I purchased a Mobicel R6 gold handset on 30 July 2018 at Jet store in Chatsworth.

I had major issues with handset, namely the touch screen was faulty and the handset continued to switch off, in addition it was closing all apps and saying system and android not responding etc.I returned it to Jet Chatsworth on the 2 August 2018 and they replaced it.

The new handset as well had similar problems, closing apps, system and android not responding, switching off and not coming even if rebooted.
I went back to Jet Chatsworth on 27 August 2018 and they want to repair it again... Handset is only three weeks old and so much issues.

I am not at all happy with the handset as I mentioned above, I want to reiterate that I don't want the phone replaced nor repaired again..I have been inconvenienced and I have going back and forth to the Jet branch.

I request a full refund of R1199, 00 immediately.
Please treat this matter as an URGENT REQUEST!

I am having a similar issue with my Mobicel Vega at Jet Pavilion, seems this is a norm. In 3 weeks, my battery overheated and melted and swelled in my phone, I was refused a refund, phone repaired with an upgrade. Two months again my CPU is overheating, issues with major components again and I am so not happy. I am retrenched and am running up and down to solve these issues. I am going back to Jet Pavilion / mobicel to demand my refund as I refused to accept repairs on a clearly faulty phone. First time I have bought my mobicel, I will never buy this again ever. Only ten minutes on my phone im not using videos or watching a movie just simple apps and my cpu is overheating which is only happening recently, again another issue. The repairs claim that i will not be consulted about the repair cost, it will be performed without my knowledge. So this means i paid 1000 rands for the phone, paid for my screenguards two so far, petrol for running up and down and still pay for repair costs even thou im retrenched and this is clearly a horrible faulty phone? This is not fair and it is against our consumer rights. Never had so many issues with a phone before, i would rather buy a different reliable brand. If I do not get my refund when I am able to get to Pavilion Jet again for my refund, I will escalate this matter if I get no joy.
