JC Penney an employee

Today while shopping in your 34th st location in New York, I was interrupted as I walked close to a register in the section with scarves, I was told she's closed. I let the girl know I was not finished shopping, and that's where it took a turn for the worse. I walked away and overheard the employee and an off duty employee tell each other and I quote verbatim "we should have made that white [censor] wait here". I was appalled. I went back and asked for their names and they refused to give them to me. I've never felt more disrespected somewhere that I am spending my money. I will never walk in that store again and the company should be embarrassed to have such employees working there. Had the situation been opposite a simple email wouldn't be the end of thos.

JC Penney az money grey size: 9.5

I visited the East Point location in Baltimore, MD on Sep 22 2017. The shoe I was interested in purchasing was a display shoe & no others were in the back per CSR Wendy. I asked if I cld get a percentage off b/c of the dirt/scratches on the bottom & around the shoe. Wendy stated 10%, which would've been $1.99. I asked if more of a percent could be taken off b/c of the damage and Wendy proceeded to have CSR, Natasha take over the transaction. Natasha stated 10% was appropriate b/c there was no damage to the top of the shoe.

I declined a 10% discount and over heard Natasha state to Wendy to mark the shoes as damaged inventory. Natasha's lack of quality customer care and honesty was inappropriate. Natasha provided a fraudulent reasoning for not providing more of a discount when the shoes were visually damaged; she stated so herself, hence them being placed as damaged merchandise.

I've been a customer of JCPenny since childhood and its disheartening to me that a CSR who is to represent the integrity of your organization has falsified and let a customer walk w/o accommodating a simple boost in a percentage off. I ask that both Wendy and Natasha be retrained on Quality Customer Care, Marketing, Price Inflation, Honesty & Integrity, and Appreciation for loyal customers.

I would like for a Representative in Leadership to ensure that the staff are aware of quality customer care and satisfaction.

JC Penney hot store

I love this flower mound store: however, I always to leave quick as the store is ridiculously HOT. I have money to spend but I won’t shop if I am sweating why trying on clothes because you want to say money making us all burn up. Even the employees are sweating. I spoke with Ashley the manager and she said there isn’t anything they can do.

For the record this must be costing you sells as other customers were also complaining.

JC Penney missing credit for returned item

I ordered six LG appliances which arrived 09/05/17. i didn't accept the OTR microwave bc i found it elsewhere cheaper. so the delivery guys made a note of the return on the bill of lading and in their LG systems but I never got the credit on my statement. i'm currently going through major hoops to resolve this and the poorly educated or inefficient customer service people always refer me elsewhere, passing the buck. i had to wait for hours on end holding on the terrible phone system they have. it's utterly ridiculous how long-3 hours on one occasion- customers have to wait. at this point i was so pissed i ended up speaking to corporate. but the ghetto-est "corporate" rep named lindsey gets on the phone and i can tell he's going to be stupid and rude from the beginning. he doesn't sound professional at all. I'm explaining the problem and he doesn't apologize for my inconvenience, then says something unrelated to my problem that clearly means he's not listening to what i'm saying. then he says "uh huh go' head i'm listening, just talking to my co worker about somethin' ". Does the company not monitor these calls?! how do they hire people like this? are they paying them anything over minimum wage because this guy sounded like he was hired off the street after a 5 minute interview. To top it off, this idiot sounded like he came straight out the hood. How on earth did they hire his uneducated self? I was raised inner city, so I know his type but education goes a long way to learning how to speak to customers. I have worked with the public for over 30 years and never had a complaint because I treat people they way i want to be treated. but HE had the nerve to accuse me of placing my order in store when i actually placed it online. he actually argued with me over that because he said" it shows right here you placed the order in store". then when i was explaining why that was impossible, since i KNOW where i was when i placed the order, he hung up on me! and this was after 25 minutes of me waiting to speak with a corporate rep. but that's ok because LINDSEY doesn't understand that my mission in life will be to speak to his superiors and complain not once but many times over to corporate in any way possible until they become aware of how he treated me and apparently how inefficient he is at his job that he couldn't take a simple complaint and note the records so that i can get my situation resolved. he didn't even have to do anything else but take down the complaint. now the complaint will be about HIM. I was also promised a 5% extra credit for new customers which i didn't get and no one knows anything about that now but i have the name of the rep and ticket number for the transaction that he placed and notes on my record which everyone sees but claim they can't do antyhing about . he apparently issued a non-invoice credit, what the heck does that mean? i need my credit on my card! i will make a major fuss over my issues, jc penny doesn't even understand that customers count for something. if they understood this they would not hire inefficient epople like Lindsey to answer calls at CORPORATE OF ALL THINGS!

