Jewelry Television (JTV) seller is thief, who doesn't provide orders

The company www.jtv.com is horrible and unprofessional. I ordered some jewellery from them, but these scammers only charged me fast. After several weeks I heard nothing from them and no info about my order. It was useless to communicate with them, ‘coz everything what they promised was fake. These people are scammers and liars, who promise a lot, but in result you get nothing. Please post your comments about this company.

Jewelry Television (JTV) bait & switch

After placing an order for a beautiful Morganite ring and several other Moissanite items was surprised to find all items in individual small plastic zip lock bags in one small box. There were no individual boxed items. The order total was $1, 500.00, and packaged like dollar store merchandise. The Morganite ring was not what was demonstrated on the TV. It was returned the following day with the shipping label and comments section filled out completed as directions dictate. Included in the return envelope was a handwritten note with my account number, name, item number, order number and description of item received not being what was ordered. ( They never mention receiving the note) The big gaudy ring was returned to me, did not want it the first time, now it was here again.

There were many calls to customer service, the order was never sent to my email at time of placing order, or receiving the return. I did find they had changed my email address, and that was corrected. Was told a supervisor would call in forty eight hours. When Ann called after a day or so, she promised to call the following week, on Monday. When that did not happen, I called and after a twenty minute hold, she was on the line. She relayed there needed to be a letter stating why I did not place a call on the phone stating the item was wrong item. There are no instructions to use the phone. She had forgotten to return my call, and placed me on another long hols time. Travis was the next supervisor to come on the phone, he was going to sent another return label.

This purchase was on 08/17/2014, the call with Travis was on 09/11/2014, the label came on 09/18/2014. It should be noted that Ann and Travis both said a dispute with JTVPreferred account would only delay a refund, however,

JTVPreferred account gives you thirty day to file a dispute. Copies of transactions went to credit company by fax and hard copy.
My last communication was a call from last Friday from Jessica Andrew and she has promised to call me back on Monday, ( tomorrow) and says she found the ring I received on a website, wanted to know if I shopped from this firm, which I never have.
Wanted to know if people stole my mail, ( who would steal mail and exchange an item?), Bottom line, I received the wrong item and there was nothing I could do. Nnw, I used a 20% discount that was credited to my account for returning merchandise JTV sent me that I did not order and was not charged for. It took two calls to get a return shipping label, so they do make mistakes. On second call, was offered to buy items at half price, had no desire for them at any price.

I am in hope this will be worked out and JTV will credit my JTVPreferred account for the $642.00 charge. AT this moment, I have no ring, and they are not giving a refund after a month and a half. Somehow this seems all wrong.Be aware of what can happen! I have enjoyed purchases for years from JTV, as I have been making jewelry since the 1950's. I hate to lose this relationship, however, this is to expensive and time consuming.

It is ok that you do not like Moissanite. Don't purchase! It is not acceptable to call Charles Winston a crook, if there is no proof, you did not share information to document that. Your calling me a fool for buying, could be correct, but for wrong reason. My complaint was for process of completing exchange, and JTV did correct that.
There is a lifetime warranty on every Moissanite sold at JTV. It offers a free replacement in original mounting against, lose stones, cracks, scratched stone, and loss of brilliance. This is for life at no charge. Moissanite is not a diamond simulant, it stands alone.

When you call someone dishonest and can't substantiate the charge, you can be held responsible for their loss of income. Personally, your writing does not inspire me against a purchase, can't see how it would affect any sound minded consumer. As for Winston being fake, have you been fortunate enough to visit the Family Jewelry business where you must be buzzed in? Perhaps you saw the beautiful diamond donated to the Smithsonian . That is some fake! I love Moissanite for just what it is, the compliments are many and I enjoy sharing my positive experience.

Should anyone care to give me Moissanite, I would feel so fortunate. Did purchase a 7.3 DEW oval ring before Christmas, it was not as expected and was returned. Loved the style, would try again when one comes along that has the fire and brilliance I've come to expect. Mistakes happen and you move on.
Moissanite is beautiful, that is my concern. Fran Arnold

There are some beautiful items sold on JTV, and I have many of them. Have been making jewelry for fifty years, purchase many findings through JTV. My concern is the Moissanite I returned was switched at JTV with a less expensive stone and the blame placed on me. It is frustrating that there is no way prove it, they are a big company. On the other side, I have not touched the stone they sent to me, so someone who handled it may have left their print on it. I have never seen the stone they returned to me, in my entire life, that I can swear to in a court of law.

