KinderCare Education knowledge beginnings - horrid facility

DO NOT bring your child to this place. They put on a great show, GREAT show. I started in May of 2015 and by June 2015 was pulling him out and it would have been sooner, but I could not find openings or family able to help to get my son out of this place! 1. I dropped him off one day to find a strange old man in the room with the helper. When I asked who that was I was told it was one of the parents grandfathers. This was in June of 2015 & I'm still waiting to hear back as to who the hell he is, why he's allowed around the kids. I mean I don't know what type of background check was done on this man. 2. My son fell many times & I never got a report. One was so bad I ended up at an urgent care the following day. He had a groin sprain which was discovered after x-rays, evaluation by the Doctor and probing my son as to what happened. 3. They allowed him to wear wet backward shoes all day after water play. THE WHOLE DAY! I even packed him a change of clothes and shoes. When questioned they responded with "we told him not to jump in the puddle"...REALLY?!? DO NOT bring your child here if you value your child's safety and overall wellbeing and happiness. If you don't believe me I have all the paperwork and will gladly meet you in Chandler and show you. Please value your child's well being and do not send them here.

KinderCare Education horror

After researching the best possible child care for my children, I decided, NOT ALL KinderCare locations were the same, and decided to send my children to the St. Francis location. I was in HORROR! The staff, although some very friendly, others were hateful, mistreated my child. The daycare's sanitation is completely questionable, the smell is so unbearable that my father picking up my children in the event of an emergency, left him gagging and very angry at both the facility and me for sending them there. It's been a reoccurring issue. My son and daughter come home with marks and bruises on their bodies, and when asked about them, and why my children's demeanor has changed, its always, "we can't always see what is going on/t was provoked by my child."
& THE FEES ARE OUTRAGOUS! I was informed of $120.00 annual fee in addition to a co-pay (after state child care is paid). I paid my annual fee in September 2014. It is June 5, 2015 and I was charged $200.00 dollars for "summer fees" ($80.00 for activity fees and $120.00 for field trip fees) REGARDLESS IF I WANTED TO SEND MY CHILD ON THE FIELD TRIPS OR NOT! This is all in addition to the upcoming fall fee due September 1, 2015.
Needless to say I will be moving my children to a much more healthy environment from now on! I hope parents of CUDAHY & ST. FRANCIS are smart enough to realize their children are in better hands at home then at this daycare! KINDERCARE IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!

KinderCare Education horrible place

This place really is as bad as other complaints about it on this board. The rooms are almost always out of ratio. The teachers do not have education or certification. Minimum standards and requirements are pretty much a h.s. diploma and a few months experience. The turnover is horrible. The good teachers end up leaving because this place is so poorly run. I've had 4 of my child's clothing items go missing in a span of two months. The center didn't seem to care and refused to credit me for the cost. I would bring my child in wearing an outfit and pick her up in something completely different and the original clothes would not be in her bin. The teachers would always feign ignorance or say they weren't on duty. They are always shifting blame. I agree with the billing complaints. They break up the base fee so it's confusing and you are paying a month in advance in some cases. They always double charge you. Not run honestly.

I've seen them force toddlers to sit at a table with magazines so they can clean the rooms and reprimand the child when they tried to get up. I had to speak with the Director about this SEVERAL times and once a teacher even became argumentative with me saying she had to clean the room. You are paid to care for my child. A child under two shouldn't be made to sit at a table so you can clean.

The last straw was another teacher telling me that my child was mistreated and the offending teacher trying to spin it into something else. You do not force a crying child on a potty and then tell the parents she refused. The teacher did not want to potty train my child and set her up for failure and used the potty as punishment to get out of training my child. Reprehensible. I pulled my child out of this place. Please read their violations on the CPS site before sending your child. Too many red flags and the little ones have no way of telling you how they are being mistreated. These people are warm bodies and not fit to care for children. The Director does not want to spend time recruiting and hiring more staff and so will not do anything to fix the situation. The child's best interest is not considered. This place is nothing more than a warehouse. I have also seen teachers just sitting around and not engaging with the children.

