Kroger pineapple tidbits

I Beverly Slater am submitting this a second time because I don't know if was viewed the first time. I purchased a package of pineapple tidbits 5/27/2018 and while eating from container I saw a roach leg. I was informed to send roach leg to Pacific Coast Producers/Travelers while putting into container leg broke so I still have other part.
Pamela Mee called me and said it look like stem of product to them and I did informed her it look like insect leg to me. I informed her they need to get another viewer because I am sueing for $20 Hundred Thousand Dollars for having bug in what I purchased.

Thanks,
Beverly Slater

Kroger hot foods department

My family recently moved into the Sandusky Ohio area. I visited your store on Perkins Ave. besides buying groceries I purchased a Fried Chicken Family diner to take home. My first time buying your Hot Foods, at home I served diner, the corn was overwhelmingly SALTY, unable for us to eat. The rolls were biscuits not rolls, and the chicken which I was told just came out of the fryer was old and barely hot. My family is a big fried chicken family and we use to get fried chicken at the least 3 times a week from Apples Grocery where we use to live. Im saddened that your quality is not very good, Im still trying to find our fried chicken place here in Sandusky, Myers is actually worse then yours and Walmart no thank you, hoping an Apples or Giant Eagle will consider opening a location here, or maybe you might upgrade your fried chicken.

Kroger kroger golden flax and grain pan bread

I have loved this kind for a few years now...tonight, I made a sandwich from a brand new loaf...I immediately tasted Caraway seed, which to my knowledge has NEVER been included before in this recipe. I HATE that flavor ! It's my Cilantro ! - I continued eating, hoping it was a fluke...No such luck...I only used one slice of bread, but I must have hit about 10 -12 caraway seeds in that ONE slice ! - If I wanted rye bread, I would have bought rye bread... If the recipe has changed, I regret to tell you I'll be looking for a new favorite bread, as this is no longer mine...thank you.

Kroger no product on the shelves

I live in New Lexington, Ohio. We have a Kroger store there. In the last year or so, the quality of this store has gone down hill. They never have very much product on their shelves. I can run to the store with a list of about 5 or 6 items and only come out with maybe 2 of those items. This happens a lot! For example, I buy a certain type of string cheese. I buy it faithfully every week. There have been two occasions now where I have waited roughly 4 weeks for them to restock that item! When I have inquired about it, both times, I was told that they had it in the back, but it was on a pallet and not easy to get to at that moment... but then never got to it until about another week later. Now, I just went in there yesterday to see if they put it out yet and there is a Close Out Item sticker on this product... and there's no product there! I don't understand them closing it out when I know it is purchased frequently because they are always out of it. I can say the same thing for the yogurt I buy... the shelf is always empty. It seems that they also do away with items that are frequently bought? I've had many conversations with other people that have this same issue at our Kroger. It is just frustrating because to go to a decent grocery store, we would have to travel at least 30 minutes to do so. But, I am to the point that I feel I have no choice but to do so. I don't know what has happened to our store, but it really could use some re-vamping. They have these wonderful sales on produce... then the produce is rotten and slim to none. If you ask anyone who works there about these issues, they say the best thing to do is to complain to corporate. If it were just one product that I had issues with, I could accept that. But, I feel like it happens to a lot of the products I buy. Either the shelf is always empty or they discontinued the item. I'm sure this complaint won't make a difference, but at least I can say I tried instead of just complaining to everyone around me.

I appreciate your time.

Kroger pneumonia shot

On October 1st I filled out the paper work for my flu shot and the young lady checked the computer and told me I needed a pneumonia shot (turned out to be my 3rd) so needed less to say after receiving the two shots within 3 hours my body began to react. I called pharmacy the next morning to let them know but they didn't seem concerned. That same evening a pharmacist called to check on me and said he would call and check on me the next day, which did not happen. My body was in so much pain I couldn't even lay in bed. As time progressed the body continue to go from one thing to another and I ended up in the doctor's on Thursday and was advised I should not have had the shot as it made the 3rd and after 65 you only get one. The doctor prescribed steroids which I took. I spent the rest of the month of October going from one thing to another and apparently this ordeal took my immune system to the bottom.
I am a person that takes care of my physical well being, exercise and try to eat properly to stay well.

