JetBlue Airways disrespectful and unprofessional treatment

This past Sunday June 17th, 2008 I flew to Havana, Cuba from Fort Lauderdale International Air[port in flight #1999. Upon arrival I proceeded to the immigration booth inside Jose Marti International Airport. Even though I had all the documents required by the Cuban Government, I was inadmissible by the government and not allowed to enter Cuban territory. I was escorted back to the same plane in which I arrived and returned to the United States.
My complaint is the following:
The representative of Jet Blue in Havana who claimed to go by the name of "Luis" treated me very unprofessional, disrespectful, and condescending. His behavior was that of an officer of the Cuban Gestapo and not of an officer representing an American Company.
I tried to obtain from him information regarding my luggage since I had never been involved in a situation similar to this one, and his response was in Spanish " Get in the plane now and leave, you can deal with your luggage once you get back to your country". He even threatened me by saying that "If I didn't get on the plane, I was going to have to find another way to get back on my own". Again, this should not be the behavior of a JetBlue employee, regardless of what country we are in.

JetBlue Airways thrown off the plane

My 2 sons were thrown off the plane because they stated they were under the influence we all went to my oldest sons wedding we had to travel bavk to our home towm the next day we all had a slight hangover no treat to anyone on the plane all we wanted to fo is sleep until we reach our destination no one was disturbing anuone or causing problems my 2 sons fell asleep one of them was sitting in the wrong seat all tje flight attendants had to do just ESCORT him to his right seat instead of telling him je jas to get off and then went and woke up my other son and told him he has to get off they had to stay in the airport until next day that was uncalled for i spent one thousand and change in airfare and to be treated like that if thats the case then why does Jetblue sell liquor on plane if they smell alcohol on a passemger who is no treat to anyone.I will be getting my attorney and suing this is [censored]. I will never fly with Jetblue again and i will tell my friends and family as well.you will be hearing from my lawyer and myself you know how embarrassed we felt on that plane.

JetBlue Airways long wait time at jfk

I was to take flight 0185 out of Rochester NY with my wife and daughter at 5:35 am. The Plane broke down and that met I was to miss my connecting flight to Ft Myers Fl. I was told that I was to take flight 1729 out of JFK at 6 pm and was the only one I could have. That means that we had a 9 hr wait at JFK and we did. However I feel that the wait time was not acceptable. I feel that the person helping us could of done something different even if it was to another city in Fl and then over to Ft. Myers. They were not even that friendly or concerned about our situation. Not professional at all. I have always flown Jet Blue and I'm not happy the way that this was handled.
When We boarded the plane 1729 and in the Air I asked why a TV was not working and the stewardess just ignored and just walked away. She could of said sorry or something. Never came back to talk to us. I know they are busy but all through the flight she said or did nothing. Very disappointed with Jet Blue at this time

JetBlue Airways did not get banked dollars

May 18, 2018

I had to cancel a flight over a year ago due an injury and they banked the funds. I could not find the funds when I booked flights for 6 people this year, so I thought they would be available later. I have lost the banked funds because it is over year and I feel that is very unfair. I was not at all aware that they would be lost or that there was a time limit. The amount is approximately 150.00. I am very disappointed in JetBlue and I will not fly them in the future.

JetBlue Airways tv

This is my 3rd flight on Jetblue, which I always fly, that the tv was not working. The entire row was without a tv the entire flight. The flight attendant said it was working on the previous flight. Said he did not know what happened. However, after this 3rd flight without tv I am really complaining.
Flight 5/1/2018 # 1444 from PBI to Newark @ 5:25 PM ( which was delayed until 6:00PM. My seat was 14B and it was a full flight.
This time I am asking for some compensation for your lack of working equipment called the television.

