Kroger unethical behavior

i am an employee at kroger and i have worked the company a few months in a different state then tried to transfer and they said i didnt work long enough so i couldnt transfer so i re applied and got hired, well for one thing i was making a dollar and 15 cents more an hour in another state and they based it on my experience over 20 years in cashiering well this store i transferred to are paying me less, and i dont understand why?well another thing is that the employees are very rude in this store, i barely get my breaks on time i always come in early for them and stay over and i never even get a thank you, well i tried to talk to my manager about everything today and he more or less told me to be careful what i say because im just in probation the first 45 days and it be my best interest to just come in do my job and leave not caring about my feelings at all, he said u were hired to work, not make friends.so now im very upset and i cant even talk to management without feeling bad, please could someone tell me what to do about this whole situation?

Kroger baked chicken from the kroger deli (cartersville, ga)

I purchased baked chicken tonight at my local Cartersville Kroger Deli; 2 thighs, two legs. One bite at dinner and I found cold, wet, bloody meat. Plus the smell was repulsive due to it being raw.

I called the store 6x; no one ever answered. I wanted to be sure that they pulled the chicken from the deli for safety and also seek a refund for my $9.

The chicken is in a plastic bag in my refrigerator. I have alerted my family in the rare instance that I become deathly ill with salmonella, or whatever horrible malady occurs when you eat raw poultry, and unable to speak. Funny, I travel all over the world and am always concerned about food safety. Bangladesh. ..seems like a reasonable concern. Cartersville, Ga? Guess I'll have to add you to that list. Not cool Kroger. Get a meat thermometer. ..Isle 3, before you kill someone.

Kroger loaf 'n jug. #64- 2119 e 4th st troy ave. pueblo, co 81001

I was absolutely offended tonight. By a disrespectful, angry, clearly lazy employee. I spend a lot of money at your stores. I am a combat vet suffering through some pretty debilitating PTSD, trying to raise my son alone. Sometimes I spend nights awake, but rarely do I go across the street to your store after the doora close. I live directly across the street, most days while I read out front or play with my son outside, we swing on in for some coffee, chocolate milk and doughnuts. I was tonight refused service by a disgustingly disrespectful man. For theft. I never Once have stolen Anything from your stores and have called the police on people who steal from you, even a neighbor of mine, who subsequently got kicked out for said theft. After his theft we 'of the building' got him kicked out, for that and other like activities. I have never been spoken to so disrepectfully by a professional of any field.
I'm severely pissed that I would be treated like this by an establishment to which I have remained loyal and friendly.
Ask any of your employees if they know 'the blonde guy with the son that lives across the street? All of them will tell you Im a friendly honest supporting guy. I keep junkies and thieves out of our building the best I can, without being the owner/manager. I am absolutely appalled I would be accused of theft and refused service, by what clearly was a lazy fat employee interrupted in his 'lunch'. I spend lots of money there. I expect to be treated with mutual respect and integrity, not accused of a crime I never committed, nor would I commit such a crime, and refused service so disrespectfully?!
I can't believe you at Kroger would support such toxicity among your employees towards customers, I have been going there because of convenience, but now I think I will find myself a less toxic and dishonest business to give my money to, after I inform you that your representatives conduct is going to lose you customers, especially after the bad ratings start rolling in. People want to be treated with mutual respect. That's what I went and fought for. Why can't I have it here, in the heart of America?! Shameful...
If you are interested in terminating this higjly offensive man, he is a fat, greasy grey lazy offensive man. I forget his name right now, but I couldn't stand there listening to his BS excuses. I have never, nor would I ever steal from your, or any, store. I Used to like all of the people who work there. Until I get accused of a crime and humiliated, even though I am a known honorable vet who works hard to try to keep this block clean and frequently spends money in your store and helps keep junkies and thieves from invading.
That man should be ashamed of himself. Working tonight, Sept 5, it occurred at about 1:30 AM. I thoroughly believe it was just an excuse to go back to eating. What kind of disgusting, unproffesional humans do you hire in your business? I believe you should fire him. If you check your cameras, I'd bet he alone is costing you 5k/ qtr. If not more. You should fire him. He is toxic for your entire workplace I would be willing to bet.

