The hotel offers a good rate and a decent room. If that is all that matters to you, then this may be the place for you. However, if you like to be treated courteously and expect to deal with professionals that want to encourage return customers and referrals, this is not the hotel to select. The front desk staff, in fact the person who says they are the "front desk manager" is incredibly rude. If you attempt to get to a manager above that level no one is around and all you get it voice mail.

With persistence we finally got to the hotel's General Manager only to inform us that he'd spoken to staff and fully believed them and wasn't interested in hearing anything from us!

Pay the $20 and stay anywhere but there. You'll be glad you did. Mistakes happen. People have bad days. Sometimes things just don't go right. But when management refuses to listen to the consumer and flatly stands by unprofessional staff... that is an error in judgment that I can't abide and neither should you!
