Jerry Peluso review: stolen money 1

I responded to an online advertisment for a guitar for sale (Rickenbacker 350v63), I found the ad at Mygear.com (888-508-GEAR). I called the listed contact number [protected]). I spoke with Gerard Peluso, he said his name was Jerry, he was very friendly, he also said that I could trust him to ship the guitar out to me, he told me to google his name (Jerry Peluso), he said that he was a television producer, he also said he was a producer for a Beatles tribute band in Las Vegas Nevada (Fabforever)(fabforever.net). He suggested that I send him a Moneygram in the amount of $1420, the amount he wanted for the guitar, and he said that he would take care of the shipping cost with insurance. On 06-24-08, I went to the Augusta Maine Wal-mart, and I sent the Moneygram to Gerard Peluso in the amount of $1420, then I sent the reference number ([protected]) to Jerry in the form of a text message, about an hour later Jerry sent me a text message back saying he got the money, and thanks! I contacted the Moneygram fraud department, and this is a quoted section of their reply, "We continually work to stop fraud of any kind and thank you for bringing
this to our attention. Reference number [protected] has been received, and a refund is not available. The transaction was paid in Las Vegas, Nevada on 6/24/2008". Jerry also told me that he found a box to ship the guitar in and that he would ship out the guitar the next morning. The next day, Jerry told me that the guitar had been sent out USPS (United States Postal Service) and then I asked him for the tracking number, but he never responded, I continued to repeatedly text his cell phone [protected]) asking him for the tracking number. He ended up sending me a fake tracking number, I know that it was fake because I called USPS, and they told me the number wasn't long enough to be a tracking number, a couple of days later Jerry called me and told me that he made up the number because he forgot to get a reciept when he shipped the guitar out, at that point I realized that something wasn't right with this deal, and began researching Jerry Peluso on the internet to find out more information about him, just in case the guitar never showed up. After about 15 days went by, I got in touch with Special Agent Alan Thompson for the USPS [protected]), he got me in touch with a guy named Chris, that works for him [protected]), Chris began looking for the guitar, but said that without the tracking number there was not too much he could do to help. Jerry told me that he insured the guitar for $3200 dollars, and daily he told me that he would file on the claim, but never did. On 07-19-08 Jerry told me that a police officer friend of his found the guitar at a local pawn shop in Las Vegas. He said that the guitar had been stolen from the UPS store, before it even got shipped out, and he said that he talked to the guy that stole the guitar, and said that the thief was going to get the guitar out of pawn and give the guitar back to avoid prosecution. At one point Jerry told me on the phone that his friend Michael, the manager of the UPS store at 2505 Anthem Village Drive, Henderson Nevada 89052, was the guy that sent out the guitar for him. I called the UPS store [protected]) and spoke with Michael, he said that he knew Jerry Peluso because Jerry has a post office box there, and that Jerry comes in daily to get his mail. Michael also said that he knew nothing about the guitar, and that he would ask Jerry about it next time he came in to get his mail. On 07-29-08 Jerry's cell phone had been disconnected with Verizon wireless, [protected]), so I began calling his other phone number [protected]) and found out that the only time I could reach him was between 8:30am and 9:30am Pacific time and between 11:30am and 12:30pm Eastern time. Jerry began telling me that he would refund my money, sending it through Western Union to the Hannaford store in Gardiner, Maine. Then he said that it would have to be tomorow, and he would continue saying that everyday, then he would disappear for a while, then he would come back and say it again. Anyway, everything that Jerry has told me so far has been a lie! To this day I have not seen anything, no guitar, no money, nothing but more promises to pay and more lies. (Jerry), Gerard Peluso stole my $1420 using the internet and lies to hide behind, he won't return my money and I've tried being nice, this guy is definitly not someone who can be trusted. He pretends to be a nice guy, but now I know that's just so he can swindle people out of their money, in this case it was $1420 plus the cost of the Moneygram $75.
