Jack Sterling Thai Ridgeback Dogs review: Thai Ridgeback Dog puppy mill 55

The saga finally ends, and all of Jack Sterling's prisoners were set free when Jack died from complications of COVID-19, February 2021. Karma finally caught up with Jack. His family state side (who didn't agree with his practices) gave consent for Elephant Nature Park (who are caring for his dogs and are currently up for adoption) & Watchdog Thailand the legality to go in and seize his starving and neglected dogs. While the world was dancing on his soon to be grave, not caring about the fate of the dogs & puppies left in his compound. Two Americans who love the breed worked together to get the proper forms drawn up, so his family stateside could sign the proper legal forms and email them the to the rescue, relinquishing his dogs to their care. Without their love for the breed, his dogs would have died a slow, painful death from starvation and dehydration. Special thanks to Watchdog Thailand for exposing Jack Sterling for his abuse and neglect of the Royal breed of Thailand; Elephant Nature Park for taking in all of Jack's dogs for a second time (1st confiscation was July of 2020); Cathleen A. Combs (Land of Bellehound Thai Ridgebacks) for typing up a relinquishment form for Jack's family to sign; Justin Saenz (TopKing Thai Ridgebacks) for emailing the forms to Sterling's family, so they could email their consent to have all of Jack's dogs legally be removed from his property, and taken into the custody of the rescue.

Who are these people? I have never met any of them. I did meet Ray Hanson and I thought he was a good guy. I never met the girl calling herself Melissa in Canada. All she did was email me. The road turned sour with her. So, I just refused to sell her. The Dog Man is a wee bit looney me thinks.. But again I never met him. All of these people I never met except Ray. None of them ever came here and the reason they wanted a TRD was to cash in on them. How can you call any person you have never met or have ever done any sort of deal in buying a puppy from them a puppy mill? That is just plain slander. So, you can rear 3 pages of just plain BS at this complaints board about me.. None is actual or factual.. all are from the types of people you call HATERS in most of the Internet forums. Notice after reading all this dribble from all these small minded people you can if you are intelligent figure these are jealous, lonely, and full of hate sort of people. There are hundreds of thousands of people like this out there across the world. The best I can do is to continue to create the very best in this breed and try to sell only those who are positive. Who are these people anyways? None will really post their real names. But they seem to love to attack and slander me a guy who got this TRD breed started in the USA in 1994 when there was no internet and I am still here doing the best I can in creating always a better animal. If you all really knew the real truth and not this silly BS from all these coward.. Shame on all of those who posted all this negativity that is on this complaints page.. Shame on you all.

those two dogs and I mean a lot of people. But not one has ever sent me a foto
of the two dogs. I would love to show this shop and their dogs and tell that
story. There are several owners in that area. But I have no idea what

$250, the cost of shipping $650 and the cost of this female $1500 ... a total of
$2400.. Once I see that money in my account ..You, Adam, James, Ryan and
Jessica will get that litter of TRD born that day September 15th. Litter # 2
will be shipped to LAX and all will then be shipped to JFK, Boston, amd
Philly... and you?

8. Jack write 10/19/14 High? Where do you live? I lived in California in the 1990's and
the TRD was $2000 back then. The dollar was worth a wee bit more and the Thai
baht a lot less. I paid $8600 for 2 ### and 1 stud. The Chihuahua and the
Yorkie were on the market from a fine breeder for about $800 up to
$1500.The TRD was totally unknown in the west in 1994. The cost of
shipping and cage in Thailand is higher than the USA cuz the US has a huge
buying power in many things including the cage.. Thailand allows its people to
ship with wire cages that is cheaper than the plastic cage that America airlines
approve only for so-called safety reasons. A wire cage is cheap.. a fraction of
a plastic cage. You want a BLUE male? I have 4 puppies with no ridges I will
sell for $300 to $400. They need homes and why not? A perfect BLUE male is
$2500 and cheap lesser quality BLUE TRD is as low as $300. The bus fare is what
it is.. Leaves my home in a pickup truck ($6.00 a gallon) and drives the pup at
the 4th month to the Chiang Mai Airport to be unloaded and ready to ship to
Bangkok which is the international hub in Thailand to be loaded on an
international flight to Korea or Japan and then after the reloading of fuel
($$?) then flies to LAX which is almost half the way around the planet. Then
you receive your pup at the TAC office and pay them the fee they want to do the
paperwork cuz that is the way it is in the USA. I bet a Micky D burger is more
money here than there.. Many thing is more costly here than there because of the
USA's buying power. Wal Mart buys here cheap and sell there at a much higher
price cuz it cost so much to ship stuff.. You come here and buy that same TRD at
the 8th week and it will be cheaper for sure. The rule in the USA is 4th
month... who cares for that new puppy for free? To the EU country it is 7
months and a $500 blood test plus 90 days at $10 a day here. What is day care
boarding in the US or Europe maybe 4 times my $10 fee. What did you
expect to pay for a extremely rare FAWN female? I have BLUE and RED and BLACK
for $500 up to $1500. Yeah you are right.. You never told me where you
live only HOW MUCH are my doggies in the sceeen you see at www.ThaiDog.comYes you wasted your
time and mine by not filling out the contacts form that clearly tells you the
prices.
Never will I do business with this man. So glad I read what others said about him and this proves they were right.

