I have been wearing and installing weaves for 15 years. I normally purchase my hair from a company called Muze hair out in CA. They sell 100% human hair for $60 an ounce. I was looking for something a little cheaper and found Jaguar Luxury. They have video's, picture's and more lies on their site about how they only sell 100% Remy Human Hair. They shipped the hair really quickly maybe because they are located in Philly and I am in MD. When the hair arrived, it was in a pretty purple silk bag along with some other items in the box. They sent me 2 ugly dark purple and one red lip gloss and 3 bottles of dried, clumpy nail polish. When I pulled the hair out of the bag, they were packaged just like Beauty Supply Store Hair. I began reading the back of the package and it clearly states "made in china". With this I opened the package and the smell hit me, ladies who have used 100% REAL HAIR know what smell to look for, but this smell was of cheap, $10 weave from the corner store. Even feeling the hair made me upset, it was dry, brittle and had all types of fillers meaning, string, plastic strands and other things that didnt look like hair. After pulling them out, I installed the hair anyway. For the first day it was ok, but the next day i was so embarressed when my husband asked me for a brush so he could brush the rats nest in the back of my head because he could not stand to look at it any more. After 3 days that weave came out and I began to write and call Jaguar Luxury only for them to tell me that they have hundres of happy customers and cannot help me. I did contact the BBB and filed a complaint with them. PLEASE LADIES save your money and DO NOT PURCHASE hair from Jaguar Luxury. YOU WILL BE MAD, ANGRY and UPSET! Take it from me!

I purchased 2 packs of saga gold Brazilian remy hair and I am very unsatisfied. The hair tangles, gets matted and has a smell that resembles burnt plastic . This is nothing like any Brazilian hair I've had and I've only had it for two weeks. The hair states that it will not shed yet I find hair all over my home. As a consumer I feel the quality of this hair or lack of is unacceptable especially for the price you pay.

I have been a hairstylist for 17 yrs. After being educated in the hair industry and worked for several hair suppliers & hair product companies, as a platform artist, and currently owning my own multicultual hair salon, I have been a weaving expert for 10 yrs. I first ordered from Jaguar in 2010. The site specified a remi straight hair. It was a buy 1 get 2 free offer. I felt it was to good to be true, but I was curious. I ordered this hair & when I received it, the hair was of a good yaki quality. Not the standard of even a cheap remi! It wasn't worth sewing it in, so I used the bond in method for fill- in pieces. I do understand you get what you pay for. And that's what I got! So I wasn't mad. Here I am 2 yrs later and looking for an honest and fair hair supplier to stock my salon store and to build a lasting relationship with. Knowing Jaguar was a African American owned business I wanted to support my own, like all others races do. I spoke to Terry Briggs who claimed to be the owner of Jaguar Luxury & explained to him my past experience with his business and my market for a hair supplier. Of course he was apologetic & assured me of my satisfaction of is products & refund if necessary. I proceeded to order about $1200 worth ZADA remi hair @ wholesale cost. The hair I received did not appear to look an image of the pictures exampling the hair I ordered. Some of the hair fibers were wirey, look of sewed plastic strings and the ends were very thin. A10in bag of hair in a bob style ended up being 8in in length after trimming the straggly ends off. Without any products on the hair, the hair felt heavily coated like it was deep conditioned with some sort of cholesterol conditioner. I used this hair (2bags each) on 4 customers. 3 out 4 seriously complained. I uninstalled all 3 within 3 weeks. I called and called TERRY BRIGGS and my calls went unanswered until I decided to TEXT him out of frustration. It's funny the reaction you get when you hit a person's nerve with a few choice words. I immediately received a call back. After discussing my matter TERRY BRIGGS gave me an address to return the unused hair for a refund. I returned the package, paid for signature confirmation but I didn't purchase insurance (shame on me). After about 2 wks I checked the tracking# and it stated when it was delivered. I tried contacting TERRY BRIGGS again and again by calling & texts but once again it took a few choice words to get an immediate response. This so called OWNER didn't even have the balls to call me concerning this matter he ONLY texted me. This SCAM artist asked me for the tracking #. I texted it to him. I waited 3 days and called TERRY BRIGGS of course the Scammer didnt answer, so I texted him exactly how I felt about his business, how he handled my situation & himself as a typical black man. Immediately he responded (by text) to my few choice words & then stated he didn't receive my package but when I checked with the post office they told me when it was delivered. My $1200 situation lasted about 3 mths going back and forth with TERRY BRIGGS. Not only am I out of the original $1200, the return fee and the remaining hair I returned. There is nothing LUXURYabout JAGUAR. TERRY BRIGGS the OWNER is a JOKE! He is a THIEF! BEWARE it's obvious he needed the money. I will not let this BLACK THIEF hinder me from doing business with other African American businesses. However thieves always get there's in the end. I have photos of this hair but it's on my work computer. I' ll upload them @ a later date .