I feel your pain. They charged my credit card $1400 and cancelled my order when the delivery people were five minutes from house. They even called the delivery people liars. They are horrible, horrible people. I hope they all get fired.

JC Penney apply for credit card @ checkout

So sad that I shopped at jc penney for levies jeans.. At check out they offered me 50% off my bill, if I applied for a jc penny credit card I was honest I said I had bad credit cashier (It will not harm my credit score) sure it was a hard inquiry on my record 2 years! Thanks why would I think a cashier would know about credit cards and credit scores... They do not know thats why they are a cashier... My bad so sad that this [censor] happens... JC Penney refund

I’m very upset with JC Penny... I ordered a dress online and spoke to CSR about picking up at store but she informed me that that wasn’t an option so I said ok just leave order as is..being shipped to my address! The CSR orders dress agaiin putting a DOUBLE charge on my debit card which screwed me up big time, she did cancel the order but it was still showing “pending” withdrawal and what I’m not understanding is how and why my payment for correct order clears before my refund is refunded into my bank account when transactions were done like 5 minutes apart! I’m highly disappointed with the CSR the double ordered that dress 😡😡😡

JC Penney online ordering

Good Morning,

I would like to start off by saying I am a strong JCPenny's customer. I buy almost everything there. So I thought buying a new mattress would go smoothly and I would have no issues...I recently purchased a washer and dryer form their website and it went great! However, about 3 1/2 weeks ago I decided I wanted a new mattress. So I went into the store and was able to have an associate help me! Everything went great until we printed out the receipt. The system switched the billing and shipping address and didn't change any phones number to mine...so on the receipt it looked like my mother was getting a new mattress in stead of me. So the associate called customer service right away and was put on hold for 45 minutes! Plus the customer service representative gave us the run around and put us on hold again to transfer us to another representative who told us call back within 3 business days. So I waited and called back...put on hold for another 30 minutes. By this point I'm very aggravated. So I explain the situation and asked to switch the addresses and phone numbers...but wait I have to wait another 3 days for the order to process with the distribution center. So I waited and called back in the three days. The representative answered the phone, gave him the story, he "switched" the information for me and updated the phone numbers to mine. Promised me he took care of the mishap. So then the next week my mother gets a call saying the mattress will be delivered to her house. So I call the number they gave my mom to call, I told the representative that the information was incorrect, so she asked me for the correct address and phone number. So then I get a voicemail a couple days later saying my mattress will be arriving at my apartment on a certain date and time. Finally! ohhh but wait, the day my mattress was supposed to arrive, which it did...the delivery guy had to call me about which apartment I lived in...seriously I gave my address and apartment number to the rep 3 times! So I finally have my mattress after 3 weeks of the run around. JCPenny's Customer Service for online purchases needs a reboot. No one could help me. And instead of saying "sorry I cant help you, let me see if I can find someone who can" they lied and said they could and did nothing anyways.

JC Penney was promised a rebate I never received

I purchased a whole set of 4 samsung appliances that was delivered on July 8, 2017. I had seen the ad online that said it had a rebate if you purchased 2 or more. After I went through the trouble of submitting my copy of the receipt, the model and serial numbers, the delivery ticket, the rebate form given to me by the saleslady at JC Penney, I never received the rebate. I sent the rebate on July 11, 2017 and as of today I have not received anything from them. I am very upset because I spent $2, 355 to purchase the 4 samsung appliances which was more than I could afford thinking that I was going to get a $300 Visa prepaid card which was promised at time of purchase.

JC Penney jc penny credit department

Paid my card in full on Friday sept 15 because we were going shopping that weekend. On card payment site on Sunday the 17th it showed payment was processed even though I was 4 days late on payment. The service at the grand island ne store was awesome and understood I showed them the online account and they verified it had available credit and payment was processed but you would still not make my card active at this time I had been in line more then 20 min was very embarrassing my wife was telling me to just leave and close account. I rarely say anything but this was very upsetting. It looks like we will be NOT shopping at JC Penny's anymore. I am a business owner, run my own electric company and have a very large extended family that will all know the very negative and embarrassing experience.