JetBlue Airways Damages incurred during flight

Good day. This messsge is in regards to the issue on 4.20.2018. Jax to Jfk.
The area around my seat was not clean and had gum on the floor which resulted in my leather purse being damaged, as well as my shoes and pants. While the flight attendants were helpful in providing napkins and alcohol wipes during the flight, the situation was awful and grossed out everyone around me plus wrecked my personal property. I was told by the attendant I would have an email from jetblue immediately. She did not indicate the details of the communication. I contacted JB later Friday evening as I had not received the communication. I called today and was very frustrated at the rep nor her supervisor not knowing anything about the situation and as a knee jerk reaction credited my JB account $50 which isn't remotely close to the value of the damages. Thus far I had 2 people confirm to me 1 resolution path and when I called yet again and spoke to a supervisor she said it's not a fault of JetBlue and nothing would be done. Unbelievable.

JetBlue Airways miss-identification at check-in point/flight arrangement mismanagement

Dear Jet Blue Representative,

I bought my electronic ticket online on 12/29/2017 with itinerary Orlando (MCO) FL to Chisinau (KIV) Moldova, reservation RGF6CI. First flight with Jet Blue was scheduled on April 7, 2018 at 7:01 pm. I reached the Jet Blue check-in point at 5:25 pm. The clerk at the counter told me I have no International reservation since he sees only one flight (to Boston) and placed me on a 352 flight at 6:05 pm in order to catch my 2nd flight (Boston - Istanbul, Turkish airlines).

I passed security, came to the gate and boarded flight 352, however was taken from the plane, and sent to information desk. Here I found out I was checked-in under a wrong, similar name Sinsigalli/Eric at the baggage check-in point: apparently the clerk did not read my last and first name in the system. So my baggage (a bad and a wheel chair in a box) was gone to Boston, without me and I missed Boston-Istanbul flight.

At the information desk I asked to place me on the first available plane to Boston to catch my overnight flight to Istanbul to meet there my family. I spent 2+ hours of my own time at the Information desk waiting for a resolution. Since no available flights I was placed on a delayed JFK flight and I missed and JFK-Istanbul flight at 00:10 am, April 8.

At 3:30 am April 8 I came to Jet Blue Help desk, asking to place me on the first plane to Istanbul, since there were Jet Blue 2 errors (misidentification at the check-in point and placement on delayed flight) to loose transoceanic flight. Help desk told me there were no seats for Istanbul 12:30 pm flight, they were trying to arrange my flight through Frankfurt at 4:00 pm or Istanbul at 7:00 pm April 8. No clear response received from 3:30 am till 10:30 am, me being only continuously in front of the counters/clerks/supervisors: I spent 7+ hours of my own time at the Help desk waiting for a resolution, which never came out. At 10:30 am on April 8 I reached myself Turkish airlines, and they confirmed seats availability, contacted Jet Blue to confirm their errors and boarded me on 12:30 pm flight, so I arrived at 5:30 am on April 9 in Istanbul and at 9:15 am at my final destination - Chisinau, Moldova. My luggage was missing.

So, I had a delayed arrival - 1 day (arrived on April 9 instead of April 8); bags arrived on April 10 (2 days delay), and since no home delivery on April 10 I should have found a transportation to get from my parents city to Chisinau airport and retrieve my bags (2 days of my week vacation lost).

So considering all above I ask the company financial compensation for:
1. Misidentification at the check-in point and placement on wrong flight, with all above consequences
2. Mismanagement of flight arrangements (sending baggage to Boston, and passenger to JFK on delayed flight), missed International flight.
3. Slow decision taking at Information desk at MCO (more than 2 hrs of my own time lost)
4. About 3 hrs of my own time lost waiting help desk to open (from arrival at mid night till 3:30 am)
5. Slow decision taking at JFK Help Desk: long incertitude and long decision taking time - from 3:30 am till 10:30 am with no final decision in fact (7+ hrs of my own time lost)
6. Turkish airlines solved this problem in about 1 hr, accommodating me on their first flight to Istanbul.
Please, inform me about compensation for my lost time with Jet Blue and moral inconvenience of waiting 12+ hours Jet Blue clerks to resolve errors during check-in, during boarding wrong plane, for loosing international flight, delayed arrival (1 day), delayed luggage arrival (2 days), expenses to get luggage from KIV to my vacation city, lost vacation time.