Kroger customer service at fuel kiosk

At the Harrison Ohio store at approximately 11:05 p.m. on Saturday I filled up with diesel fuel on pump 8. I was done feeling up and hung fuel handle back up and pushed for receipt it said to see cashier. For that being said I see that someone was not feeling the paper for receipts. So I continue to go to the kiosk and I seen a woman in their counting money I guess she was closing and then up her shift. I said ma'am she said we're closed ma'am I just were closed. She continued to cut me off 3 times I was just I was calm I was just needed a receipt she would not even let me finish what I was trying to say I believe that is horrible customer service. So from there I go inside to see if they can print me a receipt from the pump that was on because I need to turn that into my boss to get reimbursed for fuel. I waited probably 5 minutes somebody come out and help me she tried calling like 3 or 4 different people she didn't know how to get printed receipt out for the kiosk So after that she took my email address said she could probably email me one well I've never received anything yet and I will not be reimbursed for the fuel approximately 48 to $50 I wasn't exactly sure how much it was I will not being reimbursed for that for my boss because I do not have a receipt and cannot prove it. There's got to be some way that you guys can track a receipt it took my money off my debit card but I still did not receive a receipt. By the way the ladies name in the kiosk was Michelle

Kroger butcher

September 2, 2017 16:00

I have lived in Houston in the same neighborhood for over 11 years now and have always done all my grocery shopping at your Kroger

I went to the Butcher department and asked for two chicken breasts. I asked if I could have them cut up for me. The gentleman at the counter looked puzzled and yelled back to his coworker, " Hey Mike can we cut up chicken breast for her?" Mike replies, "No we don't do that." I said, " Okay I don't need anything then." I was in disbelief that a butcher would not chop a chicken breast for me. Upon checking out my cashier Mishanae did not greet me. While checking out I asked if I could speak to a manager. I was not acknowledged. Thinking that she didn't hear me I asked again. She called and the manager Tiffany came over. I explained what happened and stated that I just wanted to express my complaint of a butcher who wouldn't cut chicken. Tiffany explained maybe the certified butcher is not there and that some workers are just meat handler. I didn't find this likely as there were at least two individuals in the meat department. She started to tell me how Houston has just been through a hurricane and how she doesn't have staff. She tells me to hold on so she can look for Mike. I told her I'm no longer interested in the chicken ma'am. She attempted again to have me wait while she reached the butcher. I told her that I was done and left.
First and foremost I do not like being lied to. Secondly, the hurricane is not an excuse that you don't want to do your job. If both men were not certified to cut meat then they would have stated as such. Everyone here is strained from Hurricane Harvey, some more than others however this victim behavior is absurd. There are people who are truly in need much more than this up and running grocery store. I want nothing to do with this type of thinking. The store is operating full hours and was not out of any products nor appeared to be understaffed. Since the meat department was fully stocked as well I'm assuming that there was a butcher. I will no longer be shopping at Kroger. I will be taking all my business to HEB.

Kroger bad customer service

I went in to buy a frozen dinner and a roll of quarters. The lady, Angela that assisted me made me do two different transactions. She didn't even say that was what she was doing until she told me the amount for the frozen dinner. After she was doing the quarters I asked why she did two transactions and she didn't even give me a reason. She wouldn't even let me run my card again. I left the store feeling irritated and upset. If you have to do two transactions let your customer know. Don't just all of a sudden tell your customer the total without even telling them.

Kroger donating baked goods or treats

I work with an organization called SERVE in Lexington Ky. Every Wednesday evening at 6:00 a group of us serve the homeless a hot meal with fruit and bake goods (when I can get them). Kroger on Euclid in Lexington was letting me get bake goods on Wednesday morning. The only time that I needed them. They only give to God Pantry and the Hope Center because someone abused the privilege. I cannot get anyone else to donate because Gods Pantry has Lexington sewed up.
I would love for Kroger to help my mission out as well since I shop there and because you do give.

