Con man and pitiful work, I took him to court for unfinished work and the claim was dismissed because he filed bankruptcy. He is shoddy! He never cleaned his mess he never hung the drywall and keep in mind it was ill be back tomorrow... Lies
He started a sub floor job for me then it went up in price and down in quality,

Charles King is a scam artist. He takes your deposit and never does the work. You spend the next several months waiting for him to scam the next unsuspecting person so he then might send you a small repayment. Half the time the check says "final payment." Tells me he's confusing me with others he owes. He can't even keep up with all of his scams. He is like the gypsies you hear about. His whole scheme is to take deposits and use some of that money to pay others a fraction of what he stole from you. You're either one who finally gives up or takes him to court. I'm the latter! I should have read reviews and researched this man before hiring him. Same as everything else I have read, he left the job unexpectedly, gave excuse upon excuse, and never returned to finish the work. Tried to charge for things that were not approved or authorized by me, and then demanded more money to come back and fix the things he or his "crew" either did poorly or didn't do at all. Also got money for project that he never did.
