Jenco Canada elf lights

I purchased some Christmas lights last year. At the time I noticed that there was no remote. I called and spoke to the lady I purchased them from. She tried to get me a remote, or so I thought. She said I could return them if she was not successful. She is no longer there this year, and I was told, , ( sorry, nothing we can do about it!)
Bunch of crap. These lights were expensive. And to get them without a remote is not right.
This company doesn't care at all.

Jenco Canada Poor quality led bulbs

I used to purchase bulbs from them initially from the Brampton location. I had to bring down over 200 plus Gu10 bulbs from the condo apartment project I was assigned. I paid premium price and was served with absolute trash.
Last year my friend had some super thin led panels installed in his house, and was told that he purchased them from Jenco Oakville. I purchased them from their woodbridge location and they seem fine for a year.
But the losses I incurred left a bad taste. Another friend of mine went through bad experiences. I noticed they have some new energy star products, but the owner Jeff's lame excuse of the batch being bad and the same excuse of the following batch being better than the previous one has got me wonderstruck. As to how such a highly reputed company gets away with selling cheap trash.

Jenco Canada Led Cabinet lights

My contractor suggested to buy Jenco lights for under our kitchen cabinets. My wife brought their 3 pack lights -total 12 lights. Within 2 months we started having issues, some diodes would not light up, they would flicker. after sometime the other tiny diodes would not light up and next day all would light back. this went on for some time. Within 3 months most lights had burnt out.

Will never recommend anyone to buy such cheap quality products. Better to pay few bucks more and use branded products. We replaced with Liteline lights, huge difference in terms of appearance, light and quality.

Jenco Canada Poor quality led bulbs and lights with fake certification

I recently purchased GU10 cob bulbs, nearly 40 of them. Within few weeks some started flickering and in a month they started to burn. I took them back to the store, the lady was kind enough to give immediate replacements as she remembered she had only recently sold them to us. We replaced the burnt bulbs, but in 2 weeks other side of bulbs started flickering, some would blow so bright and then start fading. I called a licensed electrician to check if there was a fault in any wiring or fixtures.

He thoroughly examined and said there was absolutely no problem with them, it was the bulbs. He also mentioned that the energy star logo on their bulb was fake as bulbs beyond 5000k do not even come under energy star category.These bulbs had a colour temperature of 6000-7000k on them.

I was so furious that i just removed all of them and replaced ones from Costco for half the price and genuine energy star product.

Guys please be warned of such fake logos, they claim to be a super store, lets see how long they survive fooling public and the government. Wonder how authorities don't do anything about this.

Quite a few of my friends too have lots of complaints about their bulbs and under cabinet lights. They look cheap with third rated packaging and don't even last a couple weeks let alone the 50, 000 hrs. they claim on their sub standard packaging boxes.

Jenco Canada Led cabinet lights

My contractor installed under cabinet lights and over the cabinets beginning of this year. I specifically asked him not to use poor quality products as the cabinets were very expensive. He assured Jenco was a reputed Led lighting company and gave warranty on their products.

I cannot tell you guys how the lights and transformer started to smell as if my house was burning. This happened within 2 months of putting them on. Luckily my older son was home, he ran down to see whether something was burning. He actually saw sparks coming from the transformer.

Worst experience with Jenco lights.

Jenco Canada Led Gu10 bulbs

I purchased Jenco Gu10 Cob bulbs 2 months back. Very poor quality and performance. I was told they are compatible with all Led dimmers, but after trying nearly 5 different kinds, I got frustrated and called their main Brampton location.

When I went there I was given a dimmer to try. Whoa it really worked, but they were low voltage dimmers. My bulbs are line voltage but to my disbelief they were compatible with low voltage dimmers.

And now the have started to burn out already. Some lights have stated dimming and some just stopped working.

I don't want to deal with them anymore, I will replace them with Philips or some better quality bulbs with brand name.

Fully agree with you. I had equally disastrous experience with my under cabinet lights. i have decided to reach out as many people and warn them about these cheap chinese trash products.

Same with me. Doesn't matter which location the bulbs come from same source. Totally sub standard quality and cheap Chinese trash. Surprising how such a big company like them sell cheap and unsafe products.

Jenco Canada Led Light Bulbs

I started dealing with this company last year. They have some very good selection of products but their bulbs are absolute garbage. After just 3 months of purchase they started blowing out. We were told LED bulb last long, but following that in 6 month almost all of the bulbs blew out.

We went to store as they were covered under 2 years warranty, got the bulbs replaced and were told by the owner quality of bulbs has improved and the previous bulbs were from bad batch.

The only difference this time was the first bulb blew in less than one month and now we have more than half room without lights.

This is so frustrating as we go to a reputed company, pay more than cheaper bulbs thinking they are better quality, but are the same cheap Chinese junk.

After this experience I would never deal with them again. A friend of mine had similar experience and each time they have the same reason as its manufacturing defect or bad batch or boxes are thrown while shipping, so some lights get damaged.

A reputed company in Led business for nearly 5 yrs carrying garbage light bulbs is just ridiculous and unacceptable.

Fully agree with you. Their bulbs and strip lights are garbage. All other products very good and a good store overall.

I'm with same club, these people differently doing something wrong and thy are speaking same wording to every single client and every one has same issue and thy give their 100% to not to exchange something you bought from them, and if you will pay close attention to their google reviews, all 5 stars are from same kind of people, BIG NO TO THESE RECEIVERS

These bulbs have no standards or quality. Wonder how they pass inspection and safety standards. When they blow they burn the casing and the diodes. You can actually smell the burning in the room. I removed all my lights after 2 of them burnt and replaced them with Phillips bulb. No problem last year and a half. Responsible people should spread the word around. Surprising how such a big store with other branches in the city get away by selling garbage to the public. And even more surprising how inspectors are passing these bulbs.