Kroger chicken nuggets (kroger brand)

I bought a Kroger Brand Chicken Nuggets (exp date. 2020) last week. After opening I found that fungus growth on all the nuggets. My little son has eaten one before I noticed that. He also has some GI upsets/ Vomiting. I'm a regular Kroger customer. This is the first time I've noticed this type of problem. This, in my opinion is a very serious issue. I need compensation for that, otherwise I'll complain in Consumer Forum.

Kroger managers lack of good customer service skills and flippant attitude

Wife & I have shopped the Kroger store at 2012 Wards Rd. Lynchburg, Va. 24502 for over 22 yrs. We went to the store to purchase Pepsi 2 liter drinks on sale for 88 cents. We live on a fixed income and purchase most items on sale. We had 10 Pepsi decaf, and 15 Diet Dr. Pepper 2 liters a bunch of bananas and a couple of bags of chips. When I placed the Pepsi products on the conveyor, the cashier told me I could only purchase a total of 10 of those items. I told her that the signage on the item and the sales paper did not state that. She told me that was her managers decision and asked if I wanted to speak to her. I said yes. After waiting for approx. 10 mins. the manager showed up, she was not wearing any visible name badge; she was African-American. the cashier told her and the mgr. asked what was my problem. I told her that neither the signage on the product, nor the sales paper reflected a 10 only limit on Pepsi products. She told me that was her decision. I told her I had worked for Kroger and never heard of that before, she told me that she had that right as the mgr. I told her I had a right to not purchase anything from her store any longer and that I was sure that the Timberlake Rd. store would be glad for my business. She told be quite flippantly to, "help yourself", turned and walked away. She was very rude and flippant for a mgr. and as a former Kroger employee, I thought "we" treated customers better. The wife & I left the cart, went to the Timberlake Rd. store and they were more than happy to have my business. My wife & I will never return to the Wards Rd. store again! I pray that you correct this lack of customer service immediately, if I was the District mgr., this person would be terminated! Thomas Frank404 Hackberry Rd. Rustburg, Va. 24588

Kroger bread, onions, garlic, grapes, berries

Frequented several Kroger stores, college station, Conroe, Texas produce and other had mold, not suspecting did not examine closely expecting it to be fresh. But, it's happening too often. Every time I am home from shopping. Stores miles away. Conroe store 90 miles away, something molded or spoiled. We need a store in Navasota, Texas. You have one in Willis, Texas, same small as Navasota. At least if something is spoiled I can bring it right back for fresh. My husband refuses to shop anywhere else. You have him hooked on discounts and coupons.

Nutritionist wife not happy!

Kroger parking, pharmacy, shopping interference

Kroger.com
October 29, 2018

I live in Richmond Ky and shop at Kroger…average 3 times per week.

I have several issues with this location.

I shopped there today. When I got into my car to leave,
It took 20 minutes for me to back out of the parking space.
The drive through pharmacy and checklist pick up are
on the same side of the store. Cars continually lined up
blocking me from exiting.

Pharmacy - My wife and I both get our prescriptions
at this location. We have tried various times of day and night
to pick up scripts and wait in long lines because they lack
enough help at the registers to clear the lines. Often we
leave and go back to face the same issue.

My wife needs eye drops to treat glaucoma.
It is a regular need and most times is on back order.

Checklist - too often, as we shop, your employees are blocking
Aisles…stopping us from moving through without waiting or
Turning around to get where we want to be.
It appears your checklist customers are far more important
Than those inside shoppers.

Prices - you made a big deal out of price cuts and our
experience for many items we purchase convinces us
you have raised prices and then the discount
becomes the previous regular price.

I feel sure our business is not important and we have decided
That Miejer will now be our main source to do grocery shopping.

Kenneth Patrick

Kroger parking lot

I was in Collierville at Kroger off Byhalia Rd. I had just picked up dinner at Chick-fil-A for my friend who just lost her fiancé and had her daughter with me. I stopped at that Kroger to purchase her a bottle of wine and when walking to my car talking with her daughter, I stepped in a crack/hole in the parking lot and fell hard. I didn't think much of it at the time because I was more focused on getting the food and wine to my friend. I woke up this morning very sore with swelling and contusions. I would hate to see this happen to someone else. I am going to the doctor today because I am scheduled to fly out to Boston on Thursday morning and need to be make sure no issues prior to flying. This happened around 7pm CT. The lady ahead of me in line witnessed me getting up off the ground and I am sure you can view the fall on the camera.
My cell and Kroger phone is 901.268.1105

Brocolli floret private select handpicked bar code85669. 82155A6 was the worse broccoli I have had. I thought if I purchased the private select brand over the Kroger brand it would be better. Wrong, there were so many hard stems that would get caught between my teeth. I thought i'd Been had. I braid so much more for the private select brand. The Kroger brand was probably better. I'd like a refund.

