DazzleWhite overcharege for a product I didn't get

I didn't sign up for no weight fitness and was charge $9.99 a monthly charge. called a cancel it and they told me to post on here if I wanted my money back. I feel people should not be allowed to just charge anything on your card and tell you that you need to post on some web to get your money back. I want my money and everyone should be aware of this frad that is going on.

DazzleWhite Illigal charges on my credit card

I have been charged on my card for a FREE TRIAL of Dazzle White $58.71 plus another charge of $85.37 from a company called HAPPY SMILES. I have never heard of Happy Smiles and cannot locate a number for them it is out of PROVO UTAH. Can anyone help me?

Warning this is a scam...
dazzlewhite has taken $58.71 OUT OF MY ACCOUNT TWICE...
HAPPY SMILES $85.37 ONCE...
I AM HAVING TO FIGHT TO GET MY MONEY BACK...

AND CANNOT FIND THE CORRECT NUMBER TO HAPPY SMILES!

DazzleWhite SCAM-YOU&LL BE CHARGED BIG TIME-LIARS

They are so tricky..They advertise that it only costs you the shipping and if you use a code the shipping is only $1.95. That's the only true part. I got the trial tube of whitening and decided to cancel as I just couldn't afford it right now. I was never told that if I didn't return the tube within 60 days I would be charged $58.76. I called the number to cancel (toll free) and told them to cancel any futher orders. First I was told that the shipment was already sent and I owe the $58.76. They couldn't change that but wouldn't send anymore. I asked when the shipment went out and then I was told that it wasn't shipped yet but I still owed the $58.76. I tried to tell him to cancel it. I owe nothing. He said to send it back with a tracking number and if they rec'd it by 8/28 then the cancellation would through but I'd somehow still owe them.

This is such a scam like you won't belive. The minute you put in for your trial, you owe them shipping and $58.76. They said it told me this in the print (sure, I'll bet you needed a magnifier to see it) at the bottom of the ad. Sorry...I never saw it. But I did see it was free except for shipping.

This may work great but I'd never buy from someone who has to scam you to sell the products...

I also agree, I just went thru this today. They are a bunch of scammers and cheats. They should put it in BOLD print that if you don't cancel within a certain timeframe you are enrolled in some program and they start billing you $87.47 until you can get through all the confusing email cancellation process! Then they threaten to put your name on a internet credit card fraud list! What a joke.

I've had the same problem with Dazzle White. It's a Scam. The funds are withdrawn from your credit card account to a foreign country (Greece?) along with exchange fees. Why would anyone in the US want a membership in a fitness club in the UK?

I tried calling the number from Mr. Satisfactin there, and it was consistently busy for three days. Now the phone call will not go through and you get the hangup signal. I finally just had my card cancelled.

Most of these online teeth whitening websites are scams. Once you fall for it, your finances go down the drain.

Never ever give out your Credit card details to online sites. You may as well be swiping your card to its limits for some one else.

DazzleWhite FRAUD...Dazzle White Products

CUSTOMERS BEWARE! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER for the so called FREE trial. They claim that you eill be charged only $ 2.95, etc for shipping. And GUESS what? You suddenly get FRAUDULANT CHARGES og $ 58.71 per month. It is next to impossible to stop this charge and continouous charges. These SCAMMERS are working out of a foreign Country. Cypress, Nigeria ans similar countries.

Yes i was bloody taken by this scam and I'm furious. It goes without saying that you should never cross an angry law student! I'm all for legal action against this scam! This is international fraud. I'm aware that this has effected many countries so i would be interested in co-ordinating a world wide concurrent class action suit. We would need representatives in each country that could compile all information and complaint testimonials relevant to their respective country. The power of this information combined is enormous! On its own, individual complaints will get lost among st the rest of individual complaints. Once we have a global indication of the extent of this scam we can forward all our collective information to each and every trade organisation. Next, we can obtain media attention. Anyone from Australia will be aware of A Current Affairs, a program which seeks out and exposes these scams on television. I can work on Australian media however, representatives of the USA, New Zealand, UK and any other nation would have to employ their own media coverage (although i will try and help).
I wont lie this will be time consuming for anyone who dares take on these ### If you have enough rage over such an abhorrent scheme, a scheme which i have read has ripped off money from a breast cancer charity, then please send me an email.
Please bare with me if i take a while to reply as i am researching the most effective means of countering these ### and not just shutting them down for good, but to make them an example of how the public has had enough! and yes, one person can make a difference.
You will rue the day you met me dazzle white/Brite- smile ...

