Jennifer Convertable Inc. / Delay in receiving replacement of defective Swivel chair!
I purchased a Swivel Chair which turned out to have a defective Base. I contacted Jennifer customer services on approximately February 11 or 12th, 2009 to have them send one of their technicians to repair it. One came approximately one week later and explained the base was stripped and could not be repaired and had to be replaced. After waiting for the appointment I'm told I have to wait ten more days for it to be repaired or replaced. This is unfair I paid them 1200.00 dollars for this furniture in cash. I feel my situation should be expedited since this is the second time a technician was requested. The chair is defective and I want a new one under your supposedly worry free warranty. Well I'm very worried after having to keep calling tecnicians and waiting for them to report their findings whenever they want and then having to wait again for the new chair that I am entitled to unless it is their customer services policy to ignore legitimately disatisfied customers. This is one of many situations where Jennifer is not living up to their advertised worry free warranty it is not so.
