Kohl's loss prevention

A month or so ago, my best friend and I went to kohl's, to get her son something for his birthday. We look at stuff for ourselves and tried things on then we went to the men's department to get my husband and her son something. Then I said hey I want to go look at the women's business shirts which was a different section then we firsted looked at and then I stop in the little girl section cause my daughter had been wanting a "yellow princess dress" so i was seeing if they had something like that which they did not but I had found three shirts I wanted to try on in the business section one that zipped up in the back and as all women do when you can't reach a zipper and you want to zip something up to wear or to make sure it will fit zipped I ask her to come in the dressing room and zip it up for me so she did of course I didn't end up liking any of the shirts so I hung them all back up and she brought two shirts with her in the dressing room then walked out with the same two shirts she walked in with in her hand and called her son to see if he would like either one he told her no and so she left them sitting on the bench I got back in my own clothing and brought the three shirts out with me and hung them on the return rack inside the dressing room area for thing you don't want. And her and I walked out of the store. We didn't like anything we tried and her som didn't want the shirts so we walked out of the store about 20 steps outside she was walking behind me and 3 people come outside and jump right in front her asking her to go back in side with them they didn't say who they were or anything the girl kiss prevention officer was chest bumping my friend as she tried to walk away from the three people yelling in her face and they didn't approach me so I kept walking then when I get to the car the girl came up to me and said I know she took something is it in your purse or hers and I said I don't know what your talking about and she went back to my friend grabbing her by the arm and being extremely aggressive and my friend managed to get in the car and we drove off then we get pulled over by owasso police and they asked to search the car and our purses and we allow them to they find clothes she had in a suit case in the very back of her car because at the time she was going through a divorce and was staying in tulsa although she lived in Edmond she just didn't want to have to live with her soon to be ex husband through the divorce so she had clothes and stuff with her for the weekend anyway they find things that kohl's sales in the suit case no price tags no security devices no stickers of size nothing on them to show they were from kohl's or that they were new and not purchased but the cops allowed the prevention officer to put us both under citizens arrest and took us to jail and I had outstanding warrant for driving under suspension so they were gonna take me either way which I was fine with but to give me a larceny from a retailer charge when I didn't steal nothing just because my friend had perviously bought items in a suit case that they said matched somewhat to the things we took in the dressing room together and because we 2 females went in the same dressing room and didn't buy anything they said it looked like we were working together to steal I feel this is probably caused by the quota the kids prevention has to meet or just very poor observation and judgement but I think it's absolutley ridiculous and messed up that I have to pay 500-1000 dollars for an attorney to fight a case that should have never even been a altercation to begin with from loss prevention

Kohl's croft and barrow sandals

I have two pairs of Croft and Barrow sandals that are identical except for the color. One pair is white, the other a light green. They are not new, but each has been worn very little and show no signs of wear on the bottoms. The white pair has been worn a few times more than the green, and I've had no problems. With the green pair, however, the color layer of the inside of the shoe has begun to peel away. After only an hour or so of wear, the inside of the shoe sticks to my feet, so when I take them off, the thin layer of the shoe tears away in large sections.. It is not in any way due to sweat or anything from my feet, because the same thing is happening to the color material on the side of the shoe, which is not in contact with my feet. At this time the sides are just separating, or "bubbling up", however, and have not actually peeled away.

I would appreciate any assistance you could provide in this situation.

Kohl's sandal defective

I recently purchased sandals from Koh'ls Department store in Smithfield, RI.

When I got home I noticed a nail in the sole of the shoes sticking out inwardly.
I did not try this shoe on in the store, but tried the other one for fitness
(thank goodness). Even the cashier who inspect the shoes to make sure they are the right size, did not even notice.

I did take the sandals back to the store and did get a refund.

I thought it was important to let you know this.

Someone else if they had tried on both sandals could of gotten hurt badly.

