Kmart just know understanding

I went to get a pair of shoe that I could wear after foot surgery. The short shoes I got are fine but my complaint is, that there was a sign that said buy one and get the other one 50% off. When we went to check out the young man said the it was shorts wear. I than ask him why it was in the shoe department. Than we went to use my sister Kmart points card and he said since he had looked it up my phone number he would have to have my sister's password. I asked if he could start over and he said NO. Than a woman from customer service came up and I told her it was wrong. So my sister said we could go to customer service and return them and than use her points. But the woman never came back to customer service. I just feel that we was not treated far. The shoes was $9.99 a pair and I got 2. Not sure what can be done but I think that you should place signs where they go. My sister go every Wedneday after she gets off of work just to walk around and look at what you might have on sell. Don't think she will be coming this week

I have a confession to make. My sister told me to put the sign from the shorts section to the shoes section in hopes that they honor the price. My sister does this all the time every Wednesday when she gets off of work because her job does not pay her well. She is 22 and older than me and I look up to her.

Kmart poor customer service and unclean

I was visiting some relatives in Pymatuning and I pass a Kmart on my way there. I needed diapers for my baby and my husband and I were looking at a gift for a birthday. We went into the infant section to get the diapers and I thought I would browse baby clothes on my way through. I couldn't go through the infant clothes because there were clothes all over the floor. I was a little disgusted that they would let their store look that way but continued to the diapers. We then went back to the sporting goods area to see if they had a gun rack. My husband moved a few things to see some products but didn't see what he wanted so we headed to the check out. We have a rewards card and a discount card but my husband forgot to use the discount card before swiping his card so he asked if he could use it and the cashier said she didn't know how to fix it and re-ring it so we couldn't do it. So, of course we left irritated. We went back about a month later to get a few simple things and we went through the sporting goods section and my husband noticed that the things he had moved a month before when he was browsing were still in the same place. No one had moved it. To me, that shows how well they take care of their store... THEY DON'T. I don't plan on stopping there again. I was very displeased with that store.

Kmart security

About a month or so ago I was walking through Kmart, shopping, browsing at clothing.

My phone was ringing, so obviously I answered it, stood there, talking for a few, it was someone I hadn't heard from in quite some time.

After about 10 minutes, I continue shopping, grabbing clothing I want to try on.. All of a sudden this woman starts charging toward me saying "you're up to something, I know it!" and I just looked at her..strangely...

She grabbed my clothing out of my hands and cart and started looking at the tags..I have NO clue as to why? I was so annoyed, why would someone think I was stealing? I looked at her and said "excuse me? am I not allowed to browse the clothing?" The woman threw the clothing back at me, leaving them all ON THE FLOOR. I left them there and marched to a manager. I found a manager and explained everything to him, I explained that I am a 22 year old woman who would never steal a thing in her life, I apparently look like a broke college student.

The man said "Oh I'm sorry" I told him I would NEVER shop at ANY Kmart ever again and all he said was "then i guess that's your choice" I called the General manager the next day..He said the exact same thing. I wrote a letter to corperate and they didn't even seem concerned. One time someone actually said "what are you trying to get a gift card out of us or something?" NO I am not, I am trying to get my voice heard for other people who may shop at Kmart, and get the stare down, especially if they are honest and loving people, on a budget.

Kmart promised delivery date not met

I ordered a mp3/mp4 player with expedited shipping - 2nd day air shipping on august 30 with promised delivery date by september 1 or 2 when I placed the order. However after I placed the order I found out that delivery date is sep 7.

So

A) I paid for expedited 2nd day air shipping for nothing

B) kmart won't cancel the order because that is their policy that once they ship they will not cancel the order unless you wait for delivery and either reject delivery or accept delivery and return to the store.

I made the mistake of buying Sears/Kmart gift cards so now I am stuck with them.

Kmart lured me into a order with a fake delivery date; once I placed the order they took my money and changed the delivery date on me without allowing me to cancel the order due to their mistake.