KinderCare Education bad service

If your child will be at this center outside of when the "lead" teacher is scheduled, you might want to double think your decision. After a year and a half I have had enough and my child will no longer be at this center. Staffing issues that involve next to no training seem to be the norm between the 3 rooms my child has been in at this location. When the lead teachers are out sick or on vacation, the rooms are run well below standard and it is pure chaos. My child was consistently not given milk we provided (they don't have organic milk available), daily communication logs were not filled out to properly record the day's events or create accountability, my child was not changed with normal frequency (so changing of clothing was done entirely too much after my child slept in a saturated diaper during nap time), and the list continues when the lead teacher wasn't present. Stay away from this center at all costs! When you try to address concerns, you get empty apologizes and shoulder shrugs. Such a shame.

KinderCare Education termination

My mother was terminated and discriminated against because of her age and years of service, from KinderCare Learning Centers in 2010. She was accused by a member of management who was not in the room at the time of the supposed incident of withholding food from a child. The child in question has refused lunch because of feeling ill and wished to lay down instead which was granted.
My mother worked for KinderCare for 11 years in the same center from the day it opened and her specific center was undergoing constant changes in management and team members. My mother was the oldest and highest paid employee making more than most members of management. My mother is mild mannered and refused to fight for herself and took the bullying KinderCare dealt her. She has suffered emotional pain ever since then and continues to feel tortured almost three years later for what KinderCare is calling a crime.
KinderCare Learning Centers LLC. consists only of vicious, depraved, sadistic corporate thugs who derive pleasure from bullying honest, extremely hard working employees who they feel have "taken" to much of their millions of dollars in revenue.

KinderCare Education cleanliness

Center is filthy, from entryway to classrooms. Cleaning not done consistently-evident through smell, build up of fingerprints & other bodily fluids on windows and doors. From smashed cracker crumbs, to dust and tattered poinsettias still outside, Christmas was probably the last time they ran a vacuum. Dirty classrooms also leads to numerous sick children-visibly evident at drop off and pick up. Lack of clean shows lack of pride in center and staff. What once was a clean center-is now a collection of old rock salt, crumbs, dust and germs.

KinderCare Education unprofessional

This school is so unprofessional...the teachers wash there personal clothes in the laundry in the babies room. The classes are always out of ratio...The Director is never there nor does she repremand her staff they get away with murder and cover for each other. In my opinion they need to be shut diown or have new mangers and district manger. The pre-k class has gone down since the regular teacher went to finish school they put a new teacher there who does not have a clue and does nothing but sit and eat according to my child. I would rather have there teacher back part time then to have that uneducated one. Don't get me wrong Ms. Sonia the asst. teacher is great, and worked well with Ms. Nikki. This center is hands down nasty, unprofessional, and not safe. I will not rest until not only my shild but all the children are cared for and taught right. As well as have a brand new staff of managers and teachers.

If you love your child, Keep them away from that hell hole of a place. I've witnessed a teacher falling asleep while feeding a baby.(several times) I've witnessed a toddlers teacher yelling at a parent. The two's teacher is the most unprofessional piece of garbage ever. The assistant director has no brain of her own and the director seems to lack confidence. All the other teachers seem to be operating from a pace of fear and stress.

I had my infant daughter here for several months in 2013. While I was pretty happy with the teachers in the infant class, I saw some things of concern in the two toddler classes I had to pass through to get to the infant room. In the toddler class, they would often have the children sitting at tables leafing through catalogs. Shopping catalogs! Not educational materials like age-appropriate books, and the teachers were not engaging with the children at all while they did this. It was a bit heartbreaking to see this and I remember thinking to myself that I would change day care centers before my daughter ever reached the age where she would be moved to one of these classes (thankfully, that did happen). Also, one day, I came in early to pick up my daughter and as I passed through the first toddler room I saw a teacher walking through the napping children and forcefully kick one of the cots out of the path -- sleeping child and all. I don't know what the experience and/or education requirements are for this place, but that behavior and curriculum is worrisome. And it's not like the weekly rate is low. Lastly, I also found the center's Director to be rarely present whenever I dropped off or picked up my daughter. I would recommend any parent to try to find another center if you can.