Jewelry Television (JTV) damaged merchadise

I recently purchased a diamond ring from JTV, the ring's diamond are all cracked, broken, split and just horrible diamond. Basically the throwaway diamonds, the ones that are not approved for jewellery. I also bought a diamond tester which is broken and does not work. I contacted the company and they told me because I did not purchase the protection plan that it would cost me to send it back and also for them to try to fix it, if they could fix it they would, if not they would just send it back to me broken and I would just have to keep it that way!
I do not care if it was 10 days or 100 days! They sold me broken and defective items that I paid for and they should be responsible for replacing them, it was not 1000 days, it had only been 30 days for the ring and 90 days for the diamond tester and that was because I thought I was doing something wrong and was trying to rouble shoot and reread the instructions which I had explained to them, instead of just sending it back not knowing if it was my fault or not. This is an outrage! They sent me broken items and know it! I did not ask for a refund only a replacement and they wouldn't even do that! I was a long time customer of theirs until I realized that their stuff was pure junk and stopped buying from, but that was not until I had spent nearly 8, 000 dollars! Someone needs to shut them down and now!

Tried to upload photo but wouldn't allow me too.

Jewelry Television (JTV) bogus shipping on auction

Three auction items combined into one envelope for shipping, but three shipping charges charged totaling over twenty dollars shipping on a $21.00 purchase, total ripoff. Called customer service (and I use the term lightly) and they simply don't care. I've ordered over 160 orders and spent over $6000.00 with this company, but not one penny more ever again. FOOLS !

i just hope that everyone who has or had complaints against jtv, has learned a lesson the hard way, to stay away from jtv and their auctions... you join auctions on tv . any shopping shannel you will get ripped of, .. first of all, the company has their own peoplw to bid for them, and to see how far the bidder will go for that ;piece, , the company bidder has a good idea how far the bidder will go . and then stops . knowing the costumer has paid twice as much as that pierce is worth . stay away from auctions, you will be the looser every time, , .

Totally agree. You win an action item for 2bucks and they charge you the shipping for 6.99.i think they make a lot of money out of the shipping costs. They also don, t refund you anything if they claim they don, t receive back the item even though you have proof of evidence.

Jewelry Television (JTV) never by white diamonds from that site

Well... They lie. Never by white diamonds from that site, they won't even tell you what color and clarity they are, guess why, cause 98% of diamonds they have are garbage, they literally pay pennies for them and selling them to you for hundreds of dollars assuring you that's a hell of a deal ! Believe me I'm in the jewelry industry and know it all! BTW not only jtv does that there are ton of companies out there that will tell you anything to sell. If u can't afford nice diamond jewelry try natural african white zircon or moissanite, man they sparkle !

Stones are a gamble, beware if you get a bargain on auction, you might not get the stone, and if you do, the cost will be made up for in shipping.

Jewelry Television (JTV) nor exce[tng coupons and free shhippingjerlsery jew

I have been ording from jtv for a short period of time but have spent alot of money with this company. I rarely get to use coupons but on my order on aug. 12th was watching live and with watching was stating free shiping that nite, i also had a coupon for order of $299 or more 40dollars wood be applied and taken off my order. I used one coupon before and after you put everthing in and get your balance it has been subtracted from balance due. Well i did not notice till next dday that nothing was deducted from my order. So with the 40dollars and 6.99 shipping i was cheated out of 46.99. The final bill was 441.97 and if they done what they promised i would only owed $394.98. I am new to a computor & have had a hard time finding were to complain. Abd still dont know if this is where i need to be. I should be refunded 46.99 which was deducted from my bank acct. So need to know what i neeed to do other than sent mt ring back which i have wanted for a long time. Then sending it back and reordering will lose my cupon that wa good only for the 12th...Please help

