i had booked a hotel room one week in advance for a 2 night stay in keongsaik hotel. i understand that it will have a cancellation charges if i did not turn up.
i check-in on time to this hotel, but due to the room were too small for me, i requested for another bigger room. the front counter staff was assisting me to chenk for room availablity, but too bad that it was all fully booked. therefore this staff recommend me to others hotel near by...and i appreciate that!
i unable to stay in keongsaik hotel on that night. tha next day i received a call form my company, saying my credit card was charged for cancellation of booking in keongsaik hotel. immediately i purposely go back to keongsaik hotel and seek for understanding eventough i'm a foreigner and not familar with singapore.
after all, they accpeted my explanation. But when i back to my country, they twist thier word again. and till todaykeongsaik hotel still charging me this cancellation charges!
i wondering, is this the way that this hotel make extra money and profit.
i email them all this while to ask for refund. but the management of this hotel just threat me as transparent and keep silent! is this the standard operation procedure of singapore hotel????