This place is a dump. Please I repeat do not take your kid here. When you come for a tour they will play the roll that they are great teachers and they are always engaging with the kids. Not thats just a fake. These teacher care about drama more than the kids. They are always one there phones. Or they are always feeding there faces. My kids never like going to this school they would scream and cry when they would go. And this was there second center they had been to. So I pulled them out. The price is ridiculous for the care that you receive. And the center is very old and dirty. I felt as the the toys was never clean. The infant was a very good class one my kids where in there the teacher love and cared for my kids. The director and assistant director don't care what goes on in the center. This place just plain out suck. Please tour other Kindercares there are better centers out there.

I am sorry if you view that as unprofessional Brenda. It definitely wasn't my intention. But my coworkers and I work hard to ensure the best care and to let parents know their kids are in good hand while they are away. So to mocked and bullied online, called "fake and uneducated is hurtful, unfair and unacceptable.

As a reader of these comments and a teacher at this center I am extremely offended. I will only speak for myself, no other teacher, but I love and care for every child as if they are my own! In my classroom curriculum is taught and displayed EVERYDAY! Sometimes your parents are too "busy" to stop and look around observe what's is being taught. The previous comment was written by my former students' parent and unfortunately she was a parent you couldn't please no matter what. There NEVER was a bleach accident! LIE! Her daughter was a pleasure in class and participated very well, too bad her mother feels she's lacking. Overall my center is thriving and my class is and will always remain most popular. Thank you.

I started my child here almost a year ago, and I really wish there was somewhere else I could take her that is convenient. Within the first 3 months I was so pissed with this school! I made a complaint that they needed to take care of the mosquito infestation they have during the summer. They told me to bring mosquito repellant. I was ticked because I asked where is the one I brought, they said she never had any. My child has been coming home reeking of that stuff. and I know I supplied it. Their cover up was "well maybe you were smelling it because she was hugging and holding onto the other children that have it on them. 0_o First off as strong as it was it was sprayed directly on her, I had to scrub it off of her during bath time. Second, if you're saying I didn't supply it, then whose were they using., and lastly there is only so much repellent that is going to keep those mosquitos away. Unfortunately because they didn't want to do anything about it, I demanded my daughter had to stay in quite a few times. Another incident occured when they couldn't tell me how my child ended up with bleach on her clothes. Every excuse began with "maybe". I don't want to hear maybe! You are her teacher. Where were you when she was playing with it?!? Another incident occured in September, when I asked my mother to drop her off at school. My mother was carrying her in her arms and tripped over a part of the sidewalk that is raised. My mother fell down on my 2 year old daughter ontop of the concrete. Can I just say I have asked mutltiple times when they are going to fix the sidewalk since this happened, and Niclaire the center director keeps passing the blame. I have not been reimbursed my money for the ER visit for my daughter, nor have they still fixed the sidewalk.
You also want to make sure you watch your account closely. They will swear up and down that you owe money that you have already paid. I had to constantly stay ontop of them, and the center director was always telling me no, its correct, until one day she finally looked at what I was saying.
There are a couple of teachers who are always on their personal phones. If you call the front office you can only hope that someone will actually answer the phone, and if you want to speak to someone in the office mainly the center director or her assistant, or have them return your call, well lets just say you have a better chance playing the scratch lottery and winning a $2 prize.
I don't feel their curriculum is as advertised, there were things that I felt my daughter should have known or learned at certain points in her age. So I taught her.
I agree with the previous post that they all cover for one another and there is no kind of discipline amongst the staff. They are all very fake when it comes to your concern (and believe me, you can tell). If you have a concern about your child and you bring it to theri attention, 9 times out of 10 the response begins..."Well, my son/fdaughter..." Quite frankly I don't care about your child, I am talking to you about my child. The one I am paying you all to look after, and educate.
I could go on and on about this place. If it wasn't for the type of job I work and the hours, and some of the things they offer that the other centers in my area don't, my baby girl would have been out of there a long time ago.