Kroger scan, bag, and go - or not!

My fiancee likes scanning and bagging so we went through that entire process which took longer than normal. First of all the wine doesn't show the sale price. Plus we had coupons. Fast forward to an hour later and we go to check out and the scanner doesn't work so the Kroger employee takes our scanner and the entire order was erased. We are never trying this again!

Kroger pharmacy

Hello! I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner in Alexandria Louisiana who recently had an encounter with Kroger Pharmacy that I feel you should be aware of. I prescribed a medication to a patient (who's mother is a friend of mine) and she went to have it filled at Kroger Pharmacy. The mother was very upset about her child being put on this medication but it was a last resort. [removed] was the pharmacist on duty, as well as pharmacy tech, Lynn Palmer. The patient's mother was told a "PA should not be prescribing medication like that and they were not sure why a kid would be placed on a medication like that." The mother was upset and called me questioning why they would say this. I called and explained to Katie that I was not a PA and I do not need her to question my patients on the medication I prescribe. I also told her it upset the mother and they would not be back to Kroger's pharmacy and she told me to "Have a nice day" and hung up in my face. The next day my sister, who is a pharmacy tech, at another pharmacy, called to find out the last name of the pharmacist. The pharmacy manager, [removed], called her back and told her she wanted to know why she was asking the last name of her employees and if it was about the "prescriber that called yesterday irate and unprofessional" she told her I "flipped out" (though I never raised my voice) and "she didn't give a damn" "she wished she was there" and said the patient lied and "it was complete [censored]" and hung up in her face. Now I do not know if you record calls but if you do I am requesting you go back and check the records from October 17 around 5:30 and also October 18 around 10.30AM. I would love for you to hear for yourself how your employees in leadership positions are talking to patients and healthcare providers. It is absurd that a manager would ever speak to someone in this manner. I know the patient was not lying about her being questioned by the tech and pharmacist about the medication her kid was being put on because she is a personal friend of mine that would not lie about such. This needs to be investigated because I can tell you I will never use Kroger pharmacy personally and cannot recommend it be used by patient's I prescribe for because I do not want them questioning my medication decisions. If this patient had not been a friend of mine and trusted me, they could have decided since the pharmacist was questioning them, maybe they should find a different provider. This is not ok. If you would like to call me back about this I would love to provide more details.

Kroger being falsely accused of shoplifting

My name Glen butler and I had the worst and the most embarrassing experience in your store located at 5330 Stockton Stockton Blvd in Sacramento California. Me and my sister shopped at rite aid and before we had to catch the bus home I told my sister I had to go to foods co and grab my dogs hot dogs to eat. I had her wait at the bus stop why I went to foods co. She is handicapped and in a wheelchair so I carried the bag of items we purchased at rite aid . Upon entering foodsco there was no security guard at the door…so I carried my rite aid bag in the store and grabbed the hot dogs I needed to buy and got in Natalie's checkout line…I put my rite aid bag on the belt with the 2 packs of hotdogs I was purchasing. The checker Natalee asked me what was in the bag I told her my stuff I bought from rite aid and she then asked me if I. Was trying. To steal the stuff in rite aid bag. At that point I asked her to call a manager and when the manager came he took my bag from rite aid and said he had to go watch the camera and left …upon searching my pockets I found the receipt from rite aid the store manager Kim came up to me I showed her the receipt so she called the other manager who took. My bag of items And told him to bring my stuff that I found the receipt… so then. Kim told me it was my fault about the situation because I should have left my bag with security when I entered the store… there was no security at the door when. I entered…I would like to. Know company procedure in loss prevention.