I discovered this site a few days ago, because I think something is very "fishy" about their auction site. But...aside from that, I have had excellent service from them. I ordered a ring with a 10% discount. They forgot (?) to apply the discount and I called them about it. They were very apologetic and gave me the credit...AND a 20% discount on my next purchase. Three years went by before I ordered another ring ($250) and asked for the 20% discount. They gave it to me without question AND threw in free shipping, that I didn't even ask for.
Several years ago, I ordered a tanzanite ring during a 20% discount promotion. The ring had a huge "window" so I sent it back and traded up. They transferred the 20% credit to the 2nd ring. It too had a window, so I sent it back and went for a 4.25 ct trillion cut tanzanite ring ($3, 000) and they, again, gave me the 20% discount ($600!). It was a keeper.
I'll b**** if something is not right, but I'll give them credit when credit is due.

Jewelry Television (JTV) false advertising

Don't buy anything you see them advertise on TV, you WILL NOT receive what you thought you purchased. My first purchase was this way. They were advertising some spectacular opals that were clear with tons of fire inside them. When I got mine, it looked like a freaking TOOTH. Sent it all back, waiting to see what I have to go through to get my money back after reading all this stuff here. I suspect I'll have to dispute the charges to my card.

Jewelry Television (JTV) I will never, ever order from them again

I ordered a ring over night for my wedding. It came a week later. After walking down the aisle with no ring. Once it did arrive, a stone fell out. I sent it back for repairs. They returned it with a cracked diamond, rhodium missing and prong damage. Then on a return I sent, they said they paid me back...but no money showed up in my account. Two people were helpful. Many others were not. They claimed to not know anything or what to do. I will NEVER, EVER order from them again.

Jewelry Television (JTV) charges/statement error

Returned all items and canceled my account and informed company. They still sent me a "statement for $554.53 dated 03/09/12. I contacted them 3 times today by phone and after waiting a long time on hold, still didn't get any answers either from the phone no. [protected] where statement was sent from or the customer "care service" from the company... I mailed the last item back to them per their own pre-paid label and it hasn't been credited on this or any other statement as yet! However another item which was sent by me (Per ups) after the amount in question has been credited it's been over 4 weeks and i haven't any idea what's "going on" and why
The credit hasn't reached the correct places to give me a zero balance! Can i get an answer?

Jewelry Television (JTV) theft, bait & switch, poor customer service

I have been dealing with a serious mistake JTV made on an order I placed with them months ago, with no resolution. I haven't been able to speak with a supervisor at JTV, although I've continued to ask for one. I hope no one experiences what I have... Back in November of 2011, I purchased a $1, 300 gold diamond ring from JTV. The package they sent me (that was supposed to contain this ring) actually contained a completely different ring. The ring they sent me was a silver ring with a purple stone, no diamonds. However, the packing slip that came with this ring was for the item I'd purchased--the $1, 300 diamond ring, which means they charged my credit card for a $1, 300 diamond ring, but sent me a $40 silver ring. I immediately contacted JTV's customer service department. The representative told me that these mistakes happen all the time and not to worry, but to simply send back the ring I'd received and JTV would send me the correct item if my size was in stock, or they'd refund my credit card. So, I did this. I also wrote what had happened on the return slip. However, as of today, March 14, 2012, I have yet to receive the diamond ring JTV charged me for, or a refund on my credit card. I've called and emailed JTV regarding this matter, and JTV has sent low-level representatives to deal with this matter--people with no authority to fix the problem who have told me that there's nothing they can do. The last representative I spoke with had called me, but as I tried to explain to her what had happened, I heard her place the phone down on a desk! With "customer service" like this, I doubt this issue will ever be resolved without litigation. The amazing thing in all this is that I'm considered one of JTV's "best" customers. Well, not anymore. This is part of a much larger issue--what is a customer's recourse when they buy something online but receive a completely different item (one that costs much, much less)? The retailer is in the driver's seat and the customer is stuck. Online buyer beware.

Jewelry Television (JTV) return damaged item and to credit my jtv credit card.