KinderCare Education unprofessional

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm ashamed to work here after I see what goes on when parents aren't around. When i complained to my Staff Director, the Manager, about a teacher saying the N word around 3 year olds, she ignored it. When I complained to her about a staff member coming to work drunk and harming other children by throwing books in the air out of rage, she said she would talk to that member about it, and she should've been fired! Nothing was done. They don't care about the kids well being, they just want to make sure they get paid. I would never ever let me child go to daycare again until they can talk and can tell me what goes on during the day. Don't be fooled by sweet smiles and the two center directors doing everything they can do to meet your needs. These women are horrible. My assistant director was holding a baby who started crying and she held the baby away from here and said "Ugh! Here, somebody take it please!" DISGUSTING. no parent would ever want their child to be here if they know whats best for them. It hurts me to know these kids are being mistreated like this. They have a system to call for bathroom breaks, emergencies, ice if a kid gets hurt or sick. I called to have ice brought to my room because a child had fallen and hit their face on the edge of a table. No one ever came, i called again a few minutes later and was ignored. After many attempts and 4 people in the front office laughing, talking, going on coffee runs and many many cigarette breaks i just went into the fridge and took out a childs juice box that was frozen and placed it on the childs face. Even employees are treated bad, you can wait sometimes 2 hours to use the bathroom, and if you're sick, forget it. You will never be able to be sent home, even if you're throwing up or have a fever. My carpet in my classroom has fleas, now I have flea bites and when I addressed this to my manager she said the center was already treated for fleas 4 months ago so she's not getting it treated again.

Ive had bad experience at kindercare wayne nj and looking to filing a formal complaint. We know that they do not regularly audit health records nor provide staff with proper training or certification before handling a child. Amazing how they can still be in business. I hope the kids enrolled do not have any longterm effects from being mistreated.

I strongly disagree ! I am currently employed with Kindercare. First off language is not tolerated under any circumstances especially racial ones like you claim, as far as children getting hurt and injured it is your responsibility as a care giver which you were at the time: is under your control of your classroom . If you cant handle the heat get out the kitchen . In child care you must have all your attention on the children at all times that is the number one rule. You would know this because you signed the papers. you need to think and act quickly.

After reading this several times, I couldn't help but laugh at your ignorance. You sound silly, lets start off with punctuation! You have full run on sentences, broken sentences and slang words. The part that scares me most is when you said "i just went into the fridge and took out a childs juice box that was frozen and placed it on the childs face. So, in other words you left your room out of ratio, which only means that 1 other teacher was responsible for many children while you were frantically looking for a frozen juice box? Basically you put more danger in the classroom by leaving all of the children alone with 1 teacher. As a parent, I ask myself what if there was a fire ? or what if a child ran out the door? Secondly, a cold juice box ? on a childs face ?! I am in rage just typing this . Please young lady seek some help and find God . Blessings child

KinderCare Education teaching the kids to fight while in daycare

It is terribly sad that these daycare centers hire these uneducated, thuggish, rude, abrasive, violent, and emotionally damaged women to staff their daycare classes. These women are from rough neighborhoods and they are probably victims of domestic violence and control-freak mothers. They bring their mixed up, screwed-up value systems to work with them at Kindercare in Mobile, Alabama. The center will give them the title of "Daycare Teacher" when they have no qualifications to teach anyone anything. They bring their own beliefs into the classroom with them. They learned in middle school (and probably even earlier) that if you get picked on, the best way to defend yourself is with violence. They learn to be bullies in order to protect themselves from all the other thugs at school. Then they bring these values to Kindercare and they teach their little students to use violence to defend themselves against their classmates. When the cameras are rolling, they'll see one kid hit another kid. They'll call the victim over to them and they whisper, "Go over there and hit him back." The kid will go over and smack the other kid in retaliation for being hit. The daycare workers see each other doing this and they don't say anthing about it. It's easier to fight Fire with Fire, as they say. An eye for an eye, as they say. This is so wrong.

