I write to enquire about two issues. The first, a FINANCE CHARGE, is actually affecting my monthly Jewelry Accents bill. Specifically, as of my February 2nd statement I am being assessed a $1.00 recurring FINANCE CHARGE. Why? It simply appeared and smacks of bill-fee cramming. Consequently, I would like an explanation and subsequent remediation of the practice. The second issue surrounds that of the ballooning APR (ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE) that I cannot help but notice with every new statement. For February it was 33.8340% and in March it is 37.1280%. While I fully intend to pay my outstanding balance before expiry of the one-year deferred interest period, I can only wonder how the management and-or employees of GE MONEY BANK can substantiate such a rate.
