They lead you to believe this is an office job. However when you get there it is selling Kirby vacuums and Kirby products door to door, as well as knives and encyclopedias .

I encountered a similar scam... it was for the Rainbow vacuum cleaner. I saw the ad on Craigslist and Yahoo! Hot Jobs, and went for my interview, and even went to the first day of training. I thought it was a customer service job, like answering phones and stuff, but come to find out, it was a job selling a $2600 vacuum door-to-door (or what they like to call by referral, but how do you get the referrals in the first place? By going door-to-door). They pay you hourly, and you get bonuses if you sell a vacuum, but it just seemed sketchy.

Also, in the ad they said that they hire people and want salespeople to have neat appearances, yet two men in my training group were obviously missing teeth, and another guy was covered in tattoos. Nice neat appearances!

The company that sells them are Rexair.

Pro-aqua vacuums use the same scam. They post a job for entry level mgt or tell you the job is in the office but you have to train in the field first. It is just a scam to get you to sale.

i encoutered the SAME problem with Pro Aqua!! If You Get An Intervie wWith Them It's Best Just To LEAVE!!! They Make The Money & The Opportunity Sound Great But It's Just A Big SCAM! They'll Have You Going Door To Door For Hours Trying To Get Referrals For Appointments When The Whole Point Of The Program Is That You're Not Supposed To Have To Set Your Own! Or They'll Having You Calling People's Houses All Day Trying To Get Appointments! They Even Rip They're Customers Off With Scams & So Called "Free Gifts"! Great Product But Way Overpriced!!! $2600 For A Pro Aqua Is Just Uncalled For! And The Scam Makes Me Sick To My Stomach! Im Very Upset About This!!

Yea, a job where you actually have to work! That sucks man! Maybe you should get a job at Kmart so you can hide in the back and nap until your shift is over. and... uh... dude... EVERY company you work for makes money from your efforts. That's America pal. If you don't like it, open your OWN business so YOU can make the money. MANY MANY MANY people have made a GREAT living in the vacuum business. Typically over 100K per year. Many have become millionaires. The only people you ever hear complaining about it are the people who are too lazy to go out there and make it happen. They'd rather sit back and whine about how hard it is, and about how they got screwed over... when in reality, they didn't do what the company told them they neede to do to succeed, nor did they give it an honest and fair try.

I worked for a company in rogers Ar. called Air By Design selling pro aqua's for 2 weeks now there refusing to pay me. They say you will get payed even if you don't sell them but all they have to do is lose the stuff you turn in. Yes its a job where you actually have to work then they don't even pay you.

I sold Kirbys door to Door for almost 2 years... I did very well at it, and never once did i not get paid... You people are simple ###s... You have to generate Revenue to earn income in this business... if you dont sell you dont get paid... like someone else said, most people wanted to whine and complain and not do what they were supposed to do... and if i remember correctly, I NEVER SCAMMED ANYONE... each of my customers were willing, friendly and HAPPY to have me in there home selling them a quality product at a quality people need to get a grip...most the people that are complaining are people that can't or wont ever be able to afford such a wonderful product
