This pet store advertises as a homebred breeder on the internet. They claim the puppies are homebred and supreme bloodlines and come with breeding rights, and health papers etc. We got a very sick puppy that almost died from the owner who claimed they were breeders and not a pet store. The vet bills to save the puppy 24 hours after we were given the puppy were 300.00, and we paid 1200.00 for the bull terrier puppy. After reading all the papers that the breeder aka pet store owner gave us, turns out the puppy came from her pet shop, and she has a guy doing all her business outside the store for her. I paid him not her, because i thought he was a breeder. Come to find out through private investigations they are business partners despite him telling me they were a married couple with a kennel. He refused to pay for the vet bills, and denies all of the lies i caught him in, he gave us fake papers for ica instead of akc, and also no vet papers proving health or shots, hes a complete fake puppy mill organization and i have turned her and him in to various nys agencies and i hope they get shut down. I found a women who had a similar experience with the pet store, knows the owner and they sell sick puppies to the public all the time and then refuse to deal with it. They have open and many unresolved complaints against them with the bbb in ny, and i hope that everyone out there will know they sell sick innocent puppies, they backyard breed using a fake kennel name and then sell the puppies as registered homebreds online or through their pet shop. Its despicable. I hope this helps and no more little sick puppies suffer at the hands of these people.
Update- they have changed their names again and continue to sell sick puppies. Their new website is www.thefrenchbulldogbreeder.com I can't keep up these people- I guess thats the point. They keep changing info including their personal names to avoid being caught by all the complaints posted about them. I've seen them as Fazzo's frenchies, Just Puppies LTD, Pet Spa, D & A Kennels. There are 2 women I've met- a taller skinny woman named Dawn and a shorter woman with bleach blond spiked hair, originally introduced herself as Marie Fazzo but now it's Dolores Ferraro? PLEASE do not buy from these people. They are brokers- who ship pups from overseas puppy mills. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Any breeder you talk to ask for records- AKC papers, medical records, medical testing records, and all references. Check out the parents and their kennel/living situation. Meet past litters and talk to as many references as possible.
unfortunately I also Purchased a male Bulldog from Anton and Dawn. But have not had a problem, I feel so sorry for all you guys whoa have had to endure all this pain. My dog who I named Ross is doing well now and I thank God for that. But we have to go further and get these guys shut down. Do not buy puppies at this or any other puppy mills store. My King Charles Cavalier Spaniel had a deformed leg that was not noticable as a puppy. After much money spent at FVS in Tampa, the store ended up giving the dog to me for free, but the heartache of thinking I had to put her down was not worth any amount of money. Once you take the dog, they are like giving back a defective child. It cannot be done. After much research, I discovered the dog was indeed from a puppy mill in Ohio that had many citations. Shame on those of us who unwittingly become accomplices. I still have the dog and love her, but let this serve as a warning to others.

I have purchase two dogs from Just Puppies. Both were ill.
Last year we purchased a French BullDog from Just Puppies. Within a few days this dog was hospitalized and close to death with pneumonia. The vet told us the puppy was about 5 weeks old and had been weaned too soon from mother. After a week in intensive care and a bill of $3500, we brought the dog home and nursed it back to health with round the clock care. Six months later, the dog needed an additional surgery because he was unable to go to the bathroom; this also cost $3, 500. Now they are saying he needs one additional surgery (also at a cost of $3, 500 as he has a genetic problem with his penis.). We are calling him our $10, 000 dog.
Several vets have asked us if this dog is possibly a mix between a French Bulldog and a Boston Terrier, so we are not even sure of the Breed.
DO NOT BUY A DOG AT JUST PUPPIES. NOT WORTH IT. WHILE WE KNOW WE SAVED OUR DOG'S LIFE, WE ALSO PUT MONEY IN THEIR BANK ACCOUNT.

i just bought a puppy and then someone made me aware of your complaint?
We bought a french bulldog puppies from these people. They also go by fazzo's frenchies- w/ the website www.bullybreeder.com. And I've also seen them under D&A Kennels, Just Puppies Ltd and Pet Spa. DO NOT buy a puppy from these people. My puppy was sick after having him for a few days. They took them to their "vet" and he died a few days later after both the breeder and vet told me he would be fine and they were just waiting on test results. Ultimately we did get our money back but this seems to rarely be the case with these people. I have asked for his ver records of death certificate but the vet will not release them to me unless approved by the breeder and the breeder claims to have faxed them to us but this simply is not true. If you had a problem with these people please report them to the better business bureau as well as tell your story to thewrongpuppy.org. They are an organization that investigates and goes after awful people like Dawn, Anton, and Marie (if that's her real name)
If you are looking for a quality bull terrier puppy, probably for much less than what you buy one on the internet for, go to the Bull Terrier Club of America website at www.BTCA.com to find quality breeders who have agreed to abide by a code of ethics in an effort to uphold the temperament and health of the breed. They also have a bull terrier rescue with dogs available...
Im having a similar problem right now with just puppies. Ive had my puppy for about 3 weeks and since then ive spent over 2000 in vet bills. Not including the bill from the specialist he is currently at right now.