DazzleWhite Unknown, unwanted charges

I ordered a small trial of some teeth whitening products, Vibrant Whitening and DazzleWhite. Small shipping charges were all I had to pay (I thought!).

Now, Vibrant Whitening has slapped a charge of $89.99 on my bank account, along with another charge of $9.99. I had no idea these were coming. I have not even tried the products yet! Now I expect I will see more charges from the other outfit.

On top of this, I received a recorded call that my order for AcaiBurn was in the mail. I have never even heard of AcaiBurn! I do not have a weight problem, and certainly never ordered anything relating to weight loss. The only thing I can think of is that they have some scam going with these teeth whitening trials.

BEWARE! I am guessing that I am not done with this mess!

This company is counting on people not reading the terms of service. Most of those just state a bunch of stuff the average person doesn't understand. I tried to go back to the website to see if that was the case and there is no way to get back to reading those terms of service without placing another order. Personally I never saw that on the order page. I think what they are saying on their site is fraud. They mislead the consumer into believing they are receiving a trail offer when in reality you are receiving a full order that you will be charged a ridiculously high price for if you don't return it in 15 days from day of order. That is really ridiculous, how can you test a product in that short of time . This whole thing is an out right scam and should be discontinued. I saw the ad on the news website and I also sent them an email telling them about the site. I had to cancel my credit card to keep from getting charges from unknown companies. It seem everyday I was getting them. There should be a law against this and if there is I hope they are charged.

Sounds like we are all getting ripped off. i placed the online order for "free trial offer" with both Vibrant Whitening and Dazzle Smile. i cancel with both companies before the trail period was up and returned their products. i am still fighting with Dazzle Smile to get my refund of $87.62. as for Vibrant Whitening...they never charged me for THEIR product but some company charged me $24.82 for a product called "online weight loss membership - world club fitness". its is an online crap weight loss scam! the company that charged me told me all of my order info with Vibrant Whitening including my order date and they name of the company. when i called Vibrant Whitening they said they do not know who that company is blah, blah, blah! so i have called my bank and canceled my credit card and started a dispute against they company. i have also filed a fraud claim. we will see where this goes. any good news i will post here! good luck

I too have fallen into the same "trap". My wife did a trial for teeth whitening products and we are now seeing additional charges on our bank statement. Funny thing is that she cancelled everything a few months ago after being charged a full amount for the product.

Being that a few months has past, different company names are showing on our statement. Proof of cancellation is in our possesion with a copy of the terms and agreements at the time of purchase, and we have filed a report. These would fall under fraud, theft, identity theft, internet crime, ect...

Just as these charges were going out, I was also being charged over $2000 in 5 transactions straight to my bank account. This is very serious and I would encourage everyone to file a report and demand the company/companies to initiate full refunds to all the people they have in their systems.

The website used was www.IC3.gov, an internet crime complaint center.

A partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

What everyone should do is contact the website that has their advertizement on their site and tell them about the company and what they are doing. It may not do any good but it might too. They are advertizing on cbsnews and I sent a letter to the them. You would think the Dazzlewhite would stop this. This can't be good for sales. They say they aren't responsible for what the other companies do but they give them our name and credit card number. It seems to me this is illegal?

Have you noticed that the companys answers all the complaints with exactly the same statement. I also had the same experience and I just turned it into my credit card as a unauthorized charge. I too never saw anything about joining a weight loss group and I read the advertizement. They say free sample all you pay is shipping then tell you the sample is actually your first order and you are charged. To me that is fraud.
As soon as I realized it was that, I sent back the sample unopened. It cost me return postage but so far the $89 charged hasn't showed up. Until I got the bogus charge for ezykit which I found out was this weight loss program I had no idea I had joined. It seems when you call and tell them to cancel your account that everything involved would be cancelled. That membership must have been well hidden. Anyway I feel don't order any samples of anything on the internet. I never will again I don't care who it is.

i am in the UK also i had the trial and returned it and was lucky to get my refund of 47 pounds back but now im being charged 5.95 pounds for no reason whatsoever from ezykit which are tracing back to dazzlewhite.

I cannot believe i was so stupid to have entered into this great fiasco in the beginning it has turned out to be a very harsh lesson!

Phil in the UK here. I had exacltly the same experience thinking I was only to be charged a trial cost then got billed the £55 + another £5.95 for some other internet access product for weight loss ! Im a bloody jockey by trade !
Have sent back the original Dazzle white product which did not improve anything and await their 60 day returns guarantee.
VERY CAREFUL FROM NOW ON !