Kroger wait at customer service counter in humble, tx kroger, to solve cashier mistake

10/19/18 at the Humble, TX Kroger. The person at the cash register did not scan my Kroger card. I knew I had bought some items on special, as I realized upon reaching the parking lot. I went back and waited at the service desk for 37 minutes, with my ice cream melting, Costco purchases in my car getting warm. There was only one person there--I understand it was not her fault, but we asked the person attending the self-check-out area for a manager and he ignored us, we also asked a couple of employees that walked by...no manager showed up. After I was helped (37 minutes later), I asked Liz-the person in customer service--for a number to call my complaint in. At that point she called the manager, Brittany, who was very nice but and said nobody had call her until that point. I feel Liz should have called the manager when we complained, the self-check-out person should have called the manager when we asked him, the couple of employees who told us they were going to get somebody up there should have called the manager--but it looked like nobody cared.

Kroger kroger deli at kroger store on kercheval st.in grosse pointe, mi

The Kroger store deli on Kercheval in Grosse Pointe, MI has lately continually been slicing cheese and piling it is in the picture below.
If I wanted a slab of cheese (can't get the slices apart) I would not have the deli employees slice it!
I used to receive it sliced with a parchment like tissue paper between the layers. This is a lazy shortcut at the consumer's expense! PLEASE have them stop doing this! Thank you.
Also, I stood at the deli counter in the morning with 3 other customers last weekend while 5 (FIVE) employees behind the d liz counter ignored us. I finally left as did one of the other customers!
This Kroger deli used to be excellent and it's sad to have it decline!

Kroger the whole store

I bank at Fifth Third Bank. There is a branch located inside the Kroger near my house. Every time I go into that Kroger to visit my bank, I have to hurdle my way through a dozen carts full of clearance items that they have placed out in the middle of the floor. This is a fire hazard because if the building were to be evacuated, the bank employees and customers would have to fight through these carts to get out. By the time they get all the carts moved out of the way so that they could successfully escape, they would be burnt to a crisp. There has to be a better place than right there to put the sale items. It also blocks the bathrooms. Speaking of bathrooms: EVERY TIME I go into the bathroom at this location, there is NEVER any toilet paper. EVER! I think they ran out years ago and just never ordered more. There was one time I asked an employee if I could use the back bathroom. They let me back there and when I was finished, I went to exit and I was blocked in the bathroom because someone put a whole skip of milk crates RIGHT in front of the door. I had to yell out for help. Again, If the building were to have caught fire then, I would be dead because someone thought it was a good idea to place that THERE... I am so sick of fighting through all of these obstacles in the store just to go to my bank. I wont even get into why I wont shop at this location because I don't have all day to sit here and type about how awful your customer service is at this location or all of the spoiled products I've wasted money on and been refused a refund from the manager. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed. I have pictures of the milk crates trapping me in the bathroom and pictures of the bank basically being blocked in by the dozen carts of sale items. If this issue is not addressed, I will call whoever I have to and report this.

Kroger clicklist

This review is mostly for the clicklist option. We use the Bedford location located on Harwood and Central. We used to use amazon fresh due to the convenience of it and recently switched to kroger clicklist to get the fuel points. So far our experience has not been worth the fuel points. Not once have we had an order come out completely correct. We have been given regular produce or meat and then charged for organic, received obviously rotten or moldy produce. Non gluten free items when ordered gluten free. Been told something was "out of stock" only to go inside and find the item ourselves after the groceries were loaded in the car! Also when ordered buy one get one free options we have either been charged for two and given two or did not receive the free item. We have been hoping for the service to improve due to the fact it is still relatively new, however don't think we will be continuing with this service until they "work out the kinks". I recently spoke with the manger named Jeremy who was very apologetic and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. He seemed to want to make our experience better and thought another clicklist manager named Julia would be able to better help. After several hours she never called as he said she would. When another staff member called to say our order was ready I asked if Julia was available. Julia called me back only to tell me the order was ready for pick up and she wasn't told she was to call back. She had no apologies for that or for the previous issues with our last order. I asked if she knew what the issues were and she replied she did. She offered no help. I fully expected her to at the very least apologize, not degrade her fellow manager who she said was "all over the place and couldn't keep track of him", and do nothing to make us want to stay as a customer. Also acted as if it was an inconvenience to her to have to call a customer back. Not nice on the phone as Jeremy was! I understand things happen but this is happening too often and I'd advise for people looking for a service to help with busy life to take their business elsewhere because this hasn't been worth the "convenience" yet as we had hoped!