Jet Blue staff errors at check-in point and flight arrangements at Information desk (MCO) and Help Desk (JFK) created 1 day arrival delay and 2 day baggage arrival delay to the destination shortening my vacation time.

JetBlue Airways check in

Last week I left from Orlando on flight 667 with my two children's and I was very disappointed when I did check in and nobody ever asked for my childrens birth certificate all I've been think about is anybody can take any kids with JetBlue with no questions asked and be okay as a mother it is very upsetting because it is scary to think that this is possible with this airline. This was my favorite airline to trouble but after this happened I don't think I will ever flight with them it is crazy how this employees are they obviously don't care for their passengers. What if my kids were kidnapped and somebody was trying to take them out of the country.

JetBlue Airways flight cancellation

My husband and I had a flight for April 17, 2018 to go from BTV to JFK to Phoenix AZ. Flight 233 in Burlington VT toJFK to Phoenix AZ 5:30 am to JFK 7:01am to Phoenix az. It was cancelled 8 hours before message stated flight cancelled. We were going to Az for my mother-Inlaw's memorial. My husband told the agent that she couldn't come up with a different flight. Till after the date of the memorial. I checked on jet blues site and saw there were tickets left on thurs out of BTV. Our trip was cancelled we don't get to go very upset about missing the memorial which is this sat. I know other people needed to get out first but I would of thought under the circumstances she would of given us that one. Guess not. Lost Customer

JetBlue Airways uncomfortable flight

To whom it may concern,
On March 30, 2018 myself and my wife flew on JetBlue Airlines, Flight 243 Aircraft 320 at 9:15am from JFK Airport to HAV Airport in Cuba. We were seated in 21C and 21D. The back of my chair was loose and unstable where it would move back and forth as I tried to get comfortable. The armrest cover was broken (see pictures). As i put my arm over the cushion on the arm rest each time the cover would fall off and my hand would hit the metal screws underneath.
Upon informing the flight attendant of all my issues she assured me that she would file a report. I asked for some duct tape so that I may secure the arm rest cushion temporarily and she answered me "Sorry we do not have any Duct Tape".
Due to the above stated facts this was a very inconvenient and uncomfortable flight for me. I would like to know what you are going to do about this issue and how I can be compensated for my flight. It would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you.

JetBlue Airways delay

First time flyer drove from Homestead to Fort Lauderdale, at Fort Lauderdale Airport with my husband since 6:50 to board a flight to Atlanta at 8:50 to go to his aunt's funeral tomorrow which got delayed until 9:50, to turn around and get delayed again until 11:50 doesn't make much since to me. You guy's have ruined the experience for me and I will not be flying this airline again.

JetBlue Airways poor customer service / flight leaving early

My husband missed flight this morning april 06, 2018 at 7:18 a. M. He was in the ts a-line for over an hour waiting for bag check
When he got to the gate tge lady told him that the plane had left the time was 7:03 a. M. When he got to the gate
My husband talk to the jet blue people and they told him he had to wait until 4:39 p. M. For the next flight I travel 2 hours to get him at the airport this morning do to him missing the flight because the plane left early I had to travel 2 hours back home now I have to 2 more hours back to pick him up at 6 o'clock this evening I do believe we should get some sort of compensation due to the fact that gas is 275 a gallon my husband had to pay $30 to get to the airport and has to pay $30 to go back to the house and now he will have to pay another $30 to get back to the airport when I call jetblue they told me they had no reason why the plane had left early. This is not the 1st time we had a problem with jet blue we had a problem back in january when the was a cancelation due to the weather. Please contact me at [protected]

