Worst service and most shady company I have ever dealt with. They took our money immediately and never did deliver all of the pieces of the couch that we purchased from them. The piece they did deliver was damaged and they tried to hide it by placing the damage against a wall. We tried for weeks to get the other piece of the couch and to get the first piece repaired by them. They never called us back, never fixed the damage, never delivered the rest of the couch. They would not give an address to the warehouse for me to get it myself, would not give me phone numbers to them, would not give me email contact, and the "corporate" number never gets answered. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! The sales people lied and said that there is only a 10% restock, the fine print says 30% plus any delivery fees. If you buy from them you may as well kiss your money goodbye. If you do happen to get your product, enjoy the garbage workmanship. The piece that did make it to our house was crap compared to the stuff in the showroom.

    So glad I did my homework on this one!!! I have already bought the bait and switch tactic on other furniture!! Bought locally and they knew I had NO furniture because of a house fire!!!

    Can anyone give me good funrniture + customer service???

    In June 2010 I purchased a recliner sofa from Jennifer Convertibles. In December 2010 the reclining mechanism broke. I called the company, since the sofa was still under warranty. They sent someone out, and the man said I needed a new part for the couch. On February 4, I received a letter that my part will be delivered in 4 - 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I called and they told me it was actually 10 -12 weeks. After 12 weeks I called and they told me the part was on order. After 13 weeks I called and they told me that the part was unavailable and I will get a new couch in exchange. When they called me to schedule delivery, in June 2010, I told them that I am never available in the evenings and that I need a delivery before 4 PM. They told me they can't guarantee it, but that they would make note of it. When I received the call for the delivery time, it was 3 - 8 PM. I told them I am never available at that time. The woman told me that she would see what she can do and call me back. No one ever called me back and I have no idea if they attempted to deliver the couch. Two days later someone called me to schedule the couch. I again explained my situation and that at this point I want my money back. They told me I needed to speak to the district manager. I called 5 times and did not receive a call back. I was then told to call the Vice President. I left 3 messages, when I finally got a call from the district manager. She told me I needed to be more flexible with them! I went to the Better Business Bureau and got no where. Jennifer Furniture insists that they are trying to deliver the couch and I am being unreasonable. I have been sitting on a broken couch for 6 months and am available for an 8 hour delivery window, but I am being unreasonable. At this point, I would rather eat the $1, 000 I spent on the couch instead of dealing with this company anymore. This just goes to show you get what you pay for, the worst customer service ever!