The problem with posting complaints like this is that the owners of the business will blame the complaint on a mad former employee. They call it slander and they will fire someone on their staff for allegedly posting this so-called lies. Please don't waste your time complaining on this site. It won't help the problem.

KinderCare Education don't sent your child to clayton ohio centre

During my time at Kindercare, they allowed metal tape measures to be in the 5 year old classroom! Are you kidding?

One boy held one end and the other boy held the other end and a little girl was holding the middle of the tape just as I walked in. You guessed it! One boy pushed the button to make the tape re-track and the little girls fingers were sliced. To the point of blood all over her shirt, blood all over her hands and the floor and she had to be taken to the emergency room.

What genius ever thought this was a good idea?

Then when I grabbed the five year old boy and shook him for calling him stupid the supervisor called me in to the office and fired me. After another incident the supervisor called me in the office and fired me. She said that that is not how we discipline children. I was fired because of "abuse" now I am having a hard time finding another teaching job. This was the second incident where we had a disagreement with how I disciplined a child. One time a child told another child to f*ck off in the after school program and I slapped him across the face and put bleach in his mouth. I made sure he did not swallow and they said that that was not correct. This incident happened a week after the tape measurement incident and I was fired. When I mentioned that I discipline my seven year old like this all the time for bad language they contacted social services who took their side.

There is never a lead teacher in the 3 year old classroom. Has not been in over a year. She is at the front office and the only time she goes in the room is when State Board is going to show up. Nice huh?

Also the child did not swallow the bleach, well it was not bleach it was a cleaning solution to be exact. I was just cleaning his mouth out. You know how when a child swears you use soap to clean up their language. I made sure that the child did not swallow any. Just made him rinse his mouth with it and spit it out. Also I did not put it in his mouth. I asked him to put it in his mouth himself and he did. There is no danger if he does not swallow the bleach. However this incident caused me to lose my job. For your information the child in question was 10 and knew that he should not swallow the cleaning solution, besides it was watered down. All I wanted was for him to have a foul taste in his mouth and teach him a lesson.

TruthIsNowTold you said you would have handled this situation differently but you don't say how. I have reported you to the board moderators and the police because I see that this is not the only review you are harassing people on. You like to harass people. You say there are different ways to handle the swearing but you don't give an example. You just judge me you coward.

KinderCare Education teacher

First, I went to thanks kindercare, my kids have a lot of fun at day care. But today I went to complaint something. Before my daughter at Mrs peeya and Mrs Allison class, she is so happy and went to go daycare everyday. since she turn to 5 year old, she go to new class.First two month, she is ok, after that, she cried and mad excuces every morning that she doesn`t want to go daycare. We started to think that something was going on in her class. she told me Mrs yee always talked in a mean voice to her. When she ask Mrs yee something, Mrs yee sometime no answer, sometime yell(low): go way! she so scared this teachetr, she don't understand why this teacher so mean. For teacher, should treat all kids nicely and equaly. I check this teacher a month, I know my kids telled is true. I am so mad some teacher how bad to my little girl! I am unhappy for my kids let this teacher "takecare" . I quite this daycare as soon as when I found no right.

KinderCare Education scam

I used to work for KinderCare! They are animals there. The children were abused, not taken care of. The director was getting regularly drunk with the teacher during lunch time. I don’t even know who was treated worse, the teachers or the children. Only really desperate low class people worked there. No breaks were given to employees, which is against the labor law. This place is in Foothil Ranch, CA. If yo really love you child, do not place him there. I can’t believe there are places like that in United States! They always forced teachers to take more kids that are allowed (14 2-year olds and 1 teacher!).