Feb 2012 i ordered the virgin Indiana hair bundle which was supposed to be 12 14 and 16 inches i placed my order and paid an extra $35 for 3 day shipping the hair took seven days they lied about the tracking info they took over 2 weeks to refund my $35 and my hair was out of stock which wasn't said until after they shipped and there response was we upgraded you from 16 to 18 in. i got the hair installed now don't get me wrong the hair was coo for about a month and then i washed it smh the hair became dry and wouldn't lay down no matter how much i brushed it so i just took it out and said eff it! never again!

I first purchased luxury jaguar hair back in 2009 i ordered the loose deep wave back when it was buy one get one free or something like that, after it took more than 10 business days to get to me in California I then had the hair installed. for the most part it was good hair it flat ironed great and i was able to wear it wavy. I even washed and blow dried the hair with no problem. Because of that i talked the company up for how great it was. 2011 rolls around and my grandmothers 60th birthday was coming so i decided to order her some of the 10 and 12 in remi hair it was straight hair ..when the hair finally arrived it smelt like fingernail polish remover it was dry and felt like plastic ridiculous is what it was! and the worst part about it is the owner he played with my money had me send back the free pack then took for ever just to give us a coupon that never came smh!... I am SO distraught.. I attempted to make a purchase with this company on Friday. I received a message that stated that my bank did not approve the purchase. The next thing I know, I look on my statement and it shows that the payment did go through, after all TWICE.. I am in shock. How could this be. ALSO, I did not Received a confirmation email letting me know about my order. PLUS I joined as a member and I can not find any trace of my account information. I hope that this company will be fair and refund me my money. I am scared S!1!tless in regards to what THE HAIR WILL LOOK LIKE AFTER READING ALL OF THESE REVIEWS. SAD

Hello Everyone,
I was skeptical about receiving the hair I ordered because of the reviews for Jaguar Remi. I ordered the loose deep wave and was very impressed with the product. I have had the hair in for a month now and it look great. I have even washed the hair on my head twice and it look great. I do notice that hair shed a lot but was not a matted mess like some of the reviews I have read.
This hair is great if you know how to take care of it. The only thing I use/d after a few weeks is oil sheen and my hair look freshly done.
I would most definately buy this hair again.

have been a long time customer of Craig's (Owner of the International Hair company) and the hair has always been great until my last two purchases. I decided to order the body wave as opposed to ordering the medium curly and the hair mats very badly. Additionally, I ordered the straight hair and the hair had lots of grey strands and it matted at the weft. I am very disappointed because he was gracious enough to provide me with an exchange for the straight hair for the body wave and both have been awful. I think that he may be purchasing less expensive hair to cut cost during the recession, but you can definitely tell the difference in the hair he sells now versus two years ago. For the most part it smells, has lots of grey strands and mats terribly at the weft of the hair. I did not have many problems with the medium curly, but that hair was purchased during t2009. I switched to the others in 2010. I have recommended many of my friends in the Chicago area to purchase the hair and they have been very disappointed. Very disappointed.

Sadly, I am adding to these comments way too late. I ordered my very first wet n wavy unit from Jaguar Luxury about a year ago. I was so excited to receive it and I just knew I found a great place because they had youtube videos, and they seemed so knowledgable about the hair. Well, I paid 279 for my unit. (The next week I saw the same unit listed for $379 with a $100 discount off, making it 279 again...) Anyway, the hair smelled like clay, clearly fake corner shop hair. The hair was nappy and dry from the start. It looked like costume witch hair. When I attempted to flat iron it, the hair smelled like burnt synthetic. It was pitiful. I figured I would never buy another lace wig since I assumed all of them were like this. Waste of money. Well, 3 months later I tried another place and they were excellent, hair was excellent, and I wish I could have seen all of these reviews before wasting my 279 on my first lace wig! Take it from the person who started this thread, DO NOT PURCHASE HAIR FROM JAGUAR LUXURY.

I went on the Jaguar website and honestly, the hair looks cheap. I totally get previous comments that were posted about the smell of "store bought" hair b/c yes, there is a definite smell however when I purchased real 100% Virgin Indian Remy hair, there was no chemically altered smell and the hair lasts for as long as you take care of it. Meaning you can take that hair out and use it time and time again. If there are those of you out there that cannot afford hair on sites such as Inhairco.com or orderhumanhair.com (I am sure there are many more sites but these are the two that I am very pleased with) then Jaguar might be your best option. But if you order from Jaguar then you might as well go to your local beauty supply store and buy the best store bought hair out there like IndiRemi or Bohyme hair. Just a thought...don't care if you like to comment or not. But for those who find it helpful...good.

