Key Lime Cove Resort / Nightmare
My father worked at keylime cove as a waterpark technician. Due to their inadequate waterpark flooring, my father was severely injured when he slipped on the floor. Our nightmare began. He broke his foot in eight places, needed immediate spinal surgery on his neck (where 3 discs had to be removed), and needed a four level lumbar back fusion. The worst of it all is a disease he contracted starting in his broken foot called CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome). Imagine your limbs feeling like they are on fire constantly, and you would have an idea of how he feels on a day to day basis. Management knew they had a problem with their waterpark floor from day one, and never cared enough about their customers or employees to do anything about it. To the employees or anyone else that says that every waterpark floor is as slippery as keylime's, your a jack-*** and I would suggest a mental evaluation. It is now almost two years later and my father only got worse. He is now permanently disabled and bound to a wheelchair or bed. This is a man that was very active and had no limitations. How can a place like this stay open, letting people fall on a daily basis? My Dad will never be who he was and keylime can never repay what they have taken from us. To anyone looking to have fun at a waterpark please, please, please, go to the dells where experts who care about their customers and employees maintain a safe environment. For the record, my father was wearing aqua socks when he slipped, so even that is not a safe precaution, the floor is stamped concrete that shines when wet.