This all ### Ray never pay all the money and is trying to make story bad at Jack. I was there. Ray go to prison for dealing grass to a police man. He spend 1-2 months in jail and never tell us. Jack had to sell the female to another lady as Ray never contact him because Ray was in jail serving his time for deal drugs in Thailand. Ray owes me money and he lies here. I think he good man and I see his is a liar. He not tell true here. People who buy my TRD are buying great puppies. Jack have great bloodlines. I think these few people are crazy people. The never meet Jack or know him as I do. Jack is a very good man who love this breed. Only these few are stupid and angry for what. I have a very good kennel and not a puppy mill as they start to say on page one. Not one of these people ever meet Jack in person. All is slander from very stupid people I think.

This slightly true.. Ray sent me 900 pounds and gave us 5000 Thai Baht the night he came back to Chiang Mai from spending 2 months in a Thai jail for buying or dealing drugs in PATTAYA.. His lawyer contacted me about he wanting the money back for a dog he had paid half the money on. We have the dog we bought for him due to we did not have a non related male as he wants a breeding pair cuz it seems he wants to become a new greeder breeder in the UK so he can rip off new Brits. He is the one who changed his mind and decide not to take that male. Not my fault! Nothing wrong with the TRD here only the ones who are now trying so hard to become new wannabe greedy breeders..Let me ask all who are able to read.. if you tell anyone you want to buy a dog and then you come to say you did not have enough money to pay.. would you give a person their money back because he found cheaper quality elsewhere?

The female was sold cuz he was in prison and I have only a short window of time in selling a puppy.. That new buyer is in Italy and she knows of the guy Ray.. as does two other TRD people in London.. Ray did a video with me when he first arrived and he said the dogs looked good to him... and they are.. but now these same TRD became ### to him.. Go figure this guy.. The police in Chiang Mai just laughed at him as I went to see them. They said it was a civil matter and Ray needs to sue me. His lawyer will charge him more money to get that deposit money he gave me back. Now, what about the blue puppy he bought? He just forgot it cost me money to buy that puppy and care for that puppy... Am I to lose in that deal.. Ray Hanson is a very nice man who has turned into a big crybaby.. RAY, WHY DID YOU RIP US OFF?

Basically I paid him 1000£ and I've not got any dog that he promised me
I was to buy two and he ask for deposit and I sent that to him, although I was not comfortable sending him money from the uk to Thailand via western union I still went ahead
To my surprise he sold the female dog when I was in a spot of trouble although I had paid deposit and was promised two dogs from him.
Cut a long story short I came all the way from uk to Thailand to see the dogs myself . This man has taken my money and is refusing to pay me back because I don't want his dogs from him. He is one off the worst trd breeders I've come across since I started my search
He owes me 1000£ and he's telling me I'm not getting it back,