JC Penney jcpenny optical - order is not ready for 2 months

I have Submitted any order to change glass for my kids as his prescription has been changed but last 2 month there is no update on my order.

I went store multiple times but no updates
I call multiple time but they are keeping my phone on hold for 1 hours.

I am frustrated and my kid not wearing glass for last 2 months which harmful for his eye and he is facing problem in school. Please do the needful

JC Penney coupons

Hello, I am new to JCPennys and have not had a good experience with the coupons that have been supplied to me, either on-line or in the mail.
I have placed several orders and even with customer service they too could not get the coupons to work.
So, I am not complaiing about the customer service but about the inability to use the discounts. I am confused if they are given to me to use toward purchases why can't they be ulitized?

Disapointed being a new customer. If you have any information to help me toward using the discounts, greatly appreciated.

JC Penney ordering and sending to store for pickup and returning an online sale

I ordered item #[protected] and I believe the girl said it shipped to the store on the 8th. It's now the 15th and I received no notification. I was at the store that day returning shoes and did not get my shipping fee money back. 8.85$. I returned them to you so I should charge you a shipping fee. I inquired about my order and was told no they're not there. The next day I get an email that a shirt I ordered was there. I picked that up. But was not given any shoes or told. It's been 2 weeks. Previously I also ordered a little girl jacket and it was to be shipped to the store. Oh it went to a store but not my store. I live in NC it was shipped to Texas. They were very nice at the store and shipped it to my house. I don't know what's going on JCPenney but your failing miserably. I need these shoes for work. If someone returns an item include the shipping. I work too hard for my money. Your going to lose customers.

JC Penney in store pick up

I ordered a mattress protector online approximately two weeks ago and had it shipped to the store. I got to the store and the girl and her manager could not find my order in the back. She refunded my card and asked me to go to the bedding department to see if it was in stock. I did that, just to find out that it wasn't in stock so I spoke to the manager Teresa who agreed to order it online for me. She never asked me to verify my address and now my order is shipping to the wrong house since I moved from Pittsburgh to Austin. She said I could call and have it changed which was inaccurate as the girl on the phone said it was too late and it's already in process. I am so mad that I wasted my time and gas for my car to drive out to this location and nobody has a clue what's going on! My original order number was [protected]. JC Penney customer service

last week I went for shopping in penny, I selected cloths I wanted to buy and waited for the customer service to help me to pay it. there was no one at the cloth service station so the very nice old gentleman in the jewelry section tried to help me, I also had a coupon for 20% off . I realized that I forgot my wallet at home. so I left my stuff on the jewelry counter and the guy put my coupon inside the jewelry section, he was like you guys can come back and I will help you . I went back home and got my wallet . my stuff was there but the old gentleman who was helping me wasn't there, I needed my coupon so I tried to reach out to the other lady I saw in the cloth section, I tried to explain her that I need my coupon and I need these cloths . she came and tried to open the little door in the jewelry section and she said oh I cant open it, I asked her is there somebody who can help me, she is like there is no one.
I went to the makeup section and asked that girl if I can get anybody in the jewelry section since my coupon is there, she announced on the phone, I waited again nobody came, I went again to the girl in the makeup section and explained her that I need my coupon, she same and opened the door and handed me my coupon.
I went to the lady in the cloth section, and told her we got the coupon and ready to pay for it, she is like coupon is 20% and I need your jc penny card which I didn't have at that time . so I said ok I have 15 %, could you please use this, and she was like I cant it says coupon has been used already, so I cant use the 15%. almost 45 mins to but cloths and to pay for it, I asked that lady if I can have a manager or supervisor who can help, she said there is no one who can help me, no supervisor no manager . are you serious there is no one who can help me ...I took my cloths and took them to 2nd floor and paid there, used coupon as well . I told the lady Nancy who helped us with the payment that I want to talk to the supervisor, she called the supervisor. I talked to him told him what happened, and tol d him that I am going to complain, he was like ok..

JC Penney salon

I called the salon at 12:05pm on Sunday September 10th and asked them how much they would charge to wash & blow dry a 9 year olds hair. She asked me how much hair she has & I told her she has a lot. She told me $20 okay that's fine I'm on my way. I get there she looks at my daughter's hair while standing behind the desk with her face scrunched up and says well I know I quoted you $20 on the phone but it's going to be more. I asked her how much more she looks at a paper and tells me $75 I kindly said no thank you and walked away😡 so now that you seen that it was an African American child you want to up the price? Black salons don't even charge that much! I felt so embarrassed I will never step foot in that JcPenny's ever again.

