglected to have the food tested themselves. Sincerely, Lori Orlando 15830 Lakeside Village Dr. Apt. 204 Clinton Twp., Mi. [protected]

On the kroger feedback site, he entry ed cursor must be moved manually for each of the six separate numbers. On other websites the cursor moves automatically to the next entry. Online and by phone, for over one year, I have requested that the web site improve to the automatic cursor movement. Why can't kroger make this small change for the convenience of the customer?

Kroger fired unjustly

Dec. 3, 2015. Went into work today and was surprised to see a new cake decorator. Following the next 15 minutes, my deli coworker was called up to the office. I looked at the schedule and it had all my days marked out with a comment "have finals cant work." No one in the building knew I was in college. The beginning of this month, I let my manager know I would not be able to get to work for Thanksgiving week. I was neither asking or requesting it off. I told her that the NHHS band was going to Macy's and since I have no ride (car is broke down) and no one to watch my son, I wont be here that week. My parents had paid for me to go with them for supervision purposes. Now this week is here, and I have a manager say I am keeping my job, my reason for not being here is fine, for the area manager to say I am fired. I work in the Bakery as a cake decorator, seeing the new cake decorator there and it being her second day on the job, you can tell it was planned out for me to get fired. There was no reason for me being fired. I took the responsibility as an employee and let my boss know where and why I wasn't going to be here. If she needed proof she just needed to call. This isn't right.

Kroger unethical behaviour

On Saturday the fourteenth of November, I was waiting in line at 21st and maize Dillon's at the meat and seafood counter and an African american male started to raise his voice at the younger lady who was helping me. She looked a bit embarrassed, and how i was raised no one should be treated like this in the workplace regardless if she is a female or not.

The store manager was approach by supposedly another customer and told him that my 11 year old daughter was stealing the lip gloss by sticking it in her purse. Which she did not she had it in her had the whole time. I was also told that another lady saw it to. The manager tried to bribe us by telling that we could have the groceries for nothing or a gift card. Why would I except any of that when my daughter did nothing wrong. The manager even seen her put the makeup in my cart and wood not leave us alone.

Kroger products not ringing up on sale, no one on the floor to help, and occasionally rotten vegetables and fruits

I've been shopping at Kroger for almost twenty years and each year it just gets worse! I've seen giant rats running up the water drains in the store, stray cats, birds and mice. The products that are on sale each month there's always something that doesn't ring up right. There is no one around to help find things I can't find and when I hunt one person down they don't know either. There are no baggers (at least 50%)each time we are there so I have to bag it all myself. I have MS (Multiple sclerosis, so this is very difficult for me) I'm tired of getting home and seeing that the cashier forgot my coupons or that a sale price didn't come up right. I hate this Kroger anymore. There's nothing I can say good about it. I wish I could but even the meat tastes rotten, haven't bought it there for a while because of it. I've seen milk sitting on a shelf and watch a worker put it back in the fridge after I tell them. Who cares if it's rotten right? I've spent more time and money having to return to this store over and over. I'm done as the rest of my extended family! Martins and Aldis are far better in every way. U lost a lot of customers...too bad over things that could be resolved but never are.

Kroger no stock on shelves

3 days ago I went into the Kroger store located on Clarksville Highway in Nashville, TN to purchase some Cream of Wheat cereal. All they had on the shelf was the instant pack boxes not the regular box of Cream of Wheat I buy. I stopped back this afternoon after 5pm and they still did not have what I was looking for. Not only that, but the shelf had not been touched as I remember how the boxes of instant Cream of Wheat were sitting. This is not the first time this store has not had items that I wished to purchase and had purchased from it in the past. It seems like if something sells well, they stop stocking it. I once even asked the manager when I was looking for an item and he said and I quote, 'we get what corporate decides we should get'. It doesn't matter that the are loosing customers but they really need to do something or sell this store to another company that WILL SEE TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR LOCAL CUSTOMERS.