I'm a young Canadian girl from Ontario I emailed Jack he contacted me by calling me within the same day I was shocked most breeders don't contact me so fast. He called and finally the second time I picked up. We talked on the phone for about 45 minutes and majority of our conversation was about Jack telling me what he did in 1980 in 1983 in 1987: pretty much his whole life story. He pretty much wanted to prove himself to me before I did research on him (which I didn't do until I Hung up the phone w/him) I did not want to mention that I read anything online when I politely declined the interest of a puppy and thanking him for the time he took to call me & I received an email back asking why I wasted his time. After that he got very rude to the point where I thought it was very unprofessional. Professional breeders would normally tell you other places where you can purchase this dog he on the other hand immediately began attacking me he analyzed every single email and copy and paste and analyze every single sentence. He began to call me ignorant and stupid and all sorts of kinds the names I threaten to expose all of our emails online to let everybody see how our first contact went down. This true & simple fact made him more angry and emails continued on with very little respect for me as a potential buyer. I have never been to his kennel I don't know what his property looks like but judging by the reading online and the responses I am getting through email (from him) he is what people are saying and he is trying very hard to defend himself and he is exposed all over the Internet no matter where someone posted a comment he is on there trying to redeem himself. I've never been so upset with someone I've never met in my life pressure selling is not the way to buy a puppy. Potential buyers should not have to feel bad about inquiring about a dog. My last straw was when I contacted a Canadian breeder she knew immediately what /who I was referring to and all I did was describe some nasty emails we had between each other. I have every single email between each other and I am willing to share with anybody who wants to see them. I have contacted quite a few breeders all which were lovingly kind people none of them put pressure on me to buy immediately, but here was Jack trying to tell me to send the money right away (a deposit on a puppy).
I was offended, upset I even took the time out of my day to write this .
It's almost like he couldn't take no for an answer. & then the emails started.

I want to tell my story. I meet Jack by facebook and I talk to him by skype .In fall of 2012. I went to Cambodia to give lithography classes to the royal university.
I live with a TRD since 8 years. In mexico we don´t have to TRD. So I have an opportunity to have a male dog.I get in contact with Jack. We have a very interesting conversation about the breed, He knows a lot. So I visit him to his house. He help me to get a nice hotel and he coach me all the way. He offer me a room in his house. Very kind of his part. I can tell he has a strong personality but always with education (with bad words included). We make a deal and he make me discounts, he is hard with the money but at the same time he offer me good deal that make me loose the sleep. Hard to make a decision with the opportunities that he offer me. Then I bring 4 dogs one without payment, he give me time to pay it. ( Very nice from him) .
I read all the complains. This is not my experience with him. I be 10 days, every day with him and the dogs. I saw all the
kennels, the dogs has a lot of space. They clean every day. They have big fields for exercice. I help him a little because
he has a lot of work. He is full time to his dogs. I saw him. I understand how he express himself. He is tired about so many work. They
way he lives and talk is very direct so some people get mad. They help me all the way to Bangkok. His wife bring me to the airport. He could not go with us because he has to be with the dogs. So for me become a good friend!
I'm very happy with my dogs and I hope to see him again, by the way he lives in a beautiful place,

Yes, I believe many people that read this stuff about you do know the truth. I have received many emails congratulating me on our new family additions. Now really. Because I ALSO train law enforcement dogs and family home protection dogs does that make me abusive or effective? Here is an article regarding a local police department that called on me to rehab a couple of there out of control patrol dogs that were attacking there handlers and other officers. I'd love to see you handle one of these animals. My bet is you would fail miserably and end up in the hospital.

Both of these breeders were great people to do business with. I regard them all as friends. they are honest and made me fair prices. the dogs were breed very well and have legit Thai Kennel Club pedigrees. All paperwork was done and I was escourted to the air port to ensure i would have no problems leaving Thailand. I'll be back next year. Dont bother with Jack. The guy is rediculious. I have not found one person that had anything good to say about him. I dot think anyone would miss him if he croaked tomorrow.
Jack should be careful how he conducts business and handles his paying customers. Some may not be as forgiving as I was. :)

Hello all who come to this page for their daily dose of ### from that crazy dog man called David Rainier from the New England area near Boston.

He calls me an ### when clearly any intelligent person can see he is speaking of himself. He did threaten to come to my home to kill me or blow up my car. The local police were informed and they just laughed as we all did on how this immature man of what he said of 48 years old had to say in all of his slanderous skype calls in IM.

I suggested he buy a TRD elsewhere he did from a Thai broker of sorts. He did all the things I suggested to him before he went crazy with his anger and what seems to be his typical stupidity that his own clients spoke of him.

When one is trying to do the best they can in whatever one is doing it is really difficult when people like this guy comes along. I did the right thing and just refused to sell him.

Better not deal with his kind of person...