In my quite long experience buying from walmart and amazon and never had this issue or the kind of issues that I am having with Sears / Kmart; this is just one of them. With Sears / Kmart it seems that it is systematic; a systematic attempt to take advantage of the customer. At least this is my experience.

Just compare the return policies of Walmart and Kmart and you can see who is on the side of the customer and who is on the side of taking advantage of the customer.

Sears Kmart lies to me about their price matching policy and does nothing to fix it.
Sears Kmart lies to me about their delivery date of my order and they do nothing to fic it.
Sears Kmart lies to me about providing accurate receipts and they do nothing about it.
Sears Kmart executive customer service is rude and unhelpful towards me and they do nothing about it.
And the list goes on and on

They promised me a date while I was placing the order.

Once the order was placed they immediately changed the delivery date.

Given my experience with lies and misinformation and shady sales practices from Sears / Kmart; I tend to think that this was not an accident but it could be done by design.

In any case it is irrelevant whether it was an accident or not or if it was an holiday or not; when a business promises something and they do not deliver on the promise they are supposed to make up for it somehow.
But I would not be suprised that Sears / Kmart is out of cash for running their normal operations, including payroll etc and they will not take care of their customers; just mislead them as they have done with me in multiple occasions.

Walmart, Amazon and other retailers seem to deliver what they promise.

Also knowing Kmart / Sears they will probably never refund the $8.99 worth of the shipping because they probably do not have any cash left for fixing their mistakes or customer goodwill compensation.

I placed an order for 2 business day expedited delivery and when I placed the order they promised delivery by today.

However once they processed the order they told me that delivery was expected on sep 7; but of course it was too late to cancel the order because Kmart / Sears does not cancel orders; the obligation is on the customer to return the item back to them or to a store.
They do not cancel orders even if they make mistakes apparently.

I contacted customer service via email about this, including their "highest level" of customer service and instead of helping me they keep wasting my time.

I think you are mistaken with their policy. When they 2 day shipping, that means 2 days from the day they send it to you, not from the day you order it. Do you have in writing that it would be delivered today or just 2 day shipping? When you ordered it on Aug 30, for whatever reason, it didn't get processed and shipped until today. Sep 7 is 2 business days from today. And before you make the accusation, I do not work for Sears or KMart. I've just shopped online enough to figure this out. I was confused about it when I first started.

Did they guarantee they would ship the same day as the purchase? It will be there 2 business days from the date they ship, not the day you order. Not all orders can be filled the same day.

Kmart employee service/customer care/manager

[protected] Enter store 6:45 pm, shop about an hour with toddler grandson. He is getting irritable so I go to check out @. 7:45 pm. Cashier -Laquita, register #6, checks me out but cannot produce the receipt for the good purchased..($228.84) I used my Kmart rewards card as well as my debit card for this purchase. I have no idea why the cashier did not stop when she seen that the receipt was not printing out. At this time the receipt could not be done at the register. -(15-20 min wait) but the cashier waited on the person behind me with no trouble at all. A CSA was called, I didn't get her name but there was more time adding up (20 min.), she tried to get a receipt for me both at customer care and the office.THEN the manager: Edna, came and there was another (15-20 min.) I repeatedly gave them my Kmart rewards card...I would say 5-6 different times. Needless to say it was WELL over an hour from check out to leaving the store STILL without my receipt OR ANY OF THE ITEMS THAT I HAD PURCHASED! I left the store and was in my vehicle after 9:00 pm. One hour+++ at checking out!
Now that I am on the computer the transaction DID go through, I HAVE paid for all the items and have nothing to show for the trip to Kmart! EXCEPT $228.84 FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT, A VERY IRRITATED SCREAMING TODDLER WHO NEEDED TO BE FED, CHANGED AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN BED AT THIS TIME. NOT TO MENTION... MY GAS AND MY TIME AND INCONVENIENCE FOR SHOPPING AT KMART! Oh did I mention I have to make time to GO BACK TO KMART AND PICK UP MY ITEMS THAT ARE PAID FOR?

