KeyBank Key to benefits ny

I have tried to contact key bank about my benefits ny card and spent two days in a row 4 hours on day one and 6 hours on day two meanwhile I can not access or get any balance info on my debit card I can get balance info online but can not access the money at a atm or make orders and all you get when calling customer service is a recording and a day on hold with no one ever answering the phone and taking care of the problem and there online customer service is equally useless

KeyBank Bad service, transferring with no results

Fraudulent Funds were transferred to another account. Been on hold all morning being transferred again and again. Representative acted to do a claim then transferred me to get a new card once transferred representative said the claim was not made only noted tranzferewd me back to the same dept that got me to a representative to do claim over but not understanding where there system goes in circles as it taking me to the same depth that didnt do the claim or give me a claim number. Had key before in the pass had someone steal my card and they never refunded my money. I HATE KEYBANK AND ADVISE PPL TO STAY AWAY AND SET UP AN ACCOUNT IF USING CARD FOR UNEMPLOYMENT TO NOT EVEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS BANK AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE AND NO TRUE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED. Being I have children no one has 3-4 hours at a time to be on hold and be transferred so many time with no true service.

KeyBank Dispute department and all departments

I got transfered to 3 different places to dispute my debitcard that I never recieved and had fraudulant charges on the card. Now I am waiting over 180 minutes listening to the background music. In total I have been on the phone trying to reslove this for 4 hours where 2 now going on 2 and half hours. Keybank that handles the unemplyment debitcard. Almost all of my unemployment money is gone.

KeyBank Delayed line renewal to charge up interest and then files a bad credit report

I have a annual operating line for agriculture with key. This year i' had a new branch manager that did not know how to renew, a normal 2 week process but because of his inexperience and other s trying to help the renewal dragged out from sept of 2019 to may 2020. Key charged interest on the note balance when they said they would waive it and then trashed my excellent company credit report by reporting we defaulted on our loan when it was all keybanks fault. Can you help clearing the credit report and getting the interest and fees repaid to my company

KeyBank Mobile banking

On April 15th I used my motorola droid phone and checked my mobile banking to see if my stimulus check or tax return came or were pending. I checked my notifications. I noticed there was a change of address request put in which I didn't request. I used online chat to talk to a customer representative. Her name was Jennifer. I told her my address is still 1113 e Dayton st, South Bend, IN 46613 and that nothing should be changed. She assured me 1113 e Dayton was still my correct address. Just to be safe I changed my password on the mobile banking and also my telephone acves code. The following day again I log on hoping to see my stimulus check or tax return in my account. I enter my new password.. My old password was Eminem82! New password was Yomomma82! ..I entered it in and was told I had to call a 1800 number because my account was restricted. I didn't receive any emails or texts notifying me of a restriction..So I call my debit card I can't hear my balance or anything at this point I'm also not able to contact online support. I wait online for a representative approximately 25 mins I had pressed one to get a call back when it would be my turn . never received a call. Frustrated I call my local key bank branch located in South Bend IN on Miami st . I speak with a teller. I tell her I'm not able to get on to my online banking or check my balance on my debit card. She tells me there is a restriction on my account. She says that's all she can tell me is that there's a restriction I need to call the 1800 for the mobile banking. I told her I did call but wasn't getting an answer. In short she told me call back and wait longer. At 11pm 4/16/20 I call the mobile banking 1-800 number and spoke with an agent named Tim. He told me he can't see anything either only that there is a restriction and I need to go to my bank..I told him they told me to contact him. He said there is nothing he can tell me and to set up an appointment to go into my bank seeing as it is closed due to the covid 19. I was to get paid the following day, which is today 4/17/20. So I asked him if I was going to be able to go to ATM and get money he said it doesn't appear my card is affected. 9:40 4/17/20 I go to a flag star bank ATM to withdraw 200 dollars it says I have no money. I go to my key bank branch. I write a withdrawal slip she says my money isn't ready.. At this point I assume she's talking about my pay check from american logistics my job. I get paid 352.51 almost every Friday at 9a.m this is not typical. I tell her everything that I just previously stated here and she tells me there is a 4300 dollar check pending. I have no idea who its from or where its from but I have never cashed a single check threw my mobile banking account ever. So she told me to file this claim and closed my account. Please help me to get this situation taken care of as soon as possible. I'm very worried about my credit being affected by this. Thank you in advance.