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but we ordered the "free" trial which is hilarious because it is not free at all with the expenses we have incurred. We were charged $88.97, $ 9.99, and then $58.09 a month later from some company named
Ultifreshwell and $7.14 from ezykit and another .21 from Ezykit. Who these are I have no idea. Personally, I am filing a discrepancy with our bank and they have said they will handle this. We have never received any product other than the trial size originally ordered. How can these people rip you off like this? I will go further with this. The thing that kills me is we have received nothing, absolutely nothing from these people for these charges. Do not order from Vibrant Whitening!

DazzleWhite Cancellation CAN be done via Live Chat

Dear Friends - If you are finding it difficult to cancel any or all of the above membership scams and stop them taking your money. Try the following:

On a SATURDAY or SUNDAY go to Dazzlewhite Live Chat and ask the operator nicely to cancel all three memberships. If the operator tells you that she can only cancel the Dazzlewhite one and then gives you phone numbers for the others, then paste the following link into your reply and ask nicely again.

This is a copy of a Live Chat where the operator (Gail) gives in and cancels all of the callers memberships in one go - proving that they can do it if pushed.

It worked for me but my operator also happened to be the same Gail!

Same here, got me for $87.62, finally got a refund statement that said money would be put back into my account and if not in there in 2 weeks I was to reply to support@dazzlewhite.com...did that and got a failure notice on that email address.Include me !

I also have gotten in the same scam from dazzle white! first charged the $1.97. and
After I returned the product they soon charged me the $87.62 after I had canceled!
I have called everyday for the last week about getting a refund and even with my recipt from the post office they still will not give it to me! they are fraud and a fake
And I am really upset about this scam! as far as your refund? bull! you keep stating unforseen issues like "our wharehouse is behind" and other dumb answers they will give you! I am contacting an attorney and please add me to your class action!

DazzleWhite Deceptive Advertising

Dazzle White is tied to the website: http://www.cathysteeth.com They state to have a "Free Sample" if you pay a couple of dollars for shipping & handling. Once you fill out the enrollment forms, you are set up for an AUTO enrolled subscription that sends you a new shipment every month! Worse off is that they bill anywhere between $58 - $87 per month for this stuff.

The banks state that they are a "Subscription Service" and will not process any denial of payments unless their service is cancelled. They will not assist with re-collection of funds either.

Yes, I will agree with the comment above, regarding the web site ... they will take an auto draft from your account.. BUT...even when you cancel and FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES...they came up with another excuse not to refund my money..
I sent the product back, not opened, , , canceled everything, and placed a form that they emailed to me to insert before sending out & wrote ON THE OUTSIDE the RMA# (that they will give you), then they came up with an excuse they cannot refund my money because I did not put a receipt of the Shipping cost in the box, and they were telling me I put RETURN TO SENDER ON THE BOX, ( and I did not put that on the box) and due to that I cant...SO NOT ONLY DID THEY KEEP MY MONEY BUT ALSO THEY RECEIVED THE PRODUCT I SENT BACK NEVER OPENED ...& STILL CAME UP WITH EVERY EXCUSE NOT TO REFUND MY MONEY...

If you want to return product for a refund call SmileBrite customer service at [protected], but do not wait till it is too late.

You can call customer service, or if you want to do it online... you can.

Go to http://thesmilebrite.com/help.php and put in your information, and you can even cancel if you are a current customer, or you can see what date your account was canceled.

Smilebrite and this other website you speak of are completely separate from one another. They are not hiding anything. The terms and conditions were there when you purchased the product and you can find and read them again by going to there website at thesmilebrite.com and scrolling to the bottom of the page where there is a link. You can also simply call customer support at [protected] to cancel.