Kohl's customer service

My husband and I decided to go use some Kohl's cash I had this past Thursday, May 30 at the Jacksonville, FL location on Old St. Augustine Rd. We have a 6 month old daughter who was being extremely clingy & my husband couldn't keep her happy because she just wanted to be with me. Obviously, I couldn't hold my daughter & try on clothes at the same time. I had my husband just come in the large fitting room stall with me to hold her in my sight & keep her happy like we have before. We were talking the whole time, baby was laughing and "talking", people (employees and customers) were in and out, and no one said a word to us. As we were leaving the dressing rooms, baby in tow, an employee named Annette (I believe, it was hard to read because her nametag was mostly covered) yelled at us and asked why my husband was in the fitting room. I told her he was trying to help me with my baby who was being fussy. Her response was "I don't care what he was doing, he could've stood out here with her! A woman ran out of the rooms the other day because there was a man in there!" Ok... not my problem? They all look unisex to me. Would you rather my husband come and sit in the stall with our baby and me to keep her happy, or have her screaming bloody murder outside of the fitting rooms because she can't see me?

There are no signs specifying rooms are for specific gender or a specific gender is not allowed. I asked her if the rooms said somewhere that they were only for women and she just rolled her eyes, grabbed clothes off the return rack and took off putting things back. The other employee that happened to be standing there just let out a chuckle and rolled her eyes while shaking her head, as if this is something the Annette lady does often (overreacts and is rude to customers).

I mean, what if I had a disability and needed my husband's assistance? What if he comes to this location with our daughter once she is older; would he not be allowed to help her in the fitting room?

There are NO policies posted stating any sort of rules for the fitting rooms, not even like a clothing limit. So, I feel her yelling and and response was completely uncalled for. I wanted to just drop everything and not buy stuff but we'd spent countless hours poring over the clearance racks and trying things on, so I decided to go ahead and make the purchase.

Kohl's kohls cash scam

I ordered $457 dollars worth of items from Kohls online. I checked out and it stated $90 in kohls cash to use. I went to use my Kohl's cash from the separate email they send stated $20. I spoke with someone...oooh yes we will fix the issue, few days later I email chat with someone and said the same thing. Well two weeks later...I get someone saying I didn't order on the day of the promotion. It said my order went through at 12:05am...Mind you I placed the order around 11am and even if so...really 5 whole minutes. Then they said it is computer generated and can't be fixed or incorrect. So I guess computers never make mistakes...so then they are basically are telling me...Kohls scams people on purpose...when it could have been a computer issue. I am returning ever item, which sucks because I had another $500 to spend today and you would think that would have been worth the extra $70 in Kohls cash.

Kohl's purchase with coupon

Order # [protected] shortly after I completed the order I had a $10.00 off coupon in my email from Kohls. I called back and was told the order was processing but the associate took the coupon number and said to call back the next day and they would be able to deduct the coupon. I called the next day and they took the coupon code/number again and said they would provide a credit of 10.00 in 5-7 days. Still no credit I called today and was told the birthday coupon of 10.00 was not valid on my purchase of a Columbia jacket. This is the first that I've heard this and basically they were unwilling to honor what 2 previous employees supposedly documented and told me that they would do in my account. Very frustrating.

Kohl's shark vacuum

I ordered the SHARK NV352 from online for the main reason that your website had stated on the description that it comes with a pet power brush. The vacuum arrives, I assembled it and noticed there was no pet power brush. I contacted Kohls and spoke to someone outside the US that was of no assistance and all she could say was the item was deleted off your website so she could not look at the description. I have screen shots of your description for this product. I like the vacuum and do not necessarily want to return it. I just want the pet power brush that you had falsely advertised would be with this model vacuum when you posted it on your site.

Kohl's corporate refund - is this a scam? a joke on customers?

I wish I had came to this site,... Before returning my gold earrings (2 pair) to kohls... On 02-15-2019... A piece broke off one of the earring on each set. I probably would have just taken them to the pawn shop and sold them... Saved myself the headache of going through this.

I had my receipts and sku numbers for the jewelry. After 2 kohls workers tried forever to pull up my items... A 3rd joined the group... And... They were finally able to find them. My "corporate refund" is supposed to be around $800.00. If I do not get my refund in a timely manner... Definitely by the first week in march... I am glad I signed up for the "legal services" through my company... Which provides free access to lawyers... And I will be proceeding with legal action. Along with filing a complaint with the better business bureau... And putting kohls on blast on any social media... Website that I can... Will be closing that account. As another person stated... Kohls offers the "no hassle return service - with no expiration date on items you purchase"... If kohls will not stand by their promises... Don't make promises things just to get business!

