KFC - raw chicken

On June 27, 2008, my husband bought a 16 piece bucket of chicken from KFC. Although he ordered original, he got home, and it was Extra Crispy. At some point during the meal, our daughter finally gets past the breading on her chicken and it was RAW! I stop the kids from eating; now they have no dinner. We cut all of the pieces open and they are all BLOODY AND RAW! I had eaten through a good portion of my chicken breast and didn't know because of all of the breading. Everyone who ate the chicken ended up sick with vomiting and diaharrea. I've now spoken to 11 different people from the company, and they still act like it's know big deal. I have pictures that I would like to post to warn people what they might get when ordering from KFC. How do I post? Does anyone know who RICK MAYNARD is with KFC? He wrote me a crappy letter saying that food safety was very important to KFC...blah...blah...blah...When I wrote him back asking him to tell me his position within the company, he refused to respond. The KFC Corp. and these franchises need to be held accountable for serving people raw food. Yes, I did call my local health inspector who called the Corp. on my behalf, all to no avail. I can't believe this Corporation is still serving consumers raw chicken and getting away with it. Please write back with your story, if similar. By the way, I did return the raw chicken to the franchise after being in bed sick for 4 days. The only thing the manager and assistant manager seemed concerned about was the fact that we videotaped my returning the chicken and the transaction. What a load of CHICKEN ****

Sorry to hear about your situation.

Unfortunately, anyone can make up stories about their experiences and illnesses, etc. That is not to suggest it didn't happen to you, because I don't know one way or the other.

What it does mean is that valid complaints get lost in waves of deceitful lies. Remember the woman who supposedly found a thumb in her chili? Her name is Anna Ayala. Totally manufactured b.s. But she got her 15 minutes of fame...and later was sentenced to 9 years in prison. Her husband, who supplied the finger, got more than 12.

It cost Wendy's more than $2.5 million in lost revenue.

So unless you have irrefutable evidence that raw chicken, served by KFC, kept you and your family in bed for 4 days (such as a doctor's report or having your stomach pumped in a hospital or even holding on to the raw chicken itself), few people believe such things.

That isn't a slam on you, please understand. There are just far too many liars out for fame and fortune these days. People want proof, not a case of he said/she said.