Well Ladies,

I have been through the same process of finding a reputable dealer of weave hair products. I found International Hair Company in Sacramento that started out by sending me wht I actually ordered. Unfortunately, after a couple of times, they started sending me substandard hair which I noticed immediately. I tried one more time after the last "hand-tied" 100% remy human hair matted and tangled, only to get a package of hair that was doused with men's cologne (YSL). I immediately called the store and the guy admitted that he uses YSL, but he did not know how it got on the hair. It was a cover-up for the Chinese substandard hair. I am through with this company, also. International Hair Company!

Soulsista1-

"Indian Remy $75 and get 1 free". Basically, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. My gut told me I wouldn't get the quality hair that I am accustomed (Indian hair from India, Chinese or Malaysian hair from Chinese wholesellers) but the price got the best of me, however, the pictures speak for themselves. Please feel free to view for yourself http://s231.photobucket.com/albums/ee279/queenbluebee/JagLuxRemi/

MY review and observation of the quality of hair was not up to par to MY standards, no need in writing rebuttal or dissertation defending Jag Lux. If after 20 years of being a hairstylist the Jaguar Luxury Remy Hair mets what you consider quality hair, so be it, but for me as a 20 year weave wearer of both bss and higher grade hair (www.allaboutmyhair.com, Halley's Curls, Seghorni Shells, Wagmans, Indique, and Extensions Plus) it does not.

I am in the process of disputing the charges with my bank, I also contacted the compnay to try to reslove this and the owner Ron Goldberg was completely unprofessional and rude via e mail, went back and forth for about 2 hours regarding this matter in which he is not willing to reslove so I decided to contact my bank because this is very much so "fraud" and "false advertisment"! I hope they get shut down!

I will let you know when I hear something from the BBB, and something from the bank!

It is very ridiculous that we work hard for our money only to get scammed out of it like this, I'm pissed!

Did you get your money back? I filed a claim with the BBB and they did contact the company, however they stated that I had to contact an attorney. I did just that and am now suing them for false advertisement. I hope that we can stop them from selling us this worse than Beauty Supply Store Hair and passing it off as being the greatest hair around. Even the cheap brand at the store lasts about 2-3 weeks, this hair lasted a matter of days. Its not fair to us hard working women to be tricked like this. Let me know if the BBB helped you because I will contact them again if I have too.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER JAGUAR LUXURY REMY HAIR

I am yet another UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER that purchased hair from Jaguar Luxury, this is by far the worst hair i have ever used and it upsets me that we try to do business with our own kind and be supportive but only to get dooped! And they wonder why the chinese citizens are so successfuly her in the US.

I purchased the loose deep wave hair from them only to get it smelling funny but I figures that I would try it out anyway since I paid for it. the 1st day it was fine I did a sew in with the invisible part. they next day OMG! the hair was shedding all day I could not run my fingers through it, if so I was pulling back a patch of hair, there is tons of hair in the bush when I brush it ( using a wig brush only!)

I have not used any products on this hair only water!

I tried emailing the company only to ge them emailing me back asking me what kind of hair I normally use like it matters!
I also called and asked to speak to the owner or a manager, a woman stated that she was the owner, I had spoken to her before when I purchased the hair and then again when they made a duplicate order and charged my card twice, and then again regarding the order so I am assuming that this is the person that does the entire operation because she is the only one that is there all the time.
Today I called to get information on returning this hair to them and she told me that there is no refunds or excahnges on their hair... um I asked her is that listed on the website, she replies that they send you a borchure in the box, WHAT! wouldnt it be nice to know that before I make a purchase with you?

Needless to say I am in persuit of having this company investigated for fraud, and to hopefully have their online operation but to rest!

I just wanted to add to all of the comments that people have already made. I used to live in Philadelphia and went into the actual store to purchase this hair. I must say that their advertisement is great but please do not be fooled. I even spoke to the owner myself to inquire about where he purchased his product. He informed me that they went directly to China to get their hair. I felt pretty confident after spending about an hour in the store and being showed several samples. So i purchased two packs. Dont get me wrong the hair was great for the first two days at the most! after that it was irretrievably matted and tangled to the point where i had to cut it just to get it out. The same happened to a friend of mine who purchased around the same time. Needless to say, I will NEVER get hair from them again. And just as a tip, hair that is from China is not good for weaving, Indian hair is much better and matches with our hair texture. I suggest going to International Hair Company...inhairco.com it may be pricey but this hair will last for a very long time.