I will come back the first week of march... If I have not received my so called "corporate refund"... And will return if have... And post an update...

Update: 02-25-2019: called that so called customer care number (800-837-0302) and was on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and received the message:

We have reached the limit for calls today

Really kohls? I'm going to try again tomorrow, 02-26-2019... And if I don't get any resolution... I'm filing with the better business bureau... And contacting an attorney.

Kohl's credit card electronic bills

In Dec 2018, I bought some Christmas toys at Kohls in Wilmington, DE. I was to receive and electronic bill at my personal email. The bill never came and I forgot about the purchase. On Feb 22, I got a delinquent balance email from Kohl's and 2 phone calls.

I called to rectify the billing. The person on the phone could not explain why I never got my bill or why it took two months to be contacted about it. All the info they needed was accurate in my profile.

I told my story to a colleague who had the same exact experience along with 2 others I work with. Four people in the same company (different states) can not be a coincidence.

I will cancel my account and stop shopping at Kohl's. Then I will tell everyone I can about my experience.

Got Fitbit versa2 for birthday from my daughter, went to return to get store credit. They would not give me store credit. Item was in unopened box. they said I had 30 days to return it. went about 2 weeks after I got it.
what ever happened to customer is always right, customer satisfaction. I've been a Kohl's member since it opened. company was great when it first open, great value and customer service. Now everything is over priced and customer service there is none, only there bottom line. I've probably going to stop shopping there. no customer satisfaction.

Kohl's dana buchman straight leg ponte slacks

My daughter purchased ponte pants (one black, one grey) in December. The identifying information on the pants is a number:[protected]. The grey pants are fine, however the black pants, every time worn, the color bleeds on to material surfaces (i..e. bled on to my white upholstered dining room chair and my chair at my office. Also bled on my underwear. I had been instructed to wash them in salt or vinegar and did both, to no avail. Please advise as to what I can do to rectify this situation. Kohl's aerogarden seed pods

I purchased some of the aerogarden seed pods from the Kohls in Tigard, OR. Usually I get a yield from 7 out of 8 pods. The current box of herbs that I purchased (box of 6) has produced 2 of the 6. This product is expensive and to have only 2 of the pods produce is very disappointing and now based on the lack of growth I will have to throw away the viable ones. This is unacceptable and extremely frustrating. Please provide feedback on how to resolve this issue.

Kohl's returns

Yesterday I returned 2 shirts that was to small I was told because I had earned Kohls cash they took 15.00 off of my return wasn't given a option to exchange kept telling her I didn't receive Kohls cash she said it was earned so she didn't care if I received it or not and you can check thru my Number I have never spent any kohls cash before so I feel like you all have the shirt and my money for it that's like stealing my money and my number is [protected] if I had left your store without paying for something that would be me stealing, so how do you think I feel. If I had paid for it with kohls cash I would have fully understood, or even used kohls cash I would have understood . But this I don't understand.

Kohl's kroft and barrow

I purchased a pair of these ortho light shoes since my job requires me to be on my feet all day. Just after a few months the heal collapsed. This is very dangerous and can potentially lead to serious leg injury. Fortunately for me I was walking in a straight line had I been turning a corner things could have been much worse. These should be pulled off the shelves. Way to much money for such poor design.

Kohl's corporate refund?

I have called Kohls corporate at least 10 times in the last 2 weeks. I have been stuck on hold for hours, and have left several messages for a return phone call. Sometimes called during normal CT time (1pm) acknowledging their time zone and have been prompted by their phone ques "They have reached their maximum call volune for the day" please call back. Too many attempts for a paying customer to try to retrieve their refund. I know its holiday season and retail is busy, not sure if this department really exists. This will have to be brought to the better business bureau and then proceed accordingly. All this for a simple $100 refund?

