Knight Rider GPS by Mio / employee opened up played with merchandise then repackaged it !

I went to Radio Shack on black friday to get the new Knight Rider GPS. Did'nt see any on the shelf when I asked the clerk said they had #1 in the stockroom when he brought it out and put it on the counter to ring it up noticed the security seal had been opened. The clerk said they had opened it up to see if it sounded like KITT in the original Night Rider show then showed me the GPS was in the box. It wasn't until I got home and examined the contents a little closer I saw everything in the box had been opened. It would be nice if the employees are going to open the merchandise up and play with it they would cut the price and sale it as USED! What really gets me is the clerk was not even going to own up to opening the GPS unit and playing with it until I called him on it !!! Also I sent a complaint to Radio Shack NO RESPONSE so I called them STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM THE EMAIL OR PHONE CALL. If this is the way Radio Shack is going to do business they have lost mine!

    I suggest you call Radio Shack and find out who the District Business Manager is for that store and call him/her directly. That is who you want to speak too. The store manager as well. But you'll get better results with the DBM. I used to work in sales. Let me know the outcome. And, yes a discount shoule be granted or a brand new GPS. Don't settle. Open boxes always cost less and are more likely to be faulty! Personally, I would just ask for a new one. Good luck, Maria