KinderCare Education unethical work environment/violates health deptartment policies

As a former employee at Kindercare, I must express my dismay at how this company is run at the corporate level. I enjoyed my former job and loved my co-workers, including the center and assistant directors. I need to voice that for-profit corporations and the business of taking care of children is not a very good combination.

These directors are placed under a huge amount of stress by keeping their enrollment numbers high at the expense of the teachers in their employ. Often there are not enough teachers to cover basic needs such as lunch breaks. I worked an 8 hour shift for months without being given a regular break. When there was enough staff, I would then receive a brief break. Having inadequate staffing also led to many classrooms being over their ratio numbers in multiple classrooms.

It was not unusual for an infant teacher to have a few toddlers in the classroom for part of the day. This was also repeated for the toddler and the two year-old classrooms. I clearly remember the stress, discomfort and frustration my center director experienced in having to make daily decisions in who could get a break or which classes had to "bump" their students up or down by age group.

I worked for Kindercare multiple years and my only "raise" or wage increase during that time was less than a dime an hour. I left the company due to burnout and stress. A Kindercare employee seen at the corporate level is just a number, and treated as such. I am expendable, cheap labor that can easily be replaced. This corporation puts their bottom line at the expense of their employees and the well-being of the children placed in these daycare centers.
Due to staffing shortages, I was unable to take any vacation or personal time for months. Over a 9-month period, I was able to take just two personal days. I was feeling stressed and burnt-out due to lack of time off and the center's inability to hire additional staff in a timely manner. I understood my limits and pleaded for time off from working 8 hour days with only brief potty breaks. As an employee, I left this company feeling totally depleted and used up. I will never work for a corporate-run child care business again. I am learning toward mom-and-pop operations or non-profit organizations.

KinderCare Education unethical work conditions forced on employees

Twice as an employee with Kindercare learning center, I was forced to work while sick. I was told if I showed an effort and come to work sick, I could leave. Not true, next day went doctor, and I had shingles. A prior time, my back went out, couldn't leave, and I worked the entire day. By that evening I couldn't move, I was in excruciating pain.

The working conditions are appalling working. We take care of children and we expose them to illness, because we are afraid we'll loose our jobs if we walk out sick.

KinderCare Education dissatisfied with job

Ive been an employee at kindercare for about 3 months. I was hired as the school aged lead teacher. After a month there, my hours were cut and I was expected to deal with 22 kids alone, in a room by myself and at the time I was pregnant. I loved that job and my kids until my hours got cut again. Now I went from 4 hours a day to 2 and a half. I always asked for more hours but was unsuccesful. I felt like i was a slave and they worked me, like one. I finally decided to quit and when I did I was told that mfy director was waiting on me to do so.

KinderCare Education terminated

I had been working for kindercare for a little less than a year when I put my 2 weeks in. On the Monday following my notice my boss suspended me then fired me for telling a kid to stop trying to run out of the room at drop-off. The director also moves kids from room to room to accodomate the ratio whether or not the child belongs in the room, for instance a 18 month old in the same room as a 3 year both in the 2 year old room. She would move up 2 year olds to a preschool room with kids who are 3-4 years old.

There was even one incident when you used a racial slur against the child.

The problem was not with you telling the child to stop running out of the room. The problem is that you threatened to spank the child for running out of the room which we do not encourage in kindercare. Another reason is you allowed the other children to call the child an idiot and have often referred to the child as an idiot in front of other children, singled him out ect.

KinderCare Education all depends on which one you work at

I am currently working at my second KinderCare. I LOVED the first one I was at. The staff were so nice and the administration was fantastic. But, it was a center that had been bought out by KLC and retained most of its former policies, usually telling KLC to shove it.

The one I'm at now is extremely "corporate" and it ***! I've been there for three weeks and I'm already looking for a way out the door! They cut hours ALL the time and despite the fact that I was hired to be a preschool teacher, I barely spend any time in "my" classroom.