Kohl's there delivery return process

I ordered a gaming chair for my 8 year old Son for Christmas. Kohls delivered a different product by mistake (A record player) I called them, they said I had to go to store and return it, or mail it back. I am not waiting 1 hour on return line, to return something I did not order. Customer service said they would NOT issue REFUND unless < went to store and return the WRONG PRODUCT THEY SENT.
I sent this info to local district attorney, can t be legal to charge for me something I did not order, than demand I waste my time returning it

Kohl's online order

I placed an order for a nintendo switch bundle at 12:01am on 11/22/18 because that's when the doorbuster started (so I really stayed up late on 11/21 for it). The next day, I got the notification that it was "ready for shipment". The expected date of delivery was nov. 28-30, 2018. I called 7 days later since it never showed up online to be shipped but only to be told that the expected date is just really an estimate so I should waitlist until dec. 6. Mind you, my son has been waiting for this game the moment I ordered it only to be told he has to wait until dec. 6. Anyway, after taking a lot of phone calls, I was told they won't refund me until after dec.6, 2018. They did not even care that I needed this already. They don't care at all! As of right now, no one has gotten back at me about my refund of $350+ and they seem to not have plans at all. I am very disappointed!

Kohl's poor service at kohl's store 0481

The cashier neglected to remove the security clip from a top that I purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas. So, instead of wrapping presents, I'll be venturing back to the store! This was AFTER she failed to ring-up the entire order for the woman ahead of me which resulted in her not getting her $50.00 Total spent in order to receive her $10.00 Kohl's cash reward. "nice" Rush-Rush-Rush, but not quality work ethics.

I ordered the fitbit ace on Nov 19, 2018. Received an email stating my order had been shipped. Days later trying to track the shipment and could never get it to pull up. Contacted FedEx on November 30, 2018 to see why I had not received my order and could not track it and was informed Kohl's sent them the shipping label but never the item and to contact Kohl's. Spoke with a guy at Kohl's, he was very rude from the beginning of the conversation. He continuously told me to call back Monday Dec 3, 2018 to refund my money, without telling me what happened to my order and why it would be refunded. He finally stated they were not out of stock. I am very disappointed and do not foresee shopping with Kohl's in the future. Had I known it was out of stock I could have ordered from somewhere else. It was a Christmas gift for my son. I will not be shopping at Kohl's again. I have and will continue to tell family and friends of this poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I shouldn't have been able to purchase it if it was not in stock. I should have at least been notified and money refunded once discovered the product was out of stock. Better yet money should not be taking out of one's account until item is shipped!

About a month ago, I purchased 4 Croft and Barrow men"s mock turtle necks at the Kohl's store in Saugus Mass. I have worn each of them less than a half dozen times, and they are the WORST ! The shirts are cotton /polyester and each has been washed about 4-5 times .They have lost shape, the elastic wrists and necks have lost their stretch, and they now look and fit terrible and aren't even wearable . I have never bought an item that I was so disappointed with the quality of these item these are awful and Kohl's should not even sell this junk. I would like to return them if I can find the sales slip. In any case this situation has left me a very unhappy Kohl's customer . Sincerely Thomas Lynch

Kohl's wrong size item sent, now out of stock

I love Kohls, just wanted to give a suggestion on some not so good customer service. I ordered a winter coat (available only online), size M and it came in the mail, loved the coat but a little too tight. Went into my local Kohls store (which I love and they employees are awesome) and they said to order another one from their Kiosk (because coat is an online item only). Once it arrived they said to bring both coats in and do a return and exchange so I could get the second coat at the great price I received the first (30% off). Second coat came and Kohls sent me an XL instead of a Large. My PRINTOUT from the Kiosk shows that I correctly ordered a Large (so it was not my mistake). Also online it showed I ordered a large when I tried to return the jacket. Why I am frustrated is that Kohls made a mistake and sent me the wrong size and now the coat is out of stock. I don't know if they were out of stock and just sent another size to me or what. I ordered another coat and I get nothing, not even expeditated shipping. I live in MN so I really need a coat! My local store was great but if Kohls online makes a mistake and there is no one to talk to I am afraid it is another time I will have to start ordering from Amazon. I like Kohls but this is crappy service and very frustrating. Hoping this is a trend for this store.