Be aware of JTV my mother was shopping for a diamond ring for my sister's graduation and decided to apply for JTV credit card. Although, when the ring arrived a couple days later there was a diamond missing. So my mother called, JTV and explain to the Customer Service Representative that she wanted to return it and have her JTV account credited. JTV Customer Service told her no problem that, as soon as, the item arrived they would process the item and it would take up to two weeks.
Also, if the item did not get to them on time my mom would still have to make a payment on her JTV credit card account in order not to be late. My mother told the Customer Service Representative that the same day she received the item she sent it back as directed by their customer service representative with an enclosed slip and mail it back to them. Today my mother called JTV and the CSR told my mother they received the package, but she would have to make a payment if the company doesn't credit her account on time and that JTV and their Credit Card Bank who issues the Credit Cards are different entities? I find this kind of business quite alarming and wonder how can this company deal business, as if they were from a third world country?
I never heard of a such thing in my life and the CSR told my mother that is how their policies are written and there isn't anything she can do about it? I'm disgusted because companies like these make customers make a payment, even if the item is defected and already returned to their warehouse. It seems it's done on purpose. So now when the company observes the ring for defects and decides to credit my mother's new JTV credit card account in another 7 days . For some strange reason if it's not done on time she still has to make a payment even if the credit card was opened the same day she bought the ring, which was two weeks ago.

It shouldn't take this much time. I noticed in other reviews other customers have noticed missing stones in their items, as well. This shows poor quality, poor service, poor conduct, poor business etiquette and deceitful to customers in general. My advice to all who are reading be careful and go by your instincts. Pass this on...

I have also experienced poor customer service and quality with JTV. When calling if not placing an order I can immediately hear a different tone in the CR's voice and detect a rude attitude.
I have stopped doing business with them since I never knew what I would be getting. Many times the item was nothing like the item displayed on their show and I have noticed very frequently that when the host spoke about the item she would say "This has never been done before" or "these are offered at our lowest price ever so order more than one"! I usually record the program to watch at a later time since they air while I'm at work and I take notes and try to decide whether to order or not. From these notes I have determined that the host has lied since very often the item was offered at the same price or lower on a previous airing.
I also read the comments on their site and on blogs and there are an alarming number of similar complaints regarding quality, shipping delays and customer service complaints.
There are reputable companies out there and JTV is not one of them!

Jewelry Television (JTV) jewelry rings

I ordered a ring on Feb 3 2012, it was a ring kit with free setting, Padparadscha sapphire, I knew the stone was lab created, but I was excited about this ring, at that same time I ordered 3 other items, i of which I was notified that I would not be receiving. Well on 2/15 /12 I order a free setting Ametrine ring, I receiced this ring, with the Padparadscha invoice on the following Fri. I figured it was a miss pick, so I waited over the weekend when, Monday came it was Presidents Day nota mail delivery day, so Tues. after the mail, I called Jtv, told them what happened, was told by customer service that she emailed the warehouse, and that it would be all straightened out, I was on hold 25min. that time. Waited until 2/29/12 called again, explained what happen again. On the 3/2/12 I received a notice via email from paypal that I had been refunded the money. The money for the Ametrine, not the padparadscha Sapphire, Now I am moving to Mexico and called again, told them their mistake, and so now it is to late for them to send me out a ring, but they are refunding me $3.40 more, should have refunded me the money for both rings, can't send back Ametrine have no invoice, not my mistake JTV's mistake.

Jewelry Television (JTV) shipping

I've been watching jewelry television for a few weeks and have seen some things I might like to purchase. I finally called earlier and was set to buy a ring. After a computer issue that prevented me from purchasing and having to go online to find the item number, I was told the shipping cost, NO WAY! Too high and a joke (esp. for a first time buyer). Glad I did not buy anything after seeing the comments on this board. I will stick with ebay and my local store. Too bad, I'm a great costumer and buy a lot! The shipping costs are a joke with this company!

I have purchased several rings with JTV the extended warranty (Thank goodness) because I have had to return several because the "gems" have fallen out. & 1 diamond. that looked like bad glass. Yet I still would get mesmerized by the surfing through the channels and lately bought 2 rings costing around $200. I watched the tracking daily/ hourly. As Soon as it said it was delivered by Postal Mail...Jewelry I ran to the mail box. It was not there. The post master said he swore he put it in the right box, none the less it was not there. I got a notice off the web because the news said there was someone that had a master key to postal boxes. I sent this letter to JTV asking if they had some sort of insurance for theft they do not insure jewelry sent through the mail. I was out my $200. They act like I was trying to get double my order. I feel like if a company like this should offer you UPS tracking with a signature or Fed-X. I feel that they should have stopped charging my credit card if I said I did not receive the merchandise and when I told them I contacted my credit card company to stop payment I was told I would be contacted by a credit collection agency. Frankly I said Bring it on. I'm 52 & if you think you can hurt my credit at my age good luck. I won't be doing business with a company that can't continue to give business to a returning customer for $200. Surely you could write it off & I wouldn't be making such a stink if I actually got my merchandise one and 2 if I didn't really want the stuff. But 3 times burnt I've learned go to Macy's or Dillards for your fake jewelry.

