A while ago I wrote a complaint to Kelsey's about my terrible experience. All I got was a $20 gift card. I deserve more for this because my meal was ruined.
Me my husband and my two kids had spent almost $60 in your restaurant.
Also the price for steaks was $9.99 on the menu however we were charged $14.99. We argued over the bill but our server would not give in.
Second you only had three high chairs and they were all being used. I had to hold my child on my lap while I ate. I could not enjoy my meal. No one could enjoy the meal because my 15 month old was crying.
A week ago (after two long months) I got a gift card from Kelsey's. A $20 gift card, when I deserve $60 plus 10 dollars and taxes for the steak that you overcharged me for. This is a total insult as we had spent $60 at the restaurant and we only got a $20 value. I feel that you owe me an additional $40 in gift cards and also $10 plus for the misleading steak ad.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
My wife and I went into Kelsey's for a nice relaxing meal. I ordered a Ceaser salad and about half way through found a large and very disturbing piece of hair. Now normally I would say that these things sometimes happen but when the waitress came over and saw the salad she herself even said "OH MY GOD" I knew it was not just me.When she finally returned she told me that that they would not be charging me for the bresetta bread which i had also ordered. I was very put out at this. AN ORDER OF BREAD FOR THIS! I tried to finish the rest of my meal but was so put out that it was literally impossible. So my suggestion to anyone who is thinking about eating at Kelsey's - DON"T.
BEWARE: WORST FOOD PREPARATION EVER!
A note to all vegetarians, pregnant individuals, and people with any allergies, this restaurant is not for you. They cross-contaminate all of their food products and do not see the need to disclose this to the public. They fries French fries, meat and fish products (including shell fish) in the same oil and even cook and prepare these products together and they do not see any problems in doing so. Just to keep that in mind, if you are pregnant and are thinking about having fries and think it is a safe option at tis restaurant. The servers fail to inform you about cross-contamination going on in the kitchen before you order. I lie by omission is still a lie and not being informed before you go to this restaurant, can leave you feeling disgusted (as I am) or worst make you sick. There are better option, Kelsey’s is not the one 0/10…
I think you expect way too much compensation than deserved. You had the option, when you found out there were no highchairs available, to leave and go somewhere else, but you chose to stay and order. You ate the food, but now you want to be compensated more than you paid because of a choice you made. It's not like the restaurant knew there would be that many kids there. Sounds like someone was just looking for a free meal. Be grateful you got the 20.00.