DazzleWhite teeth whitening system - &free trial&

Supposedly the "free trial" doesn't come for 3 weeks (according to a rep I finally got ahold of after the fact), but you only have 10 days to cancel the "free trial" from the time you signed up. Also, the website advertises 14-day free trial, but only says 10-days in the terms and conditions which I actually did read through. After that 10days you are put on an automatic billing for 2 mo supply and that charge cannot and will not be reversed. Since they are only open M-F 9-6 EST, you cannot cancel over the weekend. I called on the 10th day of my free trial to cancel because I never recieved the product to give it a try (didn't know the free trial would take 3 weeks and that I'd receive my first shipment from auto-billing before I'd even get the free trial). So much for the free trial before having to buy anything. I tried to call 2 different times on that 10th day (this was a Monday for me - I waited this long because I thought the product was going to arrive first, and I couldn't call them on the weekend either) and only got a call center type answering service - they said there was nothing they could do and that someone would call back within 24 hours - well that would make it too late to cancel the auto-shipment. So by the time I actually got ahold of someone who could help me (called twice a day every day and kept having to leave messages) it was Thurs and too late to cancel because the auto-shipment was already sent out. No where in their terms and conditions did they say that it is next to impossible to get through to someone when you need to so try way early in advance or else you'll be screwed over. The MOST they could give me was a $30 credit. . .I now have until Sept 20th to cancel before my next shipment goes out and the funds are irreversible. I could care less about this product - even if it does come and works great - I am sooooooo upset with this company and their code of ethics I could just scream! I now have to take more time out my busy schedule to dispute this charge on my card.
I am hoping Mark A. and Addie M.'s responses about the full 60-day guarantee are true. I just sent an email to Mark A. and am giving him until 8-5-09 to repsond and make this right. If not, you can bet I will be posting more in this site. My only concern is that I will never receive the product (like what has happened to many people) and therefore will not have anything to send back to them to get my full refund back.

I placed an order for this on the 3 July 2017 and they promptly took the grand total of $14.90 off my South African Credit Card.
To date, which is 7 October 2017, I have not received the product. They do say there is a 60 Day Money Back Gurantee (Which doesn't start until after the 2 full weeks). CAN I PLEASE BE RE-IMBURSED FOR THE USD$14.90?
I look forward to someone getting back to me please in regards to this.

This company is a rip off - they say it's a free trial, but they really sign you up for a $87/month service. Even after you return the product within the time allowed they do not provide you a refund. You have to contest the charge with your credit card company and provide proof of return before they take the money from the company and credit it to your account. IT'S A SCAM because they believe most people won't go through the effort even if you play be the rules. BEWARE!

On re checcking my credit card account, after my letter posted yesterday, I have found that, this Company Dazzle White Pro has filter out of my bank account the sum of 108.42 GBPounds Via my Credit Card, using the fo;llowing company names to do so operating from Cypruss.:-

Elitepack.
I hate to think what other company names these people are using to bleed peoples accounts dry. This Company should be stopped from trading and made to pay back all of the money to the people that have been caught up in their web. Not enough is beeing done to stop these crooks from carrying out their scams.
There should be more policing of companies selling and the way they advertise their products, if they don't comply they should be brought to book and shut down. This is well overdue.

This is rediculous! I received what I thought was a 14 day supply to try, NOT. I was charged $3.24 and then after I received this pen (which by the way doesn't work), I was charged $58.76. I just received another charge of $58.76 again for something that I have not even received. I called Dazzle White and they did tell me how to get the FULL refund but of course it will cost me insurance and shipping to make sure of that! I realize that not all thinkgs that appear on the internet are true but this is a SCAM

I am unemployed and was scammed by promotions for DazzleWhite and CleanWhites 14-day trials. Neither product worked as advertised, and additional charges appeared on my checkcard before my trial was even over! I also acrued several "Foreign transaction fees" because they charged the product to an offshore company. My initial $1.95 and $0.99 purchase has increased to $49.95+.06+.03+$6.99+0.21 and $79.28 additional charges. Is there any chance of getting a refund? What these people are doing is ILLEGAL!

The first thing to do is to immediately cancel the credit card. If you used an atm card, cancel that. They cannot charge to a non existant card. Then contact the bank regarding the fraud and protest the charge. Show any proof of shipping for all products you have returned (send via UPS with tracking). Good luck. This place is an incredible scam, I fell for it too. I cancelled immediately (but FIRST, I CANCELLED MY CREDIT CARD!) and got the same nondescript message of cancellation. I also told the person who called that I did NOT AUTHORIZE the order. So far a charge for the free trial ($1.95) is on my card, but they cannot charge any more, so hopefully that is all I have lost.

I have been scammed in exactly the same way and want, no need, my money back where it belongs. What surprises me is, the banks know about this scam as I found out when I called them, but they are unwilling to do anything about it. When they see a transaction such as this you would think they would contact you and ask if you want it cancelled before your bank account ends up down £100+ because they know exactly what it is. I found all concerned very unhelpful. It would make a difference if the banks stood up to these people too as they are the ones we are trusting with our money in the first place. Yes, I'm bloody angry that they are getting away with this and wholly agree with Ms Had Enough. Money for nothing because I never even received any goods. Jaycee.

