More than one waitress here is spoiled. A drink and meal were ordered. The wait staff person took long to bring the drink and well over 1/2 hour. Upon delivery there was no apology. The food tasted like frozen Sam's Club stuff. Later when no tip was given, the wait person looked offended, and there was some mumbling, as if to say she deserved a tip. I don't owe you jack.
To Julep3: My complaint entitled "Spoiled Wait Staff", brought you to two false statements: 1. You stated that I said that waitress cooked the food. You're wrong. Reread the short paragraph. I said that the waitress took long to bring the drink.
2. You stated, "so she does not have control over the wait time". You're wrong. Most restaurants' wait staff have full control over the timing of the drinks, and in other restaurants can have large influence over it. Some wait staff have large influence over the timing of the food. In any case, the delivery of the drinks is primarily the wait staff's fault, and secondarily the bartender's (if there is one)- not at all the cook's fault. If I were a professor of any class that had to do with logic (and hopefully I will be), I would not want to teach you- ever.
The waitress does not cook the food, so she does not have control over your wait time. She also does not have any control over how the food tastes. If I were a server in a restaurant (and thank goodness I am not), I would not want to wait on you. Ever.