Kmart employees

I was in Kmart #3318 and there was this cashier, Rebecca. Who stood there, talking to this other cashier about what they are doing that night, as I waited for her to come over and check out my items. After a minute or two she finally walks over. She looks at me, says I'll be with you in a minute then looks at her cell phone, turns to the girl she was talking to before hand and says "Oh my, look at what I just got." (Something along those lines.) After they laughed she walked over and said "Sorry about that, do you have a rewards card." By that point I was so mad, I looked at her and said "Yes, but now its been too long and i don't want any of this." Now I had a cart with at least 200 dollars worth of items.

Kmart forced into prescription discount program

I usually get my prescriptions filled at walmart, but I was doing some shopping at the kmart store in indiana pa on 5/15/11, and decided to get my prescription filled at the kmart pharmacy. I initially paid under $10.00 for my prescription which was 30 tabs. Of tylenol 3.
Today when I went to pick up my refill, I was told that the price was $16.99. I questioned the increase in price and was told that all of the previous discount programs were tossed & a new discount program instituted. I was automatically enrolled & charged $10.00. When I voiced that I did not want to be enrolled, I was told I would have to pay $24.99 for my refill. This upset me quite a bit. I was not given any warning this was going to happen prior to my having dropped off my initial prescription.
I am not on any medications & the only reason I was given tylenol 3 is because I am having major dental work done which entails several months’ worth of painful treatments. I do not need a prescription discount plan for medications that I am not taking on a daily or monthly basis.
If you were going to institute a new program, it should have gone into effect for new prescriptions not for refills on initial prescriptions under a different discount plan. The initial plan should have been honored for refills only. I feel this is an injustice against your customers who are not on monthly medications. I am on social security disability and I could not afford to pay this $10.00 increase, especially for a program that I will not have any use for in the future. I feel cheated out of $10.00, which I could not afford. This would have never happened had I went to walmart like I started to or had I been warned when I initially filled my prescription, that the program may change & I may be forced to join a prescription discount plan that I really did not need or I would be charged full price for my prescription. I would have declined to have it filled at kmart. You really need to rethink the fairness of this new discount program & who is it really benefitting? People like me who are not taking medications on a regular basis are paying for a program that is of no value to us, which is an injustice.

Kmart rip off on sale iems

Was in kmart, had sale tag attached to box of reese cups 10 for $10.00! Right, rip off, I got 10 of them but when I got to register cashier said that sale was over the day b4! Then why was sale tag still there? Asked her that & she wanted to know where I found them told her & I watched her remove the sale tag & put it on another box of candy! She came back to register & said that was different candy, when I told her I saw what she did, she denied it & said best she could do was let me have them 4 for $5.00. Its not the money, but the principle. If its on sale & the sale tag is there you should get it for the sale price!

I bought a 'linda' heater from kmart 2 months ago and on saturday it burst into flames. It was sooooo scary. I have tried to contact linda but still no reply. Kmart are not being helpful either. What should do

Kmart poor customer service

I like going to Kmart as it has a lot of things that you need at home all under one roof. Most of the time they have things on special which may save you few dollars. Recently near my area, a Kmart started to operate 24 hours which is great. The only thing that really bother me when I go to Kmart is the poor customer service. Unlike a lot of other stores (e.g. Woolworths, Coles, etc) staff members at Kmart show you that, they are not profissional, they have very poor customer service and they always have an ugly looks on their faces! A lot of my friends also told me the exact same thing which made us all decide to avoid going to Kmart as much as we could.

Went to Kmart warwick to have a battery fitted to car, It was a disaster

they did not protect the radio information, said their instrument

malfunctioned. The guy at desk was not polite, very arrogent.. I asked them

to undo the problem they caused, was unable to do so, . He said he would refund the account, I agreed, he took out the battery and put old back in car?. I am left with no radio operating because of their carelessness

and incompetence, . I am left with the cost of geting the radio fixed

and dont yet know if they have caused any other electronic problem|.

I had an appointment which I missed and tolerated two australian guys

being totally uninterested at the problem they have left me with;.