DazzleWhite scam

Dazzle white and Dentech both are guilty of unethical business practices. That is just my( and hundreds of others who fell for the scam) opinion. I'm just saying. Wow! What a wakeup call. Again. I can't believe that I fell for this. Twice. Cathy from Tallahassee said what a wonderful job dazzlewhite and dentech did on her teeth, that I just had to try the "free" sample. I know inflation happens but $69.98 is a lot of inflation. I ordered the samples just like Cathy from Tallahassee said, and in a few days I got a call from someone verifying my information. The first person that called to verify said something about a $100 gas card. She talked nonstop and I didn't get a work in edgewise. When she stopped I said something like uh huh. I did not say yes I would love to sign up for your program and yes please charge my credit card monthly. They never asked me anything which required a reply. The second person that called talked so fast that my mind was on going out on the boat on sunday and my eyes were glazed over. When he finished his speech, I said wow could you repeat that only faster this time? Again, not once did I say yes I would love for you to charge me a monthly fee for something, (I am not sure what) but it sounds great. I did receive both samples and then a few days later I received the packets saying enjoy your membership. One was United benefits advantage and the other was ID sentinal alert. I have contacted the FCC (because they use the phone for soliciting the unwanted membersips and also the better business bureau.

DazzleWhite SCAM

My girlfriend oredered a free trial of whitening brites and dazzlewhite. Before she could even use the trial offer they charged her a combined total of over $300.00. After a week of back and forth emails with both the companies, supposedly they are going to refund her money when she returns the products. They gave her an RMA number to write on the packages. My girlfriend never even opened the packages. Witeningbrites charged her nearly $200.00 in total. Dazzlewhite which, according to some post she read, when used hand in hand with whitening brites was supposed to work really well, ended up charging her over $100.00. If any of you are interested on making a class action lawsuit email me @ [protected]@sbcglobal.net. I am poor, so I dont have money for an attorney and I dont know how the legal system really works or if theres anything we can do about it, but feel free to contact me. Again, Witeningbrites and Dazzlewhite are SCAMS!

DazzleWhite Unauthorized Charges

This company, or better these companies are running a big costly scam. (Dentech, Dazzle White and Axis Wellness) You are offered a trial for "only $4.95" for a teeth whitening product and before you know it there are several charges posted to your bank account. So far this trial has cost me $105.88. I have called and also e-mailed them demanding my money back with no avail. So today I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office and the Better Business Bureau. I urge anyone that has been scammed by this or these companies to do the same.

Shut up your dirty mouth! Denta White, Dazzle White are real crooks. You are so shameless to try to "clarify" your company. Read those advertisement by your company in California Consumer Weekly, "Teeth Whitening During a Recession", make up a local Mom or a single lady, with name as Lisa or Mellisa, a nice photo and even address, and then fake 10 or 20 review, and sometimes with "due to SPAM, no new review are accepted". Also look at your website, a charge of S&H of "$0.99" is in the center with big font, and then in a dark, very small font area, consumer need to pay $92 or $58 after 14 days. All this design is try to utilize the loophole in internet, try to cheat people. Luckily you didn't put something like "after free trial period, consumer is automatically on cotract to pay Denta White and Dazzle for $5000 per month", I thank you didn't put this way, otherwise I still need to observe this agreement since I didn't see it, due to a even big sign in your website "HURRY, OR YOU WILL MISS THE FREE TRIAL", yes, I hurried, so you win!
So shut up you ugly mouth, don't try to be innercent, everybody know you are crooks!

DazzleWhite unauthorized sharing of credit info

If anyone (including myself) bothered to read the fine print "terms & agreement", no one in their right mind would agree to these terms!. Basically stated that by giving dazzlewhite your credit card info that dazzlewhite will subscribe you automatically (with or without your consent) with other "subsiderary" companies, share your credit card account so they can also charge your card at will! Try to cancel your account. You need to call each company (that you didn't subscribe to) that you may not have known existed, obtain a cancel # from each company and pray your credit info will not be used again. The only way to stop this maddness is to contact your credit card company and change your account numbers. Also ask any of these "subsiderary" companies who is the parent company... Good luck trying to get a straight answer (if they were doing a legit business, why not give out this info). By the way.. This "parent" company now has your credit card number as well!

DazzleWhite scam

This company is a scam! I ordered 2 sets, one for my husband, one for myself. Immediately upon ordering, my account was hit for $58.76. I called immediately, waited through the automatic messaging, and then sat on hold for 25 minutes (toll call). I was told that it was a hold, until the 14 day trial was over. I told them I wanted an rma, as I would be returning it on the day it arrived.

I received the product, and first off the item didn't have an product in the tube. The tubes were empty. I immediately packaged them up, printed a priority label and shipped them back with the rma's marked clearly on the boxes.

