Ask.com review: Refund 23

I was just scammed by just ask. It should be "just ask and we will steal your money on your credit card". The reason more and more companies are doing this type of theft is because the Law does absolutely nothing about it. Theft is now legal, so everybody is doing it.

They are complete rip-off! Hooked me with the $5 intro to post a question and then immediately charged me $69 for a full month membership I did NOT ASK FOR! They say it’s no refundable. I’m taking it up with my bank. I HATE THESE PEOPLE!

There blatantly ripping people off and why is there nothing being done to stop these [censored] from doing that if I knew where to go and find them I would beat the 41 dollars out of there [censored] to

Total scam ,they took a fiver then fourty something and then another £50 today ,out of order,shameless .

I went to this site was charged$5.00 for a free 7 day trial didn't get an answer for 12+ days after they charged me $46, 95 and the answer to my question was Wait for it. " You are wasting my time try, Lawyer.com" then I ask for a refund.

Total scam... they say only small amount for a question... as soon as you pay that with card details... they ook a huge amount, was not advertised at all. They it was advertised... lies. They say they will refund me within 2 hrs. Only the small amount came back. Said they would give funds back in next 4 days lies . It's a big scam buisness, forced to close bank card and apply for another for there behaviur. And can tell by others complaints...it's definitely a scam to deliberately take funds from your account, unauthorized. We need to shut them down, for good. Disgusting behaviour from them... it's a complete mess in Google not checking for legit business in professional dealings. Then need to be shut down.

Scammed by Just ask.com . They didn't send me any notifications after week trial and charged my bank account at different dates so less likely to notice the charges. Total scam they would not even give me back 1 of the 4 months they charged me even though did not use service and contacted them within 24 hours to get charges withdrawn from at least the last month; They would not refund anything. Total theft.

I never joined just answer but they have been taking 50 a month out of my account for almost a year, I’ve called and it did absolutely no good and you can’t understand them very well. It adds up when they have been taking it since last October! WHAT A SCAM! I even tried talking to them via their chat and they had the nerve to tell me they would send me a secured link so I could join?!?!?! Wth! After that I was able to talk at all, chat cutoff cause I didn’t click n join! Scam scam scam!

This is a a fraud company do not use this company. They are dishonest and cannot be trusted

Total SCAM! Initial call to Just Ask they attempted a bank fraud scheme. In reviewing my checking account activity yesterday, I found monthly membership billing for June & July for $46.00 a month. I called Just Ask to report I never applied for membership, customer service representative reported they do not refund membership dues. Called my bank and disputed the charge and cancelled my debit card. Legal proceedings should be taken against this company.

Tried to resolve a problem with Ticketmaster. Just ask charge me five dollars to give me a phone number that is not an operation. Very upset they are a scam don’t use them they do nothing

I used just ask to confirm a problem I had with my pet.. I presume I spoke on line to a vet. They were very helpful, they answered all my questions and were very friendly. I was amazed that this service cost just 1euro which I transffered from my credit card via PayPal. My pet is doing well which is not the same as my bank balance which is now 31euro lighter. I can honestly say to anyone using the service beware and make sure you cancel your automatic monthly payment that you had no idea you had made in the first place. you apparently have 7 days to do this from the initial transfer... I have been back on the site and can see nowhere that this monthly subscription exists.. BEWARE... I will be talking to Pay Pal regarding this group of thieves and also will be making the whole world aware through social media. I am sure we can bring this site down. Beware Just Ask

I called for help with my sewing machine and was sent to a car mechanic. Had already paid a dollar and canceled with in 10 minutes. This morning I saw where I was charged $37.00 on my bank account. I called the 800 number and was told when I paid the dollar I was automatically a member. I told him I want my money back and he hung up on me. How sorry can this person be and this company. That would be a good question to ask one of the so called experts.

This is a major scam. I was trying to find help and they represented themselves as an official site of a manufacturer. Then they tell me to pay $1.00 that is refundable to connect to something or another. I was multitasking at the time and stupidly click. They immediately tried to charge my card $37.00. Fortunately my credit card company flagged it and texted me and I denied it. I had to have my card shut down until I called the credit card company back to turn it back on again. This is cleary a scam.

Agree with ALL the above, I am disputing it on my CC.

I want to cancel my membership immediately. I do not want to pay a monthly fee. I cannot afford it. Please tell me the proper way to cancel this membership.

I called them because I was having an issue with my computer's operating system. I was told it would cost so much money. I gave them my credit card number and it was changed. Next month the charge came up again and again and again. I was lead to believe it was a ONE TIME charge.

Still unable to get back in touch with your representative.

These people are criminal, don't all or their scam!

This company just answer dot com will do anything but answer a question and they assume a new visitor knows everything and anything about them. being armed with only the infformation that in the previous call nobody would give me any (none at all, zero!) if I asked a question, I got pissed off at them for wasting my time and 8 calls later I was really angry because these knowledgeable people that answer their phones don't speak english well enough to understand a question I would ask and then this scam asked me for my account number, on the eighth call is when I find out these idiots are doing this for money. way to go properly informing prospective customers (me) you want to charge me to give me microsoft's phone number and you want money before I know you are capable of understanding my question or even knowing if you would know the answer. I got here because when I asked google for microsoft's number I was referred to theses [censored]. now as to profanity, sorry when it is deserved and also the truth, take it, but these idiots were claiming every multi-syllable word I used that they didn't understand was profanity and they want money to give me a phone number. maybe i'll start a business on a website called "24th century medical techniques and device available @21st century prices and availability, want to be younger?". and after I get their credit card I can tell them change you birthday to something more recent! that is what these idiots are doing. why get it from the horses mouth when the other end off the horse sees more activity. avoid these idiots, they don't even know what they don't know and that is scary!

I found nothing, but was automatically charged $46.00 on the 8th day after trying the service. The answer I got for my (supposedly) $5.00 fee was useless. DO NOT SIGN UP! This "service" is just a scam.

I never made an account to Just Ask.com and they charged my credit card$50.00