When JTV sells you an item with free shipping. Either it needs to be stated that if returned they do not credit you with full return, They have now starting taking the money from your items that you purchase and are now charging you for the shipping even though it is never mentioned when they sell it to you. I used my own shipping labels and pay for them myself and now JTV has the audacity to charge me shipping and a late fee.
First and foremost it looks nice on the TV and when you receive item it does not look as nice and who would keep it. I would rather pay shipping in the first place knowing it is being charged to my account rather than it being deducted from the total of the items that were charged. I have been told I owe them. This the first time they have done this to me and the last time. Fraudulent selling practices I called JTV to ask them why are they charging me and instead of full refund for items they are deducting for shipping and it is not their fault but the JTV credit card's Then I called the credit card company and they said it was JTV's fault and if they would reduce the charges then it would be OK with them He then suggested I write to PO box 5018 Timonium, MD if I was unhappy but that I needed to make a partial payment. in the meantime. I don't feel I owe them anything as they need to tell customers that if they return item they will be charged for the free shipping. That is the right thing to do! Inform your customers! Don't make them angry and discontinue shopping with you! Be upfront about your charges! I am discontinuing my JTV credit card and anyone starting a class action suit against their unfair business practices Please let us know on these posting .boards.
Thank you.

I WAS an employee until today when JTV fired me because I couldn't get to work in the snow and ice where I live. I traveled 70 miles round trip a day to get there for 5 years. They changed the attendance policy from a 10 pt. system to a TWO pt. system. I accrued 2 pts. quickly due to car problems and not able to make it to work. They fired me today because I wasn't able to get to work Fri. 13th because it snowed where I live and not AT JTV, which gave me 3 pts. I have to say, now that I am free of them, that all customer complaints are valid and true. However, I must say, it is NOT the operators' faults. Nothing is. We were there to HELP you and glad to do so...to go above and beyond for the customer, even under terrible working conditions. It just KILLED me when customers would say "I would love to work there" and I wanted so badly to say.. NO you DON'T! When the new CEO (a lawyer) Tim Matthews took over 4 yrs ago everything went to hell. He took all benefits, morale, increased stress and anger and frustration. He "bought" a new building which has a front door elevator, which employees are not allowed to use to keep us away from the VIPs...it is NOT designated handicapped. We just have NO PERMISSION to use it. We have to take 3 flights of stairs, which, by the way, is a fire escape. IF you are handicapped, you have to use a service elevator on the opposite side of the huge building, because you are also not allowed to park near it. You must walk through rain, sleet, hail, wind, etc. to get to it, wheelchair or not. You must walk about 1/4 miles around this building to get to the service elevator. A supervisor said they implemented the new attendance policy to get rid of "riffraff." If WE had said such a thing, we would have been written up for saying negative things about employees. So. I guess now I am considered "riffraff." No. This is NOT a nice company, and NO you are NOT part of a "family" they just want your MONEY and yes, they DO LIE to get it. The hosts lie through their teeth to make their goal. If you wonder where a host has gone, it is because they get fired if they do not meet their goals, moneywise! Yes, they watch the operators now on their monitors . They can watch every move an operator makes on his screen, every click, every letter. They monitor and listen to every word we say. No. It is NOT a good place to work. The pay is the lowest in the state for a call center and there are NO raises since Tim Matthews arrived. This company deserves to die.

Jewelry Television (JTV) shame

JTV provides no tracking numbers, but simply sends jewelry through the Postal Service as if they're mailing a letter! I ordered a ring, which has not arrived after nearly 2 weeks. When I called, I was told that I have to wait 21 days to file a claim, and then wait for the paperwork to be processed BEFORE my refund. There can be no replacement because the ring is sold out. Even though our regular letter carrier is on vacation and mail is being delivered incorrectly, JTV so-called Customer Service will NOT do anything on my behalf until the 21 days when we START filing the claims.