I got confirmation of delivery 7 days later that the product was recieved. Which amazed me - as I paid for priority!

I just checked my checking account a week later, and they charged my account twice for the product! I tried calling, but again put on hold for over 20 minutes. I tried live chat, only to be told that I have to call, due to privacy matters.

They are truly a scam! And I think it's ridiculous that we have no way of recouping our funds!

I would also like to know, how they advertise that they are on cnn news, abc news etc... I'd like to know if there's a way to check that, and if so, could we make them aware of all the scams?

Any information on that idea would be extremely helpful! I for one, am tired of being scammed and having no options for retaliation! Let's face it, with our justice system, it would cost me $1000's to recoup $100. So, they get away with it!

From cnn website saw "mom" advertisement testimonial on dazzle white pro. ordered trial for $1.95.
14 days later an additional unauthorized charge of $58.76 showed up on my account.
Called the company at [protected]. after about a 10 minute wait on hold, the csr told me I had agreed to the charge by paying the $1.95 for p/h for the trial and that if I didn't call within 14 days i'd receive the full product. I replied that I had not authorized the $58.76 charge and that even if I supposedly "agreed" due to some buried "small print" that I had not authorized this additional charge which is credit card fraud and that i'm going to report dazzle white pro to the ftc and better business bureau as a scam and a fraud. csr said, wait just a moment please. after about 1-2 minutes, the csr came back on and told me that my account had been canceled and that the full amount ($58.76) would be refunded back to my card. I did receive two e-mails. one that listed the cancellation, the other the refund receipt. now i'll watch closely to see if they follow through.

I hope this helps others that were caught by this scam.

I too just had a problem with dazzle white, where I ordered what I assumed was a sample for a 14 day trial. I spent the $1.95 to have their special limited time, limited availability free trial offer that has a clock ticking down on the time you have to order one of their free offers. meanwhile your cell phone sends you multiple text messages telling you how much time you have left. at the end of the order it shows you a screen that goes into how if you "choose" to continue after the 14 days that they will begin charging you the $58.76 monthly until you cancel. it doesn't tell you to call and cancel before your 14 day trial period is over, the way I was rudely informed when I attempted to correct their error. I found the charge when I went online do some banking. I contacted their live chat employee, who told me that I should have read their terms & conditions and while telling me that she forwarded me a link, to exactly what shows up that the end of your order. (nothing of which states the actual terms and conditions that they hide at the lowest and lightest part of their website.) so they told me i'd have to pay to have it shipped back with the insurance and they would reimburse me my money. when I asked to speak with a supervisor I was informed I had to call in, which I did later that day. when I called I asked for a supervisor and was informed that no supervisors were taking calls, and that I was welcome to send the product back. they know full well that they hide the information that is the most important on a page that no one will see, but don't bother to admit. their canned response about how sorry they are and to simply call them is bunk, as no one in their company will do anything different, no matter what you try to threaten them with. this type of company is why most people have become leery of utilizing online products. I won't stop trying to make sure your company and reputation take on the bad name it deserves.

I began an ordering process for the product and was led to believe the charge for delivery of the trial product was quite nominal.
As I went further it was made quite clear I would be later charged an extra sum of $128-45aud. I subsequently bailed out.
I don"t believe the company was deliberately trying to"scam". as always, read what you're agreeing to first and check the tos.
If you don't like it, don't go ahead. hence the old saying"buyer beware"

Wow... great scam. live and learn and these low life beings are feeding on everyone who thought it sounded like a good idea. didn't really check out the fine print... big mistake. went away for a few months and to say the very least... nice surprize on the old visa when I finally saw the statements. looks like I joined weight loss resourses, world club fitness, premium white... and who know what else.
Have placed calls to all of them with no hope of ever getting a refund... again... live and learn.
Talked to visa and they know about it here in canada but only offered to supply an email address for they... little do they know that the emzail address is not acceptable to cancel they programs... you must call them all in person and get a cancellation number.

I agree dazzle smile is a scam as is the other product that the lady in the supposed consumer news report suggests using in combination. reading the terms and conditions carefully, I read that the other product required return of the unused product so I did not sign up for that one. I saw nothing in the t&cs displayed for dazzlesmile requiring any return and I read them carefully. I tried to print out the t&cs and I see that none of them printed out. if they are requiring return of the unused free sample that is definitely not what their t&cs said. they did say (in very hard to find fine print) that they would automatically sign me up for expensive continuing shipments but I am canceling within the time allowed, assuming they pick up the phone. if not, I will have phone records as you do, to prove that I tried. to be sure there are no charges, I am calling my credit card company right now to have them refuse all charges. you all should do that immediately even before attempting to cancel with dazzlesmile. dave

I recently ordered the trial before checking to see if this was legit. too late. I did check immediately when I did not receive a confirmation email. so, I would like to add 2 more items.