JetBlue Airways multiple cancellations & delays, unexpected expenses

Dear Jet Blue:

I am writing to you in hopes of being reimbursed for unexpected expenses.
On 1/5/17, @ 6:00am we were planning to travel to Fort Myers, FL for our vacation.
Thursday, 1/4/17, a winter storm hit New England & Logan Airport, Boston, MA, therefore flights were back up and ours was canceled for Friday 1/5/18; (#465). I was on the phone for 45 minutes waiting to speak to a Jet Blue operator to reschedule. She was kind and got us seats for 1/6/17, Sat. @ 8:07am. The only seats available were in Extra Leg Room, therefor my Credit Card was charged $140.00. On the way to the airport, traveling by bus, I received a text "your flight (#1165) has been delayed until 1:30am". After going through TSA Security, & waiting several hours, I received another text "your flight has been delayed until 2:30am. I spoke with the woman at the Jet Blue desk. She assured me the flight was still leaving. Shortly after I received another text"your flight has been delayed until 3:10am. The JetBlue Representative at the desk assured me the flight would still leave and bring us to Fort Myers, she brought us out snacks & drinks. At Midnight on 1/6/17; She was sorry but our flight had been canceled. My husband & I had no way to get home at that hour. We spoke to a JetBlue Rep., she was out of hotel vouchers for that night. We rescheduled, there were no seats available going to Fort Myers the next day, Sunday, 1/7/18. She booked us on a flight to Washington/Reagan Airport at 9:00 am (#255), then transferring to a flight landing in Tampa, FL, then we would have to get ground transportation to Fort Myers, Florida later that night. We found a hotel downtown Boston, took a Taxi there and back the next morning. When we arrived for our flight to Washington, after going through TSA, I received a text "your flight to Washington as been delayed until 1:30pm". I did receive a meal voucher for $32.00 the prior evening from the JetBlue Rep. After arriving in Washington, we went straight to the gate for our connecting flight to Tampa (#549), only to find that flight was delayed until 5:00pm. I was very upset & worried we might be spending the night at the airport! I went to the JetBlue Help Desk, a very nice man looked into getting us to Fort Myers on any flight available. He found there were 2 seats left on a flight leaving at 2:23pm (#481), this was also delayed until 4:33pm arriving in Fort Myers at 7:15pm.
My husband and I lost three days of our vacation & incurred un expected expenses below.
1/5/18: $140.00 extra leg room seats. (never received)
1/6/18: $155.56 Omni Hotels & Resorts
1/6/18; $ 21.00 Jean Baptiste Cab (taxi to hotel)
1/7/18; $ 20.15 Nada Cab Inc. (taxi back to Logan) receipts enclosed.

I would really appreciate compensation for the unexpected $336.71 in expenses and three days lost of our vacation. We always travel on Jet Blue, have been customers for over 25 years. We travel back & forth to Fort Myers several times a year.

JetBlue Airways personnel

My daughter and son in law along with their 4 children were treated like dirt by your so called supervisor at the West Palm beach airport. After delays and flight changes totaling close to 8 hours the supervisor abruptly cancelled their rescheduled flight to tomorrow morning because of his own inadequacy.

This person should not be allowed to represent you at any level
Just know a simple apology will not suffice.
I along with anyone else I know will be informed about this rude treatment!

JetBlue Airways using website check in online

My name is Walter Carrasco, with confirmation WMNUCU.

Friday night January 26th, I checked in online for my flight # 1824, on Jan 27th Saturday night at 11:56pm, using your website, to Fort Lauderdale and San Francisco as final destination.

During this process online, I followed and completed every check mark as done.
I DID everything prescribed by the website, except the use of a printer. I didn't have one available. So I was going to have the counter member do it for me, as described.

I was at the counter at 11:04pm, 8 minutes behind your closing time.

I explained the attendant I checked in online, but didn't have a printer to get my boarding pass printed.
She didn't accept my explanation, but insisted, no boarding pass printed, no service.