Come on math wiz... I'm waiting! Right you see how much the hair cost. You fake like you know so much but dont know ###. Keep working for company and keep getting f**ked in the ### you obviously love it. Stupid ###! Grow up and get alife, GHETTO QUEEN! Post a picture of what you look like on here, I bet you cant do that right? You probably shop at Rainbow, wear payless shoes and have pink and blue weave weave in your hair. SoulSista 1 you must work for Jaguar Luxury because you sure are riding the [censored] out of them right now. But I will be sure to include you in my lawsuit that I am filing against them for false advertisement.
Try and get your money back from them if you want too and see if you dont feel the same way we all do.
Why do you think we tried the hair? Because it was from a BLACK owner dumb ###! I wanted to try something diffrent then getting the hair from India and YES to all my REAL 100 % REMY HAIR ladies it DOES smell different. So since you have no clus as to what your talking about and work for Jaguar Luxury, stay off this post. Its obvious that I am not the only one that feels this way.
Get a life and a real job! Stop kissing Jaguar Luxury's ###!

15 years...? and you normally pay $60 per ounce. Each bundle of hair has about 4 ounces of hair. Ask Lugo's in NYC. So you normally pay $240 per bundle or $480 just for 2 packs of hair. And I am sure you normally eat caviar for breakfast and japense kobe steak for dinner, but you are eating at the waffle house tonight. Like Michael Jackson said...'c'mon girl...' And you normally pay 250 for your sew ins but shaquita is doing this time on her porch for 35 only this 1 time. Quit the lying.

Just like in the fashion business, you can buy Ralph Lauren chaps and you can buy Ralph Lauren Purple label. You can buy Jaguar Luxury remi straight and you can buy The Virgin Indian and the Brazilian Soft. Everybody can't afford Virgin Indian. If you can't just say you cant. But no need to lie on top of lie. Just keeping it real with you Sista!

I have been doing hair for over 20 years. Tell me what does good hair smell like? What about a good perm? What does that smell like? What does color #1b smell like? What does fusion smell like? Be real. And if your weave just fell out after 3 days, that has nothing to do with the hair, it has to do with the way your stylist put the hair in. A good sew in job will stay in for weeks no matter if the hair is synthetic or human hair. Go somewhere with that non sense girl.

Please girlfriend. "...I don't like to bring down my fellow black businesses.." I learned early on in my relationships with men, whatever you say you don't like doing is what you are trying to do... Why don't you just say your are marketing for muze hair. We can google them and give them a try if you just say you are blogging for them (lol) In my experience in doing hair for my California sistas when they visit Atlanta for videos shoots, etc. If you are buying 100 a bag hair and you like it, you don't buy anything else. You sound silly with that I usually buy x, y, and z. You usually fly first class but I guess you are just flying coach today. Come on.

OMG. This is an obvious fake. How can hair worn for 2 weeks just start getting greasy? Honey please I am a hair stylist. Black people's hair don't get greasy unless they put grease in it. Our hair tends to be dry not greasy or oily. Also, darling please take your time and look at every pack of hair in every beauty supply store in your 'hood. Every pack of hair in their says ...'made in China'. I use Saga Gold. Some of my clients like it.But Saga Gold is not $60 per ounce. And flip that package over honey. It is made in China.

It appears to me that these post were created for the sole purpose of being injurious. First, I will say that my experience has been totally different than yours. I first started buying from this company in early 2008. I met Victor, one of the owners, at a Bronner Brothers hair show. I am a licensed hair stylist and have been buying hair since i was 19 years old. So I have been buying hair for a long time now. I have worked as a platform artist for Sensantional and Milky Way through shows produced by Total Media Group and Glynn Jackson. I have used Milky Way hair, Velvet Remi, Indi Remi and a lot of other brands. And I can show you negative post in blackhairmedia.com on all those brands.

What I will tell you as a professional is that "all hair" sheds. Even the hair on your own head sheds everyday. Also lighter color hair and curly hair tangles more than dark colored and straight hair. Girlfriend, just lift that weave up you are wearing and look at your natural kinky hair underneath. Also, it appears from the other posts that none of these ladies have ever tried the brazilian soft or the virgin indian remi hair. I have used it all on my clients. I will tell you the truth. The straight and wavy indian hair will last from 4 to 8 weeks depending on how you take care of it. That is about what the other brands last. But the good stuff from Jaguar, the stuff that cost more than what these honeys have been buying has lasted my clients over 1 year. And that is no lie.