I do not see why I have to pay the cost OF REPAIRING this problem,

I understand the only way is to put another radio, none of this my fault,

plwease assist and advise/. The inconvenience is even worse because of their

incompetence.

When you take out the car battery, the radio (if it doesn't have built in or back up power attached) looses it's clock and station presets.

No big deal. Just look in your car owner manual and learn reset your clock and radio. There is not cost involved, just a few buttons to press.

No damage done but an inconvenience to you none the less.

Nothing to get bent about.

Kmart manager and rewards

my sister and i was in the hershburger store and the cashier renee was vwey awsome! i had coupons that they were advertised and she could not get them to take. the manager that came was a very young man. he was so rude to us and the cashier. he kept cussing, alotand grabbed the ad and while cussing he tore up the ad and done everything himself. he should not be cussing in front of customers and if he had something to say to the cashier, do it in private. he did not take off mykmartcoupon for 10 times points for garden and the three manufactures coupons. after he left renee kept saying how sorry she was. she helped us find the flowers we wanted and some things that i had not came for. she was so patient with us and the very rude person! she should be crowned for all she went through and all the patience she showed. i used to be manager and i was ready to cuss him out good and proper! please take care of this. i am going to blog and facebook this if not taken care of thank you, darlene hanna

I work for kmart our tills have frequent problems. Did her till freeze after you ran your card and it was approved? Or did it just not start printing.

Kmart lawaway

I went to the layaway department to pay on my layaway, I was going to pay half of it. There was no one there and the bell wasn't working, there was a sign that said any clerk would page layaway for me. I didn' t see anyone so I went to customer service. I stood for 30 minutes while the clerk had to give this lady an additionl 10% discount on things she had recieved a 40% discount on the day before, but today it was 50% off. Well, that was too long to wait, so I finally found an employee to page layaway, 20 minustes no one shows, the girl at Olan mills paged layaway again. No one showed. I walked out, and I'm going to cancel my $400.00 layaway. I doubt if I ever shop at Kmart again. Walmart here I come

in case you didn't know kmart bought out sears. i worked for sears when the merger went thru. kmart hired a guy to get them out of bankruptcy. apparently he had controlling interest in sears stock. once he got them out of bankruptcy he used his controlling interests to have kmart who he was the CEO of at the time to purchase sears. talk about a snake in the grass way to do things.

And honestly some people just simply cannot afford to shop anywhere else. Sometimes having the free will to choose where you give your business (a large chain versus a mom & pop) is a luxury that isn't within one's budget.

And I cannot stress enough too about what was said about the convenience of Wal-Mart and the gas you save doing your shopping in one place.

Kmart being disrespected

I have worked in retail for 30 years and I have never been so disrespected and humiliated by one company. I have been yelled at on the floor in front of customers by two members of the management team, yelled at by a member of the Loss Prevention team on the floor in front of customers and that member threatened to terminate me. I was given a raise last year and was forced to give it back because I was hired after a certain date. I have been reprimanded for putting phone calls through to the manager when the party on the other end asked to speak with the manager and on May 25, 2011, I was asked a very personal question in front another employee. I do have to excuse myself to go to the restroom and will contiue to do so of the need arises. This store has had numerous complaints from present and former employees and noone has taken the time to address them. I will not tolerate being spoken to with such disrespect and with no regards to my feelings anymore by the management team or anyone else. If further action is not taken over this matter, I will be forced to take it one step further.

I was a customer at a store and I saw something like that happening. I went to the Manager and told him that he was not being professional and if this was accepted company policy I would not do business with a place that is verbally abusive to its employees. he did not care and I no longer shop at that store or any of its other locations. I could tell the employee a young teenage kid was embarassed and looked grateful for me sticking my nose in it. I warn people not shop at Target because the managers verbally abuse the employees and humiliate them publically.

Kmart discrimination

I went to kmart to transfer my medication. I was ridiculed and told that they would not have the medication in stock until friday, may 21st. I will go into seizures and possibly a coma if I do not get my medication. When I asked them to transfer it back to the pharmacy that I transfered it from they said they could not do that because they had already given me the gift card. I told them to take it back, I did not want it if it was going to cost me my life. Then they started being very rude, laughing at me and ridiculing me, and told me it was too bad, I just had to wait.