Her solution was to put me on standby for the next day flight.
That solution was no solution for my discomfort and my pocket.
I followed everything, except I didn't have a boarding pass printed. My tough luck was not to have a printer.

My concern: I am on Standby status now,
Checking in online didn't work for me (the airport attendant insisted for a printed boarding pass)
Can anybody assure me that I will get to go home on the 28th or next day?
Can anybody assure me, I will not get squeezed in between two other seated passengers?

JetBlue Airways flight cancellation/airline change

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you regarding the problem I faced last week while travelling from Detroit to Dubai.

When I reached Detroit Metro Airport on Friday Jan 05 2018 (travelled from Windsor, ON by road), I was informed that Flight 1336 JetBlue is delayed and I will miss my connection flight at Boston Airport (Emirates 238) and I have to contact [protected] for rescheduling. After I called the Lady informed me that she will book me on Lufthansa on Jan 06 indirect Flight Via Frankfurt. I told her clearly that I want to stay on Emirates Airline due to quality and comfort (sure for price as well). she said that the next available flight with Emirates in on the 13 th of Jan. Accordingly I agreed to take the flight as I have to report to my office due to re-scheduled meetings which I can not miss. I informed her that I should be compensated for such change due to the difference in Rates, comfort & time saving.

To be sure that the booking is done I approached the counter again to get the confirmation print out. I noticed that passengers handing over their luggage's and getting boarding Passes. I asked and found out the my original Emirates Flight was rescheduled till 9 AM on the 6th of Jan. I was chocked and asked the staff to clarify why my flight was changed as long as my flight is postponed and not missed.

I called to number again and had long argument with your customer service/interline coordinator who confirmed that my seat is no more available on Emirates. I told her you need to get me on the same flight, but she kept saying that she can not do anything for me. I was very pissed off and I need a clear respond from you about this incident.

JetBlue Airways inability to fly me to san diego

I have always viewed you as a top tier airline, but I have been stuck in Fort Lauderdale for over 24 hours now and at this point I would take a beating from united airlines just to get home. I will only fly airlines with a large number of planes and flights per day from now on. I have a true blue number and points that I will most likely terminate after this experience.

JetBlue Airways flight miscommunication

It all started with JetBlue delaying its flight on the 17th of December 2016 from 4:15 to 6:50 pm from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale (flight number B61315). I had sent a complaint a year ago but no one responded to me so I am resending the same email I sent in 2016 but with some changes.

My husband, 11-month old son, and myself reached the airport at around 2pm December 17, 2016 and realized that the flight was delayed. We then stood in line to discuss how to move forward with the JetBlue agents.
After about an hour, the agent told me that that I would certainly miss my connecting flight (EK214) due to the delay and she would recommend rebooking me but they can't rebook international flights right there so she would call someone else to do it. She told me the wait could be upwards of 2 hours and to wait. We didn't hesitate and stood there holding my 11-month old son and waited about an hour and a half until she found who she was looking for on the line.

The person on the other line told her that they didn't have any Emirates flights until the 27th so they could rebook me on Turkish airlines in the 20th with JetBlue still being my first flight out of JAX. I didn't like waiting that long to leave as I am going home to see my father that is in the ICU due to contracting meningitis. In addition, I know Turkey is not the best place to be right now so I didn't want to take Turkish airways. However, I understood that there was nothing to be done and agreed.
She then gave me an e ticket with a new itinerary. She said that if I called the next day they could change it for me if any places opened up with any airlines that JetBlue is partnered with. We thanked her and left. Now I know that I couldn't have changed my ticket at all even if I had wanted to do she basically lied to my face.