KeyBank customer service (upper management escalation)

Dont ever continue to argue with me on the phone again when I clearly explain to you idiots that I am in class at school and cannot talk.. It means simply I am in class dont harrass me dont argue with me, dont expect to keep conversations going when I tell you I am in class and cannot talk.. Dont ever do this again or I will file a lawsuit against you for harrassment

Keybank bank would replace my ILLINOIS KEY2BENEFIT CARD…I’ve waited over since 2021 for my first card which I never received but tracked it and found out it should have been delivered to me since 2021…now I called to have my card sent out they wouldn’t send but keep saying I have to talk to the illinois Department which I did and got not issues with my account…they even helped with the change of address but then keybank wouldn’t change my address and keeps asking stupid questions…did all verification I really don’t understand what they want…seems you’re interested in stealing my card

KeyBank unethical behaviour regarding overdraft fees and accounting

I am contacting to complain about your online banking. I check my account everyday, so I know what is happening. the bank is reorganizing withdrawals and payments to their advantage to collect overdraft fees! I can check online what the activity is, but when I go into the branch to talk to the manager and they show me on their screen, everything is in a different order as to when they were charged. and it is always benefiting the bank! I think this is unfair business practice and should be looked into. if I look online, it should be in the same order as I have seen the previous day. of course, once they charge a few, then the whole thing snowballs and the bank does not care of contact or anything! as long as you get your fees. if other customers have the same complaint, you are ripping off your customers. same with holds on check deposits. the money is in my account, you accepted it, but then you bounce the checks because you are "holding" the money till next morning. so my checks from the night before are bounced even when my money is in my account. this is another scam to get more fees out of your customers. I am going to go to the banking association and/or government and complain about keybanks business practices with fees! I see other complaints online too, what is going on?!

KeyBank unemployment keybank card

On December 15th ive noticed that my unemployment card has expired on 4/19 so i called to have a new 1 issued they told me i needed to send in a lease of proof of address i email it they say it takes 48 hrs but its taken longer i called to check only for them to tell me 1 it was missing the signature page with my signature and to tell me that the spelling of my name my last name does not match the spelling in their computer so I resubmit my lease again with the signature page only for them to deny it again to say that the signature page has to be both mine and the landlord signature which they failed to tell me the first time then they proceeded to tell me that I can use a government letter example a letter from the Department of Labor as proof of address which reminds you they told me at first I couldn't use that letter from Department of Labor so now going forward I email them a letter from Department of Labor proving my address here it is December 29th they still have not processed my email or take the initiative to mail out my new card every time I call and I've been calling every day since December 15th at least three to four times a day every time I speak with a representative I'm being told different information I'm being told I was supposed to submit certain information that was not told to before or the time before that so now when I call to try to check on the status of it when I enter my card number as I'm being told it does not match their information on file so I'm being sent to fraud department only to continue being told to call to check the next day and I call every day at least three times a day if not more only to be told check back later or call tomorrow my number is [protected] name shakinna johnson

I am getting the same issues with lies. It's like they deliberately holding on to your money with this charade. How can unemployment send benefits to a bank that punish the customers.

KeyBank christina ellsworth

I visited the Hoosick branch with intentions of opening a business account. A Teller welcome me to have a seat while she notified a platform associate of my arrival. I noticed a young woman standing in the same seating area. She approached the Teller desk and Christina joined them. Christina was so loud stating if the client didn't stop using profanity she would have her leave. Stating it was not her fault the account had issues. I personally could not hear the woman's complaints and only noticed the tension when Christina made her outburst. I continued to wait in the area and after another 15 to 20 min. Christina came storming out of her cubicle again. She obviously was not notified I had been waiting and asked loudly "are you with her". I told her no and it is not wise to bluntly assume in a profession setting. No Hi how are you, no customer service whatsoever. She sarcastically asked another gentleman hey are you two together referencing the same woman again and returned to me asking is that fair? I take it because of race she assumed this was my concern, very undermining and simple. I was more appalled by her lack of professionalism stating she is having a bad day. I told her that is hers to own and deal with and politely requested her to conduct herself better while opening my business account. After a few nonchalant and aggressive remarks she asked again what kind of account do I want to open? Anger blinds many of us and has no place in a professional institution. I left without opening my account and am reluctant to return. From someone who worked in banking for years, please hire more mentally tough, genuine, non-biased, and passionate people.

