Joe Ordini's Pools / Damaged SPA
Spa was damaged during install and "Tommy the Technician" who installed it claimed to be prepared to replace the punctured cover and fix the broken slat outdide the spa. Small items, but we wanted our brand new spa to be complete. We called in January to find out when it would be fixed. The woman who answered said to wait for better weather. We began calling again in May, then June, then weekly in July. In October I called Jacuzzin in California to complain. Finally, in October, Tommy the technician came out to fix it, after phoning to tell us how busy he is and what a stupid problem we have. Nine months to bring the spa to what should have been original new condition in the first place.
Then we started having troubles with the sound system - it would turn itself on, very very loudly, and blare static noise and could not be turned off without turning off the whole spa or re-set button for the radio. Spa will be out of year warranty in December. After calling Ordini's, the following emails ensued:
Dear Mr. Ordini,
On November 6th we requested service on the radio on our hot tub which we purchased last December. We have come into your business and called weekly to get some response. On November 20th, Tommy the technician called to tell me how busy he was and that he'd call some other time to schedule the service. He proceeded to yell and be very rude to both my husband and myself about his hectic schedule and how busy he is. We have not heard from Ordini's since, despite calling to talk to Tom P, the general manager. Our previous experience with service was damage that Tommy caused during installation that he promised to repair. It took 9 months of calling repeatedly before he responded. Since the tub is still under warranty, we'd like to know when the radio will be repaired.
