This company is apparently a scam! I made a $10, 000 deposit with them and their coralstoneofflorida.com website for multiple areas of work in my home and got
nothing! Not even a thank you or a phone call! They also have another scam site called customrangehood.net that you may want to watch out for as well.
I highly recommend that everyone steer clear of the company that operates under the name of Coral Stone, Custom Range Hood, or Coral Stone of Florida and
no telling how many other names these criminals operate under! BEWARE! John Stenke, dba Coral Stone is a scam!
I will add more details after the court case is resolved.

Last year, in November, I contacted CoralStone to inquire about a custom made range hood. I spoke with a John Stenke. Luckily, I decided not to have one made and sent no money, however, a few weeks later I received an email from John Stenke telling me that he had traveled to the Caribbean and someone had stolen his wallet and all his money and was requesting me to send him thousands of dollars through a wire transfer! Of course I did not. However, this guy keeps showing up, almost like he's stalking me and I'm about ready to contact the police department. He sent me notification from his Linkdin account and asked me to join, almost hounding me about it. He tried to befriend me on facebook and today I was notified through Pinterest that John Stenke is following ALL of my pins on Pinterest! My husband is a retired Police Detective Sergeant and will be contacting Mr. Stenke to tell him to cease and desist. Please, do not do business with this guy, he's a scam artist or something!
Please note that the owner named within this complaint and his business have no negative listings on the Better Business Bureau. Likewise, this business has a brick and mortar location in Nashville, TN where it produces high quality custom cast stone products.
This business is not aware of any customer who has lost a $10, 000 deposit and furthermore this business is a custom designer and manufacturer of their product, not an installer. If this complainant has hired somebody for "multiple areas of work",
it could not be with this company. Based upon the short period of time between the first complaint and the sister complaint that follows please question the validity of this complaint as the business in question has run a respectable business for many years with hundreds of satisfied customers. We find the statements in this complaint to be untrue.
I agree that this company is a scam! The sales person who I believe his name was John Stenke as described in this article is the same SOB that got me. Fortunately he only got me for $2217 as compared to the $10, 000 that was described.
Buyer Beware and Steer clear of Coral Stone or you will get stone walled in a way that you didn't want.