KeyBank online banking

I wish to complain about a VERY RUDE Customer Service person in your on line banking department. Her name is Jamie and when I asked for the supervisor she said she was the supervisor. This person was rude and argumentative and was ZERO help to me. I have been a Key Bank customer since the 80's and have several accounts with the bank. Your service has gone down hill the past couple of years but today was the topper. Your customer service persons really need to have communication skills. This person does not belong in customer service. This may be the final straw with me and Key Bank. I will be moving my accounts after the first of the year.

KeyBank online banking password and user id update

I opened my account 08/08/2019. I had an old HSA account I no longer used. At the time I opened my new account, the bank manager updated all my info and merged the accounts. Well somehow they have my old phone number and WILL NOT help me over the phone because they cannot "verify" my new number, but keep asking me for it! Since August I have not been able to do anything online I want to do because of this. This is NOT Fort Knox and it is ridiculous that I cannot simply verify my social, address, dob something ESPECIALLY it being their error! I keep being told I have to go into a branch, I work and regardless should not be inconvenienced over a simple phone number. Next bank...

KeyBank banking

I'm having issues with Key bank in closing bank accounts for my vision impaired mother. The Key bank agent told me that my mother had to read her bank account information and I could not help her or say out loud her account information. Blind clients have a right to close their account and get assistance in doing that.

Key bank has no procedure to handle clients with disabilities and vision impairments.

KeyBank charged for "excessive" transfer of money from saving to checking

I just got a fee for excessively transferring money between my account.
I don't understand what they would need the fee for? Fax paper and Ink, printer and Xerox, filing folders for paperwork. Or to pay a person to do the data entry Moving the money from one account to another.. Everything is done by machines using 1 and 0. So this money I'm being charged is the traffic thru the banking software. This is only reason I can think of, to why they are charging a fee. Now that is the money trap, because it snowballs, to where you keep transferring money not knowing about this fee. EVERYTIME I transfer money, after I hit my limit. I just got 3 extra charges for this. Does anyone the MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TRANSFER, before getting charge? This fee is not right. Any input, ideas, or advice about this problem. Thanks

KeyBank The whole branch and vice president and financial wellness

Yes I open an account in 2017 and after looking back at my records I noticed that there was an extra $700 deposit my account and when I went to investigate further into it I noticed that I may have been attached to another account I would call in and it would word things differently and it would lead me to believe I had another account I had every piece of docu of identifying documentation stolen from me this year my birth certificate my ID my a phone that had a main email address on it and so I've had a lot of unauthorized charges when I went in to inquire about a passcode that I had put on there that I didn't remember the financial wellness lady that helped me Martha was very rude kept acting like like what was I talking about like she had no idea what I was talking about and when I would try to explain it to her she would just act like she couldn't understand me I was getting very upset and I did get upset I asked to work with somebody else that is when the bank manager or the vice President Dan came flying around the corner telling me he's listened to the whole conversation and she was just trying to help me and that I could I had 20 minutes to act right or get out all the while standing over me and shaking his finger at me now I'm not super intelligent but I mean one customer is always right in too deep you don't ever make yourself Superior over your customer especially standing down on them. I stayed sitting I tried to keep, but by then I was way too upset I actually asked for my papers my statement which Martha printed out and I left I then called their online service and she apologized profusely and said she would contact which at the time I didn't know he was the branch manager I didn't understand that concept but she would contact him in and make sure she he knew what I was talking about he did call me the next day and we arranged for me to go in I went in and it was the same vice president man that was very rude to me we sit down he helped me fix my passcode we look at my account and I have questions and he seem to try to be sidestepping me steering me another way disproving me when I had proof right in front of me he went ask him I'm I wanted to dispute the charges that were fraud he asked me oh well did I fill out the paperwork will I have an account that is fraud protected I don't fill out paperwork and it says so in the fine print of their terms and agreements I have not been able to access any of my money I actually I got a letter the other day but of not the fraud paperwork but I've noticed that they were closing my account which I asked them not to because I was going to file the fraud charges online unfortunately I can't get on my online account because apparently I'm not authorized and I have to go back into the main branch which I'm not going to do so instead I'm going to file a formal complaint against them I'm going to hire lawyer and I'm going to sue themafter further looking at my statements and comparing the two and the screenshots that I have on my phone that apparently according to Martha aren't submissible because they're just screenshots they're all different and they're all different accounts and I didn't do any of that I have been frauded out of almost $3, 000 and KeyBank is just trying to silence me and be a bully Dan the vice president is a bully and it's proof of the way he handled me asking to speak to somebody else and kicking me out of the of the bank and then talking about me as I left you can reach me at [protected] I have paper documents of everything.