Kmart theft

The Surveillance cameras that they say are always on are not available. Something of mine was stolen and I couldnt even check the cameras to see who may have taken it. What are they there for? The guy over the "system" was so rude and had such a nasty attitude I gave up on trying to recover my things. Kmart's employees are rude and the customer service SUCKS! It should be closed down there is no purpose for it.

Nothing is going to happen. I have to dispute it through my bank and the manager says they never got the money but my bank shows different. Their workers nor their managers know what they are talking about. They ruined my kids christmas due to this mishap. I really urge people to if their purchase gets screwed up get it in writing, My next step is to talk with a lawyer.

Umm i bet you couldnt start up and maintain such a large company as sucessful as Kmart. You have named 1 kmart store what you are disapoitned by, doesnt mean that all kmart stores are like that... Plus kmart is about buisness... they dont give a ### about your belongings and what went missing so shut the ### up ###?

Kmart staff service

On thursday the 14th april went into the newtown store here and layby 2 pairs of trackies and 2 sweats... When I arrived home I realised I had laybyed size 12 trackies instead of 10. I immediately rang kmart laybe and was speaking to ronnie riely who said no probs will fix that up for you. I asked him to ring me back to let me now it had been done it did not happen. I rang next time as he only works nites and he said he had rang all stores waiting to see if they had that size and would ring me back. This didnt happen. I rang again saturday night spoke to ronnie again hes says nobody got any just hope some more come in... So sunday I decided to ring rosny myself and newtown and rosny had all sizes and said thank no one from newtown had rang them and at newtown they had 2 of the sizes. I had to go over to rosny pick up the trackies and bring them back and change layby at newtown.
I consider this very bad standards of staff behaviour and to just feed the customer nonsense is just not on. I would like this staff member to be spoken to ronnie riely and this situation to be justified and to not happen again. We the customer are the ones who pay their wages or doesnt that count in this day and age.

Kmart false advertisement

I had a circular and a 32 in TV was on sale for $289.00.There was a $30.00 coupon good on a $100.00 or more purchase excluding furniture, outdoor living, lawn & garden, infants, toys, hardware, home improvements, home fragrances & prior purchases prior paid special order lands end .There was no mention of electronics which is what a TV is right.Well the sale started April 3rd I went up on the 2nd and to make sure I went to customer service and the clerk called over the manager Ray he read the coupon and said yes it is valid.On the 3rd I returned and got the TV and a comforter that was on sale.When I got to the register I gave the coupon to the cashier and assured her I had already been told it qualified.Well she calls over the same cerk from the day before & she said that she remembered some lady from the day before and that Ray said it was ok.Then she went over to customer service and spoke to Ray and I was told sorry I couldn't use it.If this isn't false advertissement or fraud I don't know what is so beware looks like even when your right your wrong with this place my card is cut into a million pieces and I will tell anyone including the BBB & NYS atty Gen who will listen as I got one of those we will get back to you emails.I have had problems with this co in the past fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me well Done WITH KMART SEARS

Well got my reason today I went and asked for a manager she came over and after explaining the whole story She said well it is for home items like towels comforters.I said well can you tell me where it says that TVs are excluded as there are many exclusions such as outdoor lawn & garden toy's home improvement infants lands end hardware etc but no TVs & a TV is a home purchase she said sorry I will have to bring it up at the next meeting.She knew it was a big mistake .I said so even though it does not say TV"s you won't honor it she said no sorry.So there you go But I feel so much better that she will bring it up at the next meeting.LOL.I told her I needed a reason for this site.So I still say beware of Kmart even when your right your wrong.I posted the whole coupon verbatim and I still think I am right but what good does that do when you can't even get 2 managers to honor there mistakes.That's why I posted to begin with.Again they are unethical and beware.Most stores will honor there mistakes but not them I can't break there arm to do the right thing so off to Walmart Boscov's or some other store that will not be bankrupted for $30.00 hahaha.