JC Penney st john's bay three quarter sleeve essen tee

I've purchased these tee shirts for several years. I have one that is several years old in a size large that fits beautifully. The product changed over the years and had to purchase an extra large which completely changed the look of the shirt. This year I purchased two extra large shirts. The product has changed again. The vneck is abbreviated and as a result the look is disproportionate. I won't be wearing this year's version. As I noted earlier I still have a shirt I bought in a size large in 2010 that fits beautifully. I wonder if you could reevaluate for next year's production.

JC Penney hair salon vancouver mall, wa.

(09/09/17) I stood at the counter waiting to be helped when a hair stylist arrived with 2 elderly customers to ring up their service. I wasn't acknowledged at all. A few minutes later another hair stylist arrived at the counter and stood directly across from me signing on to the computer. She too didn't acknowledge me let alone make eye contact. She in turn went to help her co-worker and the 2 elderly customers who were together and according to their conversation would be one transaction. After more than 7 minutes of being ignored, I stormed out. They lost my loyalty and business.

JC Penney salon at jcp valley view roanoke va

I had a hair appointment at this salon for 2:00 pm with gwendolyn dejesus for a foil treatment and styling.. I arrived at 1:50. The girl at the desk told me she would let gwen know I was there. Gwen came out and assured me the nail job she was doing would be finished in 10-15 minutes tops. That was fine and I sat down to wait, and wait and wait and wait... It was 2:30 pm before she finally showed up. I told her I didn't appreciate the long wait and if I were respectful enough to come on time that was the least she could do was be on time. I asked her if she had overbooked but I suspect she took a walk in for nails not caring if her next appt. Would have to wait. Instead of apologizing or even acting like she was sorry she told me she didn't care to do my hair and would reschedule me with someone else. She's got more nerves than brains... How dare she assume that it was her right to do that without even asking me if that was what I wanted. If she had even acted a little bit sorry for the wait I would have gotten past it but she acted like I had done something to her. I will never set foot in that salon after this experience with someone who isn't even polite to customers. I have to say the lady at the desk was very nice and did apologize for gwen's impertinence and seemed embarrassed by the whole thing... Frankly if gwen were working for me she would be fired immediately. I allowed myself a few days to cool off before I decided to do this but the longer I tried to be nice the unhappier I got so that's that. It makes no difference to me what you do, I may not even shop in your store anymore at least till I stop being angry...

Today September 8th 2017, I visted the Sephora at Southland Mall around 2pm to purchase Rihanna's "Fenty" foundation. Since the moment I walked into Sephora I was not once greeted or asked if I needed help any time during my shopping experince and being the only African American woman in the store I felt very excluded and invisble to the associates. However it was more than enough associates to help everyone (all 6 people) in the store except me yet there were 7-8 associates working the floor. I shouldn't have had to walk up to a associate and ask for help when everyone else got a greeting and services. I've always purchased from Sephora but having this experince makes me never want to shop there again. I am human!

JC Penney haircut / employee behaviour

Today we went to Thousand Oaks Jc penny, zip code 91360. We had a very very very bad experience from the employee ave or eva(when asked she said these two names without clarity), Assoc:0150. We went to have a hair cut to my son(who is 5 years 9 Months), her behaviour from starting itself was very bad and while doing the hair cut she trimmed my Son eyebrows on one side. And to adjust that she said the similar cut on other side even though we are saying donot do as we don't like cutting the eyebrows. But without listing our words, she did to the other eye saying that i will balance the damage. when asked why and how you did that first of all, she is simply saying, kid moved so it happened. And the worst part is, when we asked we need to talk to your store manager, she satrted saying this is why I don't like these type of people. is there any reason to say that? when we asked her name, she started keep on saying that we don't like these type of people and their behaviour and so on...

we have been to this jcpenny many times over the year but never experienced this worst behaviour from any of the employee.

kid's will move a bit and if she is not capable of doing hair cur for kids, she should let parents know, instead she did the worst to the kid and started back firing on him.

Please TRAIN this lady on how to behave with customers and mainly with kids.

And my suggestion is, do not take have kids hair cut anytime with this lady.