1) first, the 24/7 live chat doesn't help with anything, instead it's only there to appear they care.

2) second, per the contract terms: "order confirmations orders are confirmed with the customer by telephone before they are shipped. we do this to make sure that none of our customers are victims of fraud or identity theft. this also helps us feel confident that our customers have made an informed, conscious choice to order our products or services. we do not want to have anyone charged for our products and services if they are not what they really want."

Therefore, everyone should receive a call prior to the product shipping. however, the 24/7 customer support rep falon confirmed dazzle does not follow their own contract terms. I will update tomorrow, if I get a call prior to shipping the product.

Here is a snipit from the live chat regarding the above contract terms after I posted the "order confirmation" information:

You: so, i'm asking when will someone call me?
You: were you able to find out when i'll get the call?
Falon: your product has been processed and you will receive it within few business days.
You: that's not what your terms say, before you ship the product, your team will call me to verify
You: so, when will I get the call to verify I want the product shipped?
Falon: for further assistance regarding your shipment, you have to call our phone support at above provided number and they will assist you much better regarding you query.

I've had charges of $49.95 and one for $79.28 pristinehlth (which I haven't a clue!) believed to be an "up sale" from my original trial purchase of dazzle white pro.

I've had my bank reissue my card and open a dispute against both charges.
The lady at bank of america said they've gotten lots of disputes against this company.

I tried calling [protected], rings fast-busy like its "out-of-service"!

I've also dropped the JW picture into Acai complaints as well. Can't remember which ones but spent at least an hour doing it!

I got caught by the scam - but after setting up a dispute with my bank and a couple of 'threatening' phone calls, so far I have only lost the postage costs. But checking on-line every day is a pain! Still makes me spit blood tho'. You can see by the locations of the complaints that it's now pandemic - worse than Swine Flu!

Hello everyone. Call me Kevin. I used to work at the call center for Just Think Media, and was well aware of our scam. The managers knew it and acknowledged it, so did our operations manager, but we were the highest grossing call center in our chain until the orders for the products stopped coming in and they closed our call center. A few facts you guys should know. We were always told to say that our headquaters was in located in Des Moines, IA. We later changed that to Aurora, CO. However, the actual headquaters was located in Edmonton, Canada. At first we were told that if the customer threatened to go to the attorney general, then to give full refund. We had a script on how to react and how much money to give back depending on certain reactions. If you kept arguing we would give 50% then 100% unless chargeback or attorney general were mentioned. After that we did away with that. It was a scam, everyone through upper management knew it. All of the phone numbers up above got routed to the same call center. We were trained on how and what to do for each product. Websites were always changing to throw the consumer off. Post any questions you may have and ill be happy to answer. Just Think Media is no longer affiliated with the call center I worked at, but I dont know is that means they are no longer in business.

I too have been deceived over this 'free' trial offer. I cancelled it over the phone, email and letter, and had a cancellation number and confirmation email, but they are still billing me for other products or charges I have no knowledge of. It is in dispute now with my credit card company.

Why don't the authorities proscecute or shut down these scamming people?

STOP. Nothing but fraud. My story is the same as everyone else's..they tell you $1.99 for S&H, but then will charge you $88.97. This is for Dentech Whitening & Dazzle White..This won't happen to me again..

DazzleWhite Unauthorized Credit Card use

I fell for the "Dazzle White" teeth whitening system, which is the same company using the [protected] phone number as their company name. First they ripped me off for USD $578.76 but I could not disput the claim due to lack of verification. Today they charged $7.14 to my account using the [protected] phone as their company name, which led me to a google search and finding this topic. I canceled my credit card, requested a new one, and will be VERY CAREFUL from now on, about using the new card. I've never even heard of this tea, and certainly didn't order it. Those people should be thrown in jail for credit card fraud!

I went through the exact same thing with Dazzle White. In fact, I got so frustrated with this whole ordeal that I actually went out and invested in the domain http://www.DazzleWhiteScam.com to let people know about this BEFORE they get stuck in the same situation.