Sometimes the mail takes time to be delivered. If they refunded your money and then the ring arrived, would you contact them to re-charge you? Probably not and then you have free jewelry.

Jewelry Television (JTV) bad customer service

Recent dealings with JVT have been AWFUL. Ordered items on-line. They sent 7 items in one bag and YET charged me shipping on each item. Then they sent five separate items and charged another $4 each item. I returned some items because I did not like them; checked on my credit card account and discovered they deducted $7 for each item returned using their labels. I asked them to help out this disabled senior citizen on a limited income -- DID NOTHING. It makes me realize that I need to read and comprehend everything including the fine print. I will NEVER use JVT to purchase ANYTHING on-line ever again and have deleted JVT from my channel directory. What a RACKET! Read and listen to everything - they make it sound like it's a good deal but when you add all the charges - it ain't!

I received a call from icore canada asking me to call back ...that its very important. the number is [protected]
I Usually hang up but this time i called back. I first asked what this company does but he wouldnt answer. I gave him my phone number as requested and he transfered me. I asked again, " who are you and what do you want from me". When he matched the tel number with the name he mispronounced my name(badly). I asked him what country are you calling from ...twice. He said Toronto. I said Toronto is not a country. Silence...then "Canada". He asked for my postal code.
I said unless you tell me what you want, i will not give out the answer. No response. I ended with a request to take me off their phone list and hung up..

I work and JTV and must concur with most customer complaints. The return label they send with thsce package is for the Returns Dept. gain only. It scans what is in the package, etc. to make it easier to process returns, however, they DO NOT tell the customer there is a $6.99 charge for use of that label. As an employee, it disappoints me, as do several other practices of the company. Just don't feel bad. The employees are treated no better than warm bodies for a phone. The majority really do care about your problems and orders and are MORE than happy to help you, but when the new CEO arrived 4 yrs. ago, he took away all the benefits that made us happy to work there. No Christmas bonuses, no parties, no 401K match, and more. So, in essence, we are happy to help you but we don't LOVE our jobs anymore. We do love the majority of our customers! We feel angry and disappointed that some of the misleading practices they force us to use or not use anger and upset our customers. Trust me when I say, and spread the word, that we are being forced and told what not to say and to omit from our calls and information for you and we ARE being recorded, and we get scored on those phone calls. Please don't blame the customer service or operators, I beg you. We are not responsible for any of JTV's actions. We are there to serve you the very best we can with what we are allowed to do. Our "powers" for you are very limited. Don't miss a great jewelry deal due to JTV's imposed "rules" on your operators. I love the majority of our product and purchase quite a bit, but if the need arises to return, I go straight to the Post Office! :) Hope you come back!

Jewelry Television (JTV) items not received

placed 2 orders with JTV within the last month totalling over $300 dollars. The first order arrived and I was pleased (order of $60). I was able to track the order and its whereabouts and got it in less than 2 weeks. However, the 2nd order (over $200) had no tracking info available to me..every time I clicked on the USPS website ..it said invalid tracking numbers. Needless to say 3 weeks go by and i received nothing. Called several times to get help from customer service and the only thing they kept telling me was that I had to wait 21 days to file a claim on it. 21 days to file a claim and then another 14 days to be refunded. This hardly seems like good business practices and JTV should change their policies. Meanwhile I am out $200+, and no items to show for it. On top of that I contacted my bank to try and get a cancellation and they are investigating; but because i used a Visa/Debit bank card for it, I am not protected as if it were a major credit card. I'm not going to shop with JTV anymore..they lost me as a customer! Why would the cheaper order have a valid tracking number and the more expensive one, not? Makes no sense!

Jewelry Television (JTV) inept customer service and poor item tracking

For months I had seen items displayed on the JTV channel, amazed at the sheer number and quality of the items on display and the low prices they asked for such pieces. Recently I decided to try my luck purchasing a Garnet Cross Pendant from JTV, and was happy with the fact that I've obtained this piece at a reasonable price and that it would soon be on it's way.