I do hair for African-American women and caucasian women. If they have a brand they like I use it. For customers that ask me to recommend, I recommend Jaguar for many reasons. But reason #1 is the Buy 1 get 1 free is a good quality hair a good price. All my customers can't afford the expensive hair. For customers that want the best, I recommend the Brazilian Soft or the Virgin Indian. I have never seen a hair last longer than Jaguar Brazilian Soft. None of my customers have ever experienced what you all talking about.

I am sorry to say sistas. 2 things are going on here. Because these 3 black men started a hair company, you are being extra nasty with them. And my white clients buy human hair and my sistas look for miracle hair. Better watch Good Hair and go natural like me.

Wow. I just found this post. I had a different experience with the Jaguar Luxury hair. I bought buy one get one too on 2 different ocassions, but I've never had a problem. The first time was last July I got the Loose Deep Wave, it did well for me> I got so many complements> The hair did need hair serum after I'd been in the pool though. I ordered euro straight color #1 in Dec 2009 for a nice bob style and like that too.
My stylist does my hair and he has rcommended it too others since seeing how my hair looked during the times I've had it. I think maybe the lighter color of the hair might make some of it dry and such.

Overall I like it and will continue to but it< hopefully I wont had any issue, but 2 for 2 is good! My next step up is going to be the Virgin Hair I'm dying to try it, but it does cost more so we'll see.

BUYER BEWARE: I got the box in December 2009. My sister was at the house with me. We opened the box and she fell out with laughter. It looks like straight Beauty Supply Store "BSS" hair...(no it is worse than BSS hair). I took it out to inspect it. The hair was super silky, shiny called Euro Straight. Wait, didn't I purchase Remi Straight as advertised on the website "Jaguar Luxury remi hair extension uses nothing but the finest 100% human indian remi hair to make our products."

Ladies, the hair is NOT human. My sister shook the hair and it shedded. She finger combed the hair and it SHEDDED HORRIBLY. She didn't even take the hair out the package. She grabbed her cigarette lighter and torched the shedded hairs. It melted and smelled like burnt plastic.

I ordered 1B and 1B/30. Why in the hell was the 1B/30 a track 1B and track 30 sewn together? Angm, I wish I had read this post and researched prior to my purchase. I could have saved myself $75.00, time, and energy.

I would like to say that I was tricked into buying this fake me out, worse than beauty supply store hair. The tracks are all crooked, and the hair is very thin on the tracks. It became a rats nest, the same night I put it in. I went to the local beauty salon to see if they could help me but the only thing they could do was take it out, even AFTER washing, conditioning, drying, flat ironing and some more [censored]. I am sooooo mad that I ever spent my money on this garbage and trust me I am going to tell my girls NOT to EVER buy hair from them. Oh and my head (scalp) broke out really bad from their cheap ### hair. NEVER AGAIN

OMG, I felt the same way as you, I purchased this hair and I should have known a deal like they had was too good to be true, buy 1 get 2 free, but I purchased anyway, I nornmally pay about $100.00 a bag for my hair and decided to try this because of all the good reviews on THERE WEBSITE.

I bought 2 packs and got 4 free, and once I received it, yes the shipping was fast but once I got the hair, it was some other items in the box, the nail polish was clunpy and the lip gloss was watery, I threw those out.

I went to my stylist and had her do a sew in, she told me she could really tell this hair was not up to the standards I had used in the past.

I ordered 1B/30, these cheap people took 1b and sewed the weft together with 30 to make it 1b/30, the weft was not straight, it looked as though they sewed this in there house on a with a needle and thread, it was horrible.

The hair felt ok the first day but the next day I was like the other person, embarrased to have this in my head, I tried flat ironing it on low heat and it burned the hair, I found so many fillers in this hair it was crazy.

This hair is NOT 100% human, it has more fillers than human hair.

My head and neck was itching from the so called hair, but it is the fillers and strings that is making it itch.

I pushed it for 2 weeks in my head and I had to take it out and go back to my SAGA GOLD, I through the rest of this hair in the garbage.

I wouldn't even give it away free.

I don't like to bring down my fellow black businesses but come on people this is crazy how you are lying and selling this fake hair.

I wrote the president of the company a email and I just explained to him at some point word of mouth will get out and that will either make a company or break it and in there case I am sure it will break them.

DO NOT BUY YOUR HAIR FROM THESE PEOPLE, ITS' NOT REAL HUMAN HAIR AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY SEW THIS IN THERE FREAKING HOUSE.

Oh, and yes it does get very matted and it u try and put something on it to manage it, omg it gets so nasty and greasy.

This is just my honest opinion.