After being there the day before to be assured that it was correct only to return the next day which it is only 1 mile away to be humiliated with other people behind me I just got pissed and walked out.I contacted Kmart & Sears online & as I said got the we will get back to you.Look the bottom line is I don't really need the TV or comforter bad enough to be bothered with the BS.I posted here to make people aware that this kind of crap can happen .There wa a time when I would have gone nutso but at my age I have melloed and don't care.This company sucks and that's all I can say.

Well that's the way it was.Are you one of those company's that these big outfits hire to try & defend them if so please leave me alone.I have contacted sears & kmart and got the usual run around.I am making the public aware of what to watch out for .

The coupon says Valid 4/3/11 Thur 4/16/11 $30.00 off regular & or clearance priced home purchase in-store of $100.00 or more [purchase requirement calculated before taxes & after other discounts have been applied] in a single transaction .Cannot combine with any other coupon for the same items & cannot double .Limit 1 of this Kmart saving coupon per transaction.Not valid on furniture outdoor living lawn & garden items sold in infants items sold in toys items sold in hardware home fragrances prior purchases partial paid special order lands end.No where is electronics close out or clearances mentioned

I recieved an invitation to do a survey for a$2500.00 gift card on my k-mart receipt.When I logged onto the web page it said, there is no site to do a survey for a $2500.00.That it was a scam.I have my receipt here and it says give us your feedback enter to win a $2500.00 giftcard from K-mart.It is illegal to advertise something and not give it away!I AM VERY UPSET!I don't know if I'll go back to K-Mart again.Like I was going to win anyway.Frankie at fmartin_1965@yahoo.com

You people should be ashamed of yourselves for for offering a possible winnings of $2500 for a survey, this is really disscrediting your company and I strongly advise the heads of this marketing strategy or whom ever decided to go ahead and offer this bogus scam to take it off your receipts immediately, its really doing you no justice. There is no wed site to inter the survey for the chance to win a 2, 500.00 gift card from kmart site name to enter is kmartfeedback.com and then to enter your 19 digit receipt number from your receipt my number is [protected] date of visit 12/13/2008 site must be visited within 7 days of the date of purchase. made a purchase at Kmart receipt said enter to win 2500 for feedback survey site does not exsist then for their Christmas Countdown of a 50, ooo chance to win was there. You can enter the info needed but it would continue to kick out on the code you needed. What liars, false advertising and NO I will not shop anymore at Kmart and to think they are part of Sears I don't shop their either.

Kmart horrible management

I went to the kmart on mentor ave in mentor OH this past week and one of the managers named Jack, was extremely unprofessional and rude to another employee. I was walking into the store when I saw Jack walking out towards the parking lot and was talking on one of the store phones to another employee and used profound unprofessional language such as words like " you better ###ing find a way to walk the floor to get rewards" and " I'm walking to the parking lot I'm going to ###ing lose you so get on the ###ing floor i don't care if electronics is not covered". I was shocked when I heard that this is how the manager talks to his employees, I have shopped at this kmart for many years and never heard anything like this before come out of a managers mouth. i will no longer shop here because I will not support this kind of behavior. I have already spoke with my friends and family and they too will not continue to shop here because of this we come from a respectful family and will now shop at walmart because they are professional and still convinent for myself and friends and family. This manager should be taken care of because this is not aceptable and he will continue to lose his company business due to his actions.

Kmart dry rot boots

hi i bought a 54 dollar pair of boots at kmart they nfell apart went back got another pair they did the same thing got incoact with seras because they really own kmart talk to dylan and he said that kmart would contact me in 2 bisiness dats and they have not did it yet its been all most a week and im stil wearing the boots because i dont have the money to go and buy another pair the boots probably been on the shelves for a long time that is idsgrace that you buy something and it falls apart on you in 2 weeks so i hope they read this and realize thats it wrong to do a customer like that the store is in crystal lake il and they wasnt going to return the first pair and finally they did and now they havnt got back in touch with me yet