However it was not meant to be, as after having the confirmation of the transaction sent to me along with it's tracking number, I find out that the USPS tracking code supplied to me was either invalid or the item simply was never scanned by the USPS. After calling them, and spending hours being bounced around from one rep to another, they were at a loss as to how such a thing could transpire and told me that I had to wait until 10 business days expired before filing a claim with the USPS for the piece.

I've purchased items from QVC and HSN for years and never experienced such problems with shipping, nor had I ever dealt with incompetent customer service reps who basically said that I was the one who had to file the claim with USPS for the item, all I have is the word from JTV that they even sent out the item with no proof and my credit card had already been charged. It was on to me to undo the tangle that they themselves created, basically them washing their hands of the business since they already have the money on hand. They refused to even check to see if the item was even really sent out to me, they didn't care, they had the funds already and left me to try and deal with the USPS on my own.

This isn't how a business is supposed to be run, you do not make a first time customer whom their sales folks on the TV insist they want desperately, jump through so many hoops just to get an item they had purchased in good faith. Again, after years of dealing with QVC and HSN, never had I experienced this issue, never had I dealt with such poor and rude representatives and I could only wish there were more ways I could dissuade future customers from making the same mistake I did by putting faith in this business.

Beware of any dealings you plan to have with this company.

Jewelry Television (JTV) substandard merchandise

I am into jewlery and designing. I have been purchasing with JTV for 2-3 years. My last four purchases have been substandard merchandise. My advise ... don't buy any rings or other jewlery that have small stones around a larger one as they seem to fall out easily. Not only have I paid for the merchandise, but I have also paid for the repairs. Don't purchase settings due to the fact that the millimeter size of stones do not match up to setting sizes? And... most of all don't ever think you can set stones in settings purchased from JTV. The prongs are usually defective, light weight and too short for a proper fit. Do not buy diamonds either as they are ususally milky and poor quality with settings that are too weak for the amount of stones uses. If you want my advise ... just visit the gem shows yourself. It's a great trip, you meet lots of great people and artisans that actually care about quality.

Jewelry Television (JTV) horrible customer service and lies

This company is not only incompetent but does not care at all about the costumer. I have never had such a horrible shopping experience in my life until I made a purchase from them. What I can't understand is how a company like this can get away with this behavior. I purchased a ring from them, a very special item that was ment for my little sister. I spent all my money on this and told my husband that I did not want a single present for Christmas, that giving this ring to my sister would be my present. I spent weeks searching JTV for the perfect ring, as I have very little money and wanted to make sure I could get her the best thatI can afford. The problems started right away with them failing to send me a conformation email, then there was a mix up at the post office and it was sent back to JTV for some reason. We contacted them right away and many many times since and were told over and over again it would be sent back to us the moment they received it. Well that was a complete lie, we called them and they said they received it and they would be sending it to us soon, the next morning we get an email saying that our "return" will be credited to our card in 14 days. I was beyond upset we have spoken to so many people there and everyone was to know that it was to be sent back to us ASAP that it in no way was a return and was only being sent back to them because of a horrible mistake made by the post office. There is only one of these rings so there is no way. They could send me another one, we called them and asked how this coul possibly happen and they as always could not do anything to help and did not offer to compensate us in anyway. They know in great detail what this ring means to me, that it isn't just a ring, but a gift to my sister during a extremely painful time in our lifes. We have spoken to so many people there not only by phone but several emails, and no one there is at all capable of doing anything to help a costumer if they mess up. They ruined my Christmas and this heart felt gift, and won't do anything about it. Even at mcdonalds, if they mess up your order, they will compensate you in some way, but Jtv will not and trust me when I say THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU and will not try and fix their mistakes! SO NOT BUY FROM THEM! there is much more to my story bur it is way to personal to mention on here and if you knew how they treat people who are even is such pain, you would be disgusted

I don't think you have any grounds for a complaint against Jewelry Television. Your anger should be directed towards the post office instead, which apparently misrouted and lost your package. JTV has no control over the post office's business. They can't return to you an item they don't have. You say JTV credited you a complete refund on a "one-of-a kind" item that the post office never returned to them, that's a miracle in itself! What more did you expect them to do?