Kroger employment

I was recently offered employment with Kroger. I was originally excited about the opportunity but to my surprise one of the workers made the company appear unreliable. I conveyed to the first person I spoke with in regards to the pay scale and the lady from corporate advised me to wait until I had the in store interview so I agreed. I had my interview with one of the managers and the process went fine. The manager explained to me that she doesn't make he determination in regards to the pay. I was told that a form must be submitted, which is clearly understandable. I received a phone call on 10/21/2015 at 8:28 from another manager advising me to come to the training center located at the another Kroger location. (no one called to offer employment prior to) I was slightly confused because I was told there is no time, just to go. I agreed and went to the training center but I sat for one hour only to be told there would be for the day. I was upset because I couldn't believe they had me and another lady just sitting. (with NO PAY) The same day I called the store where I was hired and spoke with the manager who interviewed me and she apologized for the misinformation. She advised me to go to the corporate Kroger location 10/22/2015. Again I agreed because I was still interested in employment with Kroger. I arrived at 7:30 AM and waited until 8 for the class to start. There lady who came appeared to be a trainer of some sort. I expressed my concerns about the previous incident and she was rude to me in the process. She told me that nobody showed up for the training the previous day and I clearly told her yes I did and so did another lady. She proceeded to tell me that I went to the wrong place and I told her I went to the location that was told to me. She was still rude so I expressed my concern about the pay and when she stated to me that I couldn't go anywhere else to make more than $7.35, I felt completely discriminated. The reasons are for one she doesn't know me or my educational background, and then when the other lady came in of another race, she treated her different. The trainer kept hinting that maybe I should wait to start the training and since I felt discrimination, I decided to leave. I spoke with the manager and to my surprise the trainer old her I just got up and walked out totally leaving out how rude she was to me. I'm just in utter shock so I explained to the manager about what I experienced and that I would like to decline the offer. I took Kroger to be a professional place and I am a Kroger shopper but after my experience, I will have to limit my trips and spread the word about my experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my concern and know that I can deal with several things but discrimination is not one of them.

I am a 61 year old, disabled, white male. I have not worked for 18 years due to my disability. 6 months ago I decided I was going to try to become a productive citizen again and attempt to find a part time job. I was working with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and Work Source in attempt to find a suitable job. I am a dedicated, reliable, extremely qualified for almost any job with my education and job experience. I was an Operations’s Manager and Engineer for 4 different corporations at Nuclear Chemical Processing facilities and Waste Management. Now, I can not get a part time job as a checker! They say they hire the most “Qualified”! What? I am not qualified? I am willing and have told them I will work for minimum wage and I am not interested at this point in doing any other job. It is up to them if they want to use my many other talents. They will not give me a job! What is up with this unfair hiring practice! They are afraid of me or they are discriminating against me based on age and disability! It is an unfair practice and I expect it should be corrected!

Kroger sales items don't check out as on sale

Multiple times I have purchased an item listed as on sale only to have it check out as full price. When telling the cashier that I don't want it if it isn't on sale I am told to go stand in customer service line, which is long and only has one person working there. Items on clearance don't check out at clearance price, either. I will never shop this Krogers again and will avoid all Krogers from now one, as I see this is a store wide issue. Thank you soooo much.

Kroger most complex and confusing receipt

Kroger has the most complex and confusing receipt as well as on the price screen when scanning items I have ever experienced. Kroger cares more about how much money they claim to save you (very bold) so I can’t even see what the costs of items are (not in bold). We believe Kroger does this because they do not want us to detect if they bill us wrong. If they do bill us wrong (and we catch it!), I have to go and wait in line at customer service while my ice cream is melting to get my money back. Also, Kroger does not want us to be able to figure it out while in line, because it will hold up the line. My wife and I have spent 10 to 15 minutes sometimes trying to figure out if the discounts were applied, (either coupon or Kroger card or both) or not to items because the discounts do not occur until the end of the transactions. There is so much garbage printed on the receipt I almost cannot see any white behind the mass amount of worthless printing on it. I tried to send this feedback to Kroger on their web site but the submit button does not work, so I selected the e-mail option and nothing happens either. I even tried reloading the web page, still nothing. Imagine that, they do not want your feedback. HEB has the nicest receipt of all grocery stores I have seen, with the savings clearly marked and circled at the bottom away from the items purchased. I encourage my wife and everyone else to shop HEB instead of Kroger as much as possible. I attached my Kroger and HEB receipt. You decide which one you can read and which is worthless as the store!