A couple of tips to help you get your money back (posted by users at the site above):

1. Call them before they ship anything to you - yes, you have to ship that little tube back within 14 days of the order.

2. They HATE chargebacks. You can call your credit card company and have them reverse the funds. For a good example - see this post: http://bit.ly/zHmn7

3. Insist that THEY cancel the order to the subscriptions that they automatically enroll you into. It takes a bit, but they are willing to do it if you press hard enough on them. See the comments on this blog posting for a step-by-step example: http://bit.ly/9Liac

4. By just mentioning the fact that you may call your CC company and have them issue a chargeback, Dazzle White (scam) will be willing to reverse the charge themselves - they are penalized heavily when the CC company reverses the charge - aka it costs them money.

It happened to me too! I noticed a charge of 58.98 in my credit card so I checked what it was about, turn out a product to whiten teeth which I didn't order to begin with. I called my credit card company right away after googling about dazzle white scams. I don't generally buy from anyone online unless is from amazon or a BBB member. Beware of fraudulent companies such as this one!

Much like the lady whose complaint I've just read, I feel like I've been completely taken in by this company who are clearly operating sharp practices and probably making $000's of dollars by hoping people don't notice the microscopic small print in their "Ts & Cs" - which they kept repeating like a mantra.

Luckily there is a returns office in the UK so hopefully the postage won't sting me like the unexpected shipping costs have.

I just have to wait to receive the product now so I can sent it back!

Anyone in the US - is there a regulatory body I can send in a complaint to?

Do NOT purchase this crap! I am a Dental Hygienist and I am telling you this pen is only worth about $5. We use it in the dental profession to SLIGHTLY lighten a tooth that may be a shade or 2 darker than the rest, and that is all. Also what people need to understand is that in order for there to be a signifigant change in tooth color we aim for around at least 7 shades of difference. one or 2 shades is NOTHING. Also they claim that Dazzlewhite will change the color of crowns, veneers and tooth colored fillings, It will NOT, there is not such product, even for us dental professionals! If you don't return the pen in 14 days they charge you $79.99 to your credit card, you could see a dentist for only a marginal amount more. Don't buy this product, it's just a scam! If it's too good to be true...hope this helps ppl.

In addition to the difficulty in getting $60 credit back from Dazzlewhite for their "free trial, " I also started receiving several approximate $5 charges per month from affiliated rip off companies. I finally had to change and cancel my credit card (twice) so that "pre-authorization" Dazzlewhite and sister companies claimed they had couldn't be charged to my card for $5 - $20 per month.

Hello. I'm a happy customer of this product. I had no problems with the charges because they were all in accordance with the terms listed on the page where I submitted my credit card, and the free trial arrived on time. Additionally the product works! and its worth every penny. I think the owners of this company are smart, hard working young professionals and the people who sign-up and then get mad about the charges should not order things that they don't fully understand or can't afford. DazzleWhite False represetation of a product

Spoke with Supervisor ? (JOSH) ID# 125120, This company is a scam, They staed that they would send a 2 weeks trial tube. The tube arrived 3/4ths of the tube was empty.and then they charged my account $58.76 But since they said I didnt return the tube within 2 wks. that I was respposible. There is no change in the color of my teeth and this company are ripping people off, and needs to be banned from the U.S. You know something is wrong when a company constantly pushes charges through at 1-3 a.m. WARNING DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. Same thing happened to me I was charged $78.56 for the free trail size product. I called and they said read the terms & conditions. I'll send a copy to attprnry generals office and file a complaint against the company. It might not do any good, but the advertising is false and mis leading. If they get enough complaints they'll investigate the company.

The Dazzle White is a complete scam-they told me that i will be charged $87.50 to my account and also
I was sent a half of tube of the product and 2 other products I never even ordered and they want $78 for
those to. They will screw all of you over--I do not know how I am going to pay my rent !--I can tell you
that I am getting a Fraud Agency involved--This was supposed to be 99 cents!

PEOPLE, PEOPLE! you MUST read the "terms and conditions"--just scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'terms and conditions'! if you don't, you WILL be scammed. fine print is legal--and if i see ANY offer with a 'free trial', i KNOW there is a catch. live and learn for everyone else, i guess... check out the site of that eyecream and the skincream, both in green jars--you know, the stuff they say they 'gave out to celebrities in gift bags at film festivals'? if you order the 'free trial' and don't cancel, the 'free trial' will end up costing you almost $200--they say it's a 'free MONTH supply" trial, but they send you 2 MONTHS WORTH, the whole of which costs almost $200--and this is all LEGAL, because it tells you in the
'terms and conditions' just what they're gonna do--you just have to look on the site.
what do they say, "LET THE BUYER BEWARE"? well, now it should be, "let the TRYER beware"...