KeyBank unreliable service

I would advise opening an account with Key Bank for the following reasons

I never opened an account with Key Bank instead I had an account with First Niagara there was never an issue however there are nothing but issues at this point . When I make a purchase and or pay a bill and review my account online it can take up to three days for those charges to be processed throughout that time I am unable to receive an accurate statement of my balance .

I also never had a reason to visit a branch however I did in recent weeks and the teller was not helpful at all rather she was annoyed that the she had to processes my request which was to deposit a check and withdraw money from my account mind you she was just setting there were three people in total at the bank I was one of the three and the other two customers were being helped by two other tellers .

There was an error on my account when I noticed this error I contacted Key
they responded to my request and replied it would be complete by 1pm by 4pm the situation still existed the second person said it will take one business day when I called back a third time they told me it can take one to ten days . I asked why and they connected me to the dispute department who was not available as of right now I still have an unanswered question and what I need to do is close my account and seek help elsewhere

KeyBank overdraft charges

On July 31, 2013 Early in the AM my deposit of $500.00 was shown at my online banking. So at that point I had no charges. I shopped what I had in the bank during the day. And went to work. Then at late evening July 1 I started checking my account. That is when I noticed somebody switched my charges ahead of my deposit. The only proof I have is when Speedy Cash sent my money. And here is the resulting statement.

KeyBank Mortgage

DON'T GET A MORTGAGE OR LOAN AT KEYBANK! I am trying to save my house from foreclosure and KeyBank won't work with me at all but their rude collections department calls me all the time, including at 8:01 a.m. on weekends. They won't put anything in writing and they say they will send me a copy of my contract but then don't send anything. My credit union is helping me out but Keybank won't modify my loan, work out payment arrangements or do anything to help. Oh, but they were happy to take billions in TARP money from the taxpayers. Thanks for nothing, KeyBank.

KeyBank I hate this bank and can't wait for my direct deposit to be changed to a good bank

I hate their website. I can't even access my account anymore and I have called several times. Heaven forbid you have more than one computer they will make you enter you ridiculously long account number every time and I don't even know what the account # is and NOW they want to charge me $3 a month to get a statement in the mail. What other options do I have? I can't access the website. I hate this bank and can't wait for my direct deposit to be changed to a GOOD bank.

KeyBank changing my online account around to get overdraft fee

i was charged 2 times a$30.00 for gas i got only once on 9/7 i got gas for $30.00 taking out of my account on 9/9 another $30.00 was taking out for gas same amount same gas station, i was not even near the gas station on 9/9/2011. and also they changed my account more than once to make me get a overdraft fee i have a print out of this.also i got charged 4.50 for calling keybank about my ssi check, one person said it was there and dont know why it not posted ssi said the same thing

KeyBank they closed my acount

STAY AWAY FROM KEYBANK! I opened up a keybank account over a month ago, due to a good promo that they were running.Out of no where, my debit card wasn't working so I decided to give them a call. They told me that my and my wife's account is being closed .After a few days of trying to get through to the fraud department, I spoke to the women who actually closed my account her name was "Sara". She said "Keybank has a right to close my account with out providing any reason or notice". She was extremely rude and didn't want to give me any info.When I called again she said she doesn't feel conformable talking to me as I sound like a different person. Additionally they can't send me a check for my account balance, and that I have to go down to the nearest keybank branch which is 3 and a half hours away from me. I opened this account online since there was no branch near me. I find this absolutely ridicules, All I did was open and account and I deposited my money in there- no fraud whats so ever as I have never done anything like that. I used so many banks and no has ever done this to me. I can't even check my account balance online as they cancelled it without notice. I've never experienced dealing with someone this ruthless. I don't plan on dealing with keybank again but now i basically don't know what to do as I cant travel 3-4 hours to the bank.