Anyone looking for TRD reputable breeders in thailand please feel free to contact me. i went to thailand and made some very good friends. the thai people are awesome. i came back with two awesome pups. recently this ### contacted me and sent me a photo of the pup i left the deposit on. all i can say is all things work out for a reason. i am happy i ended up with the super black i got from Ms. Noi instead. the recent photo he sent me shows a pathetic looking uncared for pup. Jack should be shut down. because of greed he still has the dog he jacked the price up on by 1000. dollars after leaving him the deposit on an agreed upon figure. the dog he said was worth 2000 plus dollar that others would pay more for he couldnt give to me in its current state. too bad really. i feel bad for the pups. that pup will sit in a kennel and soon be too old to sell at all.

"Whoever sends their money remotely to another state or another country to buy a puppy gets what they deserve." i have done it many times. most of the time dog people are streight forward. I have never run into a guy like this in my years of living. i am glad i only sent him 250 instead of the 500 or payment in full he was looking for later. I was born at night but it wasnt last night. i dribbled him a little to see if he could be mature with it. The party has just begun.

I wonder if you may have had anything to do with any of it. I really cant find anyone that has anything nice to say except you ausi friend and you probably had to pay him. For the record. you did not exactly refuse to sell me any dog. you waited until i left a deposit and then compleatly started altering the deal, holding me up for more money and playing games. Well I am a bit confused, can you please tell me the many us breeders of trd, cause i CAN NOT locate them. So from all the research I have done on Jack (before i was going to contact him) the ONLY negative stuff I have found was from all of the same people and it seems to be a small group. LOOK I am just, so hopefully, trying to give a loving home and relationship to an incredible dog. So can someone please point me in the direction to do so? I mean if you love the breed, or animals that wouldnt be asking to much, would it?

I bought 2 red Thai Ridgebacks from Jack that was my 1st mistake.
WHAT WAS HER MISTAKE? WHY WAS IT A MISTAKE? IS THAT MY FAULT SHE WANTED TWO CHEAP TRD?

We came to a price of $2, 500 shipping included I sent him 2 payments of $1250 then came the other charge of 2 broken crates $150 a piece.

THE TWO TRD WERE $1500 EACH AND THE SHIPPING AND CAGE WAS ABOUT $700 each...back then..They were NOT broken here and what happen in transport is not my fault!

The day I was to leave to pick them up in CA I get a call from Jack he needs the shipping money which was already in the price of $2, 500 but shipping went up so I had to pay another $300 for shipping or he would not send my dogs and owe him another $500.

Typical Kathy fashion.. This woman was a nightmare from day one.. She is right.. It was a mistake to sell her.. She was what most men in America dread in a woman..

I paid Jack his $500 for shipping, he then tells me he spent it on the USA dog magazine for an ad I didn't want to be part of. Then came the harassing emails & phone calls telling me I still owe him $500 and this went on for 3 months I ended up getting an unlisted phone number and never using my email again.

When the police came on a one time visit to my home because of this blogsite and who ever the cowards are... they looked for everything that THEY the people claiming what they were claiming... and guess what.. They found NOTHING! They found a 60 year old man feeding his Thai dogs.. They counted and they looked everywhere as if I was some big drug dealer.. but soon the big boss looked at his men and said it very clear.. Jealous people who do not like you because you are famous. They the police commented on how nice my dogs looked and what beautiful puppies I had. That was in the fall of 2007.. I report to the Thai immigatrion every 3 months as those are the rules here in Thailand for ALL foreigners. We still talk about that and the police are not looking at me for doing anything wrong at all. Everyone is welcome to come visit our kennels. No one comes and then go out to spread slander as these two people are doing and the other people who also do not come here.. I seriously would love to show off mt beautiful home and kennels to those who care to come and visit..

He was nearly caught by SPCA here in New Jersey, but made a stealthy escape in the early hours of the morning as the authority's grew ever more interested in his activities.

I see my name has been mentioned a few times in his ramblings, due to the fact that I had previously owned raredogs.com. On the site I exposed him to the world for his inhumane and unethical treatment of the dogs I love.

More ###.. He is a sore loser and a guy who claimed he was my friend.. but in fact he is really a coward.

I did buy my first dog from him in November of 1997, Sakorn II who died September 18, 2011.

Sorry to hear SAKORN lived so long for you.. I guess I ###ed up and sold you a really good dog that lived too long..14 years.. WOW!