Kroger your ad dated august 30, 2017

I sent someone to Kroger's to get soft drinks because your ad had Cokes, Pepsi and Dr. Peppers 4 for $12. At the check out counter we were told that Kroger's were not honoring their ad. I advised her to talk to the manager and he also stated that we could not get the soft drinks for the ad price because of the hurricane. I would be more understanding if the shelves were bare but they had plenty. We were only getting a variety of 20 of the 12 packs.
Our situation was having soft drinks for the crews helping with the hurricane. This was also told to the manager and he would not let us have the sale price. No where in the store was a sign saying that the ad was not honored. We do a lot of shopping at Kroger's and I was very disappointed.
We went to HEB because they had the same ad and they honored it.

Kroger stale product disguised

Today, August 30, 2017 I purchased a loaf of bread in a wrapper claiming "FRESH" and "IN STORE BAKED BREAD". The price was marked as "2/$3.00 with Card". When I got home I found it curious that the usually open end of the bag containing the bread was taped shut. I thought nothing of it until I took a bite of a slice. It was stale and the end of the bag had been taped shut in an obvious attempt to try to preserve a modicum of freshness, an effort that failed miserably. A secondary issue that I had not thought of until I started this note was the price. If the cost was two for three dollars with a Kroger's card, why did I pay $3.00 when using my Kroger card - more accurately, $2.99 - for a single, stale loaf.

I have complained about the Kroger operation before. Why is 25 mg. of Diphenhydramine HCl more expensive as a sleeping aid than the same amount of the same chemical when it is labeled an allergy relief medication. Certainly it can't be just that the sleep aid is blue while the allergy medication is pink. And, further, frequently I have noticed that a larger size labeled with some suggestion that it a bargain actually has a unit cost greater than the smaller size. It is a crummy way of chasing profitability.

In the past, I have threatened to take my business to a bigger store - Brookshires - which is much more spacious with wider aisles, and bag boys who insist on pushing one's grocery cart to one's vehicle. However, I caved on my threat because it is more distant and the Kroger store has pretty much everything that I shop for. I just have to be very careful about checking the prices of items.

The store is badly managed. The bakery staff didn't decide on their own to tape up bread bags. Common products - bananas, for heaven's sake, or a particular brand of cat food - are sometimes not in stock.

I would like a refund of $2.99 for what should have been a $1.50 loaf of fresh, not stale, bread.

I did not see a store number on the cash register receipt, but it is the only Kroger store in Palestine, Texas.

Obviously, I cannot "Attach all available documents". There are two numbers on the receipt: AID: A0000000042203 and TC:A918411ED6A0B04.

Kroger cashier

I went to the Kroger in Alvin, Tx today. I am very fearful going there because of 2 armed robberies recently in the parking lot. At the checkout I said this to the cashier, she promptly told me " that first woman was stupid and should have never gone to her truck if someone was near it" I told her you don't know what was going on with the lady that day and you shouldn't blame the victim !
I was so upset for a cashier to be talking this way! We are all a bit on edge right now in Houston, but this was inappropriate!

