KB Realty is incredibly unprofessional and rude. We have sent in multiple work orders that go ignored. There are cracked windows and torn screens that are health and safety issues that they have yet to fix, after a month of asking for the work to be done. The owner of the house promised to paint the home and our realtor with the company also confirmed on several occasions that she would do so. It has been over 2 months and the work still has not been done and they are telling us now it could be another 2 or 3 months, with no guarantees. KB Realty has offered no resolution, and only says its the owners fault because she cannot afford to paint, even though we have verbal and written agreements from August 2014 stating that she was going to paint before our move in date Sept 1 2014 . The house did NOT look like this when we originally saw it and agreed to sign the lease. There were paint chips that needed to be repaired. After we saw the home, the owner tried to paint and repair the walls herself . The paint looks horrible. It is mismatched and there are huge patches of it on all of the walls. If the house looked like this when we first saw it, we would not have agreed to rent it. They will not even let us pay for the repairs ourselves and take it out of the rent. The house was also filthy on our move-in day, and we were not able to move in for a week after what our lease stated. This has by far been the worst rental experience I have ever dealt with. When my husband called the manager Jaime Mora to discuss our concerns, he wouldn't let him speak, spoke over him and hung up on him. They have refused to help us come to a resolution. We were also told that the owner refinanced her home on 9/8/14 and this is supposed to be her primary residence. If that is the case, the lease is illegal and she is pocketing our rent money illegally. We want to end our lease and get our deposits back because of the unprofessional and negligent way KB rentals runs their business.
I agree completely. We moved into a home "with appliances included!" of which two did not work. This was over three weeks ago and only one has been fixed, so we still don't have a functioning stove. Not to mention outlets that don't work in the bathroom, doors that won't close and kitchen light that doesn't work. What a joke.