In addition to that, they change the policies constantly so you basically keep getting in trouble. For example, your classroom is supposed to be kept neat as a pin, but you're expected to only clean it at naptime or on your own time without pay. But at naptime you're supposed to spend all your time putting the children to sleep even though state law says that after 30 minutes you have to give them something to do on their cot and after an hour you have to allow them to get up.

Oh and the age group that I have is at the point where naptime is a thing of the past for them, yet the director gets pissed because the other teacher and I can't cover our own breaks because too many children are awake. All because she can't staff enough people so that every break is covered.

It's ridiculous. I was really excited about this job because everyone seemed really nice and I loved the last KinderCare I was at. But this just blows! The hour cutting is ridiculous and the pay is appalling. I have a degree in ECE and teaching certification with 6 years experience, yet with the money I make I could technically go on welfare. Oh and I'm paying out the *** for benefits that don't cover squat. I think that from a consumer standpoint, you're okay because most of the staff really do their damned best despite the crap they deal with. But from an employee standpoint, run while you can!

It is sad what they do to their employees. Double Standards are always the key. I was a center director and was terminated for following state DCFS laws versus company guidlines. Although every policy states that you always follow state standards first. The DCFS representative told me herself that they cant stand how the organization is run. And told me specifically that I cannot run a parents night out, my dcfs license didnt cover it. My District manager had a few things to say about that and would not follow state licensing policies. It is just morally wrong how KinderCare feels they are above the wall and require employees to do as the company states only. If you are trained elsewhere, you are not a prized position at KinderCare. Never work there! If you know the difference between right and wrong they do not want you to be a part of their corporation. Cant imagine why there are so many lawsuits against the company. They are like an organized crime. Do what they say or they will screw you!

KinderCare Education they don't care

My son was pinched by the directors daughter and scramed at by both the directors son and daughter. Then she went in the room after I left and called my son a lier right in front of the children and it was in a loud voice. The director has made VERY inappropriate remarks to the parents there. My son has had woodchips thrown at him. The directors daughter is a thief! The assistant director Amanda Novakowski has had her boyfriend Jason Schleweis there to try to kick my but. When I saw him I was thinking him and what army. He works at BAXA in Englewood. Go to another center there is a Highlands Ranch Learning Academy near Broadway and Dad Clark that is soooo much better you will thanks me later!

KinderCare Education worst childcare franchise for teachers & families

Kindercare & it's parent company (Knowledge Learning Corp.) ruined a wonderful childcare facility in Oklahoma City. Our center, Children's World Learning Center (N. Meridian) was purchased by Knowledge & the changes were fast, drastic & devistating to staff & families. Along with the center name change, came a new company who cared little for the families we were serving & even less for the staff who worked there. The district manager was a bully who name called & berated the Center Director (Joyce) and who couldn't be bothered to interact with any of the teachers when she came for visits. We were constantly expected to work understaffed & to move children from room to room. Anyone who understands children, knows that they thrive on consistency. Moving them from room to room to maintain ratios (instead of calling in a teacher or letting a teacher clock in) did nothing to help them learn, stressed them out on a daily basis & left the teachers frustrated & unable to effectively do their jobs. Parents were nickeled and dimed by a company that cared about NOTHING BUT MONEY...There were no resources for the center director, no support for her staff. Several teachers were "let go", even when Joyce tried desperately to hang onto them. IF KINDERCARE DIDN'T LIKE YOU, YOU WERE OUT. Even though Joyce had worked at this center for 10+ years, she left after it became a Kindercare & they ran it into the ground. Her assistant left after working at the center for 15+ years after Kindercare took over. Several directors came & went after that & not too long after, the center closed it's doors for good. GREED DOES NOT PAY. A CHILDCARE CENTER SHOULD BE BENEFICIAL FOR CHILDREN, PARENTS & STAFF.