So, on the 19th at about 10pm, I wanted to see If I could check in early and select seats so I went to JetBlue.com and put in my confirmation code with is JBMEER and my last name to "manage my flights" and my information wasn't there. I tired several times and still could not get it so I called JetBlue. The person that picked up the phone (Myleen I believe her name was) said that she can see my Turkish airways flights but cannot see the JAX to JFK flight (my first flight out of JAX). I told her I had an e ticket that shows me that flight plus the Turkish airways flights. She then continued searching and found the flight in my ticket but not itinerary if that even makes sense.

Apparently, on the 17th they had booked me for the Turkish flights but not the JAX to JFK flight. After 1 hour and 25 minutes of being on the phone she told me everything was good as her supervisor (Jennifer) had fixed everything (except my first name which when they rebooked my flights they had forgotten to put a space between Blen and Ms (Ms Blen Solomon) and now was Blenms) and sent me a new itinerary this time with the JAX to JFK flight in it. I thanked her and hang up. She did say call back in about 30 mins to check about the name situation as they were working on it. By this time, it was 12 am.

So I called back and when I did the agent this time was giving me a completely different itinerary (which I included me going to London Heathrow airport at some point) so I told him I already have an email with the itinerary and I was calling about the name. He said let me talk to my supervisor and connected me to her. As I was talking to her I got a phone call from Utah which I couldn't get because I was in line with her. She sees my previous flight info but it was changed beside of problems with my Turkish flight and so they had to rebook me yet another time and this time from JAX to JFK then to LHR the IST, then ADD. My flight would have to start at 11:40 am and not 5:50 pm that I was told when they rebooked it on the 17th and when I talked to Myleen a couple of hours prior. I couldn't take that flight because I have to be at work until 12pm.

As it turns out later when I checked my voicemail Jennifer said that JETBLUE accidentally deleted my connecting Turkish air flight and because of that had to rebook everything again!

I have never in my life heard of anyone's booked flight get ACCIDENTALLY DELETED!?

Needless to say I was really sad at this point but I was very politely asking the supervisor that I was talking with to please re-book me for the 20th back to my original itinerary and she says there are no flights in the 20 or the 21st and it would have to be on the 22nd. I have evidence of the chafed itineraries and the voicemail from Jennifer if you need evidence of this unprofessionalism. So now I am leaving tomorrow on the 22nd. My father is still sick and I am sitting here really sad and upset and praying that I get to see him soon (My father passed away on December 25, 2016 and I didn't even get to say goodbye as the flight landed on the 24th of December. By then, he was not conscious and couldn't recognize me or know I was there. This will forever haunt me!).

I am very disappointed in how JetBlue has time and time again failed me and dealt with my situation. I now believe the saying they "Truth is stranger than fiction" as I truly believe what has happened is quite unprofessional and just flat out bizarre.

JetBlue Airways lack of air conditioning on flight 1115 on 19 nov 17

On Nov 19, 2017 Jet Blue took off from Logan (BOS) at 2:43 pm and arrived at DWF Dallas around 6:11pm. Shortly after take off the plane developed problems with what seemed to be the air conditioning system. It became very hot and stuffy in the cabin. The cabin became unbearable after a couple of hours with no explanation as to what the problem was. About 45 minutes before landing, the stewardess finally brought bottled water around to the passengers after numerous complaints. I suffer from claustrophobia & was extremely uncomfortable. I was also having some difficulty breathing due to the stuffy environment. The stewardess insured us that we would be compensated & we should check our email in a week for the compensation. The week has come & gone and no word from Jet Blue. I called the customer service to no avail. They informed me that no report had been filed for the plane. This concerns me greatly, as the passengers on that flight can attest, there was definitely something wrong. When the plane started getting so hot, the pilot should have landed the plane, but didn't. The pilot should not have authorized to continue the flight. No air conditioning means that other things in the plane could be over heating. Too much risk. I feel that plane was unsafe to fly. I have flown many times and this was first flight that I felt unsafe in.

I also lost several pounds of lobster that I was traveling home with. I started with a cooler of frozen lobster, that was thawed by the time we landed. Once it thawed it spoiled & I had to throw it away.
