JPB International Services employing maids

JPB Katong is not any better too. The agent there only serves you eagerly when you have a new contract. Thereafter, she doesn't bother when you have issues. They operate by individual basis, meaning you can only approach the agent who ‘sell you the contract'. In her absence, the others won't do anything to help you. I have had 2 Filipino maids from them but none was able to meet the most minimum household chores. What they claimed have been trained, weren't. What they claimed have gone through medical assessment, ended up having a gynae issue after 2nd mth. The problem was an untreated one, accumulated since her last childbirth 7mths before her arrival in Sin. The other 25 years old maid (1st time in Sin) threatened to leave my household after the 3rd mth because her mother, who also works in Singapore, found her an expa family. She refused to give me even a week's notice, simply packed her stuff & boycotted from work on that very morning after I came back from biz trip. She came up with various excuses by saying that she couldn't handle the housework (when there are only 3 working adults) and that the house was too quiet (she needs people to talk to her, despite my giving her unlimited usage of Home Wifi to FaceTime/Whatsapp her mum/family) & asked for a transfer.. The agent didn't do anything to help, simply said to let her go and discouraged me from upholding the contract which required 2 weeks' notice. The agent said this term was simply added in the contract for MOM purpose.