Kroger kroger clicklist

I submitted my Clicklist grocery list mid afternoon on 27 August for the Kroger at 12611Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY. The only available time slot to pick up my groceries was between the hours of 9PM - 10PM. This was my first time using this service, and thought I'd give it a try to avoid spending valuable personal off time inside a very busy Kroger store. I arrived to this Kroger at 9:55PM and proceeded to dial the number provided on the sign. The phone rang approximately 10-12 times before someone picked up the phone at 9:56PM. The gentleman who answered said he believed they had already left for the evening. He transferred me to the shift manager. She told me that they sent home their personnel, and that she either one could not get me my groceries or it would take a very long time for her to look at my list and then go and reshop for my items that were already prepared. I told her I did not want to wait 30-45 minutes, and that if their service ended at 10PM, why was nobody working when they should have been expecting me as a customer, since that was my designated pick up time. She proceeded to state that her lead Clicklist employee advised her that there was nobody remaining to pick up their groceries. I was dumbfounded on how she as the manager did not have a list and confirmed that everyone on it for especially the 9PM - 10PM time slot received their groceries before sending employees home. I said that I would accept 1 of 2 things, that she call her employee back in so that I could receive my groceries or I wanted a store credit in the amount of my groceries for the poor lack of service provided and for spending time, and mileage coming to the store, and leaving empty handed without my groceries. She said she had to go to customer service and asked me to hold on the line, I said OK. She came back and said that I would need to come inside for a refund, to which I said you've got to be kidding me, that's obviously something that would have to be done, and in addition, I expected to be credited with some sort of credit for the lack of service and not honoring a commitment to their customer, since it was before 10PM! I asked her if my card had already been charged, and she said that until I sign receipt of my groceries that it's not charged. I replied to this asking her why I would need a refund then if my card was not charged, and she said she had been there for a long time today, to which made matters worse, considering as a customer, that's one of the reasons I used the "lack of service", because I work many hours during the week, and do not need to be told that the reason I didn't have my groceries was because she had been there for a long time today! I asked her if she thought it was right or wrong that before it was 10PM, she let her employees go when customers were expected at the store. She said it wasn't right. She offered me a $30 credit, and I asked her if she really thought that was going to suffice, considering on Sunday evening prior to the workweek, I now didn't have my groceries for lunch, breakfast, etc.?! I asked her for the Store Manager so that I could address the issue directly with him. She gave me his name. I certainly hope that when I speak with him that he has a better response and solution to this matter!

Kroger diesel fuel

I just purchased $48 of diesel fuel at store #758. Within 20 minutes of filling my tank, my 'water in fuel' light came on. I called spoke to Jenny, and she said that there had been other complaints today from people that there was water in the fuel! I don't understand why I was still able to purchase fuel from a pump when the store had been made aware of the water! Please call me!
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Kroger poor to no produce

Hello,
For about a month now I have been noticing that the produce has been slim pic kin's as well as poor quality. I found various greens rotting on the shelf and wondered where the employees were that should be maintaining this area. I asked an employee that I wanted to talk to a manager and so I waited. While waiting I noticed other customers were looking and some shook their heads and walked away. Finally I got tired of waiting and went to the customer service desk and asked for the produce manager. She ask what it was pertaining to ad I told her. She called someone and spoke to them for a minute then said to me that someone will be here shortly. A "manger" named Matt came to me and we talk about the produce area. At the same time there were 2 stock guys with "fresh" produce in tow. I got what I needed and left but needed to return the next day for something else. I returned the next day and went to the produce section again for spinach but the produce section looked the same as the day before. Still had produce rotting on the shelf, low to no selection and no employees maintaining the area. I simply left and went to Sprouts where I found what I needed in good condition.

Now a month or so later I went back one evening and found the same problems again but I needed kale so I bought what I could get. The next morning I pulled the kale out to use and it stunk. It started rotting overnight. The rest of my produce was just fine so it wasn't my refrigerator. So back to Kroger again to get that replaced.

We have a neighborhood website covering 1600 or more people. For the last couple of months I have seen a number of complaints about this Kroger store going down hill over the last few years. This year I noticed to be the worst and even though I will have to drive many miles more I will be taking my business elsewhere. Why go to Kroger with poor to no produce when I can go to Sprouts, Aldi or Walmart where I know I can get what I want and it will be in stock and in good shape.

Something needs to change at this Kroger. It sad when the Kroger warehouse is only a few miles away and this store is being run in such a poor way.

Kroger kroger fuel #294

The fuel did not give me credit for the $.30 I had earned. It did not credit me with ANY savings, not even the $.03 for having a Kroger card. When I brought it to the attendant she tried to correct the issue. She said they had been having trouble with a couple of the pumps not giving customers their points. She called customer service (store), their solution was to refund the rest of the money I had pre-paid and try again. I said I was going to put in $20 instead of filling up. Then the pump did not work at all. Again customer service had a solution, I could walk into the store, wait in line and they would give me the $2.09 I had spent. Apparently my time and inconvenience is worth $2.09. This is unacceptable. Makes me wonder if someone is tampering with the pumps, glad I used cash and not my card!
