JCG CREDIT IS A COMPANY LOCATED IN BRIGHT CHAMBERS BUILDING, 108 MIDDLE ROAD, BESIDE ILUMA SHOPPING CENTER AND OPPOSITE OF BUGIS JUNCTION. THEY SAID THAT THEY ARE A BROKERAGE AND INVESTMENT FIRM, BUT WHAT IS WRITTEN OUTSIDE THEIR DOOR IS “JCG CREDIT HOUSE PLE LTD, TRADE AND WINE SPECIALIST” FROM THE OUTSIDE, YOU WILL WONDER, WHAT THE?!
THEN YOU WILL BE INTERVIEWED BY THEIR WHAT YOU CALL, “HR/ADMIN WANNABEE”, TAKE NOTE: SHE IS THE ONLY ONE HAVING A VALID EMPLOYMENT PASS IN THE COMPANY, THE OTHER EMPLOYEES ARE JUST HAVING THEIR SOCIAL VISIT PASSES.
HER NAME IS MAY, SHE WILL TELL YOU THE BREAKDOWN OF THE SALARY, BASIC OF SGD850 + COMMISSION. IF YOU HIT YOUR QUOTA YOUR BASIC WILL BE SGD1500 + COMMISSION. SOUNDS INTERESTING RIGHT? NOW AFTER YOU SAY THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED, SHE WILL INFORM YOU ALSO THAT THERE IS AN APPLICATION FEE FOR E-PASS FOR TANTANANANTANAN! SGD1500! BY THE WAY, IT CAN BE BREAKDOWN BY 2, YOU CAN ONLY DOWN FOR SGD750, AND IF YOU STILL CANT MAKE IT, SGD400 WILL DO. SHE WILL SAY THAT THE COMPANY HAS A “PRIVATE AGENCY” . THEN THE POOR APPLICANT WILL HAND HER MONEY AND THE ARROGANT HR WILL ASK IF SHE CAN ALREADY START THE TRAINING.
THEN AFTER HAVING TRAINING, THE ARROGANT HR WILL TELL YOU THAT SHE ALREADY APPLIED YOU FOR AN EMPLOYMENT PASS, THEN THE POOR EMPLOYEE WILL SEARCH THE APPLICATION ONLINE, AND TO EVERYONE’S DISMAY, THE REFERENCE NUMBER SAYS :NO RECORD FOUND! OHH! WHAT HAPPEN? AFTER SEVERAL HOURS, THE ARROGANT HR WILL TEXT THE POOR EMPLOYEE HER FIN, IT’S LIKE AN IDENTITY NUMBER. FOR HER EXCITEMENT, SHE LOGGED IN AGAIN ONLINE AND CHECK FOR THE STATUS, SURPRISINGLY, AFTER 3 HOURS OF NO RECORDS FOUND, SHE FOUND IT “REJECTED”.
SO WHAT NOW, GOODBYE SGD400! IT WILL BE ON THE COMPANY’S POCKET ALREADY. IT’S FOR THEIR SUPPLY OF MILO, COFFEE AND TEA.
SO HERE’S WHAT, THEY EMPLOY FOREIGN WORKERS AND THEY APPLY FOR PASS (NORMALLY PASS APPLICATION SHOULD ONLY AT SGD20), AND IF IT’S REJECTED, THEY WILL STILL PAY YOU FOR SGD35/DAY FOR 8 HRS WORK. SO LOW SALARY FOR EMPLOYEES AND LOW BUDGET FOR THE SALARY OF THERE EMPLOYEES.
IT IS FORESEEN BY THE COMPANY THAT ONCE THEY APPLY FOR AN EMPLOYMENT PASS, IT WILL BE REJECTED BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE QUOTA ANYMORE FOR FOREIGN WORKERS, SO THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND APPLY YOU FOR NOTHING!
SO FOREIGN WORKERS, BE AWARE! SPECIFICALLY FILIPINO JOB HUNTERS, THEY WILL GET YOUR MONEY, LET YOU WORK FOR THEM FOR LOW AMOUNT OF SALARY, AND THEY WILL INSIST YOU TO EXIT WHENEVER YOU ARE GOING NEARER YOUR SOCIAL VISIT PASS.

i agree! they get money from us. i paid sgd750 last monday, one of my family member died in India so i need to come back home, i asked if i could refund my money since i gave the money in the morning and in the afternoon the bad news came to me. but they didnt allow any refund. scammers!
hey joan, sorry but it's my opinion not yours. i just stayed there for 2 days after training and i didnt even got any pay from them. waste of time.. are you working there? why do you overreact?
and also, it is unlawful to work without any valid pass, that's why i left the company for 2 days stay because i don't have any pass!

Totally scammers...I am a victim also...I paid for $750 and worked over a month and I only received $100 as a partial salary.

good thing as well is even if your in the Philippines, India, or what country they still process an appeal for you. Meaning they really wanna help you. But as we all know Epass is really hard to get now. Unlike last yr until January 2012 approval of Epass is good. so, just an advice... BEFORE YOU AGREE TO SOMETHING BE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE SITUATION AND UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING!
yeah Ariel is right. i also worked in that company before. its like you also got your money since you are working while waiting for the pass. we all know for a fact that pass in Singapore is really hard to get. And some agency here ask you also to pay for a large amount of money then they will do nothing and you will not earn something as well. just be grateful for what you have and got. Me, one of the agency here took 2500 without me having a FIN..da%$ it! so just be grateful because its just 400 and also your earning while waiting for the pass. for other agencies here they will get your money and wait for such a long time (eating, going out, no work) and then pass rejected. while this company that you guys are referring to, you are paid per hour and mind it.. it is an easy job.. NO PRESSURE at all! the company is paying you for just drinking milo, coffee, tea, chit chat, calling, eating. SO are there any pressures at all? the pass is really hard right now especially epass. we are matured enough to understand everything! BEFORE YOU AGREE TO ANYTHING YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE IT!
LOL. you guys think you got the worst of it. i know more companies who overcharge, over taut, lie to the foreigners like us about applying it but don't do anything about it at all. at least this company did try to apply for you and you managed to get a FIN no. AND get paid at the same time while you wait for it, SO YOU DIDN'T LOSE ANY MONEY. plus, $35/day for 8 hours work? i know SINGAPOREANS in the 4 years i've worked here who earn $20/day for a 14-hour shift. my friends got scammed $2500 to $4000 by companies that did not even try to fill in ANY damned paperwork. BE BLESSED for what you got.
I am a victim too of this JCG credit house, I paid 750 and since I only have a few more days to stay in SG I decided to exit here in the Phils., but until now my pass have been rejected and my SGD 750 just disappear...
To all foreign workers hu interviewed and made payments to JCG Credit Hse. You guys can report this matter to M.O.M straightaway if the co do not want to refunf the monies. The authorities will question the company and get them to refund the money before the company closed down.