Kroger failure to coordinate return recalled of items

I went to Kroger 1001 N Beckley yesterday to return black pepper and garlic powder that Kroger had distributed a return call that I had purchased around the month of May. There was only one person in the Customer Services counter with a line of 10 people and growing to be serviced. I asked a clerk directing traffic to the auto check out lanes if this is where I needed to return recalled items for exchange. She wasn't knowledgeable but assumed that's what I'd have to do since it was a return. The manager passed and I asked if he was the manager and he replied, "Yes!" I explained my situation and if I would have to wait in this line to return these recalled items. He replied, "Yes!" I then asked why was only one person in Customer Service with this long line building and why wasn't there an easier way to handle recalled items. He did not take charge of this issue but said he was trying to get help which never came. I left the items on a display case and went about my shopping because I could not wait for an hour or longer just to piddle with these recall items. If you recall items, your store should have a quick exchange process in place and not add to the confusion of your overloaded Customer Services single clerk to manage. This store has never had quality management nor has it ever been proactive. In the future, you should lay out a simple process to handle recall item returns.
Kroger fails its south side customer base. The Kroger stores in north Dallas have quality items, products, staff and managers. Our south side stores off the bare minimum and sometimes the bare is even shorter to none . . .

Kroger smokers

This location has a picnic table outside the front of the store where the employee smokers go (Assumingly) on their breaks. Customers have to walk by this area entering and leaving the store. It is very off-putting and inconsiderate to say the least. Bystanders should not be forced to be subjected to others' second hand smoke in a business establishment. Hopefully management will deem this inappropriate and relocate the "smoking station". Thank you.

I have become virtual prisoner in my home because of second hand smoke from people congregating and smoking near doorways of public establishments. I cannot go out because I become severely ill from its adverse effects on my congenital heart and lung disorders. Smoking should be done in a place where it does not create problems for others. Second hand smoke has been deemed dangerous to everyone's health.

Kroger fictitious spent 2 hours trying to get into this site at 3 different times in past 3 weeks my computer says unsecure site and other message bogus site

Have tried aprox. 2 hours apiece for the last 3 weeks to use my store receipt and enter contest and survey at www.krogerfeedback.com and my computer tells me 2 different messages-- 1 unsecure web site and the 2nd message bogus site. If you are no longer offering this and the chance for someone to win $100.00 for the month you should take this off your store receipts as this is false advertising. I would appreciate a answer on this; I have already typed several different notes such as this to Kroger sites I thought were for complaints and so far I have received no replys .
Thank You

Kroger drug and alcohol use at work

Store #462 atl, ga has a hugh problem with drug and alcohol use on and at the job. It as gotten so bad that the customers notice employees either drunk or smelling like weed and have complained to me and others about how uneasy itmakes them feel to shop there. Store management was told of this, but as of yet, nothing has been done. It has gotten to the point that between the hours of 11pm and 3am people come in to shop and walk out with carts of items that they haven't paid for because they know what employees are doing even the security guard comes in drunk. Im really praying that something is done before we lose even more great customers because of employee and managers lack of concern and caring

Your complaint is very hard to understand.

Are you saying that, with your purchase, you also received $20 out of the till from a debit card transaction? If that is the case, why did you sign your receipt saying you received the $20 when you in fact did not?

Kroger customer service

First let me say that I have been a Kroger customer for many years I moved from Smyrna, Tn. to Murfreesboro, tn. a few years ago and have beenn shopping at the Kroger store at 2949 Old Fort Parkway Murfreesboro, Tn. 37128. Most of the store employees are nice and helpful; some spend more time socializing with each other than working. But my real problem began with an African American pharmacist that gave me incorrect information that caused a great deal of problems not only with filling my prescription, but also with my doctor’s office. I brought my prescription in paper form to the above named Kroger’s to be filled. My prescription was written TID as directed which means in medical Latin terms “ter in die” which is traditionally used in prescriptions to specify the frequency with which medicines should be taken, three times a day! The pharmacist was rude and uninform in her job telling me that TID could mean two times a day or three times a day and would not fill my prescription; she also told my doctor’s office the same wrong information. So I went to the Kroger store manager and I told the store manager that my doctor’s office said that the pharmacist was wrong and uninformed of what the term TID meant. The store manager went with me back to the pharmacy and the pharmacist told the manager the same wrong information that she gave my doctor’s office and me, and refused to fill my much needed prescription.

This is by far one of the worst expertise’s I have ever had as a customer in any store. I feel that if the pharmacist doesn’t have the proper training in her job then she should not be answering questions are filling prescription. And at the least owes me as a customer an apology for being wrong and rude.

African American's don't know how to read that is why you were given the wrong information. Why did she get the job in the first place when she cannot read. If she did not they would play the race card. That is all they are good for playing the race card when they do not get what they want.
